there was also a washing machine at some point, just kinda in the woods near a house with a shelf and a LOT of detergent.

There was nothing special about it, it didn't affect the plot or bear significance in any other way like emotional attachment. I just looked at it once and it felt eerily important. Like something was gonna happen, probably something bad, and it came down to this rusty cube adjacent thing.

I had a dream one time where I: may or may not have been the father of four, briefly lived in a giant bouncy castle on illegally distributed land, got so unspeakably drunk I passed out on the pavement, lost all sense of direction and just continued walking for like five minutes, had to steal a cane from a friend's mean ex friends so I could give it back to them, nearly got detained, probably broke my ankle and some other shit I can't remember.

OKAY OKAY OKAY.

someone turned on the broiler mode, and it wasn't just canadian weather. someone slid me into the oven and now I have more ideas (red flag /j).

The fic would probably be called some pretentious shit like "NY-24-abmv-incident"... and I promise that actually means something.

It would be set after a slightly darker and more serious version of the movies ending. one in which a virus born mini apocalypse sorta wreaks havoc on new york for a while, we'll talk about that later.

(and by a while we're talking the better half of a year, in which a great many people die- SSHHHH, who said that.)

It'll also definitely feature a couple ocs and a mild redesign for the main cast. (also a completely different casey jones design, I saw the concept art which was cool. however, I'm not sure if they plan on ever using that design, or casey at all in any future mutant mayhem projects. And if they do I don't wanna completely mischaracterize them and make a fool of myself when they show up. I also tend to like more details in my designs and I miss the mask™️.)

There is also an in depth rundown of how the virus works in the making, and it will be brutal.
