I am so mad at myself. After writing in the tags "#not spn au just supernatural ok OKAY" on my supernatural au/human Steve au post. I am cursed with thinking of a cw supernatural au for human Steve au. Horrible. My fantasy mechanics work different than the show but fuck it if I'm not thinking about John Winchester sidling up to Hawkins, two boys in the back of the impala, a couple weeks after spring break of '86. Comes in cocksure and confident. It's a small town, someone had to have seen something, even if they had a witchhunt for some poor sap.
He meets the newly reinstated chief of police, (unclear why he was removed if everybody he's talked to loves the guy, calls him a hero and all that shit) and asks about the deaths. John's had a few years to work out the kinks in getting law enforcement to tell him about the weird shit that happens so he's not too worried about this Hopper guy.
He walks into the office and, well. Chief Hopper looks like shit. Sunken cheeks and sallow skin, the guy looks like he escaped prison more than anything. But. John can be polite. He introduces himself. Tries to ask some...subtle questions.
Cheif Hopper isn't taking the bait. Keeps twitching his nose, brows drawing lower and lower. At some point, he leans towards John, and there's a brief, instinctual, second of fear that runs down his spine, before the chief shrugs. Says "I've gotta make a call. I think I know who you're looking for."
John isn't asked to leave the office so he doesn't, just listens as the phone rings.
Someone answers and the cheif says "it's Hop. We've got a...visitor at the station. Figured you'd like to talk to him."
Some talking on the other end. And Cheif Hopper, who has, the entire time John has been in Hawkins, looked no more than fifteen seconds away from growling, huffs a laugh.
"seriously Harrington, I'd say you're the one with the expertise this fella's looking for"
A pause, muffled noise.
"good. Drive safe out there, kid. Oh! And might want to bring that book of yours, hm? See you soon."
The two sit in silence. John feels like he should recognize the name Harrington, he's definitely heard it before, but can't place it for the life of him. The door of the office swings open, revealing a... Teenager.
The kid wears a pastel polo, hair coiffed, highwaisted jeans, and is carrying the largest book John Winchester has ever seen.
He plops it on the desk, Cheif Hopper shuffling papers aside.
"so," he says, pushing his hair back and placing hands on his hips, "why'd you need me to bring this fucking thing here for? Besides the shady looking guy, obviously."
Well. So much for convincing the kid he's from the feds, probably. Couldn't hurt
John shrugs. "I was just asking the Cheif here if he knew anything about those deaths. I'm with the FBI, and we want to get to the bottom of it, especially if that Munson is falsely accused."
Harrington's jam hangs open. Snaps shut. He turns to the Cheif, corner of his lips tugging up. "The. The government. Wants to know about the deaths."
The Cheif nods. "That's right, son. The FBI, here in our own little Hawkins."
The kid. The kid fucking giggles. "I see why you called."
"obviously. Guy's as subtle as a train."
And. What? How'd they figure him out so quickly? Who was this Harrington kid? What was that book he brought?
"listen, buddy, I get that you think your trying to help. I do." John is being condescended to by a fucking teenager. "But we've got it all sorted. Hawkins is fine." The kid pulls out a chair from the corner and sits on it backwards, leaning forwards against the backrest. "I am curious as to what you thought the killings were, though. Vampire? Demon? I don't think anything else would really fit the descriptions in the papers..."
And. Fuck. Did this kid know he was a Hunter? "How'd you know?"
The kid smirks. "I'm Steve Harrington." He sticks his hand out, for john to shake.
It seems rude not to, considering this kid and-and the goddamn Cheif of police in this Podunk Indiana town both clocked him as soon as he crossed town lines, probably. "John Winchester. Hunter."
Steve laughs. It's cold. "Yeah. I figured. I dunno if you're new to the game, mister Winchester, but I'm surprised you didn't recognize my last name. My parents seem to be pretty famous in you circles."
Shit. Bobby has mentioned notable hunters, and the Harringtons were definitely on the list. A hereditary family of hunters going back four generations, impressive for their career choice even without their rap sheet. And John's just met their fucking kid.
"don't worry about offending them, though. I guess I'm just here to tell you to get the fuck out of Hawkins." He says it with a board expression, as though this interaction is barely
"what?"
Steve blinks at him lazily. "Hawkins is my town. I know most hunters aren't exactly...territorial, but I am. The town is under my protection, and any and all other-natural occurences are my purview."
It's then that John realizes what the Cheif was doing earlier. The odd face he made. He'd been sniffing him. A goddamn werewolf. He stiffens. This was a trap.
"it's not a trap, mr. Winchester. You're free to go. But spread the word. Hunters aren't allowed in Hawkins. Roane county, actually. If I hear about a Hunter coming into my town for anything other than a fuel top-up, they'll regret it."
John is. He's furious at this fucking child who dare to-hes just letting the beasts run amok in town and preventing anyone from doing anything about.
Harrington stands, arms crossed.
"I'd better not hear whispers about Hawkins, either. It's my town. I'll handle it." He grins. Opens the door of the office. "And, you might want to double-check that the government hasn't already been through a town with a shitty cover story already, Mr. Winchester. Might break your cover." He waves with his fingers as John spins on his heel and avoid looking at the glares he's getting for half the folks in the station.
-----
Dean checks the address on a source he was directed to by the witnesses, a one Steve Harrington. He's on a solo Hunt now, since Sammy went off to college his dad had been...tighter. he knows he's not supposed to be in Hawkins, but he's not entirely sure why. No is really sure why, honestly, but it's well known in the Hunter grapevine that Hawkins and greater Roane county is taken care of.
Except, apparently, it isn't. Hence dean being here.
He knocks on the door, which swings open immediately to a thirty-something man who was already talking before the door was fully open, obviously not expecting a stranger.
"didn't know you actually knew how to kno- Winchester." And. Well. Fuck, right? How'd this random guy know dean? The man scowls. "I spoke to your father once. Told him to stay out of my town." He crosses his arms and raises a brow. "So. Want to explain why you're here? I've already handled the whole 'accidentally bewitching people situation, if that's what your wondering."
Dean...isn't actually sure what's happening."uh."
Steve Harrington scowls again. "Fine. Come in for coffee or tea or something. Relax for a goddamn second."
So, Dean sits and let's a cup of coffee be pushed into his hands. He doesn't drink it. Steve rolls his eyes.
"I didn't poison it, promise."
Which now makes Dean think maybe it was poisoned.
"hunters, all the fuckin same" Steve mumbles. Reaches over and plucks the coffee from Dean's hands and takes a swig before sliding it back between his palms. "There. Proof. You'll be fine."
Dean drinks, watches.
Steve watches back.
He sighs. "I'm sorry, about how you grew up."
"huh?"
Steve shakes his head. "Being the child of hunters. It's difficult. Lonely. I'm sorry you went through that."
Dean shrugs. "It's not so bad. Free as a bird."
Steve hums. Sips his own coffee. "Birds have flocks, or gaggles, or whatever other funny words we use to describe groups. Hunters..." He shrugs. "Not so much. Most fly solo or in pairs. Didn't you have a younger brother?"
"how did you-"
"I may not be nomadic, but I still have ears on the ground."
"huh. He went to college."
"ah. Getting out of the life. Good for him."
And suddenly Dean needs to get out. Can't stand this stranger who thinks he knows him, the way his eyes turn down, as though he's sad for Dean of all people. No. No. He needs to leave.
Harrington follows him to the door, leans on the frame as Dean stomps to the Impala. He turns around.
"i don't know what the fuck you think you're doing here, with those monsters on the loose. My dad told me about the wolves you're protecting that're infesting this place. They aren't pets you know. You need a fucking exterminator."
Steve shakes his head. "remember Dean. No hunters in Hawkins. Safe driving."
-----
Dean cannot believe they are going back to Hawkins of all godforsaken places.
Castiel sits beside him in the passenger seat, sam surrounded by papers in the backseat and it should be pleasant, easy and comfortable. But. But they're heading to Hawkins.
As soon as the cross city limits, Castiel cocks his head, interested.
"what is it?"
"I don't...know. something is different about this town."
From the back, Sam huffs. "Yeah, it's got a rogue hunter protecting all the monsters and ghouls."
Castiel hums. "I am not so sure he protects the same creatures you hunt..."
Dean sighs. Fucking great.
Eventually, they pull up to the same house he visited all the way back in '02, and Dean is...sort of nervous. He'd been told not to come back, but really...they needed help. Information. And Steve goddamn Harrington was the best bet they had of getting it.
He rings the doorbell. When it's answered, the door swings open to a man, middle-aged with long greying hair and-shit that's Eddie Munson of Corroded Coffin. That's Eddie Munson of Corroded Coffin answering Steve Harrington's door and calling,
"Steve, sugar, you've got some... specialty guests!" He turns back to them, smiling, and Dean is trying very hard to not make a fool of himself. Tries not to tell Eddie Munson ofcorrodedcoffin that his first album changed Dean's life. He's going to stick with biting his tongue and nodding. Following Sam and Cas I to the living room, sitting down on the couch. He's fine. He's got a job to do. He's a professional.
Sexy middle-aged men have no power over him. He leans into Cas' space slightly.
Harrington walks in, pecks eddiemunsonofcorrodedcoffin on the cheek, oh god, and sits down.
Dean immediately stands up.
"could I, uh, use your washroom?"
Steve blinks up at him, but nods, gestures to a hallway. Dean strides down and through an open door with the light on. He pulls the shower curtain away, an instinct to always check his surroundings, and immediately jumps back as a seal barks at him. He slams the door shut on his way out.
"there's, um. There's a seal in your bathtub. Sorry guys."
Neither Harrington nor Eddie Munson have normal reactions to this piece of news.
Eddie Munson flings his head back and laughs, hair wild around his head.
Steve Harrington sighs and punches the bridge of his nose.
"sorry about her. I said we'd go to lover's lake for a swim later but living in Chicago with lake Superior right there is really spoiling her."
"what"
"one second. Robin!" He yells down the hall. "We have guests! Be decent!"
A few moments of Eddie Munson giggling and Dean decidedly not staring at a metal legend and Steve muttering about seals and soulmates and being impatient pass, and a woman, around the same age as Munson and Harrington most likely, walks down the hall toweling off her hair. She tossed a coat at Harrington.
"oh" this is from Cas. "You are soulmates."
The woman laughs. "Yeah. Figured that one out over twenty years ago." She settle into Harrington's side. "What can we help you with?"
Sam, who is curious but can usually figure out how to ask the questions he wants with out, say, blurting what the fuck do you mean SOULMATES or why is Eddie Munson (of Corroded Coffin) here? And can I get his autograph? It's probably the law school training.
Eddie Munson leans down, covers his mouth with a ringed hand, and whispers into Harrington's ear. Harrington turns to Peck Eddie Munson on the lips and whisper something back, rejoining listening to Sam and Cas as thought they hadn't done whatever that was. Dean grips Cas coat.
All in all, it was actually a successful trip to Hawkins, though Steve give him the same warning when they leave, with very little explanation for it.
Hunters better stay the fuck out of his town.

Thirsty Fuck it Friday 🪩
Tumblr media
Tagged by @tizniz for Thirsty Thursday and @daffi-990 for Fuck it Friday. And let me just say... go read their snippets if you haven't because 🔥🔥🔥
okay! so, two tag days, two snippets... right? a little Buddie here, a little Lutalia there. bon appetit!
from debatably (i use that so loosely lmao) sfw watch my shattered edges glisten:
Whatever Eddie thought he was going to see tonight– this was not it. He was prepared for flowing, graceful, and ethereal. For simultaneously muted and vibrant blending together in what could almost be described as an erotic ballet.   This, however– it’s loud and bold. Like being thrust into the daylight after years of darkness, or an endless storm, sending the shadows scattering.  Arsen steps out to music that begins with roughly ten seconds of synthesized horns before melting into an intense beat. He’s forgone his usual long sleeved mesh tee, wearing only a black chest harness on top. Even that’s slightly different, using a shiny patent leather instead of a matte finish. It hugs his muscles perfectly, with horizontal straps encasing his pecs and a singular vertical strap down the middle that disappears under matching booty shorts that showcase his thick thighs. Normally, Arsen seems to tease at whatever’s hiding beneath his clothes. Just enough of an outline to make Eddie wonder. Tonight there is no hinting. There’s an obvious bulge under the skin tight attire, further highlighted by the way he drags his palms up his quads and deliberately frames it with his fingers. Like he’s showing off. Strutting around like a peacock looking to prove he’s the best mate.
Buck’s music 😏
And some definitely nsfw untitled Lutalia (they are strangers at this point and Lucy hasn't given up her name):
Her right hand slips over Nat’s abdomen, past the hem of her dress until she’s grazing Nat’s inner thigh. A torturous barely there touch that sets her alight. Fuck.  How did she let herself go so long without this? How did she get so lost in the business of people dying that she denied herself the chance to live? Nat lets out a breathy whine, already just this side of desperate.  The woman nibbles her ear, chuckling darkly. “Impatient, are we?”  “Y-yeah. Yes.” Corset moans, somehow holding Nat closer. “Goddamn, what a fucking dream you are. Bet you’re all wet for me, too, aren’t you?” Nat knows she is, can feel the slickness between her legs. All she’s able to manage is a nod in response.  Corset hums appreciatively, tracing an invisible path up, up, up.  The prospect of relief is so near, Nat buzzes with excitement, eagerly anticipating the moment she’ll finally be touched the way she wants. Short nails scrape along her skin, toying with the seam of her underwear. She’s never been more grateful for being low on clean laundry and being forced to choose a thong tonight.  Except Corset pulls away then and Nat whines. A high pitched undignified thing that should leave her drowning in shame if she wasn’t so turned on.  “Don’t you worry. You’re getting what’s coming to you. Just gonna make a few adjustments first.” Corset deftly unzips the back of Nat’s dress, allowing the front to drop, exposing her breasts. Sleek leather and ribbon presses into her spine while Corset grins salaciously, rolling each nipple between her fingers. Corset’s other hand brushes over her swollen, sensitive clit through damp lacy fabric.  Nat meets her eyes in the mirror, pleading for more.  “Christ, just look at yourself, baby. Look how beautiful you are for me.” Nat does and fuck. She looks as debauched as she feels. Tits out and makeup smeared, letting a complete stranger be in control of her pleasure.

I know Buck wasn’t originally written as bisexual but looking back to season 2, you actually can interpret buck being attracted to eddie. He may even had a little crush on him. But Eddie being canonically straight didn’t show any romantic or sexual interest towards buck. I think if he was canonically gay and interested in buck and made any moves towards it, he could have had his bi awakening or realization back then and could have caught serious romantic feelings for Eddie. You can’t deny some parallels between his first meeting with eddie and with tommy. The unknown jealousy and the ranting about them. But because eddie is straight and never showed any sign of beeing into buck, his (maybe) feelings for eddie turned into an incredibly great friendship. That’s why I think his feelings for Tommy are very real and don’t have anything to do with Eddie. Tommy is canonically gay and reciprocated the feelings and attraction to buck. He was the one who made the first move and kissed buck. Buck was clearly interested in him and tried to get his attention. I do think that if tommy wasn’t interested in him and didn’t kiss him, buck still wouldn’t have figured out that he’s bisexual and his feelings towards him probably would’ve eventually turned into friendly feelings. I personally tend to hope for bucktommy rather than buddie but I wouldn’t be mad if buddie became canon. But I think the only way would be to make eddie demisexual, because there were really no signs that he likes men in any way other than his strong connection and chemistry with buck. Different from buck where you can retrospectively see many unintentional signs.
Oh yeah! I want to make it abundantly clear that I’m all in the bucktommy train 100%
I fell in love with them and I’m more in favor of them than the ship that shall not be named. I can’t stress it enough, I want bucktommy to be endgame. I’m a bucktommy slut.
I do believe you can look back and see clues that maybe buck was into eddie, whether that was intentional or not. I believe the writers accidentally queer coded him and when they noticed they decided to run with it when they got the green light from the network.
But as you said, he could have had an initial crush on a friend and that changed with time. And that is completely fine! It doesn’t mean he had been in love with him the whole time and repressing it. Of course there is the possibility that buck and eddie can be an item, if the writers decide to go that route.
That being said, as of now, there are no concrete evidence on screen that buck and eddie were/are going in that direction. Like you said, eddie hasn’t shown he’s into men/buck and if buck was into eddie since the beginning and vice versa, i believe the writers would have pushed that queer coding to the max she-ra style to force the network to get them together. There had been opportunities for the writers to not be that ambiguous.
And yes! The canon bi buck storyline is not about Eddie and it shouldn’t be even if buck and eddie are supposed to be endgame. All the signs since 07x03 (when Buck touched Tommy’s shoulder and we all got a little bit of the gay vibe) have pointed that Buck had been into tommy and mistook who he was placing the jealousy on during 07x04. It’s a classic trope and I hate that b*ddie stans conveniently forgot how misdirection works to feed into what they want (not only that, but also stating as fact). When 07x05 rolled around and we got the coming out scene, it’s clear to me that there was no intention to place bucks attraction to men on eddie or eddie also realizing he’s queer. It would have been the perfect opportunity to sprinkle in some queer eddie but there was not even a subtle hint of that in that entire scene and I honestly hope their friendship stays that way.
Not to be a bitch but, why can’t they “just” be friends? It’s so rare to have these archetypes of characters be as vulnerable and devoted to each other, without an ounce of toxic masculinity, being true friends and nothing else. I whole heartedly believe what buck and eddie have is even bigger than family or romance, they are each others rocks and defining them as brothers or “husbands” does a disservice to their relationship. I think of them more as platonic soulmates. They are others ride or die, which reminds me a lot of Marjan and Paul from lone star (they have a very similar dynamic and despite theoretically having the possibility of being a couple - as a straight woman and straight man - I don’t see them going that way ever because that’s not what their relationship is. They love each other, would literally die for each other but are not and will never see each other as potential romantic partners).
On a waaaaaaaaay lighter note: I’m excited for next episode. We are surely getting more bucktommy and I simply can’t wait to see what the writers have cooking up for this lovely ship!

omggggg YES whether you look at eddie through a demi!gaze or just a queer!gaze, the difference between he and buck is sort of obvious? (to me)
it makes sense for them to say that bi!buck has been scattered throughout the show, we’ve seen and heard hints directed at/about several other male characters. so it’s logical it’s not entirely about eddie for him and therefore his bi!arc starts with someone else
eddie on the other hand hasn’t really had ‘moments’ with other male characters? a lot of his queer!spec comes from his history and the way he is with dating, but his main interactions with other male characters are the softer more domestic scenes with he and buck. 704 proved that eddie’s friendship with other men is completely different to how he is with buck. so in my head it’s logical that for him, it is about buck, and that’s where his queer!arc starts
Yeah, here's the thing, like Oliver pointed out, there are a lot of moments of Buck having flirty moments with men who are not Eddie in the show, even if it wasn't on purpose in the beginning, like, something Oliver was consciously told to portrait, Buck does have a bisexual energy to him from the get-go, and I think it is nice for him to be able to explore that outside the person we all know is the love of his life, yk? He needs to accept that he likes men before he accepts he loves Eddie. It's kinda like the way a lot of feeling realization fics from Buck's pov have Buck fine with the idea of wanting a family with Eddie but panicking when he realizes he wants to have sex with him, he needs to accept that, especially with the way he has a bad relationship with sex overall.
But, Eddie on the other hand, he doesn't have moments with men, he has moments with Buck, I think maybe if you push a little bit, you can say he was flirting with Judd in the crossover, but like, it's been Buck since the ridiculous sexual tension in the gym during under pressure. And, like, until the show tells me I'm wrong I will exist in my "Eddie is settled into his feelings because he thinks Buck can't feel the same" because you can absolutely make an argument for Eddie to be in the "it's not his fault he can't feel the same way about me" stage of falling with your "straight" best friend, I say straight because Eddie still doesn't know, I did write a whole thing on how you can recontextualize the show to make it seem like Eddie has been semi-aware of his feelings since the lawsuit, and I know they are probably not gonna go the route that he's been aware of his feelings (rip shooting as Eddie's oh moment you will always be true to me), but the groundwork for him to be like oh! about Buck at any point is there. And Eddie is a lot more aware of his own feelings than Buck, he wouldn't need someone to kiss him to have the realization, he can have the realization in a less on-the-nose moment. And the thing with the way they have been playing Eddie and his love interests, especially with the added context on Shannon we got last season, that they were friends first and all that, you can make a really strong argument for him to be demisexual and that's why he struggles with the idea of dating, that he feels like that's a performance, and why he has weird chemistry with the woman he pushed himself into dating since Shannon died, and that can absolutely push him towards Buck. Because here's the thing, with Buck dating men, and Eddie's relationship in crisis, he could very well look at Buck and be like "oh, I wasn't aware he was an option" because of the whole struggle with attraction and the way he has such a strong relationship with Buck, and maybe wonder about what it all means, and they can tumble into the realization that maybe they could be more together. That none of them has been secretly pining, but they have such a strong thing going that there's no reason for them not to go there. It could be this natural thing. And it's right there, even more with the comment of Eddie trying to understand his place in the world. Because for Eddie is not about Buck being a man, is about Buck being his best friend, and I think Eddie as a person would need to come to terms with that and he wouldn't get that hung up on the fact that Buck's a man. So Buck can absolutely be his queer awakening. But if Buck had the realization he has feelings for Eddie, he would get hung up on the fact that he is a man if he didn't explore his bisexuality before that.
I kinda think the route we are going here is Buck processing he likes man, Eddie processing he likes Buck, Buck being like "wait men are an option, Eddie is a man, I already have most of the things I'm looking for with Eddie, maybe we can go there" and then maybe some mutual pining before they do go there.

Maybe the main issue with Buddie vs BuckTommy is that the show didn’t clean anything up prior to having Buck get into a budding relationship with a man alongside his coming out?
Because I do understand both sides, I just don’t get the hostility. Buck dating Tommy makes sense, just as much as Buck having feelings for Eddie. The difference is, BuckTommy is canon while Buddie remains a fan theory.
However, there is no denying that the current story continued to rely on Buddie “hints” leading up to Buck and Tommy’s kiss. All Buck could talk about was Eddie, and as we move into 7x06, all we’re getting is Buddie promo. I do think the wedding will establish Buck and Tommy being official, but again… the show is still using Buddie and the want that Buddie shippers have, to promote.
As a result, Buddie shippers are going to continue thinking there is something coming down the line. They’re going to continue theorizing about how Eddie will take Buck officially coming out with Tommy and so on, because that’s what’s being pushed without there being any clarification be-it in canon or in interviews of whether or not Buck and Eddie will ever acknowledge their potential feelings for each other.
Which, in my opinion the show can and should do, and Tim can and should say definitively. It wouldn’t be a spoiler, because he can just finally say Yes or No, Buck and Eddie will have that conversation. We don’t need to know the result of it until the scenes air, if yes.
I don’t know if I’m explaining myself well, but after talking about it with two other people on here, it’s where my head is at for now. Keeping Buddie up in the air while using them to promote the episodes or even as a possible red herring, is obviously going to cause drama. Because yes, now we have a canon queer ship with Buck, and that’s great. But not acknowledging everything between him and Eddie from before keeps people’s hopes up, since the Buddie stuff was never canon and the only way to clear the air is by making the jokes canon, since Buck’s sexuality has canonically changed.
So they should just answer the question, even if the answer is “No, Buck and Eddie won’t have that conversation.” and they choose to make it a joke itself. They can have someone assume they’re dating or were, and just have Buck or Eddie say “We get that a lot, but no. We’re just friends.” Because again, none of the previous Buddie things were canon, they were just jokes, but now that Buck is canonically bi and people want to know if they’ll make his biggest ship canon, the have to clean up what was left behind.
Which, maybe they will do by the s7 finale, idk. But until Buddie is answered, no one who ships them will think BuckTommy is endgame unless they make Tommy a regular recurring next season.

Mini rant.
I can't stop thinking about episode 4 of 911. The whole episode is a mess and what i read in the interview doesn't match what I saw on the screen. Tim saying that Buck realized that he was really trying to get Tommy attention and that's why he was acting like that. (I mean even Tommy doesn't really believe it and it's not shown properly on screen.) I'm pretty sure the GA was confused about this last minute choice.
If that's what they where hoping to do, why did they have to include Eddie in all of this. By having Eddie there you just made the whole thing more confusing and tbh it kind of pissed me off that they use Eddie and Buddie popularity as a crutch to start this storyline.
Yes we got Bi Buck, but knowing that this story was made for Eddie first created a whole mess. Also doesn't help that I don't enjoy Tommy as a character and I'm afraid he's there to stay until the end and we get stuck with this rush relationship that for me as no chemistry. I find them cringe together. Sorry. (Also bad first date, small cafe meet up and now a wedding date before a second date. Yeah rush)
Tbh my expectations are very low and I don't expect any hint at buddie. I kind of feel we are being played with the way they are acting. I really hope not.
Yes I want Buck to explore this new side of him. I want Eddie to have one good storyline. (I would have love to see a coming out.) And yes I want Buddie. Making bi Buck, makes me want Buddie more.
Even though I'm negative, I will always keep hoping for more Eddie and Buddie.

So I read a comment from a Buddie tiktok video that basically says that after Buck's Bi storyline, everyone agrees that Buck is Bi and Eddie is gay.
Now it got me thinking, and I know I'm most likely late in saying this as many others have realized it already. But in my defense, I stopped watching 911 after I finished Season 3 and just continued watching S4-S6 the past few weeks so I can catch up and watch Season 7.
So, I just want to point out and express what I've noticed from the past seasons (especially in S6), and what I realized after reading that comment that they've been hinting about Eddie's lack of knowledge when it comes to relationships. The 118, mostly, tells him that he lacks experience and all because he'd only really been with Shannon. Now, in Season 7, they are pointing that out again.
What I'm getting from that is that he didn't really have the opportunity to explore within himself before. He married Shannon when she got pregnant. Then his life after that just got focused on Christopher, especially after Shannon left (and most especially after she passed away).
Eddie wasn't given a chance to know who he is and what he wants and needs in life. He just assumed he's straight because he was with a woman before. When he started dating again, his mind thinks that he's only attracted to women because that's all he knows. So it never occurred to him that he could be attracted to a man.
But the thing is, none of his relationships after Shannon ever worked out for him (we all know Marisol will soon be gone). Just like what happened with Anna. That was his stable relationship after Shannon in the show. But what happened was he had a panic attack when he realized how easy and "ready-made family" they were.
But what he never realized is that with Buck, everything is also easy and they are also a "ready-made family." Hell, he even made Buck as Chris' legal guardian, and they effin' raise Chris together. They're already co-parenting. But Eddie is comfortable with all that with Buck and he accepts it and he is happy with it. You can add all the Jealous Eddie moments in there towards Buck's girlfriends before.
So yeah, what I'm saying is that yeah, Eddie could really be gay and he just never considered the possibility. Maybe he never got attracted to any man before because there was Shannon. His mind already thinks he loves Shannon and that was the right thing. And when he meets Buck, he gets attracted to him, gets attached to him, cares for him, and loves him, but the only problem is that the setting in his mind is set on him being straight and all his feelings for Buck is just because they've become best friends. So, he doesn't realize and acknowledge those feelings in a romantic way.
I think they're hinting at it more now and will approach that storyline for him (about his sexuality). Hopefully, they would and that will ultimately lead everything to Buddie. I just want them to approach it naturally if they're ever going in that direction though. Give Eddie time to realize everything and accept it and himself first (maybe even him seeing other men first and figuring himself out) before he accepts his feelings for his best friend.
Yeah, so that is all. I know I'm late to this but I just want to express my thoughts and feelings. (Yes, this means, I have no one to talk to about this other than post it here haha)

can i ask you something, do you think if they have buck and eddie wake up together at any point this season in the same bed, do you think that would be the show declaring this is the endgame. This is the story, this is canon. Even if they may not be ready whatsoever for each other at that moment?
Anon, I've wholeheartedly believed buddie were endgame since Eddie Begins. To me, 7x01 already made a pretty big hint. And I think by the time we get to 7x04 and 7x05 we're probably gonna get the next big hints (if the theories about bi buck happening in 7x04 and 7x05 are true). I think the second they make buck canonically bisexual there's no going back, buddie is for sure endgame. I don't need them waking up in bed together after the bachelor party for that to be confirmed for me, personally.
IF that does happen at the bachelor party, then yes absolutely. But I think there's likely going to be way more hints before that happens if they're really going down this route for sure.
I don't think buck/eddie waking up in bed together is necessary to solidly say the show's getting them together. There are many other ways they can do that. I personally don't believe the show is going to do anything along the lines of "hard-launching" ie. waking up in bed together or suddenly having them kiss and surprise everyone. I think at this point, if they've really decided Buck and Eddie's romance will be central to their stories going forward, then it will be a slow progression, probably filled with angst and insecurity, starts and stops, and 1 step forward, 2 steps back moments.
One thing is for sure, I am not expecting or theorizing ANYTHING physical/sexual in season 7. Even this clown has some limitations.
Whether or not this one specific scenario happens will not make or break buddie endgame, anon, don't worry. After all, if a story can only tell the audience their characters are in love is with a kiss or an implied sex scene then they're not really doing a good job of writing the romance now, are they?

911 Thoughts
Haven't watched the new episode yet, so bare with me. I have some thoughts on the recent Bi-Buck stuff and they are semi conflicting and all over the place so I am putting it all in one post.
Firstly: The show has always been queer, it had gay characters since the start. I agree that it's not just gay now.
Buck being Bi is still amazing and huge. For many reasons: the figuring it out late rep, and the fact that we have seen hints for ages, we have all been here we have all seen it, and it finally happen. 7 Seasons in.
I do think it's good for Buck to explore dating men and figuring stuff out before jumping into buddie (if we are getting buddie)
I like Tommy. I think he and Buck have a nice chemestry.
I understand why people like the Even bit, but personal pet peeve. I hate when characters do that. Like at least give me a scene where Buck gets asked if he wants to be called Evan. I don't know I hate when someone has a prefer way to be called and then another character ingores that. At least give me a scene where he asks. Like ok I can assume Buck is ok with it and maybe he asked off screen, but like let me see it.
That said, it's not nearly as annoying then when Anna full named Eddie. That shit got my nerves. It felt like it was full naming him like you would a child who is in trouble.
Speaking of which: If no buddie, can we all agree that Eddie should be single. I don't know what it is about 911 that lets them write amazing female characters and then renders them unable to write a decent one for Eddie to play off, I don't know why someone that I know can have chemestry with women (Ryan Guzman) suddenly is unable to have any in this role. But it's painful to watch. The man has moved on from his dead wife, he just likes to be single. If the writers can't have a love interest that feels like it's there for more reasons then to remind people Eddie is straight by giving him emotional scenes with women instead of just with Buck then they just fucking need to stop and keep him single.
Like I said I like Tommy, and I do not think that Buck being Bi is useless or lessen if we don't get buddie.
That said if we are not getting buddie I will forever find it a little sus that they give Buck a male love interest that is so similar to Eddie.
I still want buddie. Not just because it's a ship between two main characters, who are equal in the series, and it would be the first gay ship between main characters in the show (SIDE NOTE: I can't help but notice that despite HenRen being amazing, they are the only major romantic relationship of the show that is One Main and One Side character, and it's the gay one. Like yes 911 has always been gay but it has not always been equal) but also beacause it would be first slow burn multi season gay ship in tv history (at least in the west).
Think about it, the hets have many ships like that, multi seasons arcs, slowly showing us them falling for each other. Pam and Jim; Booth and Bones; The main ships from Parks and Recs (I don't remember the names); Amy and Jake from B99. And many many more. But with gay ships if they are both main characters (rare) it always starts in the first season they got introuduced. Or they are already together, or they get a side character. I am not saying those are lesser ships, and sometimes that is the good choice for a show but I want my gay multi season slowburn (and don't say suprenatural I am not counting that)

---
There was a warm, pleasant feeling in your stomach as you pulled into the high school parking lot. It wasn’t a feeling you ever thought you’d associate with high school, but you’d graduated a year ago, and you were here to pick up your best friend. Tonight, you and Eddie had plans. Plans that involved a few beers, a couple of joints, and would inevitably end with his face buried between your legs. You were just good friends like that.
He wasn’t there when you arrived, so you leant against the hood of your car. Eyes closed, you let the sunlight warm your face. You didn’t open them until you heard a heavy thump beside you and the entire car bounced.
“Eddie!” you admonished. “You’re gonna kill my car!”
He was sitting on the hood, grinning at you. “‘Kill’?”
“You’ll kill the suspension or whatever.” You waved a hand dismissively at him. “You know what I mean.” Shoving him off the hood, you made your way around to the driver’s side.
“Hey, um.” He cleared his throat a little awkwardly, which stopped you in your tracks. He sounded almost nervous. Eddie was never nervous around you. He’d been your best friend since middle school. “Is it cool if we stop by the woods? I have to meet a new customer.”
You raised your eyebrows at him. “Sure?” It wasn’t exactly an out-of-the-ordinary request, so why was he acting so weird? “Who’s the customer?”
Eddie didn’t answer until you were both inside the car with the doors closed. “Chrissy Cunningham.”
“Chrissy Cunningham?” You thought your eyebrows couldn’t get any higher, but there they were. “The cheerleader?” She had been the year below you at school. “…She’s hot.”
You’d never really gone in from the pageantry of cheerleading, but you could appreciate the spectacle of a bunch of hot girls doing gymnastics.
“Don’t objectify her,” Eddie protested. You snorted. “And yes, the cheerleader.”
You let out a low whistle. “What is little miss head cheerleader doing buying drugs from you?”
“I didn’t ask.”
“Do you think she’s a narc?”
Eddie chuckled a little. “No, I do not.”
He didn’t seem to have much to say about Chrissy, so the conversation shifted onto lighter topics. You needled him for a hint about the upcoming Hellfire campaign, but as always, he was tight-lipped about it. In no time, you were pulling up to trail that led to the picnic table in the woods.
Chrissy was already there when you arrived. Her head whipped around at the sound of you two approaching, but her posture relaxed a little when she saw Eddie.
“I thought you weren’t coming,” she said. She was smiling but it didn’t quite meet her eyes. Eddie walked over to the table and sat down across from her. You opted to lean against a tree, watching the scene from afar.
“There’s nothing to worry about, okay?” said Eddie. “No one ever comes out here. We’re safe. I promise.” Chrissy’s eyes flickered to you for half a second, and, finding you looking straight back at her, she quickly looked down at the table. Eddie looked over at you, and you shrugged. “She’s a friend of mine, okay? You can trust her.”
Chrissy watched as Eddie opened his lunchbox. She took a deep breath, steeling herself. “So how does this work, exactly?”
Eddie rested his face on his hand. He never could sit still. “Oh, just like any other old sale, except, uh, cash only, and for obvious reasons, no receipts.”
This wasn’t a side of Eddie you often saw. The two of you had a playfully adversarial relationship. You would insult each other and roughhouse, but at the end of the day you were still best friends. With benefits, of course.
But with Chrissy he was being exceptionally gentle. It reminded you of a time when Eddie had found you crying in your car after a group of jocks had made fun of you. You’d hated the idea of seeming weak in front of him, but he never made you feel weak. Instead, he drove you home and watched a movie with you, holding you until you felt okay again.
And over the following week he’d systematically keyed every single one of those jock’s cars. That was just his way, and you loved him for it.
You watched his face as he talked money with Chrissy. She was evidently nervous, but he was guarded too. Maybe he’d taken your suggestion about her being a narc seriously. Or maybe he didn’t like the idea of selling drugs to someone who had no idea what they were doing.
Either way, when Chrissy was startled by the sound of a squirrel running up a tree, Eddie grimaced and closed his lunchbox. Feeling a little uneasy, you walked over to the table and perched on the edge of it. You exchanged a look with Eddie.
“Hey, uh, we don’t need to do this,” he said to Chrissy. “Just give me the word and I’ll just walk away. Okay?”
“Nobody would even need to know you were ever here,” you said gently. She was clearly amped up, so you hoped having the presence of another girl would put her at ease.
“No, it’s not that, I don’t want you to go,” she said, looking down at the table again. “It’s just… Do you ever feel like you’re losing your mind?”
Eddie tilted his head, trying to catch her eye again. After a moment, she looked up at him. “Oh… You know,” he said, casually. “Just… on a daily basis.”
Chrissy looked at you then, and you shrugged. “Sure,” you said. “The world sucks. And it’s all out of our control. That’s enough to make anyone lose their mind. That’s why we self-medicate.” You tapped on the lid of Eddie’s lunchbox.
“I mean, I feel like I’m losing my mind right now. Doing a drug deal with Chrissy Cunningham, the queen of Hawkins High.” He smiled at her then, a touch of mocking in his tone, but still kind. She smiled back at him hesitantly. “You know… This isn’t the first time we’ve… um… hung out.”
You felt your stomach jolt. Eddie had never mentioned anything about Chrissy to you before. Why hadn’t he mentioned it? There was a pang of something like jealousy in your chest that you tried to quash. You looked over at Chrissy, who looked just as confused as you felt.
“No?” she said, eyebrows drawn together.
“You don’t remember?”
“I’m sorry.” She shook her head slightly. You watched Eddie. He had the hint of a smile on his face. You knew that look.
“That’s okay,” he said. Before she could respond, he grabbed at his chest and threw himself backwards onto the ground. You barely reacted – it was a display of dramatics that you were used to – but Chrissy cried out, confused. “I wouldn’t remember me either, Chrissy.” When it was clear that Eddie was unhurt, she began to laugh nervously, confusion evident on her face. “Honestly.” Eddie dusted himself off. “Do I have stuff in my hair?”
Chrissy was laughing properly now. “Yes, you urchin,” you said, beckoning him towards you. He came willingly and you plucked several leaves out of his curls.
“You don’t remember me?” he said to Chrissy, arms folded across his chest. They were both laughing. Eddie tended to have that effect on people. Or at least he did when they bothered to get to know him.
“I’m sorry,” said Chrissy, still laughing.
“Middle school, talent show.” And suddenly it came back to you too. You knew exactly what he was talking about. You had been in denial about why you wanted to watch the cheerleaders perform even though cheer was totally lame. Just like Eddie, you were a sucker for a pretty girl in a short skirt. Eddie leant his head against your knees and let you play with his hair. “You were doing this cheer thing. You know.” He moved his hands to imitate a cheer routine. “The thing you do. It was pretty cool, actually. And we were with our band.”
“Corroded Coffin!” Chrissy’s face lit up as she remembered. You had to admit you were surprised. A smile spread across your face at the excitement on both of theirs. Eddie leapt to his feet again and clapped.
“Yes, you do remember!” He pointed at her, grinning.
“Of course, with a name like that, how could I forget?”
“I don’t know. You’re a freak,” said Eddie. That drew a little laugh out of you, and he shot a wink in your direction.
“Welcome to the club,” you said.
Chrissy had a lovely smile. This wasn’t anything like the fake cheer smile that she plastered across her face every time she performed. She looked genuinely happy. It was cute.
“No, you just… You look so…”
“Different? Well, my hair was buzzed and I didn’t have these sweet old tatties yet.” Eddie pulled down the collar of his shirt to reveal one of his tattoos.
“You played guitar, right?”
“Uh-huh. Still do.”
“And you were on the drums?” she asked, turning to you.
“That’s right,” you said.
“I knew I recognised you from somewhere,” she said. “I remember thinking that your hair was awesome.”
All ability to be suave and confident went out of you with that compliment. Not that you had much to begin with. An embarrassingly girlish giggle escaped your lips, and Eddie gave you a knowing look.
“Thanks,” you said, your voice a little higher than usual.
“You should come see us,” said Eddie. “We play at the Hideout on Tuesdays. It’s pretty cool. We actually get a crowd of about… five drunks.” Chrissy laughed at that too. “It’s not exactly the Garden, but we gotta start somewhere, right?”
You looked at Chrissy. Her eyes were firmly on Eddie. Again, you had another uncomfortable twist in your belly, but this one was different. You weren’t sure if it was Chrissy or Eddie you were jealous of.
“You know, you’re not what I thought you’d be like,” said Chrissy.
“Mean and scary,” Eddie suggested, hiding his face behind his hair.
“Yeah.” Her reply was soft, barely there.
“Well, I’m not the one you need to worry about,” he said, throwing an arm over your shoulder. “This one here though, she’ll tear your face straight off.”
“Eddie,” you admonished, elbowing him in the chest. “I’m not mean to anyone who doesn’t deserve it. And I don’t think you deserve it,” you said to Chrissy.
“Besides.” Eddie leant on the table again. “I kinda thought you’d be mean and scary too.”
“Me?” Chrissy breathed.
“Terrifying. Alright, so.” He put his lunchbox back on the table. “The other good news? Flattery works with me, so 25% discount. The half, fifteen bucks.” He placed the bag on the table in front of her. You watched the happiness fade from her face just a little bit. “You’re robbing me blind here.”
Chrissy looked down at the table again. She couldn’t meet Eddie’s eyes. “Do you have anything… maybe… stronger?”
Eddie looked at you then, uncertain. You decided to step in. “What about this…” you said, leaning across the table. Chrissy’s eyes flicked to you again. “We go back to Eddie’s place, have a beer or two and a joint, and if you still feel like you need something stronger after that, well, Eddie will have his stash on hand?”
“That works for me.” You weren’t sure, but you thought you detected a hint of a blush on her cheeks.
Chrissy had biked to the woods, so you fit the bike into the back of your car as best you could and drove over to Eddie’s. The sun was starting to set as you pulled up to the trailer park. Chrissy looked around, clearly still a little nervous, but said nothing.
You watched her as Eddie fiddled with his keys. She looked as though she wanted to say something, but didn’t know how to word it.
You decided to try and help her out. “Your uncle working tonight, Eds?”
He looked at you with a grin. “Yeah, we’ve got the place to ourselves.”
“Perfect.”
Chrissy seemed a little more relaxed as she stepped through the door into the trailer. She looked out of place here. She looked around with curiosity, but not judgement.
“You live here with your uncle?” she asked.
“Yup. He works nights, so we don’t have to worry about him. Make yourselves at home.”
As Eddie disappeared into his room, you went straight for the fridge. “You want a beer?” you asked Chrissy.
“Uh, sure?” She looked a little uncertain as you grabbed three beers.
“Don’t worry,” you said as you opened a bottle and passed it to her. “What’s mine is Eddie’s. And vice versa.”
Chrissy took a tentative sip as you cracked open yours. “So… You come around here often?”
“Are you kidding? I spend more time here than I do at home. I practically live here.”
“How come?”
You hadn’t been expecting her to pry, so you shifted uncomfortably. “Oh, you know. Parents suck.” You tried to play it off like you were joking, but she didn’t seem all that convinced.
“Huh.” She was watching you with curiosity.
“What?”
“Nothing… I just…” She looked out of the window, staunchly not meeting your eyes.
You were about to probe further, but Eddie appeared, holding a bag of his own weed, rolling papers and a grinder.
“Sit, sit,” said Eddie, gesturing at the couch. You opened his beer for him and set it down on a coaster. Chrissy seated herself awkwardly – the couch was old, and sagged under the weight – and you sat down next to her. “And what were you two ladies talking about in my absence?”
“You,” you said without missing a beat. “We were just discussing what a stud you are.”
“No, we weren’t.” Chrissy giggled at that as Eddie looked at you incredulously.
“Get rolling,” you said, nudging his knee with a socked foot.
Conversation got easier. As it turned out, when Chrissy got high, she got even gigglier than usual. That was alright with you. It was a nice ego boost to have a hot girl laughing at all your jokes. When she passed you the joint, you could taste the traces of her cherry lip gloss on the end of it.
Her hair was coming down messily out of her ponytail. It suited her. She seemed relaxed. The trailer was warm, but especially where her thigh was pressed against yours.
“I gotta go take a leak,” Eddie announced suddenly, and you tossed a cushion at him, almost spilling his beer. Chrissy was holding onto your arm, giggling. “You,” he said to Chrissy. “Keep an eye on her. She’s liable to make a mess.” You flipped him off.
As soon as he had gone to the bathroom, you turned to Chrissy. “You wanna go check out his music collection?”
“Are you asking if I wanna go snoop in his room? Because the answer is yes.”
“Hell yeah.”
Chrissy got up off the couch with considerably more grace than you did. Even while high and a little tipsy, she was athletic. You were clumsy, and the weed and booze only made you clumsier. With Chrissy’s help, you managed to get to your feet without tripping over.
“Come on.” You kept one hand on her arm as you tiptoed into Eddie’s room and closed the door quietly behind you.
“He’s gonna wonder where we’re gone,” she said, and you shushed her.
“He’ll hear you,” you said, and then you devolved into giggles. You flopped down on the bed. After a moment, Chrissy followed suit.
“Where’s this music collection, then?” she asked.
“Under the bed. But don’t go digging down under there.” You grabbed her arm. “You don’t know what you’ll find.” Chrissy giggled nervously. “He’s gonna lose his mind when he realises you’re in here.”
“Why?” Her voice was soft and breathy. Here in the dim light of Eddie’s room, her eyes sparkled brighter than any star you’d ever seen. She was beautiful. Of course you already knew that, but right now, you felt it.
“Eddie’s not used to having hot girls in his room.”
She scrunched up her nose at you in confusion. “I thought you came around here all the time?”
“I don’t count,” you scoffed, looking up at the ceiling. “I’m not hot.”
“Don’t be ridiculous.” You shrugged, but Chrissy’s warm hand on your face turned you to face her. Her expression was serious now. “You really think you’re not hot?”
Your stomach twisted awkwardly. Stupidly, you felt like you might cry. The weed and the beer took away the filter between your brain and mouth. “I’m not hot like you.”
“Look at me.” Reluctantly, you rolled to face her. You were both lying on your sides, looking at each other. Her hand was still on your cheek. “You’re beautiful.”
“Chrissy…” You could almost feel your heart beating. She was close enough that you could smell her breath. It smelt like beer and weed and cherries. You wanted to taste it.
“I’m serious. You’re-”
You cut her off by closing the distance between you and pressing your lips against hers. Half a second later, you pulled back, mortified.
“I’m so sorry,” you said, sitting up. You had just ruined everything. Everyone was going to know now. As nice as Chrissy seemed, you knew that there’s no way this would stay under wraps. Tears stung your eyes. “I don’t know what-”
Chrissy pulled you back down and you landed flat on your back. You closed your eyes, half expecting her to hit you, but the blows never came. Instead, soft lips pressed against yours.
This time, you got to appreciate the way she tasted. The cherry lip gloss was smeared all over both of your lips as she straddled your lap, her bare thighs smooth and soft under your hands. Her fingers tangled in your hair.
“Chrissy,” you gasped, and she slid her tongue between your lips, tasting the inside of your mouth. Your fingers flexed against her thighs and she let out a soft little moan.
Neither of you heard the door open, but you did hear Eddie’s sudden intake of breath. Chrissy rolled off you immediately, pulling her cheer skirt down to cover herself. Anxiety was radiating off her in waves as she glanced from you to Eddie and back.
“I should go,” she said. She looked as though she might cry.
“Don’t leave. Please.” You hated how pathetic and desperate you sounded, but you really, really wanted her to stay.
“It’s okay,” said Eddie, raising both hands placatingly. “I’m not gonna tell anyone.” Chrissy wiped her eyes with the back of her hand, and you realised she was crying.
You shuffled over to the edge of the bed and looked up into her eyes. “I’m bisexual,” you said. It wasn’t something you often said out loud, but you felt like it needed to be said. “And Eddie knows that. He would never tell anyone about me, or you. You can trust him.”
“Really?” She looked over at Eddie.
“Of course,” he said. “Who would I even tell?”
“Jason.” Her voice trembled as she said her boyfriend’s name.
“Fuck that guy,” said Eddie, and a laugh bubbled up from between Chrissy’s lips. “Seriously. You’re my friend now, and I’d protect all of my friends with my life.”
You reached out and took Chrissy’s hand. “You okay?” She nodded.
“Do you want me to leave you guys alone?” Eddie asked with a shit-eating grin. “Only, I can’t help but notice that your boobs are escaping.” He pointed at your chest. You looked down, and sure enough, they were practically bursting out of your top. You adjusted them casually.
“Nothing you haven’t seen before,” you said.
Chrissy looked from you to Eddie and back. “Wait, you guys-”
“We’re friends with benefits,” said Eddie.
“Best friends,” you supplied.
“Best friends. With the best benefits.”
“That… makes a lot of sense, actually,” said Chrissy, sitting down on the edge of the bed again.
Eddie cocked his head to one side. “How so?”
“Well… At first I thought you two were dating, because you seemed super close. But then you kissed me,” she said, looking at you. “So I figured you were just friends. But this tracks.”
You shrugged. “If you say so.”
There was a pause. Eddie leant on the doorframe. “Well, if you ladies need me, I’ll be in the other room blasting music. Be good to each other.”
“Wait!” Chrissy called out to him before he could close the door. Both of you were looking at her now. “You could… stay?”
You looked at Eddie, and he met your eyes with a wolfish grin. “Just to clarify,” he said, “would you want me to stay as a spectator? Or as a participant.”
Chrissy looked at you again. “Whatever you want. If that’s okay with both of you.”
“I’m down if you are,” said Eddie, and you nodded.
Gently, you pushed Chrissy back so she was lying on the bed, and then climbed on top of her. As you kissed her, your fingers skating up her arm, you felt Eddie’s hands on your hips. His fingers clumsily found the front of your jeans and flicked open the button.
You pressed your face into Chrissy’s neck. She was making such pretty little noises. You wondered if you could make her scream. At the same time, Eddie was tugging on your jeans. You wiggled your hips to help him pull them down. As soon as they were off, Eddie wasted no time, laying kisses on both of your ass cheeks.
You pulled down the front of Chrissy’s uniform, revealing a plain black bra. “Can I?” you asked, fingering the straps.
“Yes,” she murmured, breathless.
She arched her back, allowing you to get your hands underneath her to unhook her bra. Behind you, Eddie was running his fingers over your clothed cunt and watching your wetness seep through the fabric.
“Damn, Chrissy hasn’t even shown you her boobs yet and you’re already soaking,” he said, tugging your panties up so they were pressed tight against your pussy. You couldn’t help the moan that escaped your lips, and Chrissy let out a soft giggle. Your hand curled around the front of her bra and pulled it off her.
“Much better,” you said. Chrissy’s boobs were milky-white with pert nipples as pink as her cheeks were right now. You took one in each hand and they fit easily. Her chest was rising and falling with each heavy breath.
Your lips closed around one nipple at the same moment as Eddie decided to put you out of your misery. He pushed your panties to the side and slipped one finger inside you.
“Eds,” you moaned around Chrissy’s nipple. Chrissy’s fingers tugged on your hair, holding you tight against her. As you sucked, your name fell from her lips, and you clenched around Eddie’s finger.
Chrissy hooked one leg over your hip and ground against you. “Please,” she murmured, and you couldn’t say no to that.
You crawled down her body, dropping kisses on every bit of exposed skin until you were between her thighs. You could feel Eddie grinding against you, two fingers inside you now. Looking over your shoulder at him, you let out a long moan as he pressed right against your g-spot.
From there, it was a scramble to find a condom and put it on. Eddie stripped completely naked before lining himself up with your aching hole.
Meanwhile, you were pushing up Chrissy’s tiny cheerleading skirt to reveal a pair of white cotton panties with a large wet patch. You couldn’t hold it in any longer. You needed to taste her. As you tugged her panties down and slid your tongue between her folds, Eddie pushed into you. That drew a deep moan from you, and Chrissy grabbed your hair again, tugging on it harder.
You let her manoeuvre you however she wanted. You were intoxicated by the sweet tang of her cunt. Behind you, Eddie was fucking you slow and deep, and you knew he was trying to make this last.
As you swirled your tongue around her clit, Chrissy said, “Have-” A sharp intake of breath cut her off. “Have you ever done this before? How are you so good at this?”
Your cheeks were burning. You pulled back slightly – just enough to slide two fingers inside her and feel her clench around you – and said, “Yeah, a couple of times.”
Eddie’s steady presence kept you grounded. His firm hands – one on your hip, the other reaching around to play with your clit – and the heavy weight of his cock inside you were familiar. They were safe. Chrissy was something entirely different.
“With who?”
You pinched her clit between two fingers, and her thighs trembled around your head. “There’s a gay bar a few towns over that me and Eddie go to sometimes. The ladies there taught me a few things.”
“Can I come with you?” The question surprised you, but she was clearly so horny and desperate for release that she’d say anything right about now.
“Sure,” you said, humouring her, before diving back into her cunt.
“I want to learn,” she said, breathlessly. “Will you teach me?”
That, combined with a particularly hard thrust from Eddie against your g-spot, pushed you over the edge. Eddie swore as your pussy squeezed him, your body shuddering with the strength of your orgasm.
He pulled out, leaving you trembling. Chrissy’s grip on your hair loosened, so she was stroking it rather than pulling it. Your arms were shaking and you could barely hold yourself up.
“Hey,” Chrissy murmured. “Roll over for me.”
Sated and submissive, you lay down on your back. Eddie put his hands on your thighs, rubbing soothing circles there. His cock was still rock hard, now glistening with your juices.
Chrissy’s slender fingers found the bottom of your shirt and pulled it off over your head. Between the two of them, they stripped the rest of your clothes off you, and then she straddled your face, her ass facing towards you.
“Come here, Eddie,” she said, and as soon as he stepped close enough, she pulled him into a kiss.
Her pussy was inches from your face. You hooked your arms over her hips and pulled her down onto your mouth.
“You like how she tastes?” asked Eddie, and you were about to respond when you realised he wasn’t talking to you. Chrissy had lips wrapped around his cock, sucking your juices off him. You moaned in surprise. “There we go. Good girl.” Chrissy let out a soft little whimper.
Eddie was holding onto her now-messy ponytail, guiding her head up and down on his cock. You held onto her thighs tighter and pressed two fingers inside her again. Your lips moved backwards and your tongue just grazed against her asshole. She moaned loudly then, her juices dripping down your chin. You let her grind back against your face, riding out her own orgasm.
“Fuck, that’s so fucking hot,” muttered Eddie, speeding up his thrusts. Chrissy’s hands were on his hips, her nails digging into his skin. It didn’t take long before he was cumming too.
For a while, the three of you sprawled out on the bed, in various states of undress, trying to get your breath back. Chrissy’s fingers were lightly intertwined with yours. You closed your eyes, savouring the moment.
“I meant what I said, you know,” she said.
“Huh?”
“About wanting to learn. Will you teach me?”
“Teach you what?”
“I want to go down on you,” she said, and your cheeks suddenly felt very hot.
Eddie leant up on one elbow, studying the two of you carefully. “You know, I know what she likes. I’m sure I could talk you through the basics.”
That was how Chrissy Cunningham ended up between your thighs, one of your legs thrown over her shoulder and the other being pinned down by Eddie.
“That’s it. Good girl,” he murmured as she licked tentatively at your clit. “That’s right. Press harder. She likes it like that.” Chrissy’s tongue laved over you with more confidence now. “How does she taste?”
“Good. Really good.” Every word sent a puff of air over your already over-sensitive cunt.
“Now try putting a finger inside her.”
Chrissy’s delicate fingers parted your lower lips and then she slid the middle finger inside you. Her fingers felt so different from Eddie’s, and so different from your own.
“You should be able to find the g-spot if you just-” Eddie grabbed her wrist and twisted her hand, guiding her, until-
“Oh my fucking god,” you moaned. This was all too much. Chrissy let out a little laugh, her hair falling in a halo around her face. She had two fingers pressed deep inside you, rubbing over that most sensitive spot.
She lapped up the juices that had just gushed out of you. Eddie’s spare hand found its way onto your breast, squeezing it in a manner that was surprisingly soothing.
“You’re being such a good girl for me and Chrissy, aren’t you sweetheart?”
“I’m a good girl,” you half-slurred. You were almost delirious. Chrissy’s tongue was doing such sweet and sinful things to your cunt.
“Pinch her clit,” said Eddie. “She likes that.”
She followed his instructions, sending a jolt up through you. Your back arched up off the bed, and you humped back against her hand.
“You like that?” she asked breathily, flirtatiously, sensually, and that was all it took. You squirted, a rush of liquid drenching her face and hands. Still, she didn’t stop fingerfucking you until you muttered out a quiet plea for her to stop.
“Holy fuck,” said Eddie when your heavy breathing had evened out. “Did you squirt?”
“I’ve never squirted before,” you said, and a wide, genuine smile graced Chrissy’s face.
“Really?” she asked.
“Really.”
“Guess I must be pretty good, then.”
“Shut up,” you said, pulling her back down for another kiss.
Sequel.

So everyone else seems to be bolstered in their Buddie hope after this episode, but am I the only one that's getting a sinking feeling instead?
On one hand, yes, the repressed catholic guilt for Eddie makes me optimistic--and was I understanding Maddie's hint about Eddie correctly or was I crazy?--but everything else read to me as ABC beginning to--maybe not solidfy Buck and Eddie as only friends, but at least pump the breaks on Buddie.
I get letting them grow and learn more about themselves in separate relationships first, but Eddie's genuine, physical attraction to Marisol? Going back to the beginning of their relationship so ABC can undo how Fox just kind of through them together like usual right before the season finale and they can actually show the development of this relationship that's existed for months now but we weren't able to see? Paralleling this with Buck and Tommy who want to get to know each other better? Buck and Eddie's shorter, more bro-style interactions vs the softer more intimate interactions we were used to seeing in Buck's kitchen? The hug and "call Tommy," was all just so quick and platonic😭.
I'm not saying they'll never go there, I'm just saying I'm not so confident that if it does happen, we'll see it confirmed in the next few years.
Anyone else know the story of Benson and Stabler on SVU? They were always partners/ best friends/ride-or-dies/more-than-friends/soulmates, but Stabler was Catholic, married and had up to 5 kids. Everyone and their mother knew those two were meant to be, but their timing just never worked out. In their first 12 years before Chris(Stabler) left the show though, they hugged like a total of 3 times, never once said "I love you" or ever crossed the line physically. Okay? You with me? And yet, there was so much chemistry and love shown between them, that they were undeniable.
Cut forward 10 years, and Stabler gets his own spinoff and is brought back into Benson's life. 22 YEARS in the making. In his first season back, his wife was killed, he told her "I love you" and this giant, unspoken thing between them was actually fucking acknowledged by their characters in the show. In one season, they advanced these twos' personal relationship more than the previous 22 years put together.
But then.... nothing happened. I mean small things here and there between the two shows, an almost kiss, them admitting they want each other. But still, three years later and they still aren't together. And now we're at 25 years, for what has to be the slowest slow burn in the history of like, everything.
All this to say, I'm really afraid that ABC and Tim Minear are only coming out swinging so hard in an effort to hook existing fans and gain their loyalty. But then, it's going to go back to doing what any other major television company does, and it's going to fall back into drawing it out as long as possible. Because yeah, the show is on season 7, but if ABC wants it to go another 7 for themselves, they can't just rush and give us what we want in the first one or two seasons, that wouldn't be a good financial strategy for them. I really don't think they'll do it that way.
ABC gave us bi Buck and they can't ever take that away, but will they trap us with that bait, and be content with making everyone halfway happy to avoid taking too many more risks so soon or ever? Yeah, I really think they're not above that.
I feel like we're already falling back into the patented responses from cast and crew that "you never know" or "anything can happen" or "nothing is set in stone", so that's not making me feel great.
Don't get me wrong, I would be so happy to admit I'm wrong if it doesn't go the way I think it will, but I don't think I can live episode-to-episode for another 7 years living off scraps of Buddie interactions and subtext😭😭 I'd rather they just go the "brother" route so I can get closure and focus on fanfiction instead. The will they/won't they and overanalyslzing every single second looking for a hint of something sexual or romantic between them will be the death of me, because at the end of the day, it'll mean whatever ABC will want it to mean😭
Most of yall probably won't even read this, but I had to get my anxiety out, lmao😅

I needed a couple of hours to sort through my thoughts about 7x04 - because I was busy screaming, crying, kicking my feet giggling - but now I just gotta say, before I dive into any details: I AM SO INCREDIBLY HAPPY.
As a bisexual myself who realized she‘s always been bi at the ripe age of 30 and after already being very married to the very male love of her life (which wasn’t at all changed by the realization), seeing bi characters having their ‚oh‘ moment later in life than in their teens is SO VALIDATING.
I love how yes, there have always been hints and it makes sense for the character but they actually gave Buck the space to find out this new thing about himself. They showed an adult man figuring this important part of his identity out when he was ready for it. Without it being induced by trauma or relationship troubles. That is so so so meaningful and so so so beautiful at the same time. I legit CRIED LIKE A BABY watching Buck‘s face go ‚oh I see‘ after the kiss. He just landed in his body as the penny of truth dropped and he seemed so content it made me squeek. I love seeing our golden retriever carving his place out in the world and discovering how to fully embrace all of himself.
And I love he gets to do it with Tommy.
Yes, I am a buddie shipper and that hasn‘t changed. However, whichever way the show moves now, bi Buck means the world to me. And the way they are telling the story with Tommy in a gentle, realistic way, I hope we get more of that. Hell I even really like their vibe together. Tommy seems like he‘ll be okay holding the hand of a baby queer and help him dip his toe into the water. Wherever that leads, it was a genius decision to introduce him to Buck‘s story.
Now for the details:
This episode wasn‘t only beautiful, it was also hilarious. THE TOP GUN REFERENCE HAD ME HOLLERING. At that point I knew some queerness was gonna happen because you don’t make the queerest reference in movie history without reason. Also absolutely loved the sewer conversation (hooray for Ravi by the way, I missed that little dude) and the emotions Buck goes through during the conversation.
Buck‘s jealousy is as stupid as it is adorable and I have to say I did find Eddie the slightest bit unfair. He knows Buck has abandonment issues and still doesn‘t register that he might need some reassurance. Yes okay, I get he wanted a little payback for the Nathalia ‚she sees me‘ bs, but come on, Eds, cut the poor man some slack.
The acting in the episode? Chef‘s kiss. Oliver was amazing, but I don‘t see Lou getting enough credit. He already planted his visible interest in Buck in 7x03 nicely in that one tiny interaction at the end and he really delivered on the flirty banter in this episode. Oliver, meanwhile, has done such a great job at showing the gradual change in Buck and the nervousness and the curiosity and hopefulness it tugged on all of my heartstrings. Deserving of an Emmy-nom. Great Job, loved every second.
Maddy and Chim very also amazing in the ep, especially Chim clocking immediately why Buck really brought him to basketball. It‘s gonna be interesting to see their reaction to Buck‘s truth - if he‘s ready to share it yet.
The only thing that bugged me was that Athena‘s storyline felt very rushed. I liked the theme and I think it hinted at important conversations, but it resolved the conflict too fast and too easy - making said issues seem smaller than they are. I struggle to believe that they would let a POC kid off the hook that easily. I wish this was realistic, but I doubt it is.
Bachelor call was great, loved gossipy Josh (by god, I want more Josh, I love that goofball) and Chim going full fanboy.
Can‘t wait for next week and hope we get more Hen and Bobby there! I missed them this ep.
I am so excited to see where Buck‘s story arch will go next. I‘ll explode with happiness if it slowly drifts towards buddie, but I won’t be mad if it doesn‘t happen or if it does happen and the show takes its time to get there. A slow buildup for this would be chef‘s kiss and I have a lot of trust in ABC and the writers that this is how they will do it, if Buddie happens.
All in all: Favorite episode of all the series for me, worthy 100th episode, will watch a billion times, made me all warm and fuzzy and giggly.

congrats on the kiss!! i have never seen 911 but i absorb it thru ur posts on the dash and im so happy yall got ur canon bi!
Awwww thank you so very much hon!💖💖💖Like we always knew he is bisexual, you know? Its nothing new for us,there were too many hints through the seasons (there is that ''mankisser'' gifset somewhere on my dash if you scroll down enough) but to see it not only confirmed - but done as well as it was and as a beginning of a meaningful arc?It was mindblowing! We got a bisexual Buck,a fantastic queer character in Tommy and we are at the very beginning of a much bigger buddie arc.Because yes we have been shipping buddie for years, its well documented on my blog lol-but we now have a date when buddie became an absolute reality and its when 7x04 aired. We are now done with will they/won't they and its just a question of when. Buck just found out that he is bi,just wait till he figures out he has feelings for Eddie and has been basically dating him for years. So yeah today is beyond exciting for the fandom!
And also it was personal for me-to see a man in his early 30s figuring out something so important,so life changing with that soft incredilous look on his face after Tommy kissed him? Like something wonderful just happened and everything finally made sense?! Buck was happy. And it reminded me a lot of my own experience,I was 20 when I figured out I was bi and it was one of the best days of my life.So to see this onscreen was something else.

do you think the Oliver stark interview hinted at bi feeling realizations at all (in general/outside of a romance), or do you think there is something else that is gonna happen on Buck’s journey of self discovery and fans are just reading into what they want? im personally so conflicted. Like I absolutely see it reading as sexuality realizations but overall it’s still vague enough it really could be anything. However, I am having a hard time thinking of what “anything” else could be unless they really are hiding a female LI (new or return) or revert back to the hamster wheel. I guess there is also job/career stuff as well but that looks like it might be going to Eddie/another character, though the “I can’t tell you how to feel about the job” and promo pics for the episode could all be misdirects to who they are geared towards (🤷‍♀️).
There’s so much of me that wants to say yes absolutely. but i try to keep myself grounded and not get too excited so like ill hit you with a strong maybe?? but here’s why i do think that a sexuality storyline is in store based on some of the points you brought up here:
you’re so right that he definitely kept it very vague which is where my skepticism comes in, but i’m rly similar to you in where i just can’t find anything else that makes sense.
if we go down the job security route, well first of all we’ve done that before, god have we done that before. the lawsuit storyline happened and if we have to revisit the idea of buck feeling like he’s not useful if he’s not a firefighter after that… idk i will probably lose faith in this shows writers. Within the professional sense there’s also the idea of insecurity in professional development which we did last season (we also got the most insanely buddie coded conversation that started couch theory through that storyline which i think is… of note). but then there’s just the fact that why in the fuck would he be envious of eddies relationships if it’s about work? like there’s the idea that eddie could go to a different place to work and he would be jealous that eddie is doing new things with his job and he isn’t but, idk there’s just not a lot of substance there to me.
the word envy was very purposefully used in my opinion and i think it’s def telling us that this is much more of an interpersonal issue than professional. that then brings us to the idea of female love interests and the hamster wheel. when you think about the storyline with lucy in place of tommy… things get more interesting. because if buck is instead envious of lucy and eddie getting closer together then there’s this idea of the fake out: buck had something romantic with lucy once so he doesn’t like that someone else he knows is getting close to her but SURPRISE he actually wants eddie. like in my mind that’s how the story was supposed to go if lucy was here, but with tommy they maybe had to tweak and twist it a bit.
i got off track there but i guess in short, yes i really do feel as though a sexuality arc is coming. because anything else would either just be boring or a rehash of old news. but we’ll see! thank you for the ask mwah

just saying it’s crazy how some of y’all are gaslighting buddie stans into thinking all of it was in our head… when the couch theory came from buddie stans in the first place and they made it canon. they made buck fall asleep on eddies couch. they made eddie be the first one that made Buck equate the couch to romance. this wasn’t in our head. they took a theory that we created, strung us along with it and fed into it, made it canon, only to turn around and mock us with it in the end. I can guarantee you that if this was a man and a woman, you wouldn’t be telling us that it’s all in our heads and that we turned it into something it wasn’t.
This was to purposely mock Buddie stans and it was a slap in the face. I can’t believe y’all are in the buddie tag like “in their defense no one ever said it was about Eddie and you guys created something out of nothing.” It was implied. It was literally implied. The blond hatred that some of you have for buddie stans is so annoying honestly and I’m not understanding how you can see what we went through with this whole couch theory debacle, something that came from US, and say that we’re being unreasonably upset. We’re not.
Lets really take a step back and look at how this show treats its queer characters and fans. Paul had a hella transphobic storyline, henren cheating arc, Michael and David never even showing any actual intimacy besides a hug, Eva being the only possible bi character and being villianized. Tarlos and Henren never having a moment to just breathe and be happy unlike their straight counter ships. Buck being hinted as bi only for them to laugh in our faces over it. Henren having way less screen time and advertisement than any other couple. It’s the fact that I know henren adoption storyline is going to have more angst than happy moments where they’re yet again faced with the idea of not being able to have another child after getting their hopes up. So walk with me here, is it really that hard to believe that Buddie stans were played here? if you look at it even from the sights of just a queer fan, rather than just a buddie stan, you will see this is a common track record with them.
People who don’t even watch the show are reading up on what happened and are saying this was horrible for them to do. So why can’t you see it? Why are you riding so hard for them and telling buddie stans that they made it up? Yes. That’s the point. We made the couch theory and they took it and purposely twisted it after feeding into it. We didn’t make it into something it’s not. Couch theory started back when Taylor moved out from what I can remember. And so many important buddie scenes took place on their couches. Like this was our thing and it was used to mock us. We’re allowed to criticize the show for this. Just because you don’t see it, doesn’t mean it wasn’t ever real.

@angelscoops @starryeyedjanai @hunter-sylvester i gathered them into a post since you guys overlap!
▼ - childhood headcanon
We know about his dad, and as for the mom, I guess I prefer the version where she died when he was a kid rather than abandoned him. Maybe because, just as I do with Steve, I'd rather Eddie had some love and fond childhood memories.
☼ - appearance headcanon
Kinda overlaps with the one above, and I don't remember who came up with it and whether I read it on tumblr or in a fic, but it stuck with me. Eddie buzzed his hair in middle school because his mom had cancer and lost hers and was very upset about it, and he decided to support her this way. He started growing it to look like hers after she died because it reminds him of her.
♡ - romantic headcanon
I love Eddie as a hopeless romantic. He'd never admit it, but he used to daydream about being swept off his feet by a knight in shining armor, literally, in a fantasy setting. Enter Steve, who figures him out pretty quickly despite Eddie insisting he doesn't need flowers and candlelit dinners and is just happy to be with Steve, because he blushes and his eyes fill with tears every time Steve romances him. Even years into their relationship, Steve would bring him breakfast in bed with scrambled eggs shaped into an uneven heart on his plate, and Eddie would have to fight back tears.
✿ - sex headcanon
Oh, do you really wanna provoke me into a 1000 word essay on my virgin Eddie my beloved agenda. DO YOU REALLY. Because yes, while I love writing slutty Eddie occasionally, in the canon timeline, he's a loser virgin. He quietly thirsts after pretty boys in school corridors but is too awkward to make a move, even if there might be hints that a boy he looks at is queer. So yeah. The boy had zero sex before Steve barged into his life full speed.
My Eddie's sexuality hc keeps going back and forth between gay and bi, I like bi!Eddie but end up writing him as gay 90% of the time just because fucking look at him, how the hell did he not walk around with a small army of bad boy loving girls (from the band or theatre for instance) if he was bi. I can't make sense of it 😂
☾ - sleep headcanon
We all agree on koala!Eddie, right? Also, he tosses and turns a lot if he sleeps alone, but if Steve's arms are around him, he stays still.
☆ - happy headcanon
Imagine 58-y.o. Eddie today when Baldur's Gate 3 comes out. IMAGINE. He takes a week off work and his concerned husband has to physically drag him away from the computer at 3am because "you need to sleep Eddie, you're not twenty anymore." Steve should've done it hours ago, but Eddie just looked so damn happy even with his red-rimmed eyes from playing for 12 hours straight, he didn't have the heart.
♦ - quirks/hobbies headcanon
Since I've already dipped into modern era, see above - Eddie would be an obsessive gamer and maybe even make a decent career streaming because his commentary would be hilarious and he also has a talent stumbling into the most ridiculous game glitches.
