It’s on days like today that I love my job as a special ed teacher. I told one of my students that i bought myself a roomba and showed him the app and how it works. He has never shown that much interest in anything ever. He usually avoids talking and basically just wants to melt into the carpet. But today he talked, asked questions and genuinely enjoyed our conversation. That was a big win for him and stuff like this really makes me love my job.

How is the second acotar book going? No spoilers but I liked it much MUCH MUCH more than the first

I’m a couple chapters into the second part (house of wind), and im already liking this book more. So far my thoughts are:

If Tamlin has no haters then im dead! I’m suspecting that he’s only going to get worse. I understand why he’s doing what he’s doing, but I don’t like it. I miss Lucien 🫶🏻 though, and I don’t like that we had to leave him.

Mor is a doll and i love her - im glad someone can humble Ryhs because he needs it. I’m about to meet the rest of the inner circle, and I have a feeling that’s an interesting gang.

Excited to read more about Feyres powers and what she plans to do about all the men in her life lol. At least she can read now.

Still not a fan of Tamlin, hes kinda meh. Like im glad they’re happy and all, but her ending up with him just seems boring. If Ryhsand doesn’t stir the pot in the next book im rioting. Lucien is still 🫶🏻

Amaratha giving Feyre a reading challenge was actually so hilarious i had to put the book down. That poor illiterate girl. Lucien really saw his life flash before his eyes when he realized what her task was.
