how do you feel about klapollo i rly like your writing style and want to hear an essay

Oh wow-!! I didn't think I posted about AA enough for essays asks 😭 but tysm stranger! ! ! I love writing and im glad it can be joyful to others!!!

First and foremost? Absolutely insane for the dynamic. one singular normal guy and another much less normal guy wanting a pathetic tiny man? Perfection. But no. Oh no, not normal guy is head over heels, infatuated, writing a low-key, gay song rn.

But all jokes aside?? The thematic parallels? The tropes??? Immaculate. The constant stage face and someone impervious to all lies? I'm honestly upset it was never actually used properly in aa4, we got obvious hints Klavier is hiding something more sad underneath the surface but. you know. AA no spoiler rule, my absolute enemy. An aj2 is basically exactly what we need </3 so many plot points to follow through on.

I think for them ever getting together?? it's many painful months of pining, maybe years for Klavier lmao. Not because he doesn't try, he absolutely does, Apollo is just the densest. Ever. Does not understand what a flirting is, he only knows the cold, strict rules of the law.

I also think a bittersweet thing the could connect on is music :') or performance in general, I have a feeling Apollo would be pretty disconnected with music throughout his life, just for not having the time or care and maybe with associating it with his dad,, maybe trying to connect but ultimately just being sad by it, or even angry? Maybe a part of them being together could be Apollo actually coming to enjoy music, especially since one of the things he knows about his dad is that he played the guitar</3 whilst klavier can try and find a sense of individuality, I think, yk?

I also think they have a nice bickering in public/soft and quiet alone, but absolutely still bickering dynamic lol.

overall??? i love them a lot. one of my favourite aa ships i am insane over on the regular. This really took really long and I couldn't really figure out everything I wanted to talk about since I haven't watched aa4 in a while 😭😭

Headcanon Nico’s powers became self-detrimental bc of Nyx.

So. The thing is, Nico only started fading after he’d shadow travelled Coach Hedge, Reyna, and the Athena Parthenos across the ocean. In PJO, on the other hand, he was able to utilize his powers pretty well without passing out etc.

So what’s the problem? The problem is, that’s too many passengers.

And Nyx adores Nico enough to watch him jump through the shadows like a bunny, but the sentiment doesn’t extend to the hitch-hikers. Especially the Athena Parthenos, I think. LMAO Nyx would despise the Olympians.

Nyx is the Primordial of Night and wife to Erebus. What if she has the power to govern the the darkness? The shadows that Nico travels through? And she’s been lenient just bc she tolerates him, but the limit’s been crossed when Nico took too many non-darkness dwellers with him through her darkness?

And now Nyx’s pissed. Jealous, a little. So she wants him back. She wants Nico fully in the darkness that she holds.

So she pulls him in.

What would bring angst to nyx and his s/o's relationship?

Would there be any "bad pre conceived ideas" agasint nyxs s/o from others of his kind?

Also, weird question: Could his species breed with humans and have a viable offspring?? What would that child be like? Would it be more human with some rabbit traits or the opposite?

While I'm the main proponent of no NSFW prompts this is plain scientific curiosity and that I encourage

If Nyx's partner has a uterus (and if he wasn't either ace due to my preference or just did something out of curiosity) I'd say it's similar to two animals from sister species having offspring. A donkey and a horse can produce a mule but mules can't have offspring together. Due to unmatched chromosomes from the horse and donkey counterparts mostly, so they're infertile.

If a rabbit-hybrid and human had a kid, it would be low chance, and would take on more traits of the more dominant species, a human.

This could work many different ways, but mostly how you phrased it, a rabbit-hybrid that looks more human like than others.

As for your first remarks, absolutely.

Nyx is a prey species, his family is a prey species and they live in a community of burrows where other rabbit-hybrids live. Humans are by nature predators and as such are usually larger, stronger, and far more dangerous. Humans do eat rabbits, I have before when my folks hunted some down and added them to the family gathering menu

Nyx got off on the best foot with his human because they(you) saved his life, proving that humans can be just as helpful as they can harmful. For Nyx, it takes a long time of convincing his family to just meet you, and also to let him leave the burrow again because he promised to meet up with you and they were terrified for his life.

Cause to rabbit-hybrids or prey species hybrids, humans are hunters, carnivores at the top of their food chain by sheer force of will and intelligence, having grown to outrank their own predators. Humans are feared, respected from afar for the good that they can do, but mostly feared. In a way it's almost superstitious like when a human talks about fae

"never accept their food or else you'll be hooked" humans are just damn good cooks. "Never allow them to take you away, you'll return knowing little of your own world and remember unfathomable knowledge." If you let a stray cat come inside it's gonna get socialized to a person through effort. It's gonna forget how to survive on its own bc it's taken good care of by it's human and will learn how to 'converse' with humans and human ways. Am I making sense?

There's also generally separation between humans and most prey like species. Obviously some couple together but it's a more unpopular thing to see and can be a bit difficult.

There's also a power imbalance in the relationship that's always needing to be remembered. Nyx is small and weak compared to his human partner, he can easily be scared by them and while sometimes it's fun, his human has to remember to be calm with him. One big explosion of anger towards him and he'll fall back on instincts and flee and hide. Then it's an emotional mess for everyone because you scared your bunny boy and he wants to feel safe and only feels safest when you hold him but you're the one that scared him and he's lost at that moment.

Challenges but damn the sweet moments make it worth it

I know Hachi songs have been out forever on JP, but with them coming out on global reminded me; it's so funny Hachi agreed to have his songs in prsk. Especially Sand Planet. The song about how vocaloid is dying? As a community? The song that caused the second ever commissioned song of the game to have personal verse saying "fuck you!" To Hachi? He's been proved wrong by the game he's in and that's amazing.

As annoying as new and old fans can be with vocaloid, every batch has its bad apples of course, I am really happy to see vocaloid make yet another resurgence. I love the competitions they do for newer or smaller producers to get their song in the game! I'm listening to 'Where shall we go?' by Mellowcle rn which recently won one of these competitions. It's amazing!

So never stop laughing that hachi songs are in the game, I won't!

I started to play the new tale so you don't have to.

First of all i need to mention that asra is one of my fav LI of the game and reading this story makes me want to punch him in the face.

Not only the writting is bad but you can clearly feel how forced they tried to pull up liked trope of the fandom. The storie dosen't make sens, when you start asra is wearing Nadia's gift outfit ( for no reason ) and say he needs to find a spell ( why ? Idk ) and so you guys jump in the oasis to go find the magician to ask for guidance, he yeet you to the beach where you want to save sea turtle ( no reason too or plot revelance )

I can't even explain what is suppose to happen next as the storie makes no sense but i can tell you what it feels like : a wattpad bad fanfic. Asra is creepily in complete adoration to mc ( repeating at least 4 times in 3 scenes that mc is pretty and that he loves them ). The interactions are just full of jokes and tropes known in the fandom ( like woaw you have fluffy hair ) .

All of that with no background music, weird sliding buggy animation, weird choices offer and really high price for heart scenes ( wich apparently by the comments only work once, if you replay you have to repay it )

I had to stop playing because of how bad this made me cring.

Anyway, well my expectation were low but i am still dissapointed

I dont think remus gets hornier around the full moon. I do like the idea that the further from the full, the easier it is to get him in the mood.

He, canonically speaking, doesnt like anything that reminds him of his lycanthropy, including his patronus shaped like a wolf. Part of it is due to the stigmatization and exclusion from the society he experiences as well as internalized self hate, but I do believe at least part of it is that he associates it with everything he fears - loosing control and pain. He gets sick for a few days before and after the full, during which he is very weak. The transformation is painful and sometimes leaves him hurt or wounded. Afterwards he is exhausted and again, in pain.

For me this doesnt sound like the greatest set up for sex. I think Remus gets moody and irritable, snappish and acts like he hates everything and everyone (Sirius has to fight tooth and nail just to get him under the blanket for a cuddle). The way I see the full moon's physical influence is comparable to getting a flu, rather than being on a period*. Someone in the replies to that one post mentioned a change in hormones, but unless you hc him as trans*, I dont really see how the full moon would cause that?

So, I would say the further from the full, the easier is to get him in the mood (not that the new moon causes him to be horny, but one might come to that conclusion, when he is - in comparison - more horny around the new moon than the full. this is just his regular level of horny, that gets suppressed when he is in a stressful situation & experiences pain and fatigue)

*That doesnt mean I dont see the parallels and analogies etc. Remus as a werewolf has a cycle and it makes it very easy to hc him as trans (for many reasons, not just bc of the cycle, obviously). And I do love a trans remus hc with all my heart <333 But then the change in hormones / having a cycle is an addition to or a stand in for the full moon transformation, not a direct result of the full moon.

i'm gonna be honest, at first i was a little put off by the attitude of Nyx's human. but the more stories you wrote, the more you built up the world and the relationship, i actually grew to like it!! irl im not allowed to be even remotely aggressive, and i certainly don't have the physical capacity for hard labor or anything like that. but the fantasy within the story makes it believable!! like, the cognitive leap from "this is a world with animal hybrid people" to "hey maybe i can be a little mean. as a treat." isn't very dramatic nor does it throw me off of the story. even if something is too far-fetched for my individual reality, it can be justified by saying that that's how Nyx perceived it. and since he's not human, he wouldn't phrase or comprehend the event in the exact same way a human would.

sorry if i rambled but idk, i just really like Nyx and consider that part of the appeal is seeing how he reacts to a partner that he perceives as contrasting to himself.

First I'm so glad you've come to enjoy his stories! I've enjoyed having a series where the humans are perceived as scary and as it's usually a perspective from Nyx he can be an unreliable narrator

Of course, I exaggerate some things bc I can be aggressive and need my own outlet so I use these stories as well, but also I've adored how the world around his stories has grown to a blend of something cohesive and more natural feeling for the setting
