Im (not) sorry guys, but the scene where Enid leaves the dorm is so very very break up coded and everything after that. Like, Wednesday full on MOURNED that “friendship” (quotations bc they’re gay) but couldn’t care less when her (supposed) love interests were pissed at her. The whole point of fanfics and fanart is that we can write and draw whatever we want without condemnation from other people. It’s an outlet for crazy ideas and has produced amazing stories and pictures we would never see in the mainstream media.

So when someone like this tumblr user starts getting on their high horse about other people’s work it really grinds my gears. (EDIT the post has been deleted) Throwing out negativity like that is totally against the rules of fanfics/fandoms.

These sorts of people just just want attention. And I can bet they read all this stuff and secretly like it but somehow feel they have to do some sort of weird self flagellation for their sins then preach to others about how awful it all is to hide their self righteous shame.

I responded to them, and yeah it was a bit mean (like I give a crap) but you don’t go posting bile like that - and calling people out by name which is inexcusable- and get away with it in my book.

They are too cowardly to respond to me and explain themselves so they deleted my message. Which I just happened to screenshot 😂😂😂

TO EVERYONE

Keep writing weird stuff. Keep drawing what you like. Even if you are the only person who reads it or sees it KEEP GOING. Stopping being creative cos someone is trying your force their beliefs on you means they win, and we don’t want that sort of censorship - it destroys creativity.

Censorship never works - have a look back in history as to how successful it is in all walks of life. .

Oh - one final word. Age of consent in the Wednesday universe? In Vermont, where the show is set the age of consent is 16 (same as country I live in). And someone who is 15 can legally have sex too as long as the other person is 18 or under and it is consensual. I checked the ACTUAL FUCKING LAWS OF THE STATE BITCHES. Check for yourself if you want.
