Name Change

I changed the name on this Tumblr! Sorry for any confusion this causes, but I wanted to have my socials mostly under the same name so you know it's me.

My name was formerly @ rose-loves-got7

With this, it brings this question: should I change my signature also?

On many updates, personal, notices, etc. I will post "-Rose" as a sort of signature. I don't put this on every one of those types of posts (I probably should), but I usually do. Rose was my admin name, but you probably guessed this isn't my real name. I don't plan on ever sharing my real name, but I may start signing my name as "-A" instead of "-Rose". I've used Rose for a while as a fake name, but "A" is this first letter of my real name. Writing "A" feels a little more personal than "Rose", but I think I prefer this more.

So if you see me sign "A" in future posts, I am still "Rose". It is the same admin, I have just changed the url and signature. I hope this isn't too big a step, but like I said, I want my accounts to mostly have the same names.

Also, this name change makes me feel a little more free to make stories with other kpop groups. I mean, it wasnt that I couldn't before, I just didn't know if it would be out of place. This blog has always been multifandom, but the previous name have been a bit misleading. In the future, I may create some fanfics that aren't of just GOT7... Then again, I rarely have the motivation to even write GOT7 stuff xde.

I have the Tumblr app, but I need to use my computer to update the list (while I could do it on my phone, it just gets messy and doesn't look right). "Did you really think I'd let you kiss me first?"

Warnings: It's pretty pure with just kissing.

        "You can't tell me what I can and can't do," She says, a small fire in her brilliant eyes. "I'll do as I please, and you can't do a thing about it." She smiles, and I know she's enjoying this exchange.

        I can't help but smile also. She's feisty, never giving in to me, and I can't help but love her more for it. "You're right, I can't." I lean against her, and she rests her head on my shoulder. 

        "This is nice, you know. Just sitting here without anyone to bother us." She sighs and looks up at the sky, brightly washed with stars, farther away than I can comprehend.

        "Yeah," I reply. Her hair dances ineffably in the soft breeze. My eyes catch hers, for what seem like a millennium, but she turns away, tickled at the occurrence. The night feels right- everything about this feels right. I feel as if the galaxy is watching out for me. The stars align when I'm near her, but I'm afraid this adulation will only scare her. I don't even realize how fast my heart beats for her, and I'm having to catch my breath because I've held it so long. 

        And God, the look she's got on her face could kill a man. Her pouted lips that always spoke the dissented, never giving in. Her eyes that would not hesitate to challenge you; all of this worked me over. I can barely contain this uncertainty and not knowing what she thinks, and I'm just praying she'll at least be easy on me.

        I do something I never thought I'd do, and lean towards her, inches away from the forbidden. I'm so close to making a move, but I stop, not brave enough to finish what I started. I whisper, frightened at my own actions, "Y/N," My voice is shaky, but I force out my words, making sure she's never aware of my true thoughts. 

        "Jaebum," She breathes back, her hand skimming down my arm. I stiffen at the touch, not expecting her to react that way. Her hand finds its way to my face, lightly massaging my cheek. "What is it?" She asks in a soft voice, her fingers tracing my jaw. 

        She knows what she's doing to me, and I'm finding it hard to keep any sense of self control. I know that being impatient with her just pushes her further to entice me. I find my sense of reasoning again and form a reply in my mind's numb state, "Nothing," I say, turning my head away. Her hands are off me, and I feel like I can breathe again. 

        "Hey," She says and tugs on my shirt, "Don't turn away from me." Her voice is soft but commanding, and I decide to let her order me. 

        I face towards her, and my eyes lock with hers. Our warm breaths project into the frigid night air, hushed by each other. Her eyes were more fascinating than the constellations overhead. I move towards her, not even aware of what I'm really doing. 

         I hesitated for a moment, but it didn't really matter. 

        She was much braver than I was. 

        Her lips were already on mine in my hesitation, and I realize that she's taken the lead- she was the bold one. Her mouth twists into a smile, knowing that she caught me off guard. 

        I had always been the one to make the first move. Most girls were too shy to kiss me first, and I guess that's why I pursued her. She was a challenge to me. She made sure I knew I wasn't in charge, and she made sure I knew she was in charge of her. 

        And yet I always pushed the limit. We both desired our own freedoms, and a switch flipped when she challenged me for the first time seven months ago. In those seven months, my ego took a major loss. No matter how much I wanted to make her frustrated and control her, she only did the opposite and made me feel this way. I haven't felt that rush in what seems like forever, but she gave me a new dynamic. 

        She breaks away from me and laughs, "You seem devastated."

        I turn away, hiding my face from her. I feel hot, and I feel like answering would only put more dents in my pride. 

        She sighs, completely satisfied for how this situation turned out in her favor, "Did you really think I'd let you kiss me first? You shouldn't have hesitated if you wanted to kiss me." She taunts, and I can't help but feel agitated. 

        I huff, aggravated but also enjoying this slightly. Ok, more than slightly. "You really think something like that would upset me?" I lie. 

        She raises her eyebrow, obviously not taking my excuse, "Hm, okay then. I'll let you go this time," She stirs and pulls herself up from the blanket. "I'll see you here again Monday. You better be here." She grabs her phone, puts it in her pocket, and takes a piece of her and brushes it behind my ear. 

        And with that, she left. I'm still processing all that had happened tonight, and I curse inwardly at myself. 

        She won this time, but next time I won't hesitate.

        I ran a hand through my hair absently, and stared at the piano in front of me. I took a few deep breaths while debating whether to even attempt to play again. I picked up my phone sitting on the piano and checked the time. 21:34. "Well, this is great," I murmured to myself.          I gathered up my energy again and attempted to try again. My hands treaded over the keys of the grand piano lightly, but it didn't matter. The graceful strokes were outweighed by the off key sound emitting from the piano. I yanked my hands away, throwing my head back in aggravation.          "Hey there, stranger." I turned in fright to see it was Jaebum, the boy in my chemistry class that I had an almost painful crush on even though we were friends since fourth grade. I haven't talked to him much since I started having a crush for him. Partially to keep myself from looking stupid and partially because I didn't want to screw things up any further. When we did talk, though, it was frustrating to say the least because he's a very flirty person.         "Gosh, you scared me," I sighed. "Why are you here this late?" I asked.          He sat down on the bench beside me in front of the piano, "I could ask you the same thing," He replied. He looked at the sheet in front of me, examining the paper. "You've been playing this in the wrong key, you know," He said and pointed around on the paper. "And you should play this as an F# instead." He instructed and played a few keys on the piano while showing me a few other things I missed.         I watched silently as his fingers moved gracefully over the ivory keys, creating soft, harmonious sounds. His hair fell into his eyes briefly, but he quickly swept it away. I tried not to notice, but I couldn't help myself from staring at the innocent movement.          "Got it?" He interrupted my thoughts and looked me in my distant gaze.          "Oh," I replied quickly, "Yeah. So I, um, just do this?" I ask while playing a few keys hesitantly. It sounded like nothing he played, and I sighed in disappointment. "That's not right."          "No, it isn't." He smirked at my words, but not quite in a condescending manner. He smiled warmly and scooted closer, my thighs touching his, and moved my hands to the right spot.          "Gosh, Jaebum, you didn't have to come this close," I say while keeping my face down to prevent him seeing my warming face.          He laughed in reply but didn't take notice of what I had said. He stayed just as close to me, making it harder for me to concentrate. His cologne is what bothered me the most. It was fresh yet masculine, making me want to bury my face in his chest just to smell the cologne- that reason would be less embarrassing than flat out saying I just wanted him to hold me, yet the reason was nonetheless weird. He seemed to have no idea of what he was doing, or I guess he didn't care and wanted me to suffer.          "Now try it." He look at me in expectation, his deep brown eyes looking into mine.         Okay, I zoned out the whole time he was talking, but I'll pretend like I totally heard it all. Totally. I moved my hands around the keys, hoping I'd get it right, but it only seemed to have gotten somehow worse.         "Oh, sweetheart," He said, trying not to come off too harsh. He said the nickname casually, so I tried to convince myself to not think anything of it. "Did you hear any of what I said?" He asked, knowing that he was right.          "Of course I heard what you said," I lied through my teeth, "Do you think I just ignored you or something?" I said, hoping he would drop it.         "I don't really know. You were about to stare a hole in me."  He teased.          I blushed and hit him lightly, "Shut up."          "Ok, let's try this one more time. Listen this time, please." He feigned aggravation, only looking cuter in the process.          I nodded, ignoring my internal alarms. I actually focused somewhat this time and noticed the way he so effortlessly played all the notes. He would play a few notes then look back at me, making sure I was paying attention. When he finished the playing the section he looked at me, waiting for me to play what he showed me.          I looked at him then began to play. I had fixed some of the problems I had, but I still wasn't doing everything right. I stopped and turned to him. He had a grin on his face and shook his head.         "We'll work on it later," He got up from the bench and motioned me to get up too, "It's Friday night, and I know you don't have anywhere to go. Let's go do something." He offered while holding his hand out invitingly.         I looked at his hand and back at him, processing what he said. He has to be asking me out- why else would he say something like that? I decided to be brave and hope I wouldn't betray myself. I wrapped my hand around his and smile my reply, "Yeah, that sounds great." Okay, that was fine. I think that sounded alright.          He smiled and squeezed my hand, "All right, you down for late night coffee?"         "How'd I know you're the type of person who drinks coffee at night?" I couldn't hold back my grin- this must be an amazing dream. Real or not, I'll take what I get with Jaebum.          He opened the door for me and clasped my hand again, "Is it that obvious?" He replied as we exited the small piano studio. The parking lot was dark yet well lit with bright lights to give me a sense of comfort. Jaebum's car was the only one in the parking lot as I had taken the bus and planned to come back home on the bus.          "Maybe," I say. Jaebum unlocks the car and politely opens the door for me. I enter the car and slump against the plush leather seats. He walks to the other side, enters the car, and then starts it.         "So tell me why you're so worried about learning that song tonight," He asked while driving out of the parking lot.         I tapped my fingers on the seat underneath me, "I'm playing a song for a funeral tomorrow." I didn't want to tell him anymore than that, but I'm already sure he'll ask.          "Is it for someone you know?" He asked.          "Yeah, it is." I reply, trying not to let anything slip.          He nodded, "Okay, I won't pry," I felt relief wash over me that he knew better than to be nosy. "I just realized how long it's been since we've talked. What have you been up to these days?"          "Why don't you stop the car somewhere quiet so I can show you?" I tease, even though I know if he actually did that I would pass out in embarrassment.                 "You're still such a tease," He smirked, "You wouldn't dare." He challenges and halts the car at the stop light.          "You wouldn't either," I smirk, knowing him better than to push me.          He raises his eyebrow, "If I wasn't a nice guy I'd have done it, you know," He laughs warmly at the proposition I offered. "You got a boyfriend you tease now? I'm sure some guy is out there taking your offers."          "Shut up," I huff. "You know better than that."          "No I don't," He grins. "Answer my question: do you have a boyfriend or not?" He pulls into the cafe's parking lot and unbuckles his seat belt.          I shake my head, "No, Jaebum, I don't," I roll my eyes. "Why are you so curious anyway?" I ask.          "For research," He replies. It's a dumb reply, but I let it go. He opens his door and I step out of the car also. "Let's head in."         "What do you think I was gonna do?" I hit his shoulder lightly.          He looked at me then looked away again, "I don't know. You're a wild woman these days." He jokes.          I sigh in fake disappointment and enter the coffee shop. There's one other person there on a laptop, but we're the only other customers at this late hour. A cashier takes our orders and we sit down at one of the many empty booths while we wait.         "Well, I've got to ask you this," He begins. "Will tonight be the last night I see you, or are you gonna talk to me more?"          "Gosh, you're so needy," I tease. "I guess we can, but I don't know. You're asking a lot of me," I joke.         "Oh shut up," He laughs. "I just wanna see you more often."          "Since when did you become so flirty?" I ask,          He smirks a smirk that I can't help but melt into; it's almost devilish. He doesn't respond, but I know by the smug smile on his face that he's very proud of his charm.          "Whatever," I huff.          The barista calls our names and we both go to grab our coffee. The smell of the golden brown liquid wafts upwards, further increasing my want for the bitter sweet taste.         "Do you look at guys the way you're looking at that coffee right now?" He jokes cheekily, trying to get a rise out of me. His question was a joke, but I had a feeling there was at least some bit of sincerity in the question.          I shake my head, "No, my coffee is much more special," I reply.          He smiles, "This reminds of when we were young, you were probably 13, and we put salt instead of sugar in that teacher's coffee. We used to be so evil." His voice was filled with a nostalgic tone.         I reminisce and can clearly remember exactly what he was speaking of, "Oh yeah! I can still see her wrinkly face yelling at us for an hour." I laugh at the memory.          His grin remains plastered on his perfect little face. It becomes silence for a moment, yet not awkward. He suddenly laughs for no real reason, making me laugh also.         "Hey, why are you laughing?" I ask.          He shakes his head, much too tickled to respond. He finally collects himself and responds, "It was quiet and I just laughed. Is it that weird?"         "Yeah," I say.          He rolls his eyes, "Whatever," He looks in my eyes for a moment, containing his grin. "I've missed talking to you like this. We should do this more often."         "But you're like my grandpa. How will you be able to keep up with me?" I tease.          "I'm only a few months older, y'know," He sighed. "So I'm just a grandpa to you?"          I tap my fingers, thinking of a good way to respond. "Well, you've never made the attempt to do something further with me."          He reached for my hand and rubbed it softly, "What do you mean? Something like that?"          "Hm, I don't know. That's a little too friendly." I tease. I'm anxious to see what he'll doing as he's teased me before but never taken action on it.         "Well, I'll take care of that later, then." He says.          I pout slightly, "You're no fun."          He doesn't reply but continues massaging my hand in his. He hums to himself and sips his coffee casually until the sound of slurping starts. He puts his cup down and motions me to stand up. "Come on, let's go."          I nod and shuffle out of my seat. He clasps my hand again and opens the door for me as we exit the quaint little coffee shop. His grip on me is tight but not overbearing, and I can't help myself but dream like a little girl.          "You ever been night swimming?" He asks.          "Nah," I say, slightly embarrassed. I don't exactly know why I felt embarrassed, though. It wasn't as if I had said anything bad, but I still felt a slight heat on my body rising. I suppose I felt ignorant or like Jaebum was more daring than me, but the fact is both of those are true. Very true.         "Want to?" We both enter his car again. The seats are cold now, but I wrap my jacket closer around myself.          I nod, "Yeah, sure."          He smiles at my response at starts the car. The engine rumbles as we leave the parking lot, the dim street lights the only other thing awake at this hour. The drive is short as the beach is much closer than I thought. We park and Jaebum promptly leaves the car.          I follow behind him as we walk towards the softly crashing waves that roll against the shore. The sand tickles my feet and the moon directs its gaze on me. He rolls up the edges of his shirt with his rough hands, his bare chest slowly creeping up to sight. It isn't super built or muscular, but it is nonetheless appealing to my eyes. "You'll wanna remember that," He winks at me.          I try to ignore the tease and motion him to turn around. "Don't look," I whine, about to take my shirt off also.          "Sure." He says, and I hope he isn't going to look.          I strip down to my underwear and check to make sure he isn't looking. He didn't seem to be looking, so I quickly jumped into the water. "Oh my god, it's so cold!" I scream, but force myself to stay.         "I didn't know you'd jump in yet," He laughs and gets in the water also. His chest disappears into the water, and he grins at me. "Hey, babe," He calls towards me.          "What-" Before I can finish my sentence, he splashes me. I wipe the cold water from my face and pout. "That was childish." I huff.         He doesn't respond and splashes more water on me, face plastered with a cheeky expression.         I decide to play along and splash water his way. He shakes his head, "No, no! I was just playing!"         But I don't relent. He flinches as I continue.          He does the unexpected and goes underneath the water. I can't see him through the dark water of night, but I have a feeling he's planning something.          And I was right.          He comes out of the water, wet hair slicked against his forehead in a funny way, but he won't say anything. He's very close to me, but not touching me. I want him to be closer, to hold me, or touch me in some way, but I'm also conscious about how little clothes I'm wearing. We both are silent, but somehow aware of each other's thoughts clearly. He picks me up, and I squeal at the sudden motion, but I let him drag me to the shore line. He plops me down on the wet sand, and I wrap my arms around my nearly naked frame. My toes curl in anticipation in the clumped sand, waiting for each move he'll make. He reaches for his jacket and wraps it around me to maintain my decency. The gesture is gentleman-like, making me fully aware of how nice a person he truly is. The jacket's warm and smells like him, and I roll my head onto my shoulder.         He smiles at me, that same smile I've seen many times today, and I melt into his warm presence. His hands reach up to my face and pull a stray strand of hair from my vision and studies my features. He stays silent for a moment then pulls me beside him by the waist, so close my hips press against his side. He rubs my shoulder and places a soft kiss on my forehead, making me crave his affection more.          I ponder the risk in making a move on him, but I can't handle the anticipation much longer. "Jaebum, look at me," I say nervously. He turns his head and looks straight at me, his intense gaze not wavering an inch. I look at his lips, knowing that I won't be able to return after what I'm about to do.          The thing is, in love, risks must be taken.          So I did something I never imagined I'd be brave enough to do.         I gripped his chin softly and pulled his chin to me to make up for the height difference. I pressed my lips against his and closed my eyes, hoping he'd reciprocate.          But he didn't.          His eyes are wide open, not expecting me to kiss him first. He pushes me away, making me extremely confused as I'd thought it was clear we both were interested in each other. "No, no, no. I was supposed to kiss you first. I'm supposed to be the dominant one." He says, frustrated.          "Excuse me," I say, not even sure of how to really respond in this situation. "Are you kidding me? You were supposed to kiss me first? Jaebum, it's the 21st century. Girls make the first move now."          He crosses his arms and pouts, "You're supposed to be blushing and saying something like, 'Oh-oh my God, Jaebumie! I can't believe we just kissed!' and then I kiss you again, and you start blushing a lot while saying something weird."          "Oh my God, Jaebum! You're so strange. That sounds like you just got that out of some RomCom." I laugh at his antics.          "Okay, okay. Let's start over. This time, I'm kissing you." He says. He holds me again and places a soft kiss on my forehead, just like before.          I decide to play along with his little act and continue the scene. "Jaebum, look at me," I say, pretending to be embarrassed.          He looks my way with a face that I have to refrain myself from giggling at. He looks so serious, but I try to repress my thought.          "What is it?" He asks, as if he's expecting me to know his imaginary script.          "This," I reply and take his lips again, making him even more frustrated.          He pushes me away again, "You just couldn't let me have that moment, could you?" He huffs. He acts like he's mad, but I know I'm secretly pushing him to the edge and driving him crazy from my boldness.          I laugh, "Ahaha, no. I hope your pride can handle the fact I kissed you first." I tease.          "Y/N," He breathes.         "What-" He cuts me off by kissing me again, his hand clutching my hand. He's kissing me and I can feel his grin against me.         He massages my hand that he's holding and pulls away again. "You drive me crazy when you do that, you know? I took you all these places tonight just so I could make a move on you, but you keep surprising me. Next time I'm gonna be the one to make a move first." He says determinedly.          "We'll see about that later," I smile and lean into his chest. He wraps his arm around me, and I relax into him again.         The night is seeping into my skin, the moon gracing along each bump and curve of my body, and I know I'll always think of this night fondly.

        I felt the sweat collecting on my brow as my body moved rhythmically. I tried rotating my hips and pressing against the chair as I was directed, but something still wasn't right.         And he noticed it, "(Y/N), we'll work on this tomorrow," He turned of the music, making me frown, "Good evening, (Y/N)." I’m back?

So it’s summer and I have some free time now... I’m applying for jobs right now, so I can’t promise I’ll be super active, though.  Now, let me address some things.  I want to first apologize for taking so long to come back... months over what was supposed to be the latest I would be back. I misjudged things, and life came up. I probably should stop saying when I’ll have something up or be back for things because it always seems to backfire on me...  With that out of the way, I have some good news! I’ve written a few things while I was gone. I still wish I had more, but writer’s block proved to be a big issue along with some personal issues.  Also, I have an instagram account... It’s a multi-fandom account that is nsfw lol. Like, it’s weird sorry.  With all this said, let’s hope everything goes smoothly from here on :)

Hiatus Update

So, there isn't a sign of me being back soon, but I feel guilty for keeping y'all in the dark. I'm still working, although at my slow pace. The Hwasa fic is maybe 1/3 to 1/2 done? Anyway, I'm making progress. Anyone who's been an author for a few years knows that sometimes you just need a break from all things writing.

I'm sticking with my plan to have a few things ready when I return so that way I'll be back on schedule. I am working on four different things simultaneously at the moment. I have a low attention span and get bored if I work on the same thing too long... This is why I've stuck with one-shots lately. I'd have trouble writing a novel, wouldn't I?

I mean, I could just come back sooner, but my blog would be full of shit posts, being dramatic and emo over small things, and reposting bc I wouldn't have content for one or two weeks at a time, and, when I did, it would be shitty or really short.

Tl;dr I hope to be back by Christmas, but that's very wishful thinking. I will realistically be back around January or February.

Personal update

Hello, lovely people. I'm not dead, but my cyclothymia has taken its toll on me, and I am in an unmotivated, depressive space.

I will be fine. I've not made as much progress as I'd like on the Hwasa fic, but it's doing... Something, I suppose. The Jaebum fic is far, far away, but it is somewhere in this playground of random, compulsive thoughts in my brain.

I need to calm tf down tho. If you see my writing for the Hwasa fic you'd think I'm a deep person, but I talk much differently than I write.
