So does sigyn just not exist in the mcu? I know she's in the comics even though I don't read them. Because why are you telling me Loki is completely unloveable and the only person he can love/feel attracted to is himself as a woman that's insane. He's not this demonic guy he's a god of tricks and chaos. He's loved by Thor. By frigga/Freya. By sigyn his canon wife. By his children even if you don't want them to exist here (why I've no idea that's an amazing story)

I just watched TV Sins of Loki S1 and my GOD it’s a hideous creation! What an absolute INSULT! The visuals (except for the citadel) were ABYSMAL and boring. The outfits were boring, acting subpar (Tom was alright in the first episode but that’s it) and just utter NONSENSE! I felt empty while watching it like my soul was being ripped from my body. It truly surprises me that so many people like it. I know many adore Tom and Owen (as do I) and the character of Loki (which I do) but this show is TOXIC POISON! YUCK!!! The writers and directors need to LEAVE! They made Loki and Tom look like an absolute humiliating JOKE! Of all the things they could have done in the show, they had him be an office worker who follows people around like an IDIOT! What a piss poor ‘Loki’ project! I feel bad for Tom as he was told to ‘tone down his performance so that Sylvie could shine’ and 95% of his ideas were ignored. I could tell by watching it that he was half-assing and wasn’t quite right at all during BOTH seasons of the show despite others saying that he was ‘better than ever.’ BS! I’m a MEGA Tom and Loki fan and I could tell that he WASN’T feeling it despite him being his peachy, fun self behind the scenes (which was great because I actually thought that he’d lost his sanity during the show.) I do believe his passion for Loki but I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s over it by now. Especially after that shit project they gave him that wasn’t even MEANT FOR HIS CHARACTER!! ☹️😩😫😤

It’s scary that this show (a terrible, corrupt Disney product) almost made me hate the character of Loki who I’ve adored for a DECADE and even be pissed off at Tom (I heard that he got hacked, doxxed and address leaked due this shit) I can’t believe it managed to skew my, other people’s (and even my Mother’s for a time) perception of this once amazing character and lovely human being. It’s only something that corrupt, modern Disney could achieve..seriously! SCREW THEM!

Everybody is freaking out about the funeral poster. I'm here to remind you all that this man has crossed over into the ethereal plane and back, fallen from a 100 meter+ height unscathed, and crossed the line of life and death multiple times by now to the point that Death either loves his guts or hates his complete denial of the concepts existence.

If he finally died then it's about time but also what was powerful enough to kill him I think that's what we should worry about because clearly natural causes and dark magic don't work on him.

wondering if Thor only connected the dots about Loki already knowing Thanos to the invasion after he died

#i know bruce shows up going on about how new york or whatever was thanos and he was behind loki but. i consider it an incongruency #Thanos knows Loki has failed experience on Earth but that's the entire convo they have. But Thanos KNOWS Loki for the Tesseract at least #did Thor see how Thanos and Loki clearly knew each other and not wonder about how until after the fighting? #did Thor push any history to the side as Loki clearly having betrayed someone big only to hear the story from Gamora or Nebula? #did he think the familiarity and Thanos strangling Loki didn't matter till he landed on Wakanda and saw the chitauri? #did the Avengers meet up later when recounting the lead-up to the snap and did Thor piece it together after hearing the freedom jargon #that they were reciting - not unlike Loki's in Avengers 1 #did Thor ever find out that Loki didn't start attacking midgard of his own volition #did he figure it out long after Loki was dead and Thanos was dead and there was nothing to be done #and if so did he tell anyone else about what he realized or was there no point #did this contribute to his depression #just wondering

Having an ongoing not-rewatch of That Thor Film based entirely on tumblr meta posts, it's weirdly fun and also perplexing. Currently trying to puzzle out why everyone in the film is Mean To Loki without any apparent motivation. And, no, my own previous take makes no more sense either, because in that version of the film Loki does seem like he gets Up To No Good as a general thing he does but later on Thor doesn't even think to question the "Dad's dead, I'm king, you can't come home, sorz ❤" thing which implies that either Loki isn't known as a lying liar who lies (which fits tumblr's take but then we're back at that motivation issue) or that Thor is the most gullible person who ever lived. Which he otherwise doesn't appear to be.

Like for srs as I try to work out how this film works I am just getting closer to the idea that it... doesn't?

i hate the commercialisation of the avengers inside the mcu both bc i find it cringy and meta but also bc it narratively doesn’t make sense.

we spent ten years establishing that the avengers are a contentious presence, civil war was literally about people not trusting them bc of what/who they are and now it’s almost completely erased and everyone loves them now? and don’t even get me started on rogers the musical

the way clint reacts makes it seem like the writers are trying to say it’s in poor taste but it’s less bc it trivialises a literal alien invasion but bc clint misses natasha and it hurts him to see an interpretation of her. not bc people are singing and dancing about an event that got hundreds if not thousands of people killed. the closest american equivalent i can think of is 9/11. people can’t even joke about it without being torn apart and it happened over 20 years ago. the battle of new york happened 10 years ago in the current mcu, the snap happened maybe a year ago, you’re telling me everyone’s chill with a musical about one of the worst days of their lives?

“i can do this all day” being their tagline encapsulates everything i dislike about it. the only people steve said that to were nazis that were immediately killed, tony who would never talk about what happened in siberia and the 2012 version of steve says it to him. no one else would know that phrase and acting like it’s something he crowed from the rooftops is at best a plot hole and at worse, an indictment of how little care the writers are having for the new era of the mcu
