DUDE YOU'RE STILL ALIVE???

Good question Anon…I’ve been dealing with an illness since July so I’m wondering the same thing. Between deadlines and being a corpse, I haven’t been able to make any new fanart or personal art. BUT I’ve been working on a lot of cool stuff I can’t show just yet (stay tuned), and once I’m feeling human again (hopefully sooner than later) I should have some new art to share! So until then, thanks for anyone sticking around!

Can you explain how you go about drawing hair? Esp in your Trevor WIP

Ah hair, how I love drawing you. My main advice would be to design the overall shape of the hair on the head (don’t start with individual hairs!), and section it out into manageable strands. I tend to put the brushstrokes in a “v” shape or zigzag, but I adjust it depending on how the strand is shaped and where the lighting is. (If your character has really long, complicated hair, it’s easier to start with solid black/colour, and use this technique to just draw in the shines).

A d&d party commission I drew a couple months ago for a LoTR campaign. This was soo fun and I loved drawing all the different personalities (and yes the horse is supposed to look like Maximus).
