Sunday reflections. In the end.. it’s inner peace. Our goal is to help our brothers and sisters learn to become self sufficient, and find the self love and peace within ourselves so that we can all lead with compassion and take care of each other. When you love yourself, you take care of yourself! When you want to be there for others, by taking care of yourself you will be much better fit to take care of them. Healthy is beautiful. Inner peace is beautiful. No amount of money pumped into an industry to try and make us feel like we need to buy something so that we can feel good about ourselves will ever compensate for what you can access if you just look within and begin there. The heartbeat provided the perfect means to do so.” “Cardiac activity can be divided into two phases: systole, when the heart muscle contracts and pumps out blood, followed by diastole, when it relaxes and refills with blood. Beginning in the 1930s, scientists found that systole dampens pain and curbs startle reflexes. Further work traced this effect to the fact that during systole, pressure sensors send signals about the heart’s activity to inhibitory regions of the brain. Breath retention work (hold on the inhale) can have massive impacts on many and all aspects of our mechanics, physiology, and state (psychology meets behavior). If you deal with anxiety and a lot of chatter or noise there is a place where when we take a stress response and add meditation to it (holding of the breath is a stress response) you can begin to learn a lot. At first (beginner), simply observe the thoughts prior to the urge (NOT STRONG URGE) to breathe again. Learn to be okay without the need to breathe. Learn to separate need vs thought through this process. There is nothing wrong with thinking you need to breathe very early, but what were the other thoughts? You’ll have 7 days a week to play with this and learn. Swipe Right for more advanced ways of applying this. Estos cerditos tenían alrededor de 6 meses de edad. Esta fue su primera vez al aire libre. Su primera vez respirando aire fresco o sintiendo la luz del sol. Poco después de tomar esta foto, fueron empujados a una cámara de gas en grupos de 2 o 3 en la "fábrica de tocino" de Swickers en Kingaroy. Su muerte no fue rápida ni "humanitaria". Their first time breathing in fresh air or feeling sunlight. Shortly after this photo was taken, they were pushed into a gas chamber in groups of 2 or 3 at Swickers "bacon factory" in Kingaroy.
