ok lol im about to disagree with myself bcz i actually dont like this anymore. basically bcz so bcz actually magnus is tall methinks. isnt he like britishswedish or something. arent theu like really tall. so basically statement retracted magnus is taller sorry guys.

So i have seen that the common opinion is that Magnus is taller than Alex. Which made me angry enough to write this out apparently. Honestly this is most speculated and my personal opinion because neither Magnus nor Alex’s height was directly mentioned in the books, like at all.

Ok so my first reason to believe that Alex is at least tall is in he/r initial description. S/He are literally described as lanky. (lanky- to describe someone who is tall, thin, and a little but gawky) Taking this into account with the fact that this coming from Magnus’ point of view and that is even better for my point.

I think the reason s/he is most commonly perceived as shorter is because she is also described as petite. Now, there is two different definitions for petite, meaning small in stature or meaning small in size (thinner). Since Alex is first described as lanky I choose to disregard the definition that pertains to stature.

I don’t really think I could prove who is taller,,, honestly most likely that they are very close in height, like with in a few inches. As Magnus never mentions having to look up or look down to talk to Alex. My only proof for short Magnus is in the Sword of Summer when someone compares him to a dwarf. On my next re-read I will sticky note pages for actual proof.

Anyway all this to prove my dumb headcanon.

(djdjjd i headcanon alex as 5’11” and magnus as 5’7” and I just realized I hadn’t mentioned that earlier)

Andrew/Neil- you know what. i get it. blah blah blah. i like them everytime i reread the books again but oh my god. every character is insufferable but specifically andrew so. im sorry but 4.5/10. they have good moments tho.

Kevin/Andrew/Neil- absolutely no. literally how when where who. i just cant see them ever working out so 2/10.

Jeremy/Jean- ykw not that bad i think its sweet i think its positive and i like it. so ya 6.5/10

Katelyn/Aaron- not that bad. i just dont like aaron bcz hes boring, but katelyn didnt deserve how she got treated, so pity points 5/10.

Matt/Dan- def cute. def kinda boring. def one of the better couples. but ehhhh. so 5/10.
