Hi! I absolutely love your writing and I'm always excited to see you post! How would the skeleton bros react to a S/o who owns a bakery and is always bringing home their favorite sweets/treats for them? :) What do you think are their favorites?

Undertale Sans - When you're coming home and you park your car, you can see his head rising from one of the windows and just staring at you to see if you brought him something. He might start to be addicted a little bit. No, a lot. A lot. He's always magically behind the door when you're coming back, saying hello but also watching at the packet very intensely.

Undertale Papyrus - He starts to bring you lunch every day as a thank you. That's like your daily exchange now.

Underswap Sans - He's now addicted to sugar. He needs his sweets before going to work and if you missed one day you will just hear him stomp angrily on his way out, so mad. No sweets days are bad days lol. You better bring him twice in the evening.

Underswap Papyrus - Chances are he's going with you to work after two days and you have to watch him all the time or some of your pastries might mysteriously disappear throughout the day. Who could that be? Don't look at him, he's totally innocent (he says with chocolate all around his mouth).

Underfell Sans - He acts cool and casual about this but as soon you're out of the room he's dancing to celebrate. Don't you ever say to him you're seeing him doing that because he will flush bright tomato and lock himself in his room for all eternity.

Underfell Papyrus - He has a special closet for all your pantries and you can hear him screech every morning because Red served himself despite the three locks he put on the door. He's going gremlin style sometimes and just snatches them out of your hands and puts everything in his mouth right in front of his brother, growling like a bear. Wow.

Horrortale Sans - You can hear him long before you reach the house as he's waiting behind the door, purring like a tractor. He has some sixth sense and knows when you're coming home. Willow is using this as an alarm to start making dinner lol.

Horrortale Papyrus - He always looks like he's on the verge of crying when you give him one of your sweets. He doesn't understand what he did to have someone like you in your life. Of course, he brings you little cakes and your lunch every day as well. That's like his love language, food gifts.

Swapfell Sans - After the first few days where he stared at your food like it's poison, he starts to slowly look forward for your return to see what you brought him today. You are quick to guess his favorites as he's the worst picky eater you have ever seen, and he's just baffled you guessed (when it's really not that hard, he's in love with anything with coffee, he just thinks he's special).

Swapfell Papyrus - He wants to pay you back but... Uh... You thank him every time and give them to the ducks on your way out. It's not like you could eat his super burned cookie or you would literally lose a tooth on them. He caught you in the act once and gave you the worst betrayed look ever. Nah, kidding, he knows his cooking is horrible, he's not mad. At least he gets to watch the duckies with you.

Fellswap Gold Sans - Since he's picky, you have to find new ways to have his attention, one of them being disguising cakes into his favorite objects and looking at him getting so confused when you just land him the TV remote, looking at you like you're an idiot, before realizing it's cake and have his mind blown. He promises you won't get him next time, but it's working every time, really.

Fellswap Gold Papyrus - He's vibrating with excitement every time you're coming home and he's barely holding himself from snatching the treats out of your hand lol. He loves treats way too much. Wine always stares at you from the couch with disappointment for encouraging him (except when you're bringing him something too so he shuts up).

Hello! Our collective names are Cage/Kage/CK, though we don't mind being called Echo or Koi. We are a fan of Undertale, TMNT, SAMS, Samurai Rabbit: The Usagi Chronicles, and more! I) We collectively go by They/them, It/Its, or Neos

We write fanfic, and draw. The two current fics we're posting are 'Love You 'Til the Blood Dries and the Bones Decay' and 'The Sun Wants to Set' [currently going through a rewrite] (aha this part is outdated but theres too much we're writing to list it all)

Today I saw a post about writing the name of your blog with the first letters of song titles and that sounded fun. The rules are to do it in a new post and you’re also supposed to tag people or something but I’m not doing that.

As additional personal rules I didn't use the same source twice and only used things if I could remember at least some of what they sounded like. I did look up lists of songs I thought I'd be familiar with though (eg, looking up the Bastion soundtrack to remind myself what titles were in there). Also I decided not to use any songs starting with A or The because I didn't feel like making a call on whether they could be skipped and they didn't start with K anyway.

Round brackets (parenthesis) in the artist half of the song list indicate names of video games. For over half of them I had to look up the actual people. Also, even if it's not from the game I put it there if there's a specific game with the song in it that I strongly associate with the song.

Square brackets indicate whatever I want them to indicate.

Finding two K songs was a struggle. Like, why is the famous Flowering Knight remix called "Night of Knights / Knight of Nights" instead of the other order? I could've really used that one. My "know what it sounds like" rule blocked the use of Kairi from Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory, Knight to C Sharp from Crypt of the Necrodancer, Knight Man Stage from Megaman 6, and Killing in the Name Of from Guitar Hero 2 (yes, I know it's not "from Guitar Hero 2", but that’s why I’m familiar with it). I guess I used another Crypt of the Necrodancer song for the other K so forgetting Knight to C Sharp didn't make a difference.

Honorable mentions to "Twister" - Takeharu Ishimoto (The World Ends With You), "Setting Sail, Going Home" - Darren Korb (Bastion), and "Wellerman" - The Longest Johns. Also, earlier versions of this list included "Canon in D" - Pachabel and "Roundabout" - Yes, but I wanted to stick with somewhat shorter songs in case I felt like putting together a Youtube playlist so I could put it on and listen to the whole thing or something. I like it when individual songs don't steal the whole show. I'd consider skipping the Kirby theme song if I did put it together as well.

Somewhat amusingly, I notice that I don't know what anything sounds like in the list of the person I copied this from (notahorseindisguise). I've maybe heard New Invention once, but from that group I pretty much only listen to "Leave Me Alone" and "Do It All The Time" and I don't remember any other songs. I'd probably like others but I don't have much of a habit of actively seeking new music.

...in fact, looking over everyone else's answers in the post I linked, I think there are only 3 songs I recognize as something I've heard, total. "Dragula", "YMCA" (although not specifically as played by their pep band), and maybe "Everybody Talks" (literally the words "Everybody talks, everybody talks, everybody talks" come to mind sung a specific way, but I have no memory of what the rest is like). Also, why so many in one thread? Did I maybe misinterpret the rules when they said "Make a new post"?

I’m making it so the angels have wings that are fluffy and soft, like the softest thing in the world pretty much. They can be different colors too! Up to you what color it is -w-

Sans- Well of course he was expecting the ‘angel’ to be a nice and innocent person! That’s what he was told by those people that called him evil so he mighta believed them but then he went and met his datemate and wow they’re aggressive sometimes. They tell people what to do, use their fears against others, and is a total ass to most people; which shocks him each time but he realizes afterwards that they’re trying to get people to do the right thing, because they’re trying to help but not everyone wants the help or wants to listen. He finds it pretty funny, to be honest and will make a lot of angel puns. Like calling them his angel as a nickname, asks if they want some ‘wings’ or something like that. Speaking of wings! He’ll often get them to wrap their wings around him while he’s sleeping and he’d snuggle into them because of how damn soft they are ahhh. He loves his coconut datemate. Hard on the outside but sweet on the inside.

Papyrus- He doesn’t let anyone tell him how he should treat someone else, because he enjoys letting anyone have a bit of kindness even if afterwards they’re mean! Because anyone can change, and he believes in them. When people meet him and his datemate, they normally are shocked that the ‘angel’ is mean even though most assume they’re an angel monster or something... sometimes Y/n goes as a human, hiding their wings, because otherwise it would be dangerous for them, they say? Whatever the reason, Papyrus doesn’t mind. He dislikes how they’re mean to people sometimes, but if they explain that they’re just trying to make sure people take the right steps forward to not hurt others or themselves, he’ll understand it but it still upsets him a little! Whenever he sees them getting soft, he gets happy, and will nuzzle and cuddle them. It always gets them so flustered and he finds it so cute! Oh also if they ever lose feathers, he’s going to collect them and try to make them into something. Why not?

Blueberry- He finds their wings beautiful, and always wants to play with them and touch them because of how soft they are. Plus how his datemate gets all embarrassed while he's playing with them, is just adorable! He wishes that he could get it on camera but they dislike cameras and they make them mess up for some reason? Which is honestly a little upsetting. He understands why they're mean sometimes, and he might even learn how to stand up for himself more than he normally does and learn how to show emotions other than just being happy or mad. He tries to keep everything else bubbled up, mostly sadness because he isn't allowed to be sad. Of course he will tell them that they’re being mean if they go too far but normally he agrees with the things that they say.

Stretch- Honestly how mean and aggressive they are will throw him off for a little bit, but then he gets used to it and he loves their snarky comments and the things that they say. Almost every time it makes him laugh, because he agrees with most of the stuff that they say. Humans do suck pretty much, he knows how bad some humans are... hey, if someone resets the world does that erase their sins or do you still remember? Eh, whatever, doesn’t matter. He loves their wings a lot and whenever they have them out, he’s going to be petting them and nuzzling them a little. It’s embarrassing to admit but he really does love them and just messing with them makes him feel calmer and he’ll fall asleep after a while. It’s honestly pretty cute.

Axe- You’d look at them and think that the tall skeleton with a crack in the skull and long finger tips that are sharp enough to slice through skin easily the mean one, but nope! It’s the angel. They’ve been around for so long that they’re just done with everyone’s bullshit. The skelly is as well but he’s nicer about it. Axe loves his datemate and even if sometimes they’re a bit mean, he understands why they’re mean and knows that they’re doing it all just for other people’s good. The first time that they met they stared at him and he thought that they were judging him, but they told him that they were sorry for all the things that other people caused him to have to go through, and it shocked him a little and honestly made him a little annoyed, they didn’t have to say that they were sorry, why would they?! He couldn’t get them out of his mind though and that’s why they started to spend time together. He enjoys their wings but worries about hurting them so often he won’t touch their wings unless they tell him to then he’d be ever so gentle to not hurt his little angel.

Red- It's a little funny how you two met! He didn't think you'd be all that impressive with your dumb pretty wings and ugly beautiful face so he said something against them then they snapped back at him, with enough venom in their voice to knock him back a little and just stare. It was new and shocking, he didn't think they would act like that. The first few times of their meetings, they would just throw insults at each other, shouting all the while he was falling more and more for them. They were brave, they were strong, they were pretty, they were hot! Ugh.... it'll take a little while for him to admit it, but he really likes them. After they get together he'll ask a few questions about their 'angel powers' to see what they could do, and see if they would be able to lift him to fly, not that he wants to fly the idea of it scares him, if he's to be honest. He does want to play with their wings but never asks and just starts to do it while trying to make up excuses on why he's touching their wings. They both know what he's doing but neither of them admit to it.

Edge- No matter how they act, he is going to try his best to protect and save them from things that could harm them. If they get mad at him for it, he'll shout at them that if they were stronger the terrible Papyrus would not need to help! He only tries to help them like that because he loves them! He loves them so much and he wants to do something to help them out, even though in the back of his mind he knows that they'd be able to handle themselves. He enjoys how they react to things though, and finds how mean and 'rude' they are to certain people funny. Once he breaks down their walls, and finds out how soft and sweet they are to people that they care about? It honestly shocks him a little bit but he likes it more than he would expect himself to like it. Also their wings! They're so soft and sometimes when they curl their wings around him it'll make him fall asleep and he doesn't have nightmares and doesn't even remember falling asleep it just happens.

Lord- He understands why they are the way that they are, in a world where weaknesses are found and used to make you feel so much pain and sadness? Sometimes you have to become mean and harsh to keep away the people that would harm you. Well both he and his datemate are pretty soft on the inside, it just takes a lot to find that and knock down the walls that they've built. He's happy that he was able to knock down theirs! Of course he will be very mad with them if they're mean to his brother for no reason, Mutt is one of the few people that he would honestly want to protect. He enjoys how soft and 'pretty' they look then they act the way that they do, it makes him feel pretty good about himself. One thing he hates but loves at the same time are their wings, he'll often find their feathers and he'd have to collect them unless Y/n would do that themselves, but he also likes their wings because they're so soft and makes him feel protected when they wrap their wings around him.

Mutt- More often than not, whenever someone is mean to Mutt they have to deal with an angry angel and a pissed off smaller but scarier skeleton. He very much loves his brother and datemate, they both make him very happy to be with! He doesn't even really realize that they're mean to other people, because most of the time his mind says that they deserve it, you know? If they ever go too far he'll tell them to please calm down but if they explain what they're doing and why they're doing it? He'll agree but he wants to know everything that they're able to do! He can't believe that he has such a cool and neat and pretty and awesome datemate! Sometimes he doesn't really deserve it... at least in his mind! But we all have to agree he deserves someone that loves him and all the cuddles. Speaking of cuddles! Whenever he gets overwhelmed with things he'll try to hide in your wings, and they always make him feel better because of how soft and warm they are.

Wiseguy- The first time that he met them, he didn't speak to them, and it was mostly because he felt nervous. He was never the best at talking to other people unless he wanted something from them, but then he went and did talk to them and they were kind of harsh and aggressive, not being the nicest to him, which made it easier for him to talk to them because he could be snarky and a little mean himself but then they started to meet up more often and Wiseguy realized that they were mean just because they needed to be; they were helping people by telling them what to do and then threatening them into doing it and that shocked him. It wasn't really... something that he really expected, ya know? After they got together, he started to feel a little nervous around them because wow weren't they pretty and powerful? He often felt like he didn't deserve to be with them but they would tell him that he's an idiot for thinking like that, then kiss his cheek and that makes him so happy. He often likes to collect their feathers and make things out of them to give back as gifts. A little strange, sure but he’s a mafia member dating an angel, come on he’s seen weirder.

Bones- Often he'll get them to come into the meeting room with him and get them to sit on his lap, and tell him if anyone was lying because that's something that his datemate could do and he really does hate liars! So does Y/n. Lying is sort of a sin, ya know? Never does Bones like to judge people based off their looks, but he will admit he was expecting his datemate to be kind and very sweet and innocent, like how angels from stories he read acted but then they were aggressive, rude, and honestly a little mean but that caught his attention and he's quite happy to have a datemate like that because they can tell him the truth without feeling bad. Also they're a squishy squish on the inside and he thinks that it's the cutest thing in the world! He will draw the line if they're being mean to his brothers though, because even if they're rude at times they're still his brothers and he still very much loves them so please, don't be mean to them. Oh also also! He will get them things for their wings to make them look even more pretty.

Clip- It's something a little strange to him, if he's to be honest? They’re not exactly what he was expecting and sometimes he thought about ignoring them whenever they came around but as expected from his big dumb brain he grew attached and slowly started to like them! It was a shock to him and he did try to avoid them to try to get his mind off them to ignore the crush but then they kept coming around to see him and of course he fell for them. Ugh. He enjoys how they react to things because he doesn't have to worry about hurting their feelings or something. Another thing he likes about them, were their wings. Yeah, I know, original. He just thinks that they're very soft and he quite enjoys being able to touch them. It makes him feel calm whenever he's panicking about things and it doesn't happen too often anymore, but it still does happen. Sometimes it helps him fall asleep when the meds he has to take don't help out.

Boss- Boss doesn't care what his datemate is, if they think that they're strong enough to talk bad to him then he wants them to show that instead of just using words. If they're able to beat him, then they'll gain his respect but if they can't, he will still respect them a little bit but he still thinks they should use actions instead of words. He understands why they have to be mean though, this world is quite dangerous and will use your weaknesses against you so it's best to be mean to someone instead of them being mean to you first, you know? Whatever. He does enjoy their wings though because they can use that to get around places that they wouldn't be able to before, and he wants to know all of the powers that they have and all of the things that they could do. It's impressive and interesting, if he's to be honest. Sometimes he hates the fact that his datemate is an angel though, because it gives his brothers a lot of things to joke about.

Books- Of course he's interested! All the books that he read said that angels weren't real or weren't seen by human eyes! Oh well.. guess that's still correct, since he isn't exactly a human? That's silly. He has a lot of questions for them! What kind of powers do they have? What harms them? Can they be killed by human weapons or would it just wound them? How many other angels or demons are there? What can you do? He has many more questions but if they tell him to shut up to let them answer he'll clam up and get a little upset, if he's to be honest. He dislikes being told to shut up because he rambles about things that he enjoys and learning new things is something that he enjoys. He does love his datemate though, they're very sweet when you get to know them, and he understands why they're so mean to other people; humans aren't really the... smartest creatures, you know?

Crank- So an angel, huh? Came down to take him back, hm? Haha... yeah, he knows that he isn't anything like an angel but honestly, neither are they from all of what humans think anegls are supposed to act like. Though honestly, he doesn't think that all the angels would be soft and innocent UWU beans or whatever the hell humans think. They have to fight, they have to judge, they have to do so much stuff most likely to protect the human race and honestly? He doesn't think they deserve to be saved or protected. Eh, none of them really do though. He finds how they act pretty funny and if they're ever being mean to someone he's going to walk over and lean against their back, and press kisses against their neck or cheek to get them to get all embarrassed or shouty at him, and he laughs each and every time. Whenever he gets upset without his drugs he's going to try to hide in your wings to stay away from the world around him, because he really doesn't want to deal with everything. It's times like that when you two are closest. It means a lot to him.

Corn- Corn will be a little confused about the whole angel thing, what’s all that supposed ta be? He’s going to feel a little nervous around you, because if you’re an angel does that mean one of them are gonna die? When you tell him that no, you aren’t the grim reaper he’s gonna have to let out a sigh or relief. Even if you’re a lil rude to himself and his brother, he’s gonna try to make you feel like home as much as he can, because that’s just what they do! He loves your wings and will compare you to his favorite chickens which is a nice thing! He promises. Of course if you’re ever too mean to someone he’s going to tell you to knock it off because you’re going too far. If you use your powers to help them out on the farm, he’ll thank you but tell you no thanks, because magic can make the stuff taste different. They don’t really use their magic on the farms.

Harvest- If he's to be honest, he greatly dislikes anything mythical but only because the idea of it scares him and he never knows if they're going to be good or bad. It's scary! Also you're mean, so that just proves his point, right? Then he notices that you're mean for a reason, kind of like how he is when he shouts at his brother to get to work. Y/n is being mean to people to get them to do things that they normally wouldn't want to do. He guesses that he gets it... it's still worrying though. After a while he'll be more used to them, and he'll greatly enjoy playing with their wings! They're just so soft and he wants to nuzzle them all the time, though if they get dirty while helping out around the farm he's going to help them by washing them off even if it's a little embarrassing for him...

Nightmare- A being of pure negativity and a pure being, huh? That’s honestly a little new... he wasn’t too sure how to feel about them the first time that they met, but then how they sassed and was a little mean to him? It caught his attention, and honestly? He kind of liked it. The reason he kind of liked it was because not many people would have the guts to be mean to him like that; and no that wasn’t a pun. He keeps them around and slowly, ever so slowly, they start to gain feelings for each other and now they’re together! He would love if their wings were black but any other dark colors are nice. If they’re light in color he’s going to find it a little amusing and bring it up to tease them calling them a “lightener” or whatever he can think of at the time. Come on Nightmare, what the hell is a lightener? If anyone ever tries to be mean to his datemate, even though he knows that they can handle it, he’s going to be mean and hurt them right back. Nobody dares to mess with them or at least they fucking shouldn’t.

oh boy I cannot pick just one favourite part so here's a few faves:

the traffic jam outside the library makes me lose it every time. the way that weird musical honking starts with zero context the moment you step outside the school, and then walking over like 'what the hell is this noise' to see Undyne lifting an entire car just because she can, the whole bit somehow clicks something in my brain that immediately makes me start crying laughing

Queen showing up drunk on battery acid before Berdly's awful statue appears. every line in that scene is pure gold

the Suselle ferris wheel scene is a treasure

obviously Toriel and Sans punning at his store was extremely relevant to my interests

there's a ton of single lines and small segments that stood out to me as well but this would get real long if I listed them all jhsdgjh

...as for the Snowgrave route:

I finally watched a playthrough of it yesterday and yeah wow it's worse than UT

unfortunately I'd already heard spoilers for all the main beats of the story, but the visuals and smaller details were new to me and those caught me off-guard :'D the enemies just being frozen in their moment of death, staying in the overworld forever?? that's horrible I love it

since I'm late to the party I don't think there's much I can say that hasn't already been discussed, but I think part of what added to it being worse than UT is just how quickly everything goes to heck; UT's geno route starts slow but keeps ramping up that horrifying feeling for the rest of the game with many beloved characters going down in one hit and few bosses putting up any fight, but here, chapter 1 and the first parts of chapter 2 are just a normal fun adventure! even if you choose to fight, barely anything actually changes! and then the moment you start this route things start to go so wrong so fast, and all of it's within just half a chapter out of several. if one chapter can turn this dark in such a short span of time, how much worse can the full game get?? and how is there only one ending if you can do things like this?????

also one post I saw a few days ago (which I only glanced at before realising it was a huge spoiler and scrolled away, so no idea who posted it) pointed out that Noelle in this route seems to mirror the way Chara becomes corrupted by the geno route, and given the things Noelle says about "the enemy" and "getting stronger"? I absolutely believe it's intentional. someone who's just unwillingly along for the ride at first, eventually taking part of their own accord, having a whole thing about being in control... it all fits too well and it could be so interesting if the full game expands on that concept.

having said all that though, my opinion of it is similar to the geno route in that it has its really cool moments and I get why it's popular, but in terms what I like to draw and focus on I don't think I'll do anything with it myself. it's not a route I'll ever play personally and the the exact opposite of the type of content I enjoy creating, but I do appreciate the story it tells at least o/

Underfell Sans - Oh no, he is prisonner but he has to go to work... What could he possibly do? He goes back under the blanket and hugs his S/O tighter of course. If his boss needs him so much this morning, he can still walk to his house and begs him to move. For now, he guesses it can't hurt to sleep a little more. Like one hour or two, or five or six, or more.

Underfell Papyrus - He sighs dramatically and replaces himself with the family dog. It's obviously not as comfortable as a skeleton, but it's big and it can fool a sleepy human long enough for him to prepare before going to work. Another victory for the terrible Papyrus.

Swapfell Sans - In his dreams, he would have done like Edge. But Nox is tiny and when he tries to leave, you squeeze him harder against you, so much that Nox can't do anything to escape. He is growling and struggling in your arms, but you are too far gone to even notice it. Worst, when Rus notices he is not awake, he comes into the room and takes a picture and leaves. Nox is silently insulting him and ordering him to come back, but Rus doesn't give a shit. Nox feels so humiliating right now.

Swapfell Papyrus - Oh well. He takes a foghorn hiding under the bed and "HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONK". S/O jumps out of his skin and his brother rushes in panic in his room. When the both of them understands what happened, they both turn slowly towards Rus with a murderous look. Welp. Rus teleports to McDonald's. Bye.

oh wow that one hurt my soul. gonna cry in a corner. maybe a quick fixer upper and S/O does wake up their just a very heavy sleeper?

Eh eh eh, too angsty for you? The first part of the ask is here.

Undertale Sans - You wake up in a "grraaawha?" as Sans is shaking you like a coconut, screaming and crying at the same time. When he meets your eyes, he freezes in shock. Then he jumps in your arms and sobs louder. He got really really scared. You're confused and concerned, but ok, it's cuddling time apparently.

Undertale Papyrus - He's relieved you're awake, but he's taking you to the hospital, happy or not. It's not normal to sleep an entire day like that and maybe something is wrong? He doesn't care if you whine, he's carrying you like a princess to his car.

Underswap Sans - When you move slightly when he's kissing you, he sighs in relief and just let you sleep. Also, he turns up the heater, you are cold.

Underswap Papyrus - He was right, something was wrong. S/O actually fainted in their sleep, and he has such a deep connection he felt it immediately. He called the first aider and they took you in charge, but it seems it was just due to the flu. He will gladly help you feel better, and now he has an excuse to not go to work to watch Disney movies with you.

Underfell Sans - So, it goes exactly the same. Edge had called Undyne and told Red that S/O had passed away, then Red attacked Edge, angry. And then... S/O just came out of their room, confused about why the brothers are fighting, and both Edge and Red are shocked. "WHAT THE FUCK? YOU WERE DEAD????" Well, turns out Edge didn't actually check and assumed that since you were not moving you were dead. Red is really not happy. He told him S/O was going to have breakfast late, dammit. Everyone is confused.

Underfell Papyrus - Red teleports Edge and S/O to the hospital. Then a doctor came back and ask if this is a joke. Edge is confused until the guy explain S/O was just in a deep phase of sleep and that's why they didn't answer him. Red giggles next to him. Not only Edge feels humiliated, but Red will tease him for weeks. Midwhile, S/O wakes up at the hospital without any idea of how they came here and they're freaking out.

Horrortale Sans - When you wake up, Willow is desperately trying to explain to a very traumatised and agressive Oak that you're not dead and that he didn't kill you. Oak keeps glancing at you, sitting of the bed, half-awake, and at Willow. Willow drags you out of the bed and litterally throws you in his arms. Oak calms down. It's warm. In the next ten seconds, you're snoring against him again.

Horrortale Papyrus - You wake up in alarm because Willow is screaming??? And then when Willow sees you his scream goes suddenly high pitched as he realised you're actually not dead. "... OH." Yeah. You growls, unhappy.

Swapfell Sans - You open an eye and see Rus hugging his brother. Wow. You must still be asleep then. But then Nox just rush next to you and crush your head against his ribcage and you can't sleep anymore. Damn, it's rough dude. ... Wait, you're not sleeping? Why Rus were hugging his brother? You have so many questions right now.

Swapfell Papyrus - You wakes up at the breakfast table as Nox is poking your cheek with a fork to make sure you're not dead. When you're opening an eye, Nox shrieks and falls of his chair. Rus immediately clinges to you, still crying for some reason. Nox won't call you anything but "demonic entity" for three weeks. He's sure you're possessed and he hates this. Whatever.

Undertale Sans - Welp. Moving now would be a crime against monsterkind, humanity or whatsoever, right? And he's not a criminal. He's gives up on waking up and just falls back asleep in the next ten seconds. However, it's a dangerous game you're playing. Since you are not waking up, Papyrus comes ten minutes later and knocked the bed over, with you two in it.

Undertale Papyrus - No lazyness allow in this house. He grabs your arms, puts you on his back like a human backpack and drags you out of bed. He's dumping you in the kitchen for breakfast and he's making coffee to wake you up more. You will not fall asleep. Not on his watch. Thankfully, you're not alone in this, Sans is literally sitting next to you, face planting in the table and snoring. You're going to survive, be brave.

Underswap Sans - Easy, he takes that huge emergency tiger plush and slowly replaces himself with it. Here you go. Blue hates to stay in bed more than he has to. If he could, he would not be in a bed ever anyway. It's so boring. Though, he understands S/O needs to sleep, so he lets them in there. He will bring them breakfast later.

Underswap Papyrus - Morning cuddles? He can't reject you. He's too much of a sucker for affection and he lets you win. Please pet the skeleton. There's not enough pet. You pet Honey so much he falls back asleep with a stupid smile on the face, only to jerk awake twenty minutes later when he realise he is wait for work and escape the bed while mumbling "oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit", trying to put his clothes on. You're going to be the death of him.

Horrortale Sans - Lol, he's not waking up until you wakes up, so you don't need to get clingy. Oak is living on his S/O's schedule. Though, if you want cuddles, who is he to refuse?

Horrortale Papyrus - He's horrified. This is way too cute for him and he feels terribly helpless. If he leaves, he will feel guilty, if he doesn't leave, he will feel guilty too. Oh no. What is he supposed to do now? He t-poses, the mind entirely blank. He can't do it. He can't choose. He will just stand there awkwardly until you decide to let him go.

So, the skeletons and their S/O are in the hospital because S/O is really old now due to how short human life spans are compared to monsters. S/O passes away, but a shortly after they come back as a skeleton monster. How would the skeletons react to this?

Undertale Sans - He knows this was coming, because humans can't live forever, and he was ready to be alone again, even if it's heartbreaking. Once S/O passed away, he stayed all day and night next to them, waiting for the funeral, until he felt magic around. Ok, seeing you losing your skin is one of the most terrifying experience he had ever seen, and when you woke up, you just both scream in confusion looking at each other. Well, it's only a moment after Sans realises you're back and immediately cries in your arms, so relieved.

Undertale Papyrus - He just wanted to kiss you and then you woke up and lose all your skin. "WOWIE. WHO KNOWS YOU COULD JUST BRING BACK THE DEAD WITH A KISS, I AM TRULY EXCEPTIONNAL." Then he calls Undyne to say to cancel the funeral because S/O is awake. He stops the call when Undyne asked a big "Dude, what the actual f-". Then he brings S/O home. Everyone in the hospital is looking at them, especially the doctors who took care of S/O.

Underswap Sans - He's quite in shock. Honey prepared him for this for long weeks, but the part when you're coming back from the dead as a skeleton was not in the manual. He's not sure if it's just something supposed to happen and then you die again or if you're really back. He pokes you bones with a pen, suspiciously.

Underswap Papyrus - He knew it. He knew something was weird. When you're dead, the bond linking you to a monster disappear, and Honey is so empathic he can actually feel it break. But it didn't. So he waited, begging the doctors to wait just a little longer before taking you away. They tried to explain him nicely that he had to let go when S/O suddenly lost all their skin and sat like they had take the best nap of their life. Honey jumps in their arms immediately, so happy. The doctors are questionning their entire existence now.

Underfell Sans - Red had decided to die shortly after S/O. He can't live without them. As he was slowly falling down, S/O woke up and slapped him so hard he woke up in alarm. Wow. S/O felt his despair and refused to die just for him. Well shit, that's mean they care about him for real. Red cries like a baby now.

Underfell Papyrus - When you wake up, Edge is pissed. "WHAT THE HELL??? THAT'S ILLEGAL. YOU CAN'T COME BACK FROM THE DEAD, YOU'RE DEAD! I'M SURE IT'S CALLED NECROMANCY." Well, at least he is smiling. He will never say it, but he is so relieved you're not really dead. But don't you dare do this again. His soul can't take it twice.

Horrortale Sans - Welp, Willow is the one here when you wake up because Oak ran away in the woods, too hurt to stay. You spend several days searching him, until you feel a big thing bumping against you and purring. Oak finds you first and he's never letting you go again, don't you dare die again.

Horrortale Papyrus - Ok, so, he had a suspicions when he still felt your soul after you died. He poped it out of your chest, and surprise, it was a growing monster soul. He just let it be, a big smile on his face, vibring with excitement as you started to change into a skeleton. The second it's done, he's crying in your arms, so happy and relieved and telling you to not freak out because he is still loving you even if watching you lose all your skin was pretty gross.

Swapfell Sans - That's the most fucked up terrifying thing he had ever seen. He's in a corner of the room, shrieking, trying to hide from you. He doesn't care if you're a ghost, a demon, a zombie or whatever, you were dead, and now you're not, and it's S C A R Y. Don't you dare get close from him or he attacks. He needs several minutes to calm down and realise you're not going to eat/kill/possess him, and then he stands up and acts like nothing happened. Though, he won't get near you for several days, he's not a fool.

Swapfell Papyrus - When he sees you changing, he teleports you in a horse carriage, and then literally does the Skyrim intro. You are so confused, and he is so proud of his joke omg. You hate him so much. That's probably why you came back from the dead. Rus assumed you missed his horrible pranks too much.

You're not forced to make a Tumblr post about it to ask Tumblr users to stop writing that, this is so toxic.

You know who used to do that? The Sherlock Community lol. "you can be a valid writer only if you write Johnlock" and for a very long time I got threat comments because I didn't ship Johnlock.

I just left the community because one day I recieved a anonymous threat letter in my real life mailpost :) You know, like the actors did and this is why they quitted all social networks.

Don't ask people to not do something you don't like because it never ends well.

Art is for everyone and freedom of creation is a right.

oh hey how did I manage to actually draw? and there’s color? The skeletons, the swamp and the song bird(undertale drabble)

I am not gonna post this to Ao3 (probably) but I wanted to write something about the boys™ ( y’know San’s Red and Skull because they spark joy) and I ended up making...a swamp monster Au? hey, you know what sure. I'm chill.

So please enjoy this little drabble

Sans is half blue spotted salamander

Red is half Marine iguana

And our boy skull is an unholy amalgam of giant leeches that makes him look like he has tentacles. c:

It had been another indescribably shitty day.

You were not a pessimist but the dark circles under your eyes had something to say about your lifestyle.

It was shit, plain and simple. You had a hard time separating your real life from your work life and that lead to more stress, less sleep and a pissy boss telling you to get your act together before coming back to the venue.

A sigh left you as you sat hunched over on a stump in the forest clearing.

This was your quiet place, you came here to sing and practice routines.

You were an entertainer and it was hard not to keep your mask on, you pretended all the time to be someone...something you were not it was hard when someone asked you about yourself because you didn't know who you were off the stage anymore.

So yeah, life was kinda shit right now so you threw yourself into what you normally did when you hiked up here, into the humid underbrush of a forest no one wanted to come to, legends of creatures eating full-grown men whole and actual real dangers surrounded this place, but you didn’t much care anymore.

After all, the ones who were more dangerous were outside the forest.

Taking off a ball cap and letting your hair tumble free you wipe your brow free of sweat and kick your legs as you sit.

Most of the forest was loud, full if chattering and nattering of birds and other creatures, but this space that just dropped off into a bog, was quiet.

You liked to come here in the wee hours of the morning and watch the fog roll off the algae-green water, it made for the perfect ambience to a forlorn song or a crooning that let all your own heartbreak loose.

But today, in the evening after being told your routine was shit and you were one slip up from being let go and replaced by someone new, who you had no grievance with, but it was the principal of the matter, you had worked so hard to get to sing and perform for crowds and now….you were having it dangled above your head.

You grit your teeth and for the first time since you ever came here you let out a cry of pure frustration and rage.

The quiet never broke, even through all your angered screaming, then looking between your knees as you sat and into the murky water you buried your head in your hands and wept.

You did not know what to do! It was all too much all at once.

Still, you came back to a familiar song, even with a tearful voice.

"Green finch and linnet bird, nightingale, blackbird teach me how to sing."

You were able to get a few verses in before the sun began to Dip down below the horizon and you got up from your perch.

No point trying to navigate this quagmire in the gloom.

You took careful steps, keeping to the path you always did when something caught your attention. A pale bluish light hovering in the air, soon being joined by more close by of other colours…you spotted red as well, and a strange, almost grey-blue light. You hummed to yourself, reminded of the fact that this was a bog, and swamp gas igniting was a thing. Still, you stopped and stared, a smile playing at your lips.

"Wow, this is the most beautiful light show I have ever seen! And people say the Fen is haunted. More like hauntingly beautiful!"

You giggle to yourself and don't even notice the lights flare brighter at your statement.

You always loved the Gloom, you just never knew the gloom loved you back.

Well….you never thought it could get worse, but even after giving it your all you still ended up being fired.

So you came to the bog to say your goodbyes. You probably would have to move back into your parent’s town.

"I'm gonna miss this place, not the shitty managers, or the fights...but I always thought the locals were silly to be afraid. This place is so magical and I'm really gonna miss it…"

It was weird, saying goodbye to a place. But you somehow still ended up crying a little.

And for the first time ever in this clearing, you heard a sound.

A mournful wailing, deep like a foghorn that rattled into your very bones.

It looked like the Bog itself had seemed to shift, the top layer of Jenny green teeth giving way to the sound of mud slurping and water gushing.

You couldn't move, frozen to the spot as you watched in awed terror.

Writhing tentacles that moved like leeches and were just as black moved towards you, you figured this was it, you were dead. You sucked in a breath and screwed your eyes up tight.

You were startled as the wet appendages slowly ran over your cheek. Delicately.

You cracked open an eye and saw there in the water a skull, a giant gaping hole that looked painful gushing water as it rose, one of its eyes was devoid of light and the other…

Was a deep crimson, the colour of blood.

Yet it smiled softly, even with so many teeth.

The tentacles seemed to be coming from it and it made you cock your head to the side as it almost shyly drew closer, hauling more of its body out of the water.

Its torso was also skeletal, and it was gigantic, at least eight feet tall without including its lower half.

You thought of story's of swamp hags dragging people under and looked at this...it seemed to fit some sort of description...it definitely looked like a drowned corpse.

But as it hauled itself out of the water and you saw how it slid over to you in one fluid motion, how its bones melded into strange dark tentacles, how it's eye lit up when it reached a skeletal hand over to pat your hair.

This was surreal, strange in every sense of the word. Your voice caught in your throat as two other skulls, smaller than the first bobbed in the water, one had white pinpricks of light for eyes like the stars in the sky, the other had sharper teeth and predatory red slits for eye lights.

They shared a look and dipped under the surface, leaving you with the behemoth.

It was so strange having something so giant hold your face and look you over, play with your hair.

You finally found your voice, it wobbled despite your best efforts.

"S-sorry to bother you...I didn't know anyone lived here. Don't worry I will go."

The touching and playing stopped and it said one word that made your stomach drop and your bones freeze.

"N o."

It was soft, but full of a strange emotion you could not understand and you felt your eyes widen in shock as millions of tentacles surrounded you, even if you were to scream it would come out muffled as the world was blotted out by the writhing darkness.

The moment you were spat out from the inky prison you were on a shore...a tiny island with a cave in the center.

You were surrounded by the bog and your heart sped up when you saw the water froth and churn.

Out of the murk popped the small skeletal creature...white eyes.

He watched you curiously before sliding up onto the island. His lower body made you actually smile, he looked like some sort of blue newt from the waist down. That was it. You had to have bumped your head and were slowly bleeding out. None of this was possible.

So, since this is probably a weird dream induced by bloodless, you may as well be nice. You smile and wave to the creature who looks shocked and his skeletal face flushes a bright blue as little wisps of blue light curl around him.

He Pat's his face roughly and scampers off into the cave.

"Bye lil guy."

The next thing you know you are being tackled and you are staring up at a grinning maw full of sharp teeth and slit red eyes.

"Um...are you going to eat me?"

If you are already dying you may as well just get that question out of the way. The newt skeleton seemed harmless...but this one…

It looked more like one of those lizards that catches fish, it had sharp claws on both its skeletal and reptilian appendages. This was a predator and it could rip you apart...yet you were suprised when it laughed and started ...purring?

It was a gravely sound that you felt in your bones, but it was strangely warm.

"Heh, cute but I'm not gonna even try songbird. Skull would kill me...oh speak of the devil. Goodluck sweetness.~"

He scrambled off of you, but not before licking your cheek with a forked red tongue.

He too wandered off to the cave...it struck you that these creatures could talk, which sent your mind reeling, even as you were picked up by curling black tentacles.

You crossed your arms and looked at the creature holding you.

Skull...right?

"So...are you going to eat me?"

Skull...looked horrified. His one eye light got impossibly small and he surged out of the water, reaching out to hold you...your clothing was no doubt ruined by now and everything felt so surreal. He scooped you up and you were shocked by how warm he was.

"No. Wont. Keep you safe."

You blinked softly.

Huh.

"Can I go home?"

You were squeezed a little tighter and you realized he was bringing you to the cave.

"Keep you safe."

You were placed up high on a rocky shelf that was covered with sweet smelling moss and animal skins. tentacles retreating after softly patting your head. You blinked in the low light.

It...was a little home? The cave had three rocky pools of water and some different shelves and outcroppings. You held in your grasp of wonder as all around you little jars filled with bioluminescent blue mushrooms blinked to life in the growing gloom.

You may be dead...but you guessed there were worse places to be dead. You looked down and waved at the little newtiton and received a wink from the skelezard.

Skull was winding himself into a ball of tentacles inside the biggest pool while the other two were resting on old animal skins and warming up by a fire that crackled with the smell of roasting fish.

You sighed softly and laid down on the surprisingly soft moss.

You guessed this was fine for now.

It is not like you had anywhere to be and you were safe, unless you were already dead...plus you probably were in shock, nothing felt real right now.

Closing your eyes you heard three separate voices call out to say the same thing.

" Good night songbird"

"How long do you think she will sleep for?"

Sans stifled a yawn as he had stayed up to chat with the others.

It was no fair, he had found you first, someone singing in the early morning just for him. He had hoped to lure you with the will-o-the-wisp's into the water at first but in the end he had let you go. You were just...your song was so sad.

Mournful.

He couldn't bring himself to hurt you, and you came back. A new song each day that felt like it was just for him.

Then Red had to show up and decide he liked your singing too.

And you came once or twice at night so, skull found out too. Skull was dangerous, sans thought for sure you were dead but the behemoth seemed smitten. He liked your happy songs filled with love, your sad songs filled with loss...you sounded like you had lived all these songs.

Then you came to the fen not with a song, but with tears, with frustration and heartbreak.

And yet you had still called their home beautiful...their lights that they put up to cheer you...you called them beautiful too.

And of course it was hard to hold skull back from wanting to take you then.

"I dunno squirt. But Hell. I know she deserves some sleep...she always looks so tired. But she still hikes out here everyday."

Red growled and looked up at your sleeping form.

Their songbird was suffering all this time and they never noticed until now.

It made his instincts flare up. He had to protect you...he had to, you were too fragile to keep out of sight for long.

If he did someone else might hurt you.

You were better off here.

He may be adverse to skulls method of getting you here, but now that you were…

"So, we all agree we are keeping her?"

Sans thought it over and nodded, he may not want to share, but he was stuck in this situation now.

"...I mean...I don't want her to leave, and she is so tiny and thin. We should probably take care of her."

"Protect little bird. Needs to eat more."

Skull was already in full nesting mode with you here. It was weird to see someone so...feral become a purring kitten in your presence.

They all stopped and stared all three skulls snapping up to the shelf when you cooed out a little yawn before rolling over in your sleep.

"...too cute."

Skull was holding his face and twirling his tentacles into tight knots. He probably wanted to hold you.

"Stars, yeah we gotta keep her. I'll get her more furs for her nest tomorrow."

And now Red was gone too. His mind working on instinct to protect, provide and comfort.

Though sans was not much better. He was already trying to figure out where to catch more humans and extort them for favours so they would give him things for you.

Yes. They all looked at each other and nodded.

The songbird was theirs. The world would never harm them again.

Undertale Sans - His eyes turned black for one second, and then he become so blue he had to hide in his hoodie. Is this already proposal time ? What is he supposed to do ? No one ever teached him how to do it ! He’s so scared he teleported out of the room. You found him in the breakfast cupboard nervously eating chocapics. He is so freaking out. Maybe it’s best if you tell him it’s a joke now. It’s not the good time yet, Sans has to watch more of these stupid cheesy romantic movies of the afternoon before understand what he has to do.

Undertale Papyrus - “EXCUSE ME HUMAN ? I THINK YOU MISPELLED, I AM YOUR BOYFRIEND.” An other victory of the Great Papyrus against your bad habit of not knowing how to call him. The next morning, the fridge is covered with post-it saying “Boyfriend”, so, you know, next time you don’t get it wrong. You are welcome.

Undertale Toriel - She smiled at you to do like she didn’t heard anything but her cheeks are so red now. After sometimes, she will just laugh and said “Come on, I’m sure you can find better than an old lady like me.” You had to hug her to make her regret what she just said.

Undertale Asgore - Oh, wow. Really ? Oh well, if this is what you want. He doesn’t say nothing, but a few days after, he definitely propose to you. If you feel comfortable enough around him, what are you waiting for after all ?

Undertale Undyne - You can hear her drop her tea cup on the table. She is running to the door, then in the street, and all you can hear is a distant “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH”. Uh... You are not sure what you are supposed to do of this, but I guess it’s a reaction.

Undertale Alphys - You can hear a loud “BONK” from the living-room. Alphys fainted and fell of the sofa, nose bleeding. Look at what you’ve done. She didn’t even have time to write fanfiction, you monster !

Undertale Frisk - They are proposing to you right here right now with an onion ring. You are welcome. Now you can call them like this.

Undertale Chara - “Tss... That’s so stupid, stop toying with me.” they said, the cheeks entirely red and a stupid smile placarded on their face.

Undertale Gaster - The cookie he was eating went down the wrong way and he choked. Please, prevent him before calling him this next time. He was so not ready and now he is traumatised. But if it is what you want, he’s ok with it you know. But he is far too proud to ask first.
