Ok but you're so right for this-- I hope you don't mind but I was a bit inspired by your post so I tried my hand at designing gym leader? I don't know much about engineering but I love welding personally, so I decided to have that be her focus! Not sure what her name is, Elaina maybe, but I feel like she'd pull down her welding mask during battles for sure-- after all, sparks from battles might be bright for the eyes!

you know what boils my piss as a female STEM grad?

the fact that we got four male Electric-type Gym Leaders (or equivalent) with varying degrees of Gadgeteering Genius but the two female Electric-type Gym Leaders we have are a model (Elesa) and an influencer (Iono).
