Fruit Correspondences from my google drive grimoire, before they get organized into my physical grimoire. As someone from Puerto Rico currently living in Florida, many/most of the fruits here can be found in the Caribbean and Florida, and have the cultural correspondences that I personally feel them to have from my own upbringing.
SOME OF THEM ARE POISONOUS and need to be prepared a very SPECIFIC WAY or at a SPECIFIC POINT in their ripeness. Also, some of the names are in Spanish first, because that’s the quickest way for me to personally find them on the list.

What to Do with Rogue Tarot Cards
Rogue cards are those that pop out or fall out of the deck while you are shuffling.
Premature Rogues
When one or two cards pop out before you have even asked your question, say, while you are still invoking your higher power, take a quick look at them. They might be unrelated to your question, but they are messages meant for you nonetheless. Then put them back in the deck.
Excited Rogues
When one or two cards pop out after you have asked your question, take them as the first two cards for the spread you had in mind. They want to be a part of your reading. Make sure that upon flipping them, you take them the way they came out – upright or reversed. That is how they wish to be read.
Authoritative Rogues
When one or two cards pop out after you have asked your question, and they land face side up, take them as the first two cards for the spread you had in mind. Again, make sure you take them the way they came out – upright or reversed. Not only that, after you are done with the spread, consider these cards’ messages as more urgent or essential than the others’.
Shy Rogues
When one or two cards almost pop out but never quite do, ignore them. In the short moment between their coming out and their going back, something somehow changed in your destiny backstage. The message that was meant for you no longer is.
Chatty Rogues
When you are simply talking to your deck, instead of performing an official reading, and a card or two pop out, take them as your deck’s response to whatever you said or were about to say to it.
Angry Rogues
When before or after you have asked your question, one or two cards pop out forcefully, falling on the floor, your deck is telling you one of three things: that you are asking the wrong question, that you are asking about something it already answered before, or that you are asking about something you already know the answer to. Consider changing your question or simply rewording it.
False Rogues
When three or more cards pop out, well… it means you have to get better at shuffling.

Cancer New Moon 🌑
🦀 I’m taking this time to cut off of emotional ties to people who are no longer in my life. I am letting go of emotional baggage that is no longer serving me. I am free of old wounds that no longer teach me. ✨✨✨
Am I feeling pain? Yes. Am I feeling relieved? ALSO YES

CALCULATING DOMINANT SIGNS
Ever wondered why everyone says they’re Aquarius dominant? That’s because most people use the calculator on astro.com to determine their dominants. Unfortunately, this isn’t the most accurate system because it weighs generational dominance (meaning outer planets) over personal dominance. So, pretty much everyone who has Uranus and Neptune in Aquarius thinks they’re Aquarius dominant.
But are they really most like the sign of Aquarius? Chances are, no. They won’t really relate to Aquarius if they do not have any personal Aquarius or 11th house planets. Their entire generation will. But “Aqua dom” is practically in everyone’s tumblr bio as if it is a personal thing.
I think personal planets should be taken into account a lot more when determining dominants. That’s why I created this system here - in hopes of calculating dominants realistically so everyone can relate to them more - and so dominants can more accurately depict your personality!
DIRECTIONS: For each sign, read through each statement and determine whether or not you have that placement in your chart. If you do, add the number of points listed for that placement. Consider each sign a “category”. Add up the number of points for each placement in Aries, each placement in Taurus, etc. until you have a total for each category. Compare your totals in each category and determine the 3-4 highest numbers. These are your dominants, in order from highest to lowest.
SIGN CUSPS DO NOT COUNT. See my post about cusps in astrology here. However, if a planet is about 1-2 degrees away from or “on the cusp” of a house, it is considered to be in that next house over (i.e. Saturn in the 6th house less than 2 degrees away from the 7th house would be interpreted in the 7th house).
*DISCLAIMER* This is my personal idea of how dominants should be calculated so to better represent personal planets, and I realize that it is not the traditional way to calculate them.

Nervous About Starting Witchcraft?
Let me put your mind at ease, my dear witchlings.
Witchcraft is a tool. It's not good or bad! Same with magic. It is just a tool that you can use, you choose if you want to have it be good or bad.
There are many amazing ways to protect yourself. Wards, Sigils, Spells, Rituals, Ancestors, Spirits, Deities, you have so many ways I bet at least one will click with you!
Witches and witchcraft aren't the stereotype you might be thinking of! We are all individual people and have individual crafts that reflect our personal beliefs.
You can always stop practicing if you start feeling uncomfortable with your path. You can also switch up your paths freely!

Astrological sun sign observations based on people I know:
Aries: Usually the ones who are skeptical about astrology or spirituality in general. Tend to be practical and straight forward in style and tastes. Low tolerance for bullying and good at keeping up with fashion trends.
Taurus: Insecure about weird things. If you leave them alone for too long they create masterpieces. Great for one on one philosophical conversations. Usually blunt introverts that get adopted by blunt extroverts.
Gemini: The blunt extrovert. They tend to cultivate a bad reputation with people that don’t know them well, and great reputation with close friends and relatives. Really fun to be around. Into weird art and have very distinct laughs.
Cancer: Yes, they are the mom/dad/grandparent friend. Great at giving gifts. Conservative at heart and very concerned about friends who make bad choices. Instant mood swings but don’t hold grudges.
Leo: Opinionated, self confident, and into politics. Really good at starting controversial topics without making people hate them. Often include people who would have otherwise been left out. Loyal, but hot tempered.
Virgo: Perfect on the outside, turmoil on the inside. They are good at remembering small details about people which makes them very like able. Dark sense of humour, get along well with the elderly.
Libra: People pleasing and dramatic. Gets labeled as the “hoe friend” regardless of sexual experience or activities. Blend in with most groups but awkward in front of authority. Obsessed with astrology.
Scorpio: Friends with everyone, likes no one. Lots of different hobbies or hyper fixations. Loves to cook for other people and show you podcasts. Also has mood swings but good with apologies.
Sagittarius: Stoic but friendly. Like to pretend they don’t love being in charge. They like dark music or metal and wear a lot of black. Obsessed with Dr. Pepper.
Capricorn: Focused and hard working but they have the most hilarious sense of humour. Will usually bond with one particular teacher and become the favorite.
Aquarius: Really niche tastes and very moody. Always have the best memes and are really good at video games. Really casual in their relationships and weirdly good at decorating.
Pisces: Extremely emotionally affectionate with friends. Always seems like they are on another plane of existence. Insecure in their friendships but very secure in their spiritual beliefs. Really great writers.

Basic Warding Jar
p u r p o s e - To dispel, eradicate, and keep away negative and harmful energy.
s u p p l i e s
various herbs and oils* (I used mugwort, mint, sage, parsley, eucalyptus, green tea, geranium oil, and sweet marjoram oil)
jar with lid
dragons blood incense
permanent marker
*This is a very personal spell meant to protect you, your home, things that are important to you, so use herbs and oils that you personally associate with protection/cleansing!
Mix the herbs and oils in the jar.
Create a sigil that represents protection/safety/cleansing. Make sure it is simple enough that you can fit it on the lid of your jar. (Psst… here is a great tutorial on sigil crafting.)
Draw your sigil on the inside of your lid with a permanent marker so it doesn’t rub off.
Charge the sigil in your favorite way, then hold it in the smoke of the incense. Alternatively, if you have cone incense, you can burn it on top of the lid the sigil is drawn on.
Dump the ashes in the jar, and seal the lid.
All done! Now put the jar in a safe place, and charge periodically by shaking it.
e x t r a   t i p s
You can do the same thing in a smaller jar (like a baby food jar) and carry it with you, just make sure you seal it well!
It wouldn’t hurt to recharge the sigil every so often and adding more dragons blood ashes to the jar.

Pink Super Moon in Scorpio
Feelings are deeply felt and raw. We release the things that feed off of the toxic energy around us. We release the toxic feelings within us that are blocking our way to our full potential. Purge yourself of bad habits.
I’ll be meditating again tonight. My focus will be on responsibility and accountability for what I want. What am I doing to take control of my future? What am I holding onto that I need to let go of? I breath in peace and I exhale peace.
Enjoy the moon people! 🌙✨

Tonight was my first time astral projecting on purpose.
My whole life I have been having out of body experiences, sleep paralysis, and lucid dreams. But I have never been able to will my spirit out of my body.
This has made me feel like a failure, a fake. Sometimes like I’m not a real witch. I remind myself that it takes practice, and the fact that I can do it on accident must count for something. And I think I sometimes believed myself.
Today was a bad day. I didn’t feel productive and my life sort of feels like a waste at the moment. So I thought I’d just have a meditation where I attempted to think of nothing. And I did. I focused on the spaces between my thoughts where it felt like falling into a vast room where my thoughts zoomed around me, unintelligible, but still demanding. I simply floated past them nodding to them as they crossed me. From here I felt it. The sensation of buzzing. My body headed toward a state of stillness that I cannot achieve when I am wake. I had the urge to move but didn’t. I knew this was my chance to really try it. So I let the stillness in my mind and the stillness of my body take me. As I surrendered to that feeling, the buzzing turned to tingling and it was as if my head was being drawn to the ceiling. With my head being pulled, I felt my spine straighten and open. The base of my spine felt lighter and the feeling of my body felt far away. I wanted to open my eyes but didn’t. I felt like I was floating above myself then. This is when I became scared. The feeling of being out of control overcame me and I thought about all the scary things that could happen. But I remembered that this was MY spirit, MY home, and MY experience. If I felt scared I could just ground myself and be back in my body. So I did. Feeling heavier . And just as I felt the weight of my spine, a police siren sounded outside my window. I gently opened my eyes and smiled.
I am proud of myself. I’m hoping to try this method again next time and maybe open my eyes. The real key was surrender. Always the hardest.

Magical Waters & Recipes Every Water Witch Should Know About
A few things before we get into this! Not all of these magical waters are meant to be consumed. Any waters you plan to ingest should be made with bottled water for safest results. Any herbs used should also be researched. Always always always be aware of what you’re putting into your body! Also this is for reference so it is very shorthanded with the recipes. You should have no problem finding more detailed versions online or in a book. Be sure to label your waters as specifically as possible. Date made/collected, herbs used, safe for consumption, etc should all be included. Lastly, any waters can have appropriate food coloring and/or glitter added to them as well.
Natural, to collect:
1. Rain - renewal, cleansing, adds extra potency to spells, peace, relaxation
2. Storm - strength, confidence, motivation, force, protection, cursing
3. Snow - purification, transformation, ending for a new beginning
4. Swamp - binding, cursing, banishing, warding
5. Sea - purification, protection, psychic abilities, healing, cursing
6. Lake - knowledge, memories, reflection, emotions
7. Pond - binding, restricting
8. River - moving on/forward, change, cycles
9. Dew - beauty, youth, fertility, love
Simple, charged waters:
1. Sun - purification, positivity, energy, solar magic Bask in the sun from sunrise to sunset
2. Moon - purification, balance, lunar magic, adds extra potency to spells Bask in the moonlight overnight
3. Rainbow - positivity, luck, hope, unity, money Use a mirror or another reflective object to make a ‘rainbow’ and leave water there for at least one hour
4. Shadow - strengthens secrets, hides truth, deception Bask in an area that receives no light whatsoever for a day
Advanced, to make:
1. War - banishing, cursing      - put nails and some spanish moss into a glass jar with one cup of water and let it sit for several weeks.      - once the moss decays and the color turns dark and murky, it’s ready      - meant to be thrown at the feet or on the doorstep of recipient      - can also be used as a protective barrier around the house
2. Indigo - protection, purification, empower charms      - mix one cup of water with 1 mexican anil ball
3. Infusions - usually used with fragile herbal matter      - pour 2 cups of boiling water over 3 whole flowers      - cover and leave until it cools completely      - strain into a glass container with a non-metallic lid      - store in a cool, dark place
4. Decoctions - usually used with dense herbal matter      - simmer herbal matter with 8 oz water      - do this until matter becomes limp & pale      - strain, store in a cool, dark place
5. Inks      - light a candle and hold the back or bowl of a metal spoon ABOVE the flame until it is covered with a black soot      - scrape off the black soot into a small bowl. *warning: this can be extremely tedious and time consuming      - add hot distilled water, one drop at a time, to dissolve the soot      - slowly add powdered gum arabic until desired consistency is achieved      - you can also try beet, grape or any other dark colored juice      - invisible ink is something you can try as well
6. Flower Essences Honestly, I’ve seen a few different ways to make these floating around online. I do not have enough experience with these to claim which is the ‘right’ way to do it, but, I do suggest you research it to see if it is something you’d be interested in making and utilizing in your craft. Especially if you have your own garden or greenhouse. It involves cutting fresh flowers and putting them in the sun with absolutely no shadows passing through it. I believe the process is similar to a gem essence. These are meant to be consumed, so please do your own research before attempting.
7. Gem Essences/Elixers      - place a cleansed, non-toxic crystal or gem into a clear glass bowl or bottle with water      - leave in sun or moonlight 6-12 hours      - remove crystal and add 2/3 preservative (this is the mother essence)      - add 7 drops of the mother essence to a small glass dropper      - top off with 1/3 preservative and 2/3 water (this is for use)
There are plenty other forms of magical waters and this list is by no means complete. Again, a simple search can find you more detailed versions or variations on these recipes. But I believe these are the most valuable to any witch who likes to use water in their craft.

Happiness Potion (honey milk tea)
Tumblr media
This is a tea that my mum used to make for me that I’ve converted into a happiness spell! It’s a very basic recipe, then you can make it your own by changing around the ingredients. I’ve listed some optional suggestions that you could use with different correspondents for different intentions.
As you can see, I added clear quartz crystals and a citrine crystal to charge it further with positivity. Then I stirred a sigil for positivity into the drink with my spoon (I am happy and radiate positivity). I’ll link a post on how to make sigils once I’ve uploaded one!
What you need:
2 tsp honey
½ tsp cinnamon
½ cup boiling water
½ cup milk
What to do:
Mix the honey, cinnamon and water together in a mug until combined.
Froth the milk with a milk frothing tool or by whisking/shaking very violently (Optional)
Add the milk
Garnish with cinnamon
Optional:
The ratio of boiling water to milk should bring the drink down to the perfect temperature!
With milk, you can add peppermint to soothe the stomach, chamomile to soothe the throat and encourage sleep, ginger to soothe the throat, or cayenne pepper to clear the sinuses.
Without milk, you can add a bit of lemon to boost the immune system.
You can replace the water with a herbal tea of your choices such as lavender or chamomile.
You can replace the milk with almond milk or any milk of choice.
–––––––––––––
Here’s the explanation for this spell for fellow baby witches
Spells come in many forms, including drinkable ones! You can call them potions if you like. They involve using herbs/flavours/scents etc with specific correspondents to fulfil a specific intention.
Honey signifies happiness and positivity and expels negativity, depression and anxiety.
Cinnamon signifies spirituality, success, healing, protection, power, love, luck, strength and prosperity
Milk has correspondents too! Full cream milk signifies prosperity, nurturing, protection, success. Warm milk eases anxiety and anger. Here’s a list of correspondents for non-dairy milk types by @heximari
Citrine is a crystal that boosts joy and optimism, and clear quartz is used for protection and as an amplifier for other crystals.
Sigils are statements of intent drawn up into a little picture which you can write on your skin, on a paper, or in this case, stir into tea, to make a spell work better.
