NEW YEAR'S EVE

Dazai/Chuuya

The heater is in the corner, under a blanket, on New Year's Eve next to your beloved.

What could be better?

Chuuya was lying on Dazai's shoulder, they had wine in their hand, the time was 11:34, almost half an hour before the new year. They had already had dinner together and were now sitting waiting for 12 o'clock at night. The neighbors had loud parties; on the one hand, joyful shouts, on the other, New Year's music, and Chuuya and Dazai were sitting quietly on the couch and drinking wine.

Chuuya broke the silence with a quiet, satisfied voice:

— I'm so glad that we can spend this night together

"Me too," Dazai said with a smile, in the same quiet voice

Chuuya took a sip of wine and snuggled closer to Dazai, closing his eyes. Dazai was only thinking about the gift he had prepared... What will Chuuya think about this?

The warm atmosphere was hovering around, tell Chuuya and Dazai that they would spend the new year together two years ago, they would have laughed. But here they are together, dating.

Dazai kissed Chuuya and hugged him tighter. It's already 11:49 on the clock, how fast time goes. Chuya took a bottle of wine and poured it into both of their glasses.

C—Do you remember when we started dating?

D — Of course I do)

Dazai smiled warmly thinking about those feelings. While they were talking about those memories, it was already 11:55 on the clock

C — The new year is coming soon...

D — I hope you will like the gifts.

Chuya smiled silently.

Chuuya and Dazai clicked their wine glasses and said, looking into each other's eyes, "Happy New Year." Both made wishes similar to each other. There were screams and fireworks all around, but none of it seemed important.

D — Open the gift, Chuu)

C — You open yours too.

Chuuya opened the first gift, inside he saw a box ...

he could not believe his eyes, he looked questioningly at Dazai. Dazai took the box, opened it and looking at his eyes said:

D—Will you marry me, Chuuya?

C—I... you... OF COURSE I AGREE

Chuuya exclaimed in surprise and kissed Dazai. Dazai hugged him.

All the other gifts seemed not so important, but still so pleasant.

When all the presents were opened, they walked along the night street and went to bed, overwhelmed with emotions.
