excuse me as i quietly rage about the fact that no one seems to understand that

neopronouns =/= noun pronouns

noun pronouns =/= xenopronouns

xenopronouns =/= emojiself pronouns

does this mean any of these pronouns are invalid? never. but that doesn't mean that people not differentiating the four doesn't make me frustrated :')

Hello beautiful mogai community! I am in need of assistance. I have some genders/gender identities that I am planning on coining but I'm unsure if they already exist. Should I just go ahead and coin them anyway? Or should I try and research to find if they do exist. [if research please please give me good resources because I've searched beyond-mogai-pride-flags and I can't find anything similar.] please advise!

Hello! I know I haven't posted in a long time (I don't know if anyone actually follows this anymore) but I need some help! I have a dozen or so terms that I've been wanting to coin but I haven't as I'm struggling with making flags for them. I've been cut off from the communities I used to be in and as such I don't have the friends or resources to be able to get help for making flags.

Would anyone be able to help? I can either post the terms and y'all can reblog with flags? Or maybe something else? What do you all think? Would anyone be able to help?

Spite- Masterpost

What is the Spite- prefix?

Spite- is a prefix added to any number of different things as a way of describing them. These can be anything from names and pronouns, to ages and genders. Things with the Spite- prefix can be used by anyone.

Spite-

The colors in the Spite- prefix flag don't have any confirmed meaning but work as a safe baseline for all other flags in terms of color. The colors were pulled from the original spitegender flag and repurposed to fit all later Spite- flags.

The original posting for this coining reads as follows: "Spite- is a prefix that can be added to any term to indicate that it is identified with out of spite or in spite of hate and controversy"

Spitegender

Spitegender is the first of many that use the Spite- prefix. The spitegender flag contains the same colors of the Spite- flag as well as black. Like the Spite- flag these colors have no confirmed meaning. It was originally coined by @camelot-dragonlord back in April 2020. Their original post (linked above) has some flag variations.)

The original posting for this defines this gender as: "a gender to spite people who think mogai (and maybe even other, non-mogai genders) don’t exist." An alternate definition can be defined as: a gender that someone identifies with out of spite.

Spitesexual

This term was coined the same day as many of the other terms and like the other terms the Spitesexual flag doesn't have a confirmed meaning.

The original posting for this explains it the best as it reads: "Spitesexual is a term for anyone who identifies with or uses a terms out of spite. Some examples include using attractional suffixes with paraphilia prefixes (ex: teleiosexual) because sexualities don’t have to be LGBT to exist, or identifying with ‘controversial’ combinations such as m-spec male lesbian because of lesbian discourse."

Spitepronominal

This was one of the first terms to come about, even before the actual Spite- prefix was coined. It was coined along with the next term at the same time.

The original post defines it as: "a term for those who use and/or collect pronouns out of spite, such as using valid controversial pronouns such as fae/faer or god/gods, or collecting new pronouns every time someone invalidates neopronouns"

Spitenominal

This term and the one above this were coined at the same time. The colors don't have a confirmed meaning aside from the mention of including the heart to show it stands out from other types of flags, being a name based flag.

The original posting reads as follows: "a term for those who use and/or collect names out spite, such as using ‘unusual names’ like ? or 🌿, or collecting ‘foreign names’ whenever someone complains about ‘such behaviour’"

Spiteage

This one is a different type of Spite- term as its dealing with transage/chronosian as opposed to MOGAI. It was made around a similar time to the other terms by a different blog.

This term is best defined by the original post: "Spiteage is a transage term for those who identify with a certain age / age range out of spite for those who wrongly infantilize you / treat you like an adult, say you can’t act or talk a certain way because of your chronological age, tell you that you can’t be transage etc."

Hot Take: Pronouns

There is so much controversy around pronouns and this is just a post of my thoughts and my takes on pronouns of different types.

This is a long post so if you want to see what I have to say hit the read more <3

Xenopronouns:

I was talking to someone the other day and when I asked the pronouns xey used gui's response was a whole list but fae ended by saying xeir favorites were xenopronouns. When I asked ty what kuu meant gu told me zey feel validated by and faer attention is caught by things like a windows start up noise or a child humming a specific note. That really caught my attention. I had never really thought about the way they worked. I feel like this opens a whole new world. Xenopronouns that are nonhuman or not perceivable to humans I feel are rare but incredible. I can understand why they're treated as controversially as they are but I feel thats dumb. If a person is happy as they are why does it matter?

Neopronouns:

I've been using neopronouns already throughout this post so its kinda clear I'm cool with them. I feel like they're honestly the best invention ever. What can possibly be controversial about them? A lot of people say that neopronouns are impossible to use but really they're not that different than any other pronoun set. Use Xe instead of He. Xem instead of Him. Ci instead of She. Its a simple concept and I don't see why people can't grasp it. Not only are the concept of neopronouns a tale as old as time, but they're something that honestly make more sense. Theres no inherent gender tied to any sets of neopronouns and it'd honestly freeing.

Emojiself Pronouns:

Ok I can understand the controversy here. "How can you have an emoji for a pronoun?! Its weird and you can't do it." Well... There are plenty of people that I know that have emojiself pronouns. Those people aren't bad people or insane. There are people who feel an honest connection to certain emojis or emoticons. Emojiself pronouns like 🔥/🔥s/🔥self or 🖤/🖤s/🖤self or emoticon pronouns like :]/:]s/:]self or ʕ•́ᴥ•̀ʔ/ʕ•́ᴥ•̀ʔs/ʕ•́ᴥ•̀ʔself are honestly unique and incredible. There should be no controversy here. It doesn't have to be that hard. I understand if people don't want to use alternate versions of emojis for verbal pronouns. But its honestly easier to use 🌸 or 🔥self over he or she in a text based conversation. I feel like I can defend these pronouns to the end of time and my arguments will fall on deaf ears but I'll try anyway.

First person Pronouns/Neoprns:

Man I just discovered these pronouns and I love them so much. First person neopronouns are things like Y/Ye/Yi/Yine/Yself or A/Ae/Ay/Aine/Aself. These are a relatively old concept but not one thats ever really used. How are these even used? Well instead of I/Me/My/Mine/Myself or We/Us/Our/Ours/Ourself you'd use a different set. It'd be like saying "Y went to the store with Yself and Yself alone. Y ran out of Yi good shampoo and Y needed to get some more. Y suppose Y should've asked if you needed Ye to get anything while Y was there." My honest thoughts are simply, I don't understand why theres any kind of controversy around these. They're personal pronouns. Why should anyone care. If I want to call myself E or Dht or anything else... why should anyone care?

It/Its and Dehuman Pronouns:

Where to start... The concept of It/Its pronouns and dehuman pronouns have been around for such a long time that the controversy around them have done little less than just grow over the years. Pronouns that completely dehumanize a person are always so frowned upon but really what if that person doesn't feel like they are human? What if that person genuinely feels more comfortable with them. My own mother has used them against me before by saying the whole "You can't use they/them on one person. Its a plural pronoun. I may as well just call you an It/Its." My response to her was simply "okay". The whole controversy around people being against dehuman pronouns, not just It/Its but other types too, is simply childish. My argument remains the same. Why should it matter what a person likes being called?

Spite Pronouns:

AH!! My favorite pronoun sets lmao. Spite pronouns are pronoun sets that you're told you can't use because [insert reason here]. These are things like: swear pronouns like Fuck/Fucks or Ass/Asses, reclaimed pronouns like nor/mal or Daddy/Daddys, controversial pronouns like BLM/BLMself or Kink/Kinks, "appropriative" pronouns like Fae/Faer or God/Gods. There is no debate as to why theres controversy around these but my argument is the same as with any other category. If its what the person wants to be called why deprive them of that? Using pronouns you're told you're not allowed to use is honestly such a strong statement against people who would oppress those who just want to be themselves.

So final thoughts: Please just be respectful. A person's pronouns are their business not yours. Don't be a pronoun police. I know there are other pronouns I could've touched on but honestly if I went much longer no one would read this post lol.

The Definition

A gender that connects to the aspect of dreams; Whether they're calm and peaceful, a nightmare, bizzare and cryptic, or any other type of dream

The Flag

The light purple resembles the peaceful dreams, where you may see meadows, or be experiencing something happy, the darker purple is for nightmares, the blue is for the lack of understanding the gender - similar to dreams due to how bizzare they are, and the mid-purple and darker blue is for anything in between.

What is Colorage?

Colorage is a xenoage related to, influenced by, or connected to colors. this can also be used as an umbrella term for any age related to different colors (ex: redage, blueage, coloragefluid, etc.)

Colorage is a term coined by @xenoage in January 2022.

The Colorage flag

The colorage flag doesn't have any noted meanings aside from a tie to the colors of the rainbow. The varying shades of the colors are more vibrant than an average rainbow of colors.

The coloragefluid flag has the same colors in the same order as the colorage flag but is different in that the lines are instead wavy.

Whats the difference?

Colorage and coloragefluid are similar but not necessarily the same. Colorage is an umbrella term that coloragefluid falls under along with specific colorages. Coloragefluid is defined as being more fluid between different colorages or colors. Colorage is more static with less change/more time between change.

Q- I feel like I fit this term but I don't see a color that feels right. Are these the only colors that colorage can be? A- Of course not! These are just the most common colorages.

Q- Is it possible to feel like blueage and also redage but not be coloragefluid? A- Totally! Just because you feel that you're a couple specific colorages doesn't mean that you're coloragefluid. You pick your labels, not others.

Q- How can a color be an age? A- Wonderful question. Colorage is a xenoage which means its hard to explain. It is defined as "an umbrella term for transage identities that cannot be fully described through their relation to concepts typically used to describe age such as young, old, adulthood, childhood, or any nurmerical age." Oftentimes people who feel that they are colorage use it as the best way to describe their age feel.

Warmgenderblanket

The Definition

A xenogender that feels like its wrapped in a blanket on a warm day. It can be either a warm or cool blanket but it feels like a blanket either way.

The Flag

The flag's colors are in two different sections, the shades of orange that represent different levels of warm, and the shades of red that represent the blanket. The off-white strip in the center symbolize the coming together of the two parts.

Multicellfluid

The Definition

Multicellularfluid is a specific variation of multicellgender that is defined by the same types of cells being able to change their specific genders at least once during their lifetime.

Generally speaking these cells ARE NOT constrained to one gender or gender set but are instead fluid between many.

The Flag

The colors are designed to look like a really soft rainbow gradient to show to soft fluidity between genders.

The Definition

Multicellularflux is a specific variation of multicellgender that is defined by the same types of cells being able to change their specific genders at least once during their lifetime.

Generally speaking these cells ARE constrained to one gender set but and fluctuate between the genders in that set.

The colors are designed to look like the sharp distinctions between genders and gender identities that cells can fluctuate between.

Multicellgender

The Definition

Multicellgender or multicellulargender is a gender that encompasses all genders down to a cellular level. It’s an ever changing gender as cells are constantly changing, dying, and being created. A multicellgender individual switches every moment of every day as the cells of one’s body changes. As one cell dies a new one is created and a new gender is selected for that cell.

When cells stop being produced in later years the multicellulargender individuals gender becomes static and only lasts as long as their cells continue existing.

Generally speaking a multicellgender individual often has a rather even mix of the different genders at any given moment. Other variants are more heavily leaned towards a specific gender set.

Multicell- and multicellular- are prefixes that can be used with other suffixes such as fluid, flux, girl, boy, etc.

The Flag

[Flag ID: A rainbow-like gradient going from red to violet from the left to the right. The gradient is made with rough edges. In the top left corner is a graphic of a cell. End ID]

The colors, designed to look like a rainbow gradient, encompass the different colors that gender flags often are designed to look. The rough edges and imperfections are made to look like a jumble of cells within a body.
