Hi im bored here is a breakdown of the color palettes for (most of) the 2024 f1 grid:

The many men of deep winter:

There are four deep winters on the grid, as follows:

daniel ricciardo, yuki tsunoda, lance stroll, & carlos sainz

my thoughts and feelings regarding these people and their palettes:

the fact that lance's race suit (and fernandos but we're not there yet) fit in their palette makes perfect sense, im convinced this is an element of aston martins driver selection process (look at how his skin is GLOWING!!)

yuki and daniel ALSO have team colors (the white and navy) that match their palettes, but daniel plays with color a bit more outside work.

the autumns of both soft and deep:

there are seven autumns on the grid, as follows:

soft autumns: fernando alonso, oscar piastri, & george russell

my thoughts and feelings regarding these people and their palettes:

like i said for lance we love nandos race suit being in his palette.

oscar's papaya *kind of* fits but he doesnt wear much other than his white tshirts outside of that sooo papaya photo it is. the teensy bit of blue on the polo needs to be the base color for him to glow

george actually dresses to his palette veeeery well. he sticks to his light neutrals, im picturing him and carmen at wembley this year (their hunt people for sport outfits specifically)

deep autumns: charles leclerc, lando norris, lewis hamilton, & alex albon

my thoughts regarding people and palette:

lando you can do so much more for yourself. lando the papaya matches you perfectly (unlike closely for oscar) but outside of that wear some PURPLE PLEASE. theres a reason your skin is glowing in the new quadrant announcement video because it is your COLOR.

charles...your all white outfits.....take a look at the colors to avoid king. if youre gonna wear white i beg of you, wear cream.

lewis youre perfect sweetie never change.

alex you made my life difficult by having fifteen different hair colors but this recent era is SLAYING becasue you are dressing and EDITING YOUR PHOTOS TO MATCH YOUR PALETTE. KEEP KILLING IT.

the complicated summers:

there are two soft summers and one classic summer:

soft summers: max verstappen & logan sargeant

logan you have fourty diff eye colors but the dolphins colors match you (except the orange) and we love it for you

max you dont wear anything but your team kit. its fine we still love you.

classic summer: pierre gasly

Sodapop loves you with his whole heart.

This boy has so much love for you that when your away from him he actually cries.

staying up late, i should go to sleep.

wandering the halls was not unusual to you, practically an everynight occurence by now. being a prefect, they let you get away with it.

having practically been adopted by minevera and poppy— they understood your trouble with sleeping. they understood why, and they understood aimless walking helped.

they'd always stood in and gave a good word, dumbledore couldn't have been bothered to punish you anywho. some nights you'd even wonder drunkly, mumbling to yourself as you let students slip passed you without punishment.

you had a name to uphold— but you far from respected or supported your family. one of blood supremacy and hypocricy, unfortunately the children of families like yours were forced to adult more than those of age.

you were just like that, so much weight on your shoulders that you far from bothered to let your thoughts hurt you. you'd become responsible for ignoring them.

similarly, you'd become familiar with sirius black through this similar ideaology. familiar. you were far from 'friends', though people with similar stories, two who found comfort in one another from afar.

this led you to be familiar with all the marauders, though you'd far from a mustered a word to any of them— they knew you were on their team, when needed. at any word you'd betray your dreaded house.

i should go to sleep, its tuesday but i can't stop— thinking of your skin

there was one exception to your marauders rule, you had spoken to one. more than spoken, you'd held dear on many occasions. whom cared to much fot everyone around him.

you'd been practically forced to a gryffindor party— sirius had insisted on you recieving an invitation, though he was not the messenger.

he'd begged regulus to offer you the invite, even though he hadn't invited his younger brother. eventually, regulus gave in. you felt obligated to go, with how much trouble he went through to get you there, how could you refuse?

however, no one seemed interested in you being there. weird looks from many angles, strange glances your way. with the exception of one individual.

james fleamont potter.

james had practically thrown himself at you, a million questions filling the air before you could even shake his hand. regardless, you answered every question, and he listened to every answer.

when he'd realized you came alone— he vowed to spend the night by your side. introducing you here and there, inviting you to random drinking games.

and at some point something had clicked in the both of you.

you could hardly remember, but it was spin the bottle— or perhaps seven minutes in heaven? it didn't matter what game it was, you just remember you'd kissed and sparks flew.

you were both so drunk you didn't know if james remembered anything either, you just remember him. they way he smelled, the way he smiled at everthing you said, the way he looked at you.

he treated you like the world revolved around you, he was the earth circling around you. but it only lasted that night, because when he'd found you the next day he'd lost the courage to speak to you.

you still had your reputation— more than half the school still saw you as an enemy. you were a cruel and feelingless person to them. so how could james fleamont potter ever justify you wanting to be with him?

i've been known to be a hopeless, no good, nobody. and they're right.

you could sense why he didn't come back, though you'd assigned a much different explaination than he.

you were a bad look on his reputation, an outstanding quidditch player. an outstanding gryffindor, brave and caring. the real question was never why would you want to be with him, but rather why could he want to be with you.

not that it mattered anymore.

you knew you were a hopeless case— sirius had changed, he'd fix his side and found a way out. but you hadn't, and likely you never would.

you had no friends, you spent no time partying, with the exception of sirius' one invitation. you were a nobody. scary to anyone who hadn't heard sirius' tales of you, worthless to anyone in your own house.

you somehow rubbed everyone around you the wrong way— a bloodtraitor to your family, a blood supremesist to people whom you wanted to defend, not enough to all your slytherin peers.

it made sense that he never came back. he must've been ashamed to some extent, he was so much more than you'd ever be.

i know your eyes can see right through me. but believe me, it's my pleasure.

tonight went differently for you, your restlessness brought you near the gryffindor tower.

deep down something within you begged for you to sneak your way in and find james. but your mind would never let you, there was no chance you'd ever have the bravery to do so.

in all ways, you knew even if you had he'd understand too much. he knew your every feeling, even if you kept it hidden.

after one night of gestures you knew he was your perfect second half, he knew you more than you knew yourself. and oddly enough, you returned that.

you knew he drained himself, he was too compassionate for his own good. you knew he could never love you publically because no one knew you.

no one knew your parents hated you, no one knew it was because you'd defended muggleborn peers, no one knew you had plans of running away.

no one knew you'd never get that mark, that you'd never defend it's honor. but he did, and that's why you both stood at a crossroads.

he had a reputation too.

one that no one saw through, everyone believed they knew him. he could do no wrong, and too anyone you two were polar opposites. but too eachother you were practically the same.

you cared too much, just like him. you drained yourself with worry, and he knew how much it'd taken you to get over the fact you'd never be the perfect kid.

you'd never be what your parents wanted, you'd never be cherished like him. unless it was by him.

and something inside you found it comforting, the idea for once you couldn't lie. because he'd never fall for it.

he was the same as you, and he knew you didn't need fixing. you weren't broken, and neither was he. flawed, possibly. and that was the most comforting thing about him.

he didn't need to work for you, and you didn't need to work for him.

i miss the sea, i miss it's sandy beaches, salty breeze. and it reminds me of you.

because it's so sweet, you're so sweet, you're so sweet.

knocking on your head, you'd come to the conclusion you needed to leave. find your way back to your room, and move on.

in a way you felt hollow for having a heart, as if your brain could only be seen as brilliant if your heart stayed cold. because your heart led you to a common room of people who hated you— whilst your brain begged you to forget and regret.

but once again he showed how similar you two were. as if he'd known you'd he at there, he appeared at the portrait. he looked sleepless, suprised that you were there, yet also as if he'd been expecting you.

"y/n?"

he looked like a painting to you, groggily rubbing his eyes, voice the same as always. trying to illude to the idea he'd been sleeping— though you saw right through him.

"james.."

"what're you doing here?" he stepped out, closing the painting behind him.

you took a deep breath, weighing your head and your heart— as if it mattered. he saw right through you, even if you lied right to his face.

"did you need something..?"

"you."

his eyes widened only slightly, he knew why you were there but the clarity was almost frightening. he couldn't lie to himself anymore, because you'd come clean to his face.

"i know i disappeared im sorry, i know you've got a reputation, i know.. i just—" you sighed, fumbling with your words, "nobody knows me like you james, and all it took was a day for you to see me. i mean.. i missed you. us? its cheesey i know but.."

"one moment."

you watched him disappear into the common room, leaving you with your thoughts. your head was spinning, there were butterflies hitting every wall of your stomach, had it been too much for him? had you read him wrong?

he came out a moment later, a jacket wrapped around his shoulders, wand in hand. he stood with a second coat in his other hand, one which he held out to you.

you took it, pulling it on— even if you didn't know his plans, then he held his now free hand out, you took it.

"how about a walk?" he gave you a smile, pulling you along.

you two indulged in a comfortable silence, you just enjoyed holding his hand. even if you weren't sure it'd happen again.

i dont care how you want me to live my life, as long as i'm in yours.

he didn't lead you anywhere in particular, leaving you the silence you needed to grow the courage to open up.

and eventually it worked.

"i'm sorry i came so late, i didn't think you'd even catch me."

"i wasn't sleeping anyway, you can always show up." he looked at you again, raising a brow, "what's wrong, bubs?"

you could feel his thumb rub over your knuckles, it felt endearing. the way he acted, the way he treated you, it was as if the two of you had been dating an eternity. however, you'd never even started dating.

i know how whiney i sound right now, but i can't help myself.

"i think—" you sighed, stopping in your spot, leading him to do the same. you could feel his eyes on you, he couldn't read you anymore, and it scared him. "i think i really like you, james."

"i mean like.. like boyfriends? like i want to get out of my house, finally befriend sirius.. i mean not be whatever the hell everyone thinks i am— i want to be whatever you want i just want to be with you."

he looked at you hesitantly for a moment— he wasn't pondering whether he wanted to be with you or not, rather trying to decide how to proceed.

"i've been waiting to hear that." he turned fully to face you, "but, i like you too. this way, you don't have to be different. just what you want to be."

i know your eyes can see right through me.

its like stupid shit like saying

"i made this post in response to seeing other people focus on izzy being gay instead of his other canon traits i find more interesting" and then flipping around and going "im not telling people how to interpret his character!"

being like "theres other canon queer characters to focus on that arent izzy whos not canonly queer" and then backtracking to "im not saying people should focus on them instead! you can focus on who you want!" like thanks glad you tagged this so ppl searching for izzy content can see a post about how they could be focused on a diff character instead.

going "take a step back and remember that izzy isnt canonly gay" and then somehow claiming "i meant that his gayness is more subtle than other characters not that hes straight! of course i believe hes gay!"

somehow claiming to just be pointing out the difference between subtext and canon while also saying that its a post in response to people not wanting to validate an interpretation of izzy as homophobic something that is FAR more subtextual than izzy being queer. like can make a connection of "izzy insults ed for being weak which means he associates weakness with femininity and femininity is a shorthand for gayness and therefore izzy is a homophobe" and yet insisting that its a reach to be like "izzy is queer because hes in love with his male boss and wants to fuck a lazy twink" bc you can only be explicitly queer if you either kiss a man on screen, say youre gay, or [checks notes] blush at lucius complimenting your cheeks despite "staring at lucius' lips and clearly wanting to kiss him (an interpretation confirmed as canon)" not being good enough

its so childish and dumb like be honest at least 😭 you made a post that wasnt true because you got distracted by your own interpretation of a character to a point of forgetting that izzy canonly does some p gay shit. youre not telling fans how to engage with fandom, youre just letting them know that theyre doing it wrong and telling them what the right way to do it is but dw yr not forcing ppl to believe this.

and then have it framed so any negative reaction is overly emotional responses indicative of a fandom too defensive of a character, who have the audacity to meet a post at face value and fairly criticize it for being inaccurate, condescending, and within poor fandom etiquette where people just straight up dont want to see PSA's calling a queer chara they like straight.

the idea that hierarchical polyamory or having differing levels of priority on your relationships w others is inherently like, malicious or toxic or Stupid And Not Understanding Relationships Fundamentally is so baffling to me, of course no one person is gonna fulfill ALL your needs (or at least not usually, or at least thats not really gonna happen for me as an aro+aplspec person), and thats exactly WHY i like putting my relationships at diff levels of priority, (for example) my partner who i Just like to snuggle with and kiss is Not gonna be as pressing as my partner who helps me raise my kids, like...... that and its comforting to me cause i dont have to pretend all my relationships are on the same level all the time, sometimes i dont wanna date someone OR sustain a whole ass friendship with them i Just wanna be sexual with them. and if they were honest back and told Me 'yeah i dont wanna make this a whole thing i just wanna do stuff whenever we wanna do stuff' i wouldnt feel Insulted or whatever, id feel Relieved!!

Mmmm love to read abt the unexplored dynamic of Caleb being The Other Man to Yeza's marriage to Veth, and the two of them consciously being courteous and kind to one another but both aware that the other could try and block them out if either of them thought they were getting in the way of Veth's happiness

Hmm very interesting question anon- thanks for asking! Idk if i can really rank them since i only have the one OTP, but i can certainly give my 2 cents on the most popular pairings, according to the interwebs.

2 things to keep in mind:

i dont hate/dislike any pairing. I dont care enough to waste energy doing so. I like what i like, other people like what they like- simple as that, i cant understand why its so hard for ppl to grasp this concept

You may be wondering about my recent tag usage because ive been tagging a lot of diff ships- mainly for my anti-SNK139 shitposts. Just had a wild idea that maybe- JUST MAYBE, we could all put aside our differences and just have a laugh at our shared misery. Because idk how any of us are supposed to be happy with this ending. I mean, upon reflection I see what Isayama was going for, but idk its just tough to swallow unlike Levi's fun juice. Which, in my opinion, should be taken as a compliment- the man set the bar so high with the previous arcs that our expectations were thru the roof despite a rushed final arc, and he just...missed the dunk? Anyway hot take, i know.

Ok i digress- to the ask, in no particular order:

Levihan

Cute ship, very fluffy. Who doesn't like best friends to lovers trope? And theres no denying they have mutual respect for each other, which is a huge kink of mine. Honestly, its hard for me to ship a pairing if it isn't evident. That said, does this pairing get my ovaries going? Eh, not particularly but i still likies

Erehisu

I was behind this ship mainly because i was sold on Eren's "Walter White" villain arc. What better catalyst for a dramatic change in character than if their child was involved? The idea that Eren went full Hitler because he got Historia preggers and wanted the child to grow up in a "free" world? What parent wouldnt sell their soul for that goal, given the world they live in? And Historia- grappling with the knowledge/morality of Eren's plan but for the sake of the child? Prime for character development. Not to mention all the blatant crumbs. But Isayama went NOPE.

Eremika

Oh boy. So, firstly, i would have readily accepted this ship if Isayama laid off the one-sidedness a bit. But he didnt. And while im sure there are instances that can be interpreted as mutual affection, i dont see how that excuses all the times Eren snapped at her/just generally annoyed with her attentions. Like, we dont know his POV at all until the very end which retroactively you can say, oh he didnt want to cause her future pain? But by then its too late for US. And in the end (im not clear on this tho/too lazy to check) was it ever made clear to Mikasa that he reciprocated her feelings? Im prob biased/self-projecting here, but I would NOT have stuck around on the off-chance that the dude is faking his disinterest?? Even if he did save my life and is my childhood friend! You dont owe someone love because of that, but because of how you mutually treat one another. Anyway i woulda taken the fucking hint and moved onto Levi's dick, i would never put up with that nonsense

Eruri

These 2 are bonded, to say the least. They hold each other in high regard and i love that about any ship. Good stuff.

Ereri

Doesn't do much in the ovary-dept for me relationship-wise, but man, this ship is popular for a reason. The fanart for this ship is TOP TIER

Yumihisu

Again, they regarded each other highly and theres no denying they deeply cared for one another. Sometimes love doesnt give a shit what genitals you happen to have, why cant ppl understand this? We all got hearts and souls, that counts for something??

Aruani

The energy for this ship is a little tepid for me. Maybe because her ass was stuck in a crystal 70% of the story, but i liked pre-crystal annie alot. If anything, i preferred her dynamic with Eren more, mainly because Eren respected her so much and she contributed a lot to his character growth in the first arc. Just my preferred dynamic for a ship. Also she kicked his ass so much i was beginning to think he was into it

Jeankasa

Dont mind it at all. I think it lacks a certain degree of intensity that i prefer in my ships, but theres def mutual respect there and im all for it.

Jeanpiku

Thought this was a cute ship that came to bloom in the later chapters. its intriguing dynamic- falling in love with the (former) enemy kind of way.
