Hello lovelies, I think about this blog from time to time and I didn't mean to let it sit for so long. There are some prompts in my inbox that I've let sit for too long because I never had the motivation to fill them, and there are others that sat because I felt bad about skipping in line to answer them. I think it's been long enough now though that I can start over, maybe pick out the ones I don't mind still writing even if the person who asked for them isn't still around to read them.

I had an idea though, to maybe get back into writing. If anyone's still there, why not send in a word or short sentence for a prompt along with the name of a character you'd like to see written about and I'll write up a short drabble to go with it?

Hmmm 🤔 Maybe you could tell me more about Ignatius? He sounds really nice (◍•ᴗ•◍) Often I see Grillbys in fell universes being made evil, so it sounds really interesting. Also besides that, how tall are skeletons in your opinion? Some people do Sans's bit shorter (around 5'5") while some make them just a bit taller (around 6').

Hi hun, I would love to tell you more about Iggy! He's a peculiar, eccentric character and he's fun to talk about. I already answered the bit about heights for you in a previous ask, so I'll focus on Ignatius for now ^_^

He's not evil, he's definitely not the most morally upstanding character either though. He's got depth to him. Sometimes stories just need an asshole or an antagonist, but I really like when characters are influenced by their situations without letting it define them.

Ignatius (Swapfell Purple Grillby) prefers to go by Iggy when in friendly company and is fond of teasingly nicknaming others with food names (like Pancake for Syrup!). He's among the more talkative of the flame elemental archetypes and speaks with a Romanian accent, good luck following his trains of thought though! He's an ace at getting what he wants to know out of someone while seeming like he's the one saying a lot...without actually saying anything of real meaning.

Before the monster war that lead to the humans sealing the monsters underground, Ignatius worked as a spy for the king and queen, though his services were more called upon by the queen. After the fall and the queen's divorce, she rapidly became a tyrant and Iggy fled her service.

He tried to make a life for himself, starting a business. Which turned into him being a con artist selling candy laced with addictive substances to claim a steady clientele. He could never stay in one place for long though with the queen trying to reclaim his loyalty or dust him for the secrets he held so his shop was constantly on the move. This went on until the queen started condoning the covert abduction of citizens and his shop quickly became a cover for information gathering and trading.

He took in many orphaned or abandoned kids, training them to be rebels against the queen after their folks were taken away for *testing* and he'll deny it till his coals stop burning but he may or may not have sheltered some of the fallen human children at one point or another. He met Berry (Swapfell Purple Sans) and Syrup (Swapfell Purple Papyrus) after they managed to escape the lab and he took them in as his own, helping them get where they needed to be to take things down from the inside and to protect them.

He's got a bit of a kooky, flirty, live life to the fullest personality when you get to know him.

If he ever made it above ground he'd try to make a legit candy business, his specialty would be liquor bonbons and his shop would be reminiscent of the candy glade from Willy Wonka.

Few small questions for Berry if you don't mind (人 •͈ᴗ•͈) What is his opinion on tattoos? I personally have a blossom cherry twig under my collarbone. (◕ᴗ◕✿) In what kind of genres of books does he write? And finally, is he a cuddle buddy? Because I want to hug him so much (⊃｡•́‿•̀｡)⊃

I absolutely never mind, please keep sending me questions even if it takes me forever to answer them! That sounds like a lovely tattoo, Cherry blossoms are one of my favorite flowers ♡

1.) Berry is all for tattoos, he and Syrup actually have matching tattoos themed after the legend of Zelda. He'd enjoy hearing the stories behind your tattoos if you have any and tracing his fingers over them if you were comfortable with it. He has a special appreciation for tattoos with meanings behind them.

2.) Berry writes short stories and novels, his preferred genres are fantasy and mystery. He has a novel series about a princess falling in love with her knight who is escorting her to her true fiancé and another about espionage and spies. He just love writing and it helps him unwind.

3.) Berry is a good cuddlebuddy, he'll let you rest your head in his lap and pet your hair while he's reading, or have you lay on his chest and read with him. When he's close with you he'll hug you everytime he sees you, and he's very touchy feely with his partners.

General headcannons for AAALLLL the Grillbys? but mostly Outertale Grillby if ya can ^,^

I'm excited to answer an ask about the Grillbies. The flame elementals are some of my favorite characters. Sorry this took so long, but thank you for the ask!

Sol (Undertale Grillby):

Sol has a light orange core that flickers into a much darker orange at the tips. His flames get wisps of cobalt blue in them when he blushes.

He fought in the original monster human war before monsters were sealed underground.

He owns a diner named after himself that he opened after he retired. He's a total workaholic despite his relaxed nature. It's the kinda diner that you and your buddies would go to after a long day at work to kick back. Groups of friends or families are more than welcome to host game nights at one of the diner tables. Yes, you can absolutely come play a session of dnd, poker, or monopoly as long as you don't disrupt the peace and are courteous to the workers!

Sol sculpts and blows glass in his free time and hand crafted all the glasses he uses behind the bar.

He is a man of few words, but he's a great listener and a loyal friend.

Flint (Underfell Grillby): Flint has a violet core that flickers into a much darker purple at the tips. His flames have wisps of lavender in them when he blushes.

He owns a bar and has a strict no fighting policy when inside. That doesn't stop him from hosting fights out back and making money off the losers though! His bar is a smokey safe haven from the rest of Underfell and if you can't respect that then you aren't welcome. You go to his bar to make deals, forget your worries for the night, or listen to jazz while playing pool with the guys.

Can and will kick your ass. Will look good doing it. Trained street fighter.

He's a total flirt but respects boundaries.

Wisp (Underswap Grillby): Wisp is a very light yellow orange colored flame, like a little candle. His flames turn candy apple green when he blushes.

Wisp owns a traveling tea shop and bakes the best tea cakes and macarons. All proceeds go to fundraisers and charities working towards making life better for all sorts of flame monsters (Pyropes, Vulcans, flame elementals), and fighting the stigmas against them being dangerous and destructive. Constantly petitions improvements to infrastructure, like flame retardant building materials, more covered areas in waterfall, housing bills preventing flame discrimination etc.

He wears a teal suit, collects doilies, and absolutely looks like an easter basket threw up on him at all times. The man embodies the mad hatter aesthetic well.

Despises being called cute because he wants to be taken seriously.

He loves organizing events and get togethers.

Has a pet fire salamander named Sugardrop whom he knits sweaters for. She is an absolute baby despite being nearly the size of Wisp himself. She has rocky, gem like patches all along her head and back. Most of her kind were hunted to near extinction to harvest those gems and Wisp does his best to help preserve her and her kind. She is long, wiggly, has six legs, a back that spontaneously catches fire, and is full of love. She acts as Wisp's emotional support salamander.

Ignatius/Iggy (Swapfell Purple Grillby): Iggy's flames are constantly flickering that shade of color between violet and magenta. He's a much lighter purple than Flint.

Iggy used to work as the queen's personal spy before the war with humans was lost and all monsters were trapped underground. He knows too much and the queen wants to get rid of him. He's constantly on the run, undermining her rule and rebelling against her heinous acts against the monster citizens.

He hides his stealth spy work under the guise of a traveling candy shop. Can and has made drugged candy in order to get information easier.

Protects children left abandoned after their parents were taken for cruel experiments by the capital. Helps the older ones rebel by looping them into his spy network. He took in Berry and Syrup when they escaped from the labs.

He seems kooky and unstable, but it's a mask to make others let their guards down.

Calcifer (Swapfell Gold Grillby): Calcifer has a bright yellow core that gets darker with the barest hints of light orange at the tips.

Mute. 100% mute. Has severe PTSD due to the circumstances of how it happened.

Super gruff asshole to anyone he doesn't give a shit about, only slightly less of an asshole if he cares about you. He hates humans, and most monsters, and well, literally everyone...except Mandy (Swapfell Gold Muffet) and Rust (Swapfell Red Papyrus). He might be nicer to you if you've got something from Mandy's shop on you when you encounter him.

He's an arms dealer.

If you need something or want someone gone, he's they guy you go to for it.

He likes the most low shelf liquor you can find.

Mesh (Underlust Grillby): Mesh has a lighter orange core that bleeds into a bright cyan at the tips. He blushes that same cyan.

Mesh owns a dance club and works behind the bar most nights. He finds dancing relaxing and fun though, so you might find him up on stage on the rare occasion and damn if that isn't a sight to see.

Mixes the flashiest drinks of all the Grillbies.

If you aren't feeling safe he will absolutely find you a way away from whoever is bothering you, a way home if you can't get home, and will test drinks for date rape drugs if he thinks something suspicious is going on. He just wants everyone to stay safe while they're having fun.

He collects all sorts of silly shaped cups and glasses.

He can't get drunk no matter how many drinks you try to butter him up with, only lightly tipsy at the most. He burns through the alcohol too quickly for it to affect him for long.

Sherbert (Outertale Grillby): Sherbert is actually more of an ice elemental than a fire elemental. He has a solid core of stone and ice and what looks like his flames are actually brightly colored gasses that show off the refracted light from his core. Those gasses swirl in various shades of yellow, pink, blue, purple, and even black, and they glitter almost like stars in a nebula (despite being more like the natural phenomenon diamond dust).

Sherbert works in the food court of the monster's space station selling frozen yogurt, nice cream, and starfaits. Everything from his shop is space themed.

He was one of the original monsters sent up into space and slowly shifted from being a flame elemental to being an ice one after years of freezing and defrosting.

He is calm, sweet, and a tad bit mischievous.

Hahaha angst queen again. That happy pill thing you just did? When NM breaks up with their s/o? Haha it is time. After a couple months when s/o is away, NM gets an emergency call from Dream. Their s/o is in the hospital with (trigger warning, suicide attempts) bc NM was their only rock, they loved him more than they loved themselves. They're completely shattered without him. Bonus points is when NM tried to leave, they're begging and sobbing for him not to go, they don't want to lose him too

It's ironic, Nightmare thinks to himself, that the one person he thought could help you the most, couldn't do the job a damn bit better than he could. He sent you away to recover, not to hear back just a few short months later that you tried to kill yourself; nearly overdosing on the one thing that seemed to keep you running for so long. It really is ironic.

Nightmare hates himself. How could he have let you get to this point without noticing? How could you call him your rock, your reason for living, when he couldn't even care enough to notice something was wrong with you.

He hates Dream. How could the literal embodiment of hope, joy, and positivity not be able to do anything to help you? How could his dumbass, ball of sunshine of a brother let you get worse while in his care? It's ridiculous. It's ironic. It's absurd.

He hates you the most of all though, because he loves you so much. He just wanted to get you the help you needed, obviously he was unfit for you to be around. How dare you love him more than you love yourself? He's enraged. He loves you more than anything and it feels worse than a kick in the teeth that you've betrayed that love by placing him higher than your health. Do you think he wanted to send you away? NO! Every moment you're apart eats him inside, but he did what he thought he had to, what he thought was best for you, and you had to throw it all away like his sacrifice meant nothing. He really hates you.

When Nightmare first gets the call, he's heartbroken and scared, and then he learns that you didn't succeed in the attempt on your life, he's both relieved and oh so very pissed. He has a fight with his brother. Neither of them come out of it feeling better, blaming each other, hurting worse than they did to begin with. The tentative truce they had looking after you is broken and there's little chance for repair in the near future.

He visits you only once, unable to bear the sight of you so broken. Your desperate sobs and pleas for him not to go will forever be ingrained in his corrupted soul, haunting his nightmares. You don't want to lose him too? You should have thought about that before you made him lose you. He doesn't care enough to think about how many others you've lost to feel the way you do about him, but you can bet he won't let anyone close enough to you to lose again if you survive this last encounter.

Optional fluffy ending:

You promised to let Dream and Sci help you through your depression and addiction, bargaining your way back into Nightmare's heart with genuine progress in your mental and physical health. It took ages before he realized you were doing better the more he was around, but once it was too obvious to ignore, he started visiting more, taking a more active role in helping with your recovery. You went to therapy to help with your mental health, rehabilitation to help with your addiction, and Sci helped prescribe a medication that was more regulated, less addictive, and better suited to help combat your PTSD and depression. You were allowed to move back in with Nightmare once you had worked through your codependency issues and your relationship was stronger for it.

Have you ever been so hyper focused on something that it's all you wanna do, all you can think about, and then you devote all your time and energy into doing it....but then wake up one morning and realize that all the warmth and happiness and motivation it brings it gone and you can't focus on it for more than a few seconds before wanting to bash your skull against a wall?

That's me.

I love this blog, it's my baby, but my life has been absolute hell dealing with medical issues and work bullshit for a long, long while and it's killed basically any motivation I have for creating things. It eats me up inside because I like writing, I love drawing, and it makes me so damn happy to be interacting with you guys when you ask questions and comment on my answers. I'm just so tired, so fucking tired, and there's nothing I can do about it.

I look at my inbox and the amount of questions and prompts fills me with anxiety instead of joy like it used to. I didn't respond quick enough, I let them pile up. "No one will want to read anything I write anymore, I've disappointed people, no one is around to care anymore," These are the thoughts running through my head every time I try and type up a response to anything and it sucks major ass. My ADHD makes it hard for me to keep any interest for very long, and it sucks when I can't keep a hyperfixation running because then it leads to depression caused by understimulation, and my anxiety is honestly so bad that it's debilitating at times.

I just want to care again.

So, I'm sorry to anyone who's still around, that I just completely disappeared off the face of the world for a few months. I can't really guarantee steady answers or anything, but I'll do my best to not let this blog die. I just want it to be a fun thing again, without any obligations or anything. I'm still here.

Nightmare gasps and sits up in bed, lights sparking brightly as he wakes before blowing out nearly completely. His ribs heave as he inhales, looking around the room. Everything seems to be in place, and your warm weight rests comfortably at his side. A nightmare. It must have been. How pathetic, the king of all nightmares being startled awake by something so silly, so beneath him. He snorts and calms his breathing, watching your own breaths softly lower and raise your chest in your sleep. He tenderly reaches down to stroke your cheek. You stir a bit but don't wake up. Nightmare smiles softly to himself. He can't believe how you can sleep so soundly next to him. In the beginning, you were the one laying shaking in bed from the many nightmares that plagued your sleep just being with him, but now, you hardly ever woke up from them, quickly forgetting them if you ever did have them. He can't believe you stuck it out so long, just to stay by his side. His chest warms with appreciative love for you and he settles back down into the bed, turning over to pull you into his arms. You blink awake blearily and yawn, asking if everything was alright. Nightmare chuckles and kisses your forehead. "nothing to worry about nightlight, just want to hold you close. go back to sleep," he whispers, nuzzling you close to his chest. His tentacles begin to curl around the two of you like a security blanket and soon the both of you begin to drift back off, wrapped safely and lovingly up against each other.

What do you imagine be the height of skele boys? I often see people headcanoning Sanses as either really short (around 5") like in game or taller, often followed by statement that all monsters are taller than most humans.

Let me start by saying that I know you asked this question in a previous ask along side another one, this one seemed a little easier to answer at the moment though so I did it first. I'll try and get to the other ask asap though! ♡♡♡♡ Thank you for continuing to send asks even when I'm so slow to answer them!!

I try not to have specific heights in mind for the boys so that anyone of any height isn't left out when trying to self insert, but usually a Sans will be shorter than the reader, reaching about collarbone height, while the reader will only reach mid to low rib for Papyrus. I do have a few exceptions for that, such as the horror boys and the outer boys since special circumstances apply to them. I do headcanon that most monsters are pretty large, but Sans always just feels so small to me haha. I'll line them up for you from tallest to shortest though so you can put yourself on the list wherever you want, and if you want a taller or shorter version for any future asks, just feel free to include that in any asks.

Spindle (Undertomb Papyrus) who is the tallest from all of the corrupted human magic he absorbed from eating so many of them.

Oberon (Outertale Papyrus) who is very tall because it's common for things in space to be larger. I think I read somewhere that astronauts come back from space with an extra inch or two! But I'd fact check that.

Chewy (Horrortale Papyrus) who is also tall from consuming large quantities of human magic, but is shorter than Spindle because it wasn't corrupted magic.

Rust (Fellswap/Swapfell Red Papyrus)

Marmalade (Underswap Papyrus) and Syrup (Swapfell Purple Papyrus) are the same height and both are prone to slouching a lot.

Papaya (Undertale Papyrus)

Coffee (Swapfell Gold Papyrus) who is the shortest and youngest of the Papyri.

Pit (Undertomb Sans) who is the tallest Sans and is tall because like his brother, he absorbed a lot of corrupted human magic when he ate them.

Cosmo (Outertale Sans) who is tall like his brother because things tend to be larger in space.

Fell (Underfell Sans)

Wine (Swapfell Gold Sans) he wears heels, but he's still naturally taller than most of the other Sans.

Tale (Undertale Sans)

Berry (Swapfell Purple Sans), Razz (Fellswap/Swapfell Red Sans), and Blue (Underswap Sans) are all the same height. Berry and Blue wear regular flat boots whereas Rass wears a pair of toothpick heeled boots to make himself seem taller.

Butcher (Horrortale Sans) is the shortest Sans because he used all of his magic to keep himself alive without eating anything for a long period of time, and never ate human flesh like his brother so he had no extra magic to absorb causing him to shrink in size.

I'm not going to lie, life has left me exhausted and depressed so I find it hard to gather up the energy or the creative motivation to answer things lately, but I appreciate ya'll for being so patient with me and sticking with me through this. Work has been hard, I had to go to the hospital, and my home life is really chaotic right now. None of these are excuses, just some explanations for why I'm not around much anymore. Long after due, the outcode yandere tendancies!

Ink: For Ink, he's never cared about keeping any one individual safe. He's all about keeping ideas alive, worlds preserved, but somehow this one person has managed to pique that same desire in his nonexistent soul. If Ink reached a yandere level interest in someone he'd care very much about their safety, doing whether deer he could to protect them despite whatever thoughts or feelings they might have on the matter. In fact, Ink doesn't care what they think or feel at all, he'd just do whatever he wanted with them, acting on impulse without restraint. Emotions aren't his thing, but ideas certainly are,and he's become hard focused on the idea of his person of interest and less so on the actual person themself.

Error: Error wants to destroy the world and everything in it....except for the object of his interest. If he becomes yandere towards someone, he'll try to catch them when they aren't paying attention or are unprotected. He'll knock them out and take them back to the anti void with him, leaving them strung up with his many strings. He'll leave them little dolls meant to look like their friends and family to 'keep them entertained' so they try to struggle to leave less...not that he doesn't enjoy sitting and watching them struggle against their bindings. He doesn't want them to become corrupted like him or blueberror, so occasionally he'll bind them up nice and tight and take them out on a little trip, just long enough to keep the creep of corruption out of their system and then he'll bring them right back. He doesn't want to touch them, just admire them and make them dance for him like his very own living puppet on a string.

Nightmare: Nightmare doesn't care about what anyone else wants, he only cares about what he wants. It wouldn't be hard for him to slip down into yandere tendencies. If he begins obsessing over someone, he'll take them, just like he took the apples from the tree. He'll kidnap them and drag them off to his castle, forcing them into whatever outfit or role he wants them to perform at the moment, punishing them severely if they try to escape or fight back against him. His dark desires rule above all else and he expects the object of those desires to play along. His negativity is sure to wear them down doin enough, he's sure of it. Once the fight has left them, he'll treat them like the perfect little pet.

Dream: Dream being a yandere is like a happy little home nightmare. He's a stepford smiling terror. When he becomes obsessed with someone he'll get super clingy, doing whatever it takes to make them smile, no matter who or what has to disappear to make that happen. Any kind of frown from the object of his obsession is liable to send him into a disguised frenzy, and if he can't do anything to make them smile, he'll make them *smile* himself. On the outside he appears doting and loving, on the inside it's all for show.

Geno: I've touched on Geno's yandere tendencies before. He's the clingy manipulative type who still say whatever he needs to to get whatever he wants from his object of obsession. He'll try and play pitiful to get them on his side and feel bad for him, and then he'll work on making them isolate themself from any kind of naysayers or support groups they could reach out to before they realize it they're all alone with him and he can have them all to himself to do whatever he wants with. It's a common abuse tactic but he's mastered it, playing on everyone's empathy to redirect any suspicion.

For the red, gold, purpel and swap papyri what would their ideal partners be like?

These are just my best assumptions about who these boys' ideal partners would be, which is not to say that if you don't fit the criteria then they wouldn't want to be with you, just someone like this would have an easier time catching their attention.

Rust (Swapfell Red Papyrus): Rus' ideal partner is someone that can take care of themself but can also depend on him. They have to be able to roll with the punches and keep on going, but he'd rather have someone soft hearted at his side. He's got enough cynicism to keep you both covered. He likes someone he can have deep conversations with.

Coffee (Swapfell Gold Papyrus): Coffee's ideal partner would be someone who is patient with him, doesn't mind that he goes through periods of nonverbalness, and doesn't mind ordering for him when they go out together. They don't have to share his interests, but he'd like it if they were ok listening to him info dumping about them. Someone who is patient, considerate, and soft but also assertive would be best for him.

Marmalade (Underswap Papyrus): Marm's ideal partner would be someone who is relaxed, open, and honest with him. He likes someone he can tease and joke around with who has a clear set of limits and boundaries. Someone who won't push him but will be willing to try new experiences and grow with him.

Syrup (Swapfell Purple Papyrus): Syrup's ideal partner would be someone who is very physically affectionate, who can drag him up from a spiral and won't put up with any of his bullshit. He'd like them to have an open mind and a sense of humor to match his weird tastes. He needs someone dependable and reliant to be there for him who won't enable any backsliding from him.

I have a short S/O situation. I am a big FNAF fan! I would like to know what would happen if the S/O was like, at afternoon sitting on their couch while playing the game on the laptop after they did their work today. (Error,Dream, Underswap Papyrus and Nightmare) coming back home/anti-void just to see the S/O halfway under the blanket while getting jump scared in the game. And their like “Man! I almost got it!” Who wouldn’t sit on Error’s couch when he’s gone forever xD

When you said short S/O I was imagining for a moment that you were asking for a character insert that was short, but after rereading the prompt a few times I realized that you meant that the prompt was a short one haha. Thanks for waiting so patiently on an answer, I was hoping to have this one out yesterday for Halloween since it was thematically appropriate, but I guess it just wasn't in the cards. I actually really love Fnaf. When the games first came out, I marathoner the first one just like in your prompt. I sat on the couch playing it on my laptop while my roommate/bff at the time spoonfed me ice cream and laughed at me every time I jumped.

Marmalade (Underswap Papyrus): "Man, I almost got it!" Is the first thing Marmalade hears when he gets home from work that day. He chuckles and shakes his head, following the frustrated squeak out to the living room where he see's his S/O shaking and bundled up on the couch in a blanket with their laptop tucked on top of their lap. He watches them until they die again, grinning when they jump up and squeak at another jump scare. He makes his way over and pulls at their headphones, whispering "boo!" In their ear and then laughing when they freak out again.

He's the type to grab you game snacks and then tuck you and your hidey blanket onto his lap while you play, tucking you under his chin and occasionally hand feeding you popcorn or something, laughing everytime you jump, squeak, or curse.

Error: "Man, I almost got it!" Error comes home to find his S/O wrapped up on his couch, jumping and cursing at the character on their screen. Their laptop being one of the very few personal items he allows them to keep in the antivoid, wanting to avoid any kind of clutter. Even the couch exists at their insistence He doesn't get why they want to purposely scare themself or try over and over again when they keep failing at this level, but he does pause behind the couch to watch them. "were you that bored without me?"

He's not going to sit around and watch you play, but if you really scare yourself, he'll promise to destroy the fnaf au verse for you so that none of your bad dreams have the chance to come after you.

Nightmare: "Man, I almost got it!" Nightmare chuckles as he makes his way into his S/O's room, tasting the fear in the air. "almost got what?" He loves when they play these games, scaring themself and feeding the air with their negative feelings of fear and defeat. "am i not scary enough for you?" He teases, making his way over to them.

He's the type to tease you while you play, poking fun when you lose and making the jump scares scarier just so he can hold you when you're done and comfort you while he feeds off of your fear and irritation.

Dream: "Man, I almost got it!" Dream hears his S/O shout from the other room. "do you need help getting something?" He makes his way into the room after knocking to check on them, seeing them jump again when he opens the door. "oh! you're playing your game!" He smiles at them, thinking about how cute they are. "you'll get it this time, i believe in you!"

He definitely stays and keeps you company, jumping when you jump and encouraging you to keep going everytime you have to restart a night.
