Pudding and Usopp should be friends me thinks. Usopp hears about everything that happened to Sanji on WCI and is fully prepared to hate her guts no matter what anyone says and then it’s slightly mad at himself when he actually likes her. I have a very specific image of Sanamipu bff dynamic in my head I can’t really describe but I’m having it. The type of people who think of themself as some of the more sane people in the group and sure, they get the idiot ball just a tiny bit less often when they are all together and snarking, but when they get it they slam dunk it so hard the entire court shatters.

I AGREE COMPLETELY!!!!!!!!! This would be so funny, too 😭 (Making this Sanusona as I always do) Usopp finds out about what happened back on WCI and he hates Pudding. Sanji keeps telling him to see it from a different angle. That it wasn't really Pudding's fault and she was being manipulated by her mom. That she actually helped them in the end. But Usopp doesn't like her- Not only because she did what she did, but also because he can't stand the way Sanji talks about her. Ngl, I think Usopp isn't a jealous person, but he is very insecure and Sanji being fond of the girl he almost ends up marrying makes him a bit sick. But, yeah. Final saga, they rescue Pudding, and she meets the Strawhats. Usopp is fully prepared to be her worst enemy no matter what! But- But she's actually really nice? And cute? And really, really funny? And he can't hate her. He tries to be angry at her but she's cooking sweets for everyone and even though she has this weird on-and-off personality when it comes to Sanji... She has a good heart. But Usopp keeps pretending that he hates her because he's a proud idiot and he won't admit he was wrong about her. Sanji just tells him to get his shit together already and enjoy their time together because otherwise, he'll regret it (funny that he's the one saying that as if he wasn't equally as stubborn. That frustrated Usopp more). I think Pudding would actually make amends with them, you know, since I doubt Nami and Luffy could forgive her that easily. But they end up getting along with her when she apologizes (when Sanji isn't around because if he is in front of her she'll end up yelling without wanting to). Usopp doesn't buy it. I mean- He does buy it. He just doesn't want to. So Pudding talks to him in private and explains her situation and apologizes and says she understands if he doesn't want to forgive her. She almost marries his boyfriend, after all. And she has hurt him in multiple ways. And she has broken his heart. It's understandable if Usopp wants to hate her so bad. But the guy is soft against that and Usopp believes people can change. Besides, he knows what being insecure about your appearance and status is, especially if it has to do with a parent. So they end up getting along. The same thing happens with Nami, actually. Imagine trying to forget what Pudding did to their cook. Nami is going feral cat mode against her. If looks could kill, y'know... But! But she saw with her own eyes how Pudding helped them out and she knows what it feels like. To act like somebody you're not. And yeah, okay, the girl might be a little bit insane but it could be worse. And when she's acting like a normal person, she's a sweetheart. So Usopp ends up befriending her quickly, while Nami accepts her and embraces her friendship, but not without the typical "But I swear, if you do anything remotely bad to him again I am not hesitating to electrocute you and throw you overboard. Understood? Understood. Glad we had this chat, bestie". So, uh, yeah- At least they're friends now.

And let me tell you-- It's chaotic. Sanji thought he would be devastated if they didn't get along, but now that they do... Sanji is losing his mind. They're all crazy. He's living his dream, you know. His dear Pudding is friends with his partners. Great. Yeah. Uh. Pudding is teaching Usopp how to use a revolver, which makes sense since he is a sniper and he's curious about guns. That makes sense. But she's also telling Nami manipulation tactics and the navigator couldn't be happier. And you might think that's it, but then you have Usopp showing off his abilities and Nami giving tangerines to Pudding so she can make sweets with them. Which is adorable and cute and Sanji loves every second of it, but it's like they planned this to make him go insane. His poor heart can't handle this. He's going to die. They're a menace to society. Honestly? An unstoppable trio. They manipulate, gaslight, and Sanji malewifes. If they don't like you and you have something they want they probably will steal that from you using either manipulation, burglar tactics or, you know, a gun. Perfect trio. They're also Sanji's protection squad. And also they're the ones who scold him when he doesn't behave. He's a bit scared of them but like, in a good way? And they also look after him a lot so it's alright. And besides, Sanji is kind of like their knight in shining armor too because he gets extra violent if something happens to any of them.

Isn't it just,,, Such a cute picture to imagine Sanji and Pudding cooking while Usopp and Nami work on their own things at the dining table while they keep them company? I find it cute,, They're all a bit crazy but it's fine.

(The ask at hand being: “I'm really normal about robin (<- lying) and I want to hear about her and chopper because their relationship is so important to me” from @noisypitta)

Okay, so I took my melatonin before committing to this so I apologize if I get incoherent about halfway through. I finally get to address Robin and one of the many fascinating elements of her personality and relationships. Not only Robin, but I also get to talk about the world’s bestest boy, Chopper! What a good day for me! And this analysis is going to be about self-image and what makes us monsters.

Hilariously, Chopper doesn’t have that much to his character…because he’s a child. He’s best understood through the lens of a still-developing child. He’s not old enough to commit to his insecurity in the common strawhat way (Sanji, Nami, Robin), but he’s also inexperienced enough not to understand shit like Usopp’s betrayal in Water 7. He’s yet to make a proper mistake because he’s going in completely blind. His only understanding of himself was brought on by either his dad or his adoptive mom. Up until meeting Luffy he always understood himself to be a monster, something no person in their right mind would want anything to do with. Hiriluk takes care of him cause he’s a crazy old man (who paid the price for taking care of him later) and Kureha only takes care of him out o obligation…this is a lot for a child to put up with. Hated by reindeer and people alike he can only associate with the kinds of people that even other people don’t like (i.e. crazy doctor and greedy witch). Chopper thought himself an unlovable monster and rather than being told that he wasn’t a monster, he came to meet other (worse) monsters. He joins a crew of insane monsters who embrace all that makes them strange and offputting because that's the strawhat way, and after Marineford Chopper vows to become a real monster to protect his crewmates from losing like that ever again.

Another thing to keep in mind for Chopper is his development, which is something I brought up a little bit earlier. He’s never really had a comforting parent figure, much less for very long. He’s a child who seeks validation and comfort at every turn because he’s used to violence and hatred. He’s not used to someone treating him like a child meant to be protected rather than a monster to be feared…and Robin…

Robin knows a lot about being a monster. About being hated and hunted and laughed at and being seen as nothing more than devil spawn. She has spent her childhood being chased for just being herself and learning to never fully trust anyone but herself because everyone else will just hurt her in the long run (or her past will end up hurting them). He keeps people at arm's length because she can’t trust herself not to hold everyone too close. She’s so desperate for comfort and safety that it makes her uncomfortable to be too friendly. She’s a textbook manipulator who hides behind the lies told about her because if she becomes the evil thing they call her at least it’ll stop being a lie about a helpless child. Robin is done being a child, or so she says. She’s matured with her terrible self-image and until Enies Lobby was more than willing to let her piss poor perception of herself kill her…but it didn’t. Luffy wouldn’t let her. He made her admit just how desperate she was for a real family. She’s got stupid dreams she’s willing to die for, she finds the crew's antics ridiculously charming, and she loves being both looked after and respected as a powerful member of the crew. She’s cared for in the way that she needs to be at this point which is to feel intellectually important (hands down she’s the smartest member of the crew), and valued as a strategist. She doesn’t need to be coddled, she just needs to feel like she takes up the proper space on hr crew, and she does…but for Chopper….he’s something different.

Zoro and Sanji are stubborn and bull-headed and unwilling to accept help even when it best suits them. Nami has her being more of a sister than a dotting mother, on an equal playing field in terms of trickery. Usopp’s similarly stubborn and does best by learning through his mistakes so not much she can do there. Luffy loves being cared for, but not as the unique god-child savior he is but rather as an extension of how every member of the crew should be cared for (which is to say efficiently). Chopper though is little. So little he hasn’t learned to take compliments in stride or mask his enjoyment. He doesn’t have up all the walls that Robin or Nami built to try to put everything that has happened to them into a context in which it doesn’t hurt as much rather than just admitting that it wasn’t fair and they should be mad. Chopper wants validation from his peers and attention from those he sees as more experienced…but he also wants to be cared for. Similar to Robin, he wants to be respected in his field and as a fighter, but only because that respect can be translated into cool points with older brother Zoro and dad Franky. He’s a textbook case of a little sibling who wants to feel just as important as everyone else and it’s devastating to him but adorable to everyone else. Robin doesn’t want him growing up too fast, because that’s what she had to do. The world turned her into a monster and now she sits comfortably with that title making sure to use it against them when they try to hurt her family. Chopper does the same. He knows that no one will look at him and not see a monster, but it doesn’t mean he can’t break his Hippocratic oath to kick some ass if need be.

Robin treats him like how she wishes she was treated. She hangs on every word and carries around his favorite food because she wants to give him what she never got but wanted so badly. He wants to be looked after because the world is full of stuff that he knows nothing about and he doesn’t have his dad around to wrap his wounds anymore.

Their relationship is one of the teacher and the student. Robin gets to pass on her wisdom through her terrible lived experience at the hands of people who call her a monster and Chopper gets to learn that maybe being a monster isn’t so bad if it means you get to protect the people you care about. If Robin’s a monster, maybe being a monster isn’t that bad.

Not as long as I would have liked it, let me know if you think I missed anything! I’d love to discuss them further because I love my antlered son and his bloodthirsty mom but it is now bedtime.

One Piece Chapter 1059 - Initial Thoughts

And we're back from our break

One Piece's final saga still has yet to find a destination, since we still have a tsunami of pieces outside of Wano that have yet to fall into place, the aftermath of the Reverie is still widely unknown to us so we have to further look into what happened while the Straw Hats, Law and Kid were upsetting the system.

So Caesar's gas was hallucinogenic, causing Oven and Katakuri to fight one another. I'd still back Katakuri to win that one though

Seems Marco caught up with Shanks who gave him a lift back to his island

Shanks still wanting Marco on his crew too, wonder if they gushed about Luffy or chatted about Ace during the voyage

Marco doesn't want to babysit Shanks and though Shanks refutes that Papa Beck can't back him up XD

And like, Marco you're just over half the age Whitebeard was stop using the 'I'm old' card

Wano arc may be over but we keep flashing back to Wano still

Get a bit more validation for Yamato staying, seems that Yamato is indeed staying to protect Wano from threats rather than 'touring Wano' like he told Momo, saying that to maintain his pride

In a way Yamato is still a reserve Straw Hat, but Luffy is kinda leaving Yamato in charge of Wano, which gives them both peace of mind that it'll be safe, much like Vivi and Alabasta

Sanji I'm begging you to treat Yamato like a dude

Marco announces his departure so Luffy makes sure to thank him for Marineford, Jinbe and Marco also do a bit of reminiscing before Marco tells Luffy that Ace'd be proud

More mystery surrounding Rocky Port, but it seems to have had the accidental consequence of Blackbeard ousting out 'Ochoku' and taking over Beehive. Could Ochoku be the man with flames on his face? Edit: Oh shit Ochoku was a Rocks pirate member! Coby, Law and a Rocks pirate all in one place!?

Blackbeard asks Coby his opinion on letting Boa go if she releases their men, which Boa claims she'd agree to do if they leave

But Teach doesn't buy it, he expects Boa to turn on them so he opts to kill her despite Coby's protests

AND NOW RAYLEIGH IS HERE!

Rayleigh plays the negotiator to ensure that both side's terms are met, so Blackbeard still has some fear in him for the legends

Hang up, Shakky FORMER EMPRESS OF AMAZON LILY AND FORMER CAPTAIN OF THE KUJA PIRATES???

Guess that explains how she'd know Boa would fall for Luffy, she had some first-hand experience with Rayleigh

Throws out the theory she was from Rocks, maybe? They make a point of it being two generations ago, so there's still a generation between Shakky and Boa

Telling though that Rayleigh thinks he can't beat Blackbeard though, he did ride off his own legend there

Whoa, one of the Lunarian Pacifistas looked like a kid Boa, but with star eyes

And Coby got kidnapped by Blackbeard!!!

Well shit Oda how much more can you escalate this?

Blueballing us with Sabo we instead get stuff on Boa, but I'm also curious if Marco spotted something on his way back to Sphinx, Weevil is still out there after all...

People will probably feel better about Yamato not joining with this explanation, think Oda probably added it in because of the negative impact. Still no word on Carrot though so I'm still trying to manifest that (I mean, how can Chopper be deemed by the WG both a 'pet' and a commander? It don't add up).

But then of course, information tsunami.

The new Pacifista are a problem, one which does indeed put the Navy has a powerful force in what I'd assume to be an all out war between Luffy and his enemies; from Blackbeard, Cross Guild and now the Navy there are a lot of threats at hand. The 'Seraphim' are dangerous given how Vegapunk has been able to replicate Lunarian DNA - thanks to all the King experimentations - and other warlords. One must wonder when they got the Warlord's DNA, and who they still have left? If they're able to duplicate DF powers we might even see clones of Law, Crocodile, Doflamingo and Blackbeard too, or even marines like Garp, Sengoku and the admirals! I'm not sure if they're actual children either, so they could potentially grow up or just be children to make enemies hesitate. The Hawk Eye does imply that Mihawk has some power in his eyes that improves his swordplay, but then again Blackbeard could block it with his Haki, the star eyes of the Boa Seraphim is interesting, maybe those are Doffy's eyes?

Calling them 'Seraphim' makes me worry that there are levels to the SSG too, maybe the Seraphim are just the Lunarian pacifistas, and there are other variants. Right now they don't seem to have an offensive weakness either, unless Vegapunk has hidden something in them like he did with Kuma's mission to protect the Sunny.

The times are getting tense when Rayleigh's not confident either, and this does mean that Boa may have to leave to avoid a second assault. Shakky as another empress may have intel to find a safe place for her though.

And then Coby, interesting that Blackbeard took him hostage, never seemed like that kinda guy. But maybe Teach wants to draw someone out; the marines, Garp, Shanks, Luffy? How Coby reacts is key since this is just like with Alvida all that time ago. It'll be interesting if he comes across Aokiji as well while in captivity.

We also have to remember that the WG themselves may also have tricks up their sleeve, Im is still a mystery - and Oda won't let Sabo tell us what went down with Vivi and Cobra yet - and we still don't know enough about Vegapunk or Rocks or Bonney or the other remaining ex-warlords (Weevil and Moria) or the Revolutionary Army to see what they can bring to the table to match. We don't even know if Big Mom and Kaido survived yet!

Long story short, this is getting crazy, and I don't think Oda's done

Chapter 166 - Luffy vs. Vivi

I hope Sanji coincidentally never becomes someone Mr. Zero EVER knows about. I hope Mr. Zero survives this arc, but lies on his deathbed at the end of One Piece sadly muttering the names of every single crew member Lufpy has ever had except Sanji under his dying breath.

Oh man, they’re still being chased by cops but Sanji isn’t there... them splitting up truly did serve NO purpose other than FULFILLING THE PROPHECY...

Chapter 169 - The Kingdom’s Strongest Warrior

In my opinion, it’s very unlikely that Marco will be okay with this kind of behavior. And I think he would catch on rather quickly. He has an eye for people who don’t have the best intentions at heart though act like they’re the kindest person around. There is just an aura yandere people give off he notices quite easily. So, I feel like he will make it pretty clear that he does not condone this kind of behavior from you. He’s just too old for this shit.

In the rather unlikely scenario where he doesn’t catch on to your “true” self he will find you rather cute and maybe even a little charming that you want to spend so much time just with him and him alone. First, he doesn’t notice that you try to keep him away from the crew as possible (as much as a ship allows) but after some time passed he will simply tell you that he has other obligations to do as well (after all, he’s Whitebeard’s right-hand-man).

Since you’re a pirate, it’s not surprising to him when you kill someone; that’s just part of a pirate’s life. He will, however, get suspicious when you kill someone who’s obviously not a threat to anyone. Maybe that person has talked to him before and you didn’t like it or they just looked at him the wrong way and you caught on to it but you’ll kill that person. If you try to justify that you thought they were a threat he might overlook it but if it happens again he will start to look for a pattern. He is a very observant man.

Since he’s a sociable guy, he naturally spends a lot of time with his friends and of course they will bring up the topic of you (on the rare occasion you’re not with him). First, he might think they’re jealous of him having such a beautiful girlfriend but when more than one brings it up that you’re like his shadow and that they find it a little bit odd he will, again, pay more attention to this behavior.

A big no-no for this man is if you tell people that already envisioning a future together with him, especially if you’ve just started dating. It’s red flag, not gonna lie. He want to have a family at one point but he doesn’t want to think about it while he’s still a pirate.

There will come the point where he is thinking about breaking up with you simply because he has started paying closer attention to you and he’s noticed some controversial behavior from you he just can’t accept. And when he finally realizes that you’re manipulating people around you to get what you want, it’s definitely over. He can’t have toxic people in his life. What you’re going to do after this is up to you…

Shanks

Same as Marco, Shanks will immediately notice that you’re not as innocent as you’re pretending to be. You can be as sweet and kind and generous as you like, Shanks. Will. Notice. He will be polite and he will of course notice that you have a (huge) crush on him but he will not give you any false hopes that there will be anything more between the two of you than acquaintances. He won’t be your friend, he won’t invite you on his ship. The bad feeling he has around you tells him to keep you as far away from his crew and himself as possible.

IF, however, he does not notice, he is enticed by your charm and educated manners. He likes it when women are well mannered and are to as shallow as some other people he’s met. He likes having conversations with you and he enjoys spending time simply talking. And given that the Red Hair Pirates are almost always on an island there is a lot of time to talk (and maybe fall in love).

Since it’s so easy to talk to you, he won’t immediately notice you keeping him away from his crew when you’re on land. You’re just so naturally gifted in talking that it’s hard for him to see. There will come a point, however, when he just gets up and tells you that you two should go back to the rest of the crew, much to your dismay. But it’s quite difficult to change Shanks’ mind if he’s determined. You can beg or be as convincing as you like, he will grab your hand and take you back with him.

You know that you cannot kill anyone from his crew or you’re screwed as well but you can’t help but feel so much hatred towards individual members of his crew for spending so much time with him when you can’t. So, what’s the closest thing you can do other than kill them? Stage an accident (maybe they’ll die, who knows?). If you’re skilled enough, you might even be able to convince him that it was nothing more than a terrible, terrible accident.

Same with Marco, this will work (maybe) once. If something like this happens again to another crew mate of his, and you’re close by, he will watch you (without you noticing). Shanks is, just like you, a very good actor in hiding what his true intentions are so if he is watching you carefully, you will not notice.

Shanks will probably, at some point, confront you about certain things he’s noticed over a longer period of time. For example, you trying to keep him away from the others, women on islands who he’s talked to suddenly disappearing, you telling him something different than you’ve told a crew mate…you get the gist. Of course, being a expert manipulator, you’ll talk your way out of it and if it were anyone else you might succeed but Shanks is done. Like Marco, he listens to his guts and when they tell him to get the f*ck out of there, he will.

What happens after that is up to you….

Kid

So, for Kid I can see it go either of two ways.

He won’t catch on to you being ‘different’ like the other two. Maybe because he’s too absorbed with his own goals, maybe cause he thinks someone like you couldn’t possibly harm him or his crew, I don’t know but he knows that you’re really his type. Not in the beginning though; he will just think you’re pretty but maybe a little stuck up since you’re polite, know how to talk to people and are actually quite smart. But the more he interacts with you he realizes that you’re actually pretty nice to talk to.

You’re attentive, give him what he wants (which is a huge plus for Kid) and you just make him feel comfortable. He will call you names like “princess” most of the times simply because of your mannerism. He will also use ‘pet-names’ like “woman” when he wants something from you but he knows you’ll give it to him. He definitely knows that you have a full blown crush on him and he will take advantage of it. If he actually sees you at his girlfriend is another thing but he will most definitely not tolerate you hooking up with anyone else. But that’s just perfect for you, knowing that he cares enough about you to get jealous protective plays in your cards and is really just a sign that you two are meant to be together.

You’re not too keen on him interacting with his crew but you also know that there is not much you can do about it. I mean, you can try to keep him away as much as possible from them but he is simply too focused on his goal to become the pirate king that you will keep up worth it. You’re a patient woman so you picture yourself with him at a time after he has achieved his goal, helping him in every way you can.

That’s also why you’re not too fond of the Strawhats simply cause Luffy has the same goal and you have more often than not tried to harm him in any way but it’s more difficult than you’ve thought so you keep begrudgingly thinking about different ways. Swords will definitely work.

Kid won’t notice immediately when you’re manipulating him / his crew but Killer will. And since Killer is his most trusted man he will listen to him if he tells him that there is something wrong with you/that he doesn’t trust you completely. That’s where it could go either way.

He will either drop you like a hot potato if he realizes Killer is right and you’re doing more harm to the crew and his goal than you’re worth it. He might’ve noticed you going around spreading some subtle but impactful misinformation about certain individuals with the goal of dividing his crew so Kid would give up his goal, abandon his crew and stay with you (very unlikely).

Or, he will keep you around since you’ve proven yourself to be quite useful to his goal. After all, you keep pesty pirates you encounter at bay by hurting or killing them, making it easier for him and his crew to proceed. He will tell Killer to keep an eye on you and report to him but you’ll catch on to that rather quickly, making your hatred grow for the blond male even more. In your mind, he’s the reason why Kid won’t fully commit to you. You’re thinking about getting rid of him but given his skills it is very unlikely that you’re actually able to.

In any scenario, Kid does not want to hear a single a word about “future together” or “marriage” or things that might bind him in any way. So, you have to stick to thinking those things cause in your mind you two are practically married already. After all, you love him.

Luffy

Luffy is as oblivious as can be but lucky for him does he have good friends he can trust. So, if you really love him to death you need to make sure that his friends trust you. It is easy to gain his trust but it is also pretty easy to give yourself away (?). I mean, he will trust you as long as you keep this darker side of yourself hidden. And I mean deep, deep down inside your soul and you better never let it out. Like Shanks, he can sense if you have bad intentions so first impression is key!

When you have the Strawhats’ trust, you will actually feel at home for some time until you notice that Nami is too demanding of Luffy, Zoro is too trusted by Luffy, Sanji’s food is too good and takes attention away from you, Franky has too many cool things that keep distracting Luffy, and so on. After a while, you will hate each and every one of your crewmates.

So, you’ll try and divide them. You’ve heard that Usopp left once so why shouldn’t he leave a second time? Starting with the weakest member (in your opinion) is the best start and you need to work yourself up to until you’ve turned the whole crew against each other without anyone knowing what’s going on.

To your dismay is Luffy quite charismatic and he somehow manages to keep them together. You love and hate him for that, makes you admire him even more, makes your desire to be with him even stronger.

Zoro and Nami are the first ones to mistrust you and make Luffy aware of it. If he can’t sense any bad intentions from you by this point he will brush it off and think they’re just paranoid. At this point, he’s at least told you that he likes you very much so that plays in your favor and also makes you feel butterflies. It honors you that he trusts you so much as to disregard his friends’ warnings.

This all can change if he catches you killing someone. He’s against killing people; he doesn’t see the need. So, when you kill someone for no apparent reason – even in fight! – he will talk to you. That’s also when he senses you ill intentions towards others and his whole demeanor changes. If he feels like he can’t trust you anymore, he will ask you to leave. Saying that you have a(n internal) breakdown would be an understatement. In your head, you two were as happy as can be and you can’t understand what has changed. After all, it was only for him, to further his goals of becoming the pirate king.

Trying to convince him to let you stay won’t be easy either since by that point almost all of the Strawhats will have figured out that you’re the root of the chaos that ensued before. Your mind is racing but I see no way how you can stay with them other than killing everyone and tying Luffy down so he can never leave. (Which won’t work!)

Sanji

Honestly, Sanji is the easiest to completely ignore it but you will be under constant stress because of hi “love for women” and you’ll feel exhausted….

Of course, the moment he first saw you he’s in love and given how charismatic and funny and smart and good of a cook he is you fell for him head over heels. He makes you feel special and loved and simply content – until there is another woman. And there are a lot of women in the world.

You’re always his number one but he can’t help himself and look after other women. He will never approach them like before but it still irks you to no end seeing him ogling other women. To say that you have a busy schedule “taking care” of them is an understatement. Especially since you’d much rather spend more time with Sanji and not some whores he looked at!

He loves that you tend to him and actually take care of him as well. He’s always been under the impression that he needs to take care of you but knowing that there is actually someone who looks out for him and his well-being makes him feel loved and all fuzzy inside. And at this point, even if you did something ‘weird” he’d ignore it in favor of you just having a bad day. He’ll even defend your actions.

Of course, you don’t like Nami nor Nico Robin since he looks at them in a pervy way as well but it’s way more difficult to “take care” of them than the other b*tches. So, you begrudgingly tolerate them with a smile, even making friends with them and spending time with them for the sole purpose to see if they somehow develop feelings for Sanji all of a sudden.

You keep trying to convince him to leave the ship and start a new life with you. He could open a restaurant and you could help him or take care of the kids. You can even talk about marriage with this man since he would really like to have a family some day and since he loves you he can totally picture himself being with you for the rest of his life. This makes you incredibly happy of course but he keeps telling you that he still needs to help Luffy achieve his goal. You hate Luffy. He is the one thing that keeps Sanji (and you) on this ship. But knowing how strong Luffy is there is literally no way for you to get rid of him.

Chapter title: The Skies Above the Capital

We start the chapter off with Momonosuke still struggling to produce flame clouds to hold Onigashima up, but Kaido getting beaten just means Onigashima is falling faster and faster which means time if of the essence... the he gets a flashback of when his mom sent him and Kinemon to the future:

Imagine having to tell your 8? 9? year old son that he needs to leap TWENTY years into the future so he could save your people, and forcing him to leave behind his mother and his sister, after his father just died... the more we see of Momonosuke, the more he is manifested as one of the best developed side characters of Wano for me. And speaking of well-developed side characters...

KINEMON.

OH MY GOD KINEMON.

THIS LITERALLY MADE ME SOB

Momonosuke-sama!! Think about your mother's feelings. This is the land of the samurai; when one suffers a great failure here, their life is usually forfeit. No man should question the resolve of a woman who speaks with such conviction. Nothing could be more shameful.

+ Can't you give us that chance`? I would do anything to wield my sword for you, my lord.

Kinemon is so underappreciated in this fandom, he really gave his all to protect Momonosuke while pretending to be his father, all to avenge and save him and his country for Oden. He is an amazing character.

THEN WE CUT TO LUFFY THROWING THUNDERBOLTS AT KAIDO

Literally grabbing lightning and swinging it at him

this fight is just SO GOOD and SO GOOFY, like Kaido swings at Luffy and sends him flying so Luffy

grabs onto the lightning to send himself back ??? He's so funny but also he's so smart

Then comes the hot debate of the week

So what Kaido is saying, is that Roger (who had no DF!!) conquered the seas and trumped over anyone because of his Haki, and that unless you have a strong Haki you can't wish to beat anyone. Now this has been, IMO, been taken out of context because basically

(1) We know this already. A really strong devil-fruit isn't enough to become the pirate king, and there are several fighters (Shanks, Mihawk, Garp, Zoro, Sanji etc.) who have no DF but with great Haki. This however does not mean that just because you do have a strong Haki you can defeat anyone, or that it's always Haki > DF in terms of fighting

(2) On the other hand, yes, Haki increases your chances of "conquering the seas". It was literally stated at the beginning that all the people at the top of the new world posess a great Haki ability. Basically all the topshots have haki, but not all of them have a DF because that's not necessary.

Anyways, so Kaido swings at Luffy and hits hard, but Luffy keeps holding onto him (and "giving away his position") when Kaido does this attack:

Let's talk about it. Death Destroyer, or Daitoku Myôô - At the bottom right corner it says "Another one of Buddhisms wisdom kings. He is known for besting the god of death, Enma"

What does this mean? Okay, bear with me. Kaido literally does not die, we know that. Even killing himself doesn't work, so it makes sense that this is not a coincidence. Using an attack named after a buddhist king who bested the "god of death"? Besting the god of death, besting death itself. So if Kaido were to die during this arc, it would make sense for him to die at the hands of Enma-- you know where I'm going with this but I'll stop before getting called a ZKKist. LMAO.

We'll move on before I start ranting-

This is my first time writing something like this so please take it easy on me but other then that please enjoy

Background info: - pronouns he/him -no devil fruit powers -you and usopp have been together for a couple months by now -you like to jump off of a lot of shit no matter how high sometimes you do get hurt but since you've been doing it for so long it doesn't faze you and doesn't hurt that much anymore

This will not be going in the same timeline or path as the anime/manga sorry kiddos

POV No one (author POV)

Y/n was chillin in the crows nest and then he realized that he never jumped off of it (he made it a point to jump off of everything in and on the sunny). Screaming "here I goooo" y/n jumped off onto the grassy portion of the Thousand Sunny. He tumbled and rolled as he hit the grass, then layed flat on his back. He sighed contently, but his head hurt a little and his was a bit dizzy too. Most of the straw hats (zoro was napping) ran towards the (s/t) boy frantically asking if he was ok. Luffy was the exception who went around screaming "SUGOI!" Even though y/n had been with the crew for sometime now, they couldn't seem to get used to the (h/c) boy jumping off of anything and everything he could. Poor Chopper-he had heart attacks every single time. He was always running after y/n with his little medical gear to make sure the poor boy wasn't on the verge of death.

Usopp POV

I ran up with the rest of the gang worried for my boyfriend. I got irritated with Luffy, because he just kept screaming "SUGOIIII!!! ✨✨✨" I ignored him and tried to get to y/n to see if he was ok but everyone crowded around him. They pushed me out of the circle and talked over me. I was so over it, so I yelled louder then I have ever before, "COULD YOU ALL SHUT THE FUCK UP!?! GOD I JUST WANT TO SEE IF MY DUMB BOYFRIEND IS OK!!!" The rest of the gang moved out of the way shocked at my tone. I stomp up to y/n and he smiles and waves and says "Hiiiii babyyyyy" in a kind of loopy voice. "How are you dummy?" I ask. "My head hurts some and I'm kinda dizzy" he replies. I sigh, then start talking softly "ok well bubba let's take you to choppers room and he can fix you up. Then we can spend the rest of the night cuddling. How's that sound?" Y/n tried to get up but I stopped him with my hand, and he says "yessirrrr".

Usopp then proceeds scoop up y/n and take him to Choppers room, Chopper follows them.

After Chopper gave y/n a diagnosis Usopp took him back to their shared room. Usopp then layed y/n down in bed and straddled him pouting (it ain't goin that way ya nasties 😤). Y/n looked at Usopp confused, "what's wrong my little sharpshooter?" Usopp blushed but still pouted, "You have a fucking concussion! Why? Cause your dumb ass decided to jump off the crows nest like a fuckin dare devil!" Y/n started to get a little upset, "ITS NOT LIKE I'M FUCKING DEAD! I'M STILL ALIVE AREN'T I?!" Usopp finally let his anger out, "YOU COULD BE DEAD!! YOU'RE NOT LIKE LUFFY OR ZORO OR SANJI!! THOSE GUYS ARE SUPER CRAZY POWERFUL MONSTERS!! THERE'S ONLY ONE OF YOU! WHAT IF ONE TIME IT'S WORSE THEN A CONCUSSION" Y/n felt insulted that Usopp had tried to compare his strength to those three. He screamed, "FUCK YOU I MAY NOT BE AS STRONG, BUT I CAN HELP AND DO THINGS THEY CANT!! I CAN HANDLE MYSELF!! DON'T THROW YOUR INSECURITIES ON ME-JUST CAUSE YOU'RE WEAK DOESN'T MEAN I AM!"..."I GET IT... I know, I'm weak. I know that when it comes down to it I can't even protect you... I mean look at you... you're hurt and I can't even help... I can't do anything to make sure you're ok y/n..." Usopp had tears in his eyes. As he turned away to get up y/n grabbed his wrist and pulled him into a hug. "Whatcha talking bout silly? You've saved me so many times with your amazing sniper skills. I'm sorry about the insecurities thing, I lashed out, and that wasn't ok. But remember no matter what, you'll always be my Sogeking" y/n gave a warm smile. Usopp smiled back "I'm sorry for yelling at you. Just don't scare me like that anymore please?" Y/n nodded "got it boss" Usopp kissed y/n's cheek. "Now my lovely first mate, as per the doctors orders-you need to stay in bed." Y/n laughed "nahhh I'm fineeee". Usopp shakes his head, "if you don't I'll tell Nami and Chopper and they'll give you more then a concussion" Y/n sweat dropped "jeez Sogeking is scary sometimes".

So like, they kind of have a hard time, because it was first love, how would the Straw Hats react to that?

Part One - Part Two - Part Three

-Ah, Young Love, how terrible. For reference, the song Bust Your Kneecaps by Pomplomoose comes to mind.

-Luffy is upset that his kid is unhappy, but he's never really been one for romance. He's never experienced romantic heartbreak before. He's out of depth, so I think he'd turn to his family for help. Of course, Luffy tries to cheer (Name) up via pranks, ice cream, and shopping. Anything his kid wants, Luffy will indulge.

-Zoro, on the other hand, is ready to commit crimes. He can and will assault anyone who hurts his kid. I mean that's his little pal, buddy, kiddo, and Zoro will kill for them.

-I imagine Zoro walking in on Luffy (and Nami), comforting (Name). Zoro nonchalantly ties his bandana around his head while asking, "Who did this?" Luffy explains the situation, and Zoro only grunts in reply. He then disappears for a while. No one is 100% sure what Zoro did, and no one wants to ask.

-Zoro does have a heart-to-heart with (Name) later. He wants them to know that even though he's terrible with words, Zoro loves (Name), and at least nine other people in the world love them almost as much as he does. Sometimes life gives you heartache for no reason, but they wouldn't have to suffer alone.

-Nami and Luffy are on the same page when comforting (Name). Retail Therapy is necessary. She is, of course, a little more understanding than Luffy. Nami gives (Name) her own brand of advice, which might be too harsh. She tells them that other people ain't shit, and you can't just give your heart out to anyone. Nami is a bit rough, but she means well and understands what it feels like to be betrayed by someone you're close to.

-Usopp doesn't really address it other than an awkward, "Are you doing okay?" a couple days later. He doesn't think he can say anything the others haven't already said. He doesn't mind giving them one of his spare sketchbooks or journals to get those big feelings out. Usopp probably put a short, but heartfelt note on the first page.

-Like Zoro, Sanji also wants to commit crimes for (Name) 's honor, but he has more self-control than Zoro. Sanji finds himself angry-cooking in the kitchen instead of disappearing to act on his desire for violence. He makes food full of hot peppers and chili powder. Sanji does realize that all of this won't help (Name) feel better, though. So he makes their favorite sweets and a nice homestyle dinner, especially for (Name). The rest of the crew can deal with the painfully spicy food instead.

-Sweet, sweet, emotional Chopper is also heartbroken. Chopper is teary-eyed because (Name) is crying. He can't say much that's very helpful, but Chopper is more than happy to be a little cuddle buddy. Chopper will insist on getting them water and snacks, and he'll insist on putting on some cartoons.

-Robin is the witchy wine aunt who gives excellent advice. Behind closed doors, Robin is rather murderous in her own way. She doesn't act on it, of course. Robin also won't give advice unless (Name) wants it. She'll probably tell them that she's always there for them if they want some company.

-It's a toss-up if Franky is getting emotional about this. He's very empathetic and easily cries when people he loves are upset, but he also knows that young love is tricky. Franky will make little mechanical animals for (Name) to cheer them up. He cares a lot for them and wants them to be happy but doesn't know what he's supposed to do outside of some pretty good pep talks.

-I'm not saying that Brook would curse the ex-partner, but Brook is going to curse them. Or at least haunt the ex a little bit. Granddaddy Bones is not standing for this. That's his teeny tiny little superstar, and you have some real audacity to treat them that way. Robin has to talk him down from creating a poltergeist at the ex-partner's house. He doesn't want (Name) to know how agitated he is, so he's only murderous in private.

Jinbe is very level-headed about all of this. It's a lot of Uncle Iroh's energy. He has some wise words that (Name) may not understand at the moment. Jimbe won't overstep any boundaries that may further upset (Name).

#02 - Cool

Zoro stands his ground as his enemy — finally, finally — falls unceremoniously on his back, unconscious, and Sanji thinks for a moment that the sight of Zoro — wild and victorious and ready to take on the world — looks kind of, maybe, slightly cool.

#03 - Young

Brook sees the two — dying to die for each other, the weight of their friends’ lives pulling down their shoulders — and he thinks too many people forget how young they still are.

#04 - Last

The Cook is the last person Zoro would consider lending a hand in a fight — “who would want to work together with that dumbass anyway,” he lies whenever anyone asks, and doesn’t admit that it’s because he trusts Sanji’s ability to stand his ground, wholly and fully.

#05 - Wrong

Sanji knows Zoro, like him, understands better than most — that this nakama thing isn’t just something you’d die for, but something you’d kill for, too.

#06 - Gentle

Sanji manages to catch Kitetsu before it rolls off from the deck during a storm, and in that moment, Zoro knows, from the reverent way he regards the swords in his hands, that this isn’t the first time the Cook has wielded one.

#07 - One

“Calm down, Marimo,” Sanji says with a dismissive wave of his hand when Zoro asks about the sword a few days later, “I’m not about to take your place as the ship’s swordsman; a cook doesn’t use his hands to fight, and I had a terrible teacher anyways.”

#08 - Thousand

You’re like the prince of Dumbass Kingdom, Zoro says, and it takes Sanji everything in him not to blurt out, Dumbass Kingdom sounds about right; wait ‘till you see the fucking king.

#10 - Learn

Watching Sanji converse fluently with a couple of tourists in a Northern language, Zoro wonders when he will ever stop learning something new about Sanji — or if he ever will, at all.

#11 - Blur

When Zoro finally comes to, the wounds from Bartholomeow Kuma is muted by Chopper’s medicine, a dull throb at the back of his consciousness; but the sharp pain against his heart feels raw still, visceral and razor-sharp, tucked alongside the ache of Sanji’s sacrifice.

#12 - Wait

“Wait,” he manages to croak out before Sanji flees the room, the word spilling out unbidden; he isn’t quite sure why, but he knows that he wants the Cook to stay.

#13 - Change

“Have some fucking decency ,” Sanji yells, throwing a shirt at Zoro’s direction; the brute has been walking around the ship bare-chested like an eyesore ever since they entered the summer island, and Sanji is just trying to do everyone a favor — and definitely not because there’s a different kind of heat pooling at the pit of his stomach.

#14 - Command

Robin watches the two in amusement — Zoro could have easily refused to be Sanji’s pack mule, and she can hear him grumbling about it still; and yet, here they are, once again, together at the island’s marketplace.

#15 - Hold

Sanji is rough around the edges, bristling at the slightest touch; Zoro knows he needs to be gentle, but he doesn’t quite remember the last time he held something that isn’t a hilt of a sword, without meaning to hurt . It’s a learning curve.

#16 - Need

Sanji knows Zoro is a dumbass, but it takes a special kind of stupid to think he would never be good enough for Sanji, when he’s all that Sanji has ever needed.

#17 - Vision

Zoro never regrets losing his eye, but he wishes, sometimes, he could still take in the sight of Sanji with an unimpaired vision, just to see more of him.

#18 - Attention

“You’re starting a fight, Marimo?” Sanji growls, voice low and dangerous, and Zoro thinks, yes, yes, anything to get you to look at me.

#19 - Soul

He loves the kid like a brother, but sometimes Zoro hates how Luffy can easily see past his gruff words and feigned ignorance; the way Luffy only needs to take one look at him to guess, “you’re worried about Sanji, aren’t you?”

#20 - Picture

He carries around everyone’s bounty posters, Sanji tells himself, and tries not to think too hard about how the only one he kept in his breast pocket is Zoro’s, folded neatly against his heart.

#21 - Fool

“This is the dumbest thing you’ve ever done so far,” Sanji says when they part, lips still tingling from their earlier kiss, because Zoro’s love is fierce and consuming and Sanji knows, ever since he was just a kid with the iron mask, that he doesn’t deserve any of this.

#22 - Mad

“Don’t you ever say that kind of shit again,” Zoro snarls, slamming the wall beside Sanji’s head, his voice trembling with a kind of anger Sanji has never seen him with before — frustrated, desperate. “You’re important to me, Cook.”

#23 - Child

Grow up and cast your dreams away, Sanji tells himself every day, the voice ringing in his ears; you stopped being a child deserving of a dream the moment you chained Zeff down to the ground.

#24 - Now

Grow up and cast your dreams away, Sanji wants to tell himself, but the voice stutters, drowned out by the sight of the kid bleeding on the deck of Baratie — he’s a swordsman, too, acknowledged by none other than Dracule Mihawk himself — but a kid still, throwing himself headfirst towards the case of his dreams, steps unweighted by regrets.

#25 - Shadow

Zoro doesn’t know which is worse — Sanji, forever running away from the shadow his brothers cast; or Zoro, chasing after someone who is no longer around to leave behind a shadow anymore.

#26 - Goodbye

After Whole Cake Island, there’s a period of time where Zoro would follow Sanji around the ship like a lost puppy, unwilling to let the Cook out of his sight; Usopp definitely didn’t expect Zoro to have such a cute side, and crouches over his new invention to hide his smile.

#27 - Hide

“We’re not doing that here,” Sanji hisses, and forces himself not to laugh at the pout on Zoro’s face; the galley might be secluded enough, but they’re still on the enemy ship’s galley.

#28 - Fortune

It is annoying, the way Sanji keeps reminding Zoro that he could have collected Mihawk’s bounty and lived the rest of his life in wealth; especially when Zoro would trade any riches in the world just to stay by the Cook’s side.

#29 - Safe

It catches Zoro off guard when Sanji starts talking about his mother; it’s a short anecdote, a single happy memory, but Zoro can tell by the way Sanji tells it — guarded and hesitant, like he wants to keep the words close and safe — that he has never shared it with anyone else before.

#30 - Ghost

Usopp starts shaking like a leaf as soon as they enter the abandoned, dilapidated house, and Sanji gently tells him, sometimes the worst ghost is the one you create yourself; Zoro feels the weight of Wado on his hip, and agrees.

#31 - Book

“I don’t need this,” Zoro grumbles with a blush, pushing the book back into Nami’s hands, trying hard to ignore Nami’s laughter and the words ROMANCE FOR DUMMIES emblazoned on the book’s jacket.

#32 - Eye

Shusui sinks into the man’s stomach, all the way to the hilt, and Zoro thinks of the way Sanji curled into himself as the man landed a lucky hit on the cook’s hand. An eye for an eye.

#33 - Never

“This is my first time,” Zoro whispers, head ducking away as he feels his face flush at the admission; but Sanji’s hand rests on his cheek, encouraging, and he can feel the curve of Sanji’s smile as their lips meet and Sanji replies, “it’s mine, too.”

#34 - Sing

Luffy cheers when Zoro and Sanji comes into view, and he lets them take on the next batch of enemies; a good fight is always fun, but watching Zoro and Sanji fight is even more so — like watching a dance that only those two know the melody to.

#35 - Sudden

“What, are we supposed to be surprised?” Nami says, barely looking up from the map she’s working on; Sanji sputters, face redder than the tomatoes he served during breakfast, and Nami feels almost bad for him.

#36 - Stop

“But we — Zoro and I — how did you know?” Sanji asks, and promptly stops asking questions when he realizes the rest of the crew aren’t surprised either; who could blame them, when his and Zoro’s sexual tension can be seen from a mile away.

#37 - Time

Sanji knows they have to break apart soon, just to breathe, but right now all he cares about is to taste as much of Zoro as possible — he has waited two years for this, and it has been two years too long.

#38 - Wash

They have their fair share of fighting — and how, considering the amount of repairs Usopp has to do for Merry just from their petty fights alone — but what the crew doesn’t know is that they also have this thing, this quiet thing, just him and the Cook and a stack of dirty plates between them.

#39 - Torn

“In retrospect,” Robin observes, “dressing up our dear cook in a maid uniform would not only lower the enemy’s firepower, but also ours, considering how distracted our swordsman has clearly become.”

#40 - History

“Why do you keep him around, mister?” The kid asks, pointing at the old swordsman with three swords and an eye scar by the peer; Sanji laughs, pats the kid on the head, and says, almost wistfully — “you can say we have some history.”

#41 - Power

Sanji tugs at Zoro’s sleeve, and Zoro follows suit despite his complaints — Sanji thinks, distantly, how much of an honor it is, to have so much control over such a powerful man.

#42 - Bother

“I didn’t have enough time to make this three-tier ice cream cake for our lovely Nami-san and Robin-chan because you distracted me!” Sanji says with a hard jab of a finger against Zoro’s chest, and Zoro thinks, good .

#43 - God

Zoro does not believe in gods, but there’s a hymn of a noise when Zoro presses his lips against the crook of Sanji’s neck, the hallelujah of the world breaking apart as their bodies move together, and he thinks, close enough .

#44 - Wall

Zoro slams his fist into the wall of Polar Tang, and is taken aback by the depth of his own frustration; he knows Luffy and the others will get Sanji back from Big Mom’s place, but it unsettles him still, the way Sanji hides himself under layers of pretenses when Zoro has bared so much of himself to the Cook in return.

#45 - Naked

“What the fuck was that for , Mosshead?!” Sanji shrieks, justifiably furious, leg raised and on fire after Zoro sliced his tray into two without preamble; Zoro can’t exactly tell the Cook he did it because he was too surprised at the sight of Sanji in a swimming trunk and nothing else.

#46 - Drive

Why Zoro , people sometimes ask, but the answer is easy to Sanji — nobody drives him crazy the way Zoro does, and is that not what true love feels like?

#47 - Harm

Zoro knows Sanji will be furious ; but as he faces Kuma, knowing at least the Cook is out of harm’s way, he knows he would do this a hundred times over, a thousand times over, a million times over.

#48 - Precious

Sanji is sitting by the corner of the infirmary, face pale with red-rimmed eyes, and Zoro thinks he’s never had that, before — people who would weep for him, knowing that he is more than dried scars and calloused skin.

#49 - Hunger

This thing we have is dangerous, Sanji tells him, but Zoro doesn’t care — he already has a craving, the same way he needs a booze when it’s been too long, except he thinks that this vice will surely kill him.

#50 - Believe

This isn’t faith; this is the truth, Zoro’s truth, the same way he knows he will become the Greatest — Sanji will find that elusive sea of his, and Zoro will stay with him until it is the last thing he can do.

Note: in this Story it can be with any one piece boy you wish for. It can be Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Ussop, Law, Sabo, Ace, Killer, Kidd, anyone you admire. anyone you like. for some charecters it maybe OOc but, I tried to make it as close to them as possible. It will be in his POV

“This is in His POV”

As the sun rays hit my eyes, I slowly open my eyes. I grunt as I rolled to the other side of the bed. I took a deep breath and as the usual morning routine I bring my wrist close to my eyes and see what is going to happen to my soulmate today. It said, “Falls down while taking a walk and takes the attention of the complete crowd”.

Most of the times it is small normal everyday life stuff. Once it was, “Studying for Test all night”, for which I felt Super proud and other time it was “Crying because messed the exam”, on that day I was also sad because they were crying and did hard work. Once it was “being called names” and other time was, “Moving away from that place”. Not gonna lie, I was furious because they had to go through bullying.

Most of my mood depends on how my soulmate is doing that day. If I see that they are happy and cosy, I feel happy. If they are sad because of someone, I get super angry. If they are depressed, I feel sad. But yes… I fell in love with them without even noticing. I know neither their name nor face. But I do know one thing for sure. I got one hell of a person. They are amazing and I’d love them no matter what. I’m pretty sure they also like me. Because sometimes I read that they were depressed and crying because of the injuries and problems I was having. Well they could also read what was happening to me because it’s how the world is. In those times I do feel relieved and happy because they do care about me and my heart fills with that fuzzy feeling.

I let out a chuckle as I read todays happening. I know it’s wrong to laugh when someone falls down but… I couldn’t help it. “So adorable”, I say to myself as I looked at my wrist and kiss the sentence. Then I lazily woke up from the bed and continued my routine for the day.

After lunch my buddy asked me, “Man… you sure are smiling today. Something happened?” I nodded and said, “It’s just that my soulmate will be super embarrassed today, so I can’t help but laugh”. He chuckled and we talk about the upcoming works to do. That night I go to my bed and plop myself on it. I think about how my soulmate is as I smile and sleep.

The next day I see that, “Getting a crush on the new boy next door”…. ‘Wait what? Did I read it correctly?’ I thought to myself as I reread the sentence for at least 10 times. ‘Oh lord… Imma kill that jerk’, I say to myself.

I know that crushes don’t last long and yeah I know that my soulmate loves me but…. what the hell?! I can’t allow that! “IF I SEE THAT JERK IMMA BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF HIM”, I scream out loud making the people around me give me the weird look. I am so much pissed today that even the smallest things are pissing me off… ‘Is he that handsome?’, I thought to myself as I run my fingers through my hair. ‘Oh lord this jealousy doesn’t suit me. I hate this feeing’, I thought as I continued being moody for the rest of the day. I couldn’t sleep properly that night so I just stare at the night sky and keep thinking about them as I pout. I look at my wrist and whisper, “I am the only one for you. Get it to your head you idiot”.

I kept looking at my wrist and then I feel a slight sting on my wrist and I continued looking at it. Then I see that a new sentence was being formed. I have seen it many times but every time this happens it makes me so excited like a small baby. It is so magical. I read the new sentence on the wrist and blush hard. ‘Damn it’, I think to myself as I cover my face with my hand. I then again open my eyes and look at my wrist and read the sentence. ‘Continuing to be super happy because Soulmate is jealous’. I chuckle reading that sentence as my cheeks still remained pink. ‘So happy that Im jealous huh.. you little... tsk... still cute though.... Well at least now I know that you are smiling because of me’. I say and plop onto my sheets and close my eyes with a smile still lingering on my face.

After some days of normal peaceful happy days, with me and my soulmate being cheerful, I go to a new island with my buddies. It was a bright beautiful day. We explore the island, eat food and drink alcohol. Just like that the day was close to over and I was alone, walking in a park with the night sky beautifully lit with stars. Then I felt a slight sting on my wrist. I look at it waiting for the words to appear. Then, I see the words that I never expected but was waiting for the most to show up on my skin. I almost forget to breathe when I look at those words. My eyes wide open and heart beating faster than ever.

‘Meeting Soulmate’, was written on it. My eyes couldn’t believe what they were seeing. I take deep breaths and sit on the bench beside me. I was speechless. I was amazed by this. ‘but.. how am I going to recognise them? how are they going to react when they see me? Would they even like a person like me, who always gets into fights? who has lots of scars.. would they accept me? what if they reject me?’, insecurities build up with in my heart. ‘Or worst… what would happen if we don’t even recognise each other?’, I couldn’t keep my thoughts in control. the only thing Mattered was them. ‘I'll search for you. I'll confess to you. no matter how you look, no matter what your gender or pronouns are, I will try my best to find you’, I say to myself and run around the island. That was a sleepless night. I ran around all the places to find them. Asked many peoples if they were meeting their soulmate that day, but every single time I got the same response.

“No, I’m sorry”, said the person whom I just asked.

‘Where are you?’, I thought and continue to search for them. it was already evening, but I couldn’t find them. The complete day, I didn’t feel like stopping for even a second. But now…. I got to the same park again after running around the island. I had no luck finding them. ‘Where are you?’, I thought as I again sit on the same bench as yesterday… all alone still... ‘Did you see me but didn’t like me? Do you like someone else? If you did I’d know by now… where can I find you? Where are you?’, I placed my hand on my head and my elbow on my knees. ‘Did I not notice you even though we met?’, I thought some of the worst case scenarios as my tears began to fall down my cheek. I couldn’t help but sob silently. I was immersed in my thoughts then I saw a person crouch down before me with a kerchief in their hand. “Sorry to ask this when you are crying but, are you by any chance looking for your soulmate?”, they asked. I.. I was speechless so, I just showed my wrist to them, and they smiled and showed me theirs, it said, ‘Meeting your fated in the park’.

I didn’t know what to say. It was the first time I saw those shiny bright eyes and beautiful face. That was my soulmate. They got up and wiped my tears then, they said, “I’ve been waiting to meet you for a long time.”

That moment, I lost my control. I swiftly got up and pulled them into my arms. I buried my head in the crook of their neck and nodded. I felt their arms wrap around me as they rubbed soothing circles on my back. “I love you”, I confessed as they gasped.

I continued, “I know… I don’t even know your name. But… I love you. I love every single thing about you. Your kindness, your nature, your behaviour. I love how you are passionate about small things. The way you jam to the music everyone thinks is weird. The way you still be strong even after being bullied. I admire them so much. Those little traits of yours are mesmerising.", I stop and snif, then continue, "I never saw the guy who lives next door to you but I hate him with all my heart”. Then for the first time, they let out a very adorable giggle. ‘Oh... music to my ears when you laugh’, I thought.

Then we slowly pull apart. I see that their cheeks are flushed pink which was also too cute. They slowly reach up to my hand and kiss the place where the writing was making me blush. Because.. I do that many times and now, they kisses my wrist. They look into my eyes and said, “I also love you”. this made my heart flutter with happiness.

They sat down on the bench and I too obliged. We talked about all the things that we wanted to talk about and trust me my heart was about to burst when they leaned on my shoulder and continued talking with me. Thank you for being my soulmate, Y/N.

Summary: You, Law and Zoro go to visit Franky and Robin on Christmas everyone is there including Sanji. Zoro’s and Sanji’s constant bickering annoys Law and you so the two of you hatch a plan to end it all.

There was a reason why you never invited anyone to your place and it was a good one. It wasn’t one reason though, it was two.

And the two reasons were standing right infront of you.

“Stop eating the appetizers you damn moss head!”

“For the love of god could you go bother someone else! Shitty curly ass eyebrow!”

“What did you just say!?”

Taking in a deep breath you apologetically looked at both Robin and Franky, you felt like you had brought a toddler who just wouldn’t settle down. But the older couple seemed to be happy with this since they both laughed along with Zoro and Sanji’s immature fighting. But sadly you and Law couldn’t be as cheerful, the two of you had grown tired of the constant bickering of the two at every goddamn gathering. It was embarrassing, especially since the both of them had no filter at all.

The evening continued, it was nice seeing everyone else, honestly the gathering of all your friends was the only reason you appreciated Christmas. Luffy was constantly shoving appetizers in his mouth, Usopp was talking about his new book with Franky, Robin and Nami were happily gossiping, you and Law were mingling, everything could be considered great but of course Zoro and Sanji’s constant fighting put you in a sour mood. Law placed his arm around your shoulder and pulled you close, his warmth calmed you but you couldn’t stop from sighing constantly.

“I’m sorry,” you mumbled, looking at your raven haired partner. “I’m really enjoying myself but I just can’t seem to zone them out, they’re like mosquitos constantly buzzing in my ear.”

Law glared at the two, he had no idea why but Sanji had his foot against Zoro’s face.

“I get what you mean.” he muttered. “Hey dumbass!” he shouted. Zoro flinched and turned his gaze from Sanji’s foot to him. “You promised not to do this. Again.” he hissed between clenched teeth.

You couldn’t see Law’s expression but you were positive that he was gesturing towards you with his eyes, which you had no issues with since you just wanted the mosquitos to stop quarrelling. Zoro’s eyes went between you and Law, finally he pushed Sanji’s foot away from his face and clicked his tongue in annoyance as he walked towards the two of you.

“Yeah listen to you boyfriend.” Sanji cooed as Zoro left.

At that moment both you and Law knew that there was no way Zoro was going to spend the evening with the two of you. Beet read, Zoro turned back on his heel and they resumed their shout race they had with each other. You buried your face into Law’s chest as the two of you groaned.

“Yeah there’s no way they’re going to stop anytime soon,” Law said, annoyance latched into his voice. “Maybe we could distract them or something?”

“Zoro has a one track mind, I doubt we can distract the beast after he’s been awakened…” After a moment of silence a smile spread across your lips. “But I do have an idea that might work. We might not be able to distract Zoro but we can distract Sanji.”

“With what exactly? I already share you with one man, I ain’t sharing you with another.”

You laughed at the pure seriousness of his tone.

“No not like that but we could act like the most nauseating lovesick couple ever and annoy the hell out of him.”

“Are you sure that would work?” Law questioned raising an eyebrow.

“We’ll never know until we try my sugar bear.”

Law looked at you and as soon as you made eye contact with him you both started to laugh.

“There’s no way we’re going to get through this without laughing,” Law said wiping a tear. “If you ever with all seriousness call me sugar bear I will dump you.”

“Please do so, that just felt wrong.”

But even if both of your stomachs churned each time you made kissy faces and called cute little nicknames at each other, you continued your attempt to distract Sanji. Surprisingly, you both managed to do it without breaking into a laughing fit and you could tell that Sanji was starting to get annoyed. The fact that Zoro was in a couple and he wasn’t (maybe he could find someone if he just stopped drooling over every goddamn woman he saw) just made him angry in a petty way.

Honestly you’ve never seen Sanji like this before, he usually just called Zoro names or made fun of his hygiene but this Sanji, a Sanji enraged in seeing a lovey dovey couple at every corner… it frightened you. Of course he couldn’t say anything to you so that meant he focused all that rage towards Zoro which was the exact opposite of what both you and Law wanted. They started to get more violent, more verbal and to be completely honest their behavior threatened to ruin your whole mood.

You were hoping that dinner would be the solution to everything, everyone was gathered around the table, the smell of Sanji’s cooking enticing everyone's noses and stomachs. Momentarily you saw Sanji, he was oddly calm and much like the Cheshire cat his lips were spread out in a grin. Your stomach dropped at his expression, the cook had his gaze fixated on Zoro who was sitting right next to you, calmly scooping mashed potatoes into his plate. Law was on your other side and gently you nudged him with your knee, he followed your gaze and locked his eyes on Sanji as well. Ever so faintly you could hear the tattooed doctor groan.

“Zoro, how does it feel to not be able to make your girlfriend happy?” he asked, humming. “How does it feel to need another man’s help to satisfy her?”

Your mouth fell open at his words, never could you imagine Sanji hitting Zoro below the belt like that. Quickly your eyes switched towards Zoro, if looks could kill Sanji would be dead by now, he dropped the spoon and stood up, the chair falling to the ground as he did so. Law had his hand on your leg, his thumb going in circles as he tried to soothe your nerves. Everyone was dead silent and was holding their breaths. What would Zoro do? He would fight back obviously? Sanji was still smiling at him as Zoro’s glare intensified.

Then Zoro did the unimaginable. He walked away.

That seemed to take Sanji by surprise because momentarily you could see his smug look wavering and for a short moment you could see regret. But that didn’t stop you from lashing out.

“Good job Sanji.” you spat. “Are you happy now?”

“I...I…”

Before the cook could finish his sentence you stomped away and went to find Zoro, Law followed you after excusing himself from the table. You could hear Nami scolding Sanji but you didn’t care about that right now. The only thing you cared about was Zoro, he already wasn’t the most comfortable about the relationship and Sanji had hit him right where it hurt. You searched the house for the green haired man, he was in none of the guest bedrooms, finally the two of you heard a groan and followed the angry mumbling. You saw light coming from a door that was cracked open and well behold Zoro was in the third guest bedroom.

“How did you end up here?” Law asked, genuinely curious.

Zoro flinched at the voice and turned to stare at the both of you, quickly you closed the door as you entered the spacious toilet.

“I...don’t know.” Zoro grunted, turning his gaze back to the mirror.

You noticed droplets of water dripping down his face, it was clear that he was trying to calm himself down and honestly you were impressed by his tenacity. You placed your hand gently on his back, just as you were leaning in to check on his face he pushed you back. You gasped, surprised that he pushed you away. It wasn’t a strong shove but it still took you by surprise, Law took a step forward with his eyebrow furrowed as he glared at Zoro.

“What do you think you’re doing?” he asked. “Don’t take your anger out on y/n.”

“He’s right.”

“What?” you asked, your heart braking at the tone of Zoro’s voice.

Zoro averted his eyes and as a plea for help you glanced at Law. He sighed and placed his hand on Zoro’s broad shoulder.

“Look at me.” Law said firmly, Zoro, hesitant, lifted his gaze back up to face him. “You love y/n don’t you?”

Zoro nodded.

“You love me too right?”

Zoro sighed but nodded again.

“See this isn’t about not being able to satisfy y/n, the three of us love each other. Sanji was just trying to piss you off and you know that.”

“Yeah.” you chimed in also taking a step forward. “It’s also kind of our fault since we edged him on with the lovey dovey crap.”

“Really? I haven’t noticed.”

“Yeah well, you were busy trying to choke Sanji.” Law said, an amused smile on his lips.
