DP x DC: The Most Dangerous Card Game
Ok so Danny has essentially claimed earth as his. And he is fully aware that there are constant threats to the planet. Now he can’t stop a threat that originates on earth (that’s something he’ll leave to the Justice league) but he can do something about outside threats. Doing some research on ancient spells, rituals, and artifacts, he cast a world wide barrier on the planet to protect it from hostile threats so they cannot enter. This will prevent another Pariah Dark incident. However, barriers like this come at a price. You see, there are two ways to make a barrier. Either make one powered up by your own energy and power (which would be constantly draining) or set up a barrier with rules. The way magic works is that nothing can be absolutely indestructible. It must have a weakness. The most powerful barriers weren’t the ones reinforced with layer after layer of protective charms and buffed up with power. Those could eventually be destroyed either by being overpowered, wearing them down, or by cutting off the original power source. No, the most powerful barriers were the ones with a deliberate weakness. A barrier indestructible except for one spot. A cage that can only be opened from the outside. Or that can only be passed with a key or by solving a riddle. So Danny chooses this type of barrier and does the necessary ritual and pours in enough power to make it. And he adds his condition for anyone to enter.
Now the Justice league? Find out about the barrier when Trigon attempts to attack, they were preparing after he threatened what he would do once he got to earth. How he would destroy them. The Justice league tried to take the fight to him first but were utterly destroyed, so they retreated home to tend to their injuries, and fortify earth for one. Last. Stand. Only when Trigon makes his big entrance…he’s stopped.
The Justice league watch in awe as this thin see-through barrier with beautiful green swirls and speckled white lights like stars apears blocking Trigon and his army’s advance. The barrier looks so thin and fragile yet no matter how hard the warlord hits, none of his attacks can get through and neither can he damage said barrier. That’s when Constantine and Zatanna recognizes what this barrier is. Something only a powerful entity could create. For a moment, the league is filled with hope that Trigon can’t get through yet Constantine also explains that it’s not impenetrable. And clearly Trigon knows this too for he calls out a challenge.
And that’s when, in a flash of light, a tiny glowing teenager appears. He looked absolutly minuscule compared to Trigon and yet practically glowed with power (this isn’t a King Danny AU though).
And that is when the conditions for passing the barrier are revealed. And the Justice realize that the only thing stopping Trigon and his army from decimating earth. The only way he can get through….is by beating this glowing teenager in a card game.
Not just any card game though. The most convoluted game Sam, Danny, and Tucker invented themselves. It’s like the infinite realms version of magic the gathering, combined with Pokémon, and chess. And Danny is the master. So sit down Trigon and let’s play.
(The most intense card game of the Justice league’s life).
After Danny wins, this happens a few more times with outer word beings and possibly even demons attempting to invade earth, yet none have been able to beat the mysterious teenager in a card game. Constantine might even take a crack at it and try to figure out how to play. He’s really bad though. Every time this happens, the Justice league worry that this might be the time the teenager looses. Yet every time, he wins (even if only barely).
Meanwhile, Danny, Sam, and Tucker have gotten addicted to the game and play it almost daily. Some teachers might seem them playing the game are are like ‘awww how cute’ not realizing this game is literally saving the world. Jazz is just happy they aren’t spending as much time on their screens playing Doomed.

EVIL MARK, EVIL MARK, EVIL MARK!!! I want to be coherent about this season but please picture me foaming at the mouth and running on the walls. S2 being what if Mark's just like his Dad? Insanity. I love this show. Anyways, AU where an Evil!Mark tries to make Our!Mark worse, and Our!Mark tries to make the other better. Something something confronting your idea of the worst version of oneself. Plus, tweaked black and yellow costume because I saw it and immediately went murder hornet lookin' ass and knew I had to draw it. Evil ass Mark. Horrible. I think he should be dragged kicking and screaming into redemption.

stacy is sooo interesting because she's in love with house but knows that they will never ever be able to have a healthy, stable, sane relationship because they're too similar so. she finds house-lite instead and marries him and. essentially moves on with her life! and is successful in this because she's a moderately well-adjusted person!
wilson, in contrast, never manages to escape the inevitable, in spite of his best efforts to find a house-lite of his very own, because he's an absolute fucking freak and ends up glued to house to the bitter. bitter end

how do you think succession characters would do on an episode of hot ones?
kendall and shiv both force themselves to eat up to the hottest wing and get wrecked; kendall had spent weeks before the interview eating different hot sauces he forced jess to buy to ‘build up his tolerance’ but gets wrecked by the fourth wing anyway; shiv claims she didn’t start feeling it until the fifth wing; they fight about this for months
romans wont eat the wings for eating disorder reasons
tom is out by the first wing (‘oooh thats got a kick’ ‘that one is unseasoned mr wambsgans’)
greg chokes on a chicken bone and dies
old guard hasnt eaten a chicken wing since 1998; karl gets the farthest
logan is out by the second wing; throws a fit; calls sean evans gay for wanting him to eat food that makes him ‘pant like a f@g’
stewy……..is out by the first wing sorry guys i just don’t think he’s a spicy food guy he likes pancakes and waffles

People always say bruce kidnapped jason immediately after meeting him but at least he only took him in after leaving him at the crime orphanage didn’t work out. With cass they had exactly one conversation consisting of them drawing in the dirt and throwing punches at each other while bruce projected his past experiences onto her and then he was welcoming her in like “i have complete confidence that she won’t kill anybody”

Anime:
GOKU: I have a great idea to bring peace to the universe, and my leadership and compassion alone will unite us all. I have No Flaws and am A True Relatable Everyman :)
VEGETA: NO! I AM THE BEST AND I WILL CAUSE PROBLEMS UNTIL I AM RECOGNIZED AS SUCH!!!!
Manga:
GOKU: Vegeta what's cornmeal made of? I know it's what the corn eats, but what's it made of?
VEGETA: Hey Kakarot let's play the quiet game until one of us dies.

You know what? I woke up today, feeling like it’s gonna be a fabulous day. But then my mind does whatever the fuck it’s done for the past eight months and betrays me again
”Bitch, you remember the fact that Jere and Bojan both admitted to having a crush at Eurovision??”
Do you have a Eurovision crush?
Maybe! But I can’t tell more.
Is there flirting going on backstage?
Maybe!
But, yeah. Something crazy happens.
X
Now, based on your experience, can you find something for all tastes at Eurovision and how was it with crushes? Oh, Bojan definitely found something for his taste
Ohhh, I don’t know… Everyone here has probably been to summer camp, right? Well, at summer camp there’s always someone you have a bit of a crush on, right. And Eurovision is exactly the same. Of course there’s someone you’d have a crush on.
And what do you do when you have a crush on someone?
Well nothing, you hang out a lot, and dance, and sing… And you give them condoms so they can use them with someone else

Obi-Wan: *shows up to Dex’s diner with a Space Gucci (Spucci) bag and new sunglasses* Some guy outside the senate just offered me several G for a foot photoshoot and I had a few free hours so everyone’s tabs are on me for the next hour.
Dex: …who?
Obi-Wan: Who what?
Dex: Who offered you for a foot photoshoot? *looks worried for some reason*
Obi-Wan: idk man some senator from the edge of the inner rim, I think- *turns corner to get to his usual booth only to find Qui-Gon and Dooku already there looking supremely annoyed about this* oh…
Dooku: Give me a name or I’ll go figure it out myself, Grandpadawan.
Qui-Gon: *hauls Obi-Wan across his lap and into the corner of the booth so he’s trapped* You keep asking why you’re not allowed out of the temple without an adult, this is it!
Obi-Wan: I am an adult, I can make my own decisions!
Qui-Gon: Absolutely not. Not allowed. Grounded. Forever.
Obi-Wan: *loud groaning and flopping all over him in protest*
Dex: *comes over to put a milkshake on the table in front of him, pats his head* It’s okay, kid, you’ve obviously got snack credits.
Obi-Wan: You’re the only one on this planet that can handle me.

the thing about Minthara/Florrick is that evil-aligned megalomaniac Minthara is the emotional one as a canonical cuddlemuffin, yearner, and feelings-catcher, whereas upstanding and virtuous Florrick is so wholly committed to a) the city and b) platonic soulmate Ulder that she's otherwise about as emotionally available as a brick, and I think that makes for a very fun dynamic in the most rancid way possible

“Jason should get over being upset about his death” - he has, he wasn’t angry at Bruce or the world because they failed him and he ended up dying, which he made clear plain as day and that’s about the most reasonable a person who went through what he went through could be
anyway I don’t think these people realize how gory being bludgeoned to near death is, and maybe it's because of the limitations of the medium that scene was presented in
