This is the interlude between Wicked Hearts and Wicked Eyes. You MUST read Wicked Hearts or else you will be spoiled while reading this short briefing of what happens to the reader.

You took a deep breath. Your eyes lingered around the room as you tried to figure out what words to say. The sofa beneath you was comforting—distracting almost. The silence of the room made you feel at ease enough to take a nap. “Erm. I…” You began. “I’m amazed at how much I’ve been able to do all of this time. I’ve met so many people and I’ve made so much music that I never thought people would enjoy.” A small smile graced your features. Your hands stayed folded on your lap as your gaze went towards the center of the ceiling above you. A voice invaded your ears.

“So, would you say that you’re grateful that Dio Brando turned you into a vampire?”

Your eyebrows furrowed at the question. Your head snapped towards the voice, almost offended at the wording until you remembered that this was your therapist. You calmed down, frowning slightly before lowering your eyes to your lap. “N-No. I wouldn’t say I’m grateful, I’m just…” You trailed off. “I’ve just tried to look for the good in all of this.” You told the woman. She wore a lab coat that had the “Speedwagon Foundation” logo embroidered onto it. It’s been around 50 years since the last time you saw Dio. 50 years you’ve spent as a vampire too. You needed to take on different identities as a singer to get away with such a thing. Eventually, everyone would know something was wrong with you if you didn’t.

You accepted Erina’s request to come to New York and you’ve been here ever since. You couldn’t say it was too different from England. The people were still horrible towards you. You were always put down for being a woman and for that same reason, men believed they had a chance with you. 

And they didn’t like taking no for an answer.

What possessed a man to get violent when a woman rejects their advances? Only God knows.

“I see.” The female therapist sighed as she took notes of the things you were saying. “Do you hold any resentment for Dio or would all be forgiven at this point in time?” Her questions made you shake your head slightly. “He can’t be forgiven but I want to believe that he’s learned since then.”

“What about you? Would you be able to forgive yourself?”

“U-um. Yes. Maybe.”

You looked at the clock that had been ticking in the corner of the room. It was rather easy to tune it out. You’d been in there an hour already. It was time to go. The fabric of the sofa you were was audible as you stood. “I guess that’ll be all for today. I’ll see you here next week.” The therapist stood from her chair as well, closing her notepad and gathering your things. “Yeah.” You sighed before pursuing your lips. It’s really been so long and you’ve been mildly scarred from that night. Your immortality was a reminder of how powerless you truly were against him. No amount of fame or fortune you acquired from performing made you feel better after a while. 

Today was the day you would be traveling back to England to visit your mother’s resting place. It’s been a long time. Maybe 30 years? You couldn’t tell but you would probably be grateful to your mother until the end of time. She taught you so many valuable skills. It helped you figure out life so much faster. 

You visited your mother and wanted to stay there for a while before members of the Speedwagon Foundation came barging in to give you the phone. Someone was calling you?

You accepted the call to hear your great nephew, Joseph, on the other end of the line.

“Hello-“

“GREAT AUNT (Y/N)!!!” 

“J-Joseph? Why are you yelling? Is something wrong? I told you that I was leaving New York for personal-“

“I know, I know, I know but you won’t BELIEVE the trauma I had to endure just now, all for the sake of blah blah blah and then Straizo actually used the mask to turn HIMSELF into a vampire, blah blah blah”

As you took in the information, you didn’t know at all what to make of it. You knew Joseph wouldn’t like or be vile enough to play such a prank on you. 

“W-Wait, so you fought something called…Pillar Men? JoJo, I need you to slow down. You know what? I shouldn’t have left. I should have come with you on this little adventure of yours!”

“NO! NO!! The Pillar men EAT vampires. If they got to you Granny Erina would’ve been SO angry with me!” 

“Good heavens! Joseph, I truly don’t know what you’re on about but you have me worried, I’m coming home with the Speedwagon employees.”

The years went by so quickly after that. Joseph began to grow up. He married a girl he met on his adventure that sounded like make-believe. They had a cute little daughter named Holly, who seemed to gravitate toward Japanese culture. Shortly after that, Erina passed away. You attended her funeral with the rest of the family. She was the only thing keeping tied to this family for so long. You stuck around as a family friend but as time went on, the common knowledge of you being a vampire and your connections with Dio became less common. It was hidden from Holly.

Holly had a son as well. You didn’t take any time out to go and met him for the first time. So much more was going on in your life now. Your songs began playing on the radio, as singing had become your most successful career! The late 80s were such a dream. You had watched the world grow and evolve from what it used to be. You felt like…a princess. You were adored for your beauty and voice. 

During your performance for the night, it was interrupted by Speedwagon employees. This has never happened before. It must’ve been an emergency. Fans were outraged while others became sad. Why did their favorite singer get ushered off stage by a bunch of men in uniforms? This was the only time they could see you in person.

As you were being driven away, you had been informed of something…

Something you wouldn’t believe.

Something that you’d never hear in a million years.

There was a coffin found on a boat with a lot of dead men. It had “DIO” written above the latch. The men were drained in the same manner you saw Dio drain the woman in front of your eyes over a hundred years ago. 

If Dio was back, you needed to be as far away as possible. That’s why they sent the men to get you.

But it was too late.

Your scent was intoxicating to the vampire and he would rest at nothing to find you. The vehicle you were in was attacked and after that, there was nothing you could do for the men who were tasked with protecting you. Dio was much stronger than before and you couldn’t tell why. 

Dio only agreed not to kill more people if you came with him to Egypt.

Dio was alive and well. 

He never died.

Post-TYBW. Ichigo is between 18-22 years old in this and interactions where he’s about to finish high school or already in college will be set in this verse. He’s just trying to lead a normal life… Or as normal as life can be for someone like him, at least. Though the war left deep scars on his soul & he will often have nightmares about the things he had to endure during it, he’s doing his best to heal & to finally find happiness.

He does end up finding said happiness when at last, he allows himself to acknowledge the romantic feelings he’s had for his long time friend Orihime Inoue for a while & soon after graduating high school, they start a romantic relationship.

Pre-TYBW, Ichigo is a high school student doing his best to protect his loved ones from ill-intended creatures (and keep his grades up while he does so, not an easy task).

Given how powerful Ichigo has become & how much he’s done to aid Soul Society in times of hardship, he has the potential to become a captain should he choose to leave the world of the living & join the gotei 13. In the end however, his human side speaks much louder than the shinigami one, love & devotion to his family keeping him in the human world– aforementioned family grows, when he gets married to Orihime & they have a son named Kazui. 

He’s between 23-29 in this & has mostly healed from the traumas caused by the war. He works from home as a translator & still acts as a substitute shinigami every now & again. He’s absolutely elated that he can finally have a peaceful life alongside his loved ones while still keeping in touch with his friends from Soul Society.

( ⋆⁺₊⋆ ☾⋆ ) v: shattered windows & the sound of drums; people couldn’t believe what i’d become. | AU.

AU with adversitybloomed

Ichigo’s powers grew far too strong for even his human body to handle & it got to a point where his mere presence in the world of the living was disturbing the balance between the human world & the spiritual one. Left with no other choice, he goes to Soul Society, has to live there now. He isn’t very pleased about that & as he isolates himself in a forest to sort out his thoughts & feelings, he ends up running into a girl, Mulan– a goddess? He doesn’t fully understand what she is, but doesn’t matter. To him, she becomes a savior, the one who gives him hope and helps him comprehend and truly control his own power, so that he can be able to return to his world, to his family eventually.

( ⋆⁺₊⋆ ☾⋆ ) v: a fate that cannot be shattered. | AU.

Follows the same idea of the AU above, where Ichigo was forced to move to Soul Society due to how great his powers have become, but with a twist: in this, he decides to join the Gotei 13 & learn how to be a “full” shinigami. He does struggle a lot with leaving his human life behind though & will frequently think about giving up the whole embracing his shinigami side thing and just trying to figure a way to return to the world he once belonged in.

( ⋆⁺₊⋆ ☾⋆ ) v: that orange haired shinobi. | crossover; naruto.

Ichigo lives in Konohagakure, has lived there his whole life. When he was around 4 years old and his sisters barely older than newborns, their parents were killed during Kurama’s attack to the village– leaving them as orphans. He, however, never directed his anger towards Naruto like everyone else did– never blamed him for what had happened either. Because his late mother had taught him to be kind & wherever she may be now, he wanted her to still be proud of him. Besides, Naruto was just like him… An orphan boy, lost and confused who had to figure out how to take care of himself. He’s always sort of felt sympathy towards that poor boy.

And that sympathy later turns into true admiration after Naruto saves the village from pain, despite having been mistreated by most of the villagers his entire life. Ichigo thinks the other really deserves the title of “Hero”.

As for his abilities, Ichigo can perform ninjutsus and genjutsus to satisfactory levels, but his strong suit is taijutsu & he will sometimes use a sword to fight.

This is mostly live-action based as I’m not caught up with the anime! Ichigo is a skilled swordsman, having started his training & becoming one after the small village he lived in was attacked by pirates & his family killed in the process. He swore to himself he would become strong to fight cruel people, pirates like those who destroyed his home. Now, he doesn’t really have a place to call home anymore, he’s always traveling– going from one place to the next, hunting down pirates who commit horredous crimes, such as the ones he witnessed when he was but a child.

Hello, so I'm not heterosexual (I'm ace) and as you can tell I do like one of those ships in the poll. I thought your language was very harmful. Now, I'm not here to say those characters are nice people but that doesn't mean their fans like them because they are "hetero" and just like a hot guy. They are good characters and had cool dynamics with Kagome (yes that's subjective and you might disagree with it but some people did enjoy it). I do agree that Sango should have been on the poll but there are legit reasons people enjoy darker ships or enemies to lovers trope, they can be engaging to some. So to dismiss it as just "hetero girls liking a hot guy" is very bad. The reason I'm sending you this ask is because I think you are a good person and might recieve well my comment. I considered sending an anon but I wanted you to "see" me as we talk and I hope I don't get any harassment over this from others. Anyway, thank you for reading.

First of all thank you for sending this message non-anonymously! I know it can be stressful but it is definitely better for discussions. If I see anyone sending you hate over this I will fight them personally.

When I said “this fandom is painfully straight” I did not mean “every single person who likes these ships is straight”, that would be ridiculous. But it IS a straight ship. My point is that gay ships are almost never taken seriously in this fandom, as shown by the fact that people ship Kagome with all the male characters she canonically doesn’t like before shipping her with girls that she actually likes. I find that sad. Literally the only gay ship in this fandom that has a sizable fanbase is Inu/sess, but that’s another can of worms.

I’m not here to change anyone’s mind about sess/kag or kog/kag, I’m very much a ‘ship and let ship’ person. Those ships have existed for years so I know very well that me saying “Kagome Higurashi would never canonically love these guys” is not going to change anyone’s mind. So I’ll spare you the whole rant but I’ll say that I’ve read some sess/kag stuff (Raindrops and other fanfics I found years ago) and I’ve never seen Sesshomaru portrayed as anything other than a kind, suave, gentleman who saves Kagome from Inuyasha the toxic, two timer. His canonical racism and lack of empathy for others is gone. So I have a hard time believing people when they tell me they love the ship because it’s a “sexy villain/heroine, enemies to lovers ships” lol. Anyway like I said, I’m not going to change your mind and you won’t change mine, so no need to argue about this.

Also for added context regarding the “gay ships aren’t taken seriously” issue, a couple weeks ago a bunch of people on Twitter (inukag shippers) made tweets saying they were “disgusted” by the fact that many people headcanon Moroha to be a lesbian. That her blushing at and complimenting girls is “not evidence that she’s gay” and that the “real canon” is that she will end up with Koga’s son (who doesn’t even exists in any Inuyasha media!!!). It’s not an isolated issue with Sesshomaru or Koga fans, as I pointed out the people doing this were inukag shippers and they were called out by other inukag shippers. This fandom as a whole is just not the most friendly when it comes to lgbt+ stuff.

So yeah, I have nothing else to add. I don’t see how my language was harmful if I’m being honest. Regardless of people’s own sexual/romantic orientations this fandom mostly talk about and support straight ships. This isn’t really a call to action either, I’m not telling people what to ship, I was just jokingly pointing that out and hoping that next time people would just consider the fact that gay ships exists as well.

c!dream always looking at c!tommy, always. c!tommy falling into extreme paranoia when c!dream’s name is as much as mentioned. c!tommy hiding in a cave addicted to invisibility because he’s so scared of being seen. c!dream hiding in a decaying prison writing on the walls. c!tommy’s horror at the idea of killing c!dream even if he is his abuser. c!dream turning from surprise from c!clingy’s attack to tormenting c!tommy specifically immediately after.

c!clingy’s life only being spared because they begged and begged in terror. c!dream dragging c!tommy to the prison and beating him further when he refused to obey. burning c!tubbo’s items but keeping c!tommy’s in his inventory.  an experiment that either leaves him a test subject or has him as the one person defying c!dream as always. c!tommy falling into feeling helpless again once his symbols of freedom were destroyed. ““dream doesn’t want me dead.””

c!dream laughing at c!tommy’s pain like it’s entertainment. c!dream blaming c!tommy for everything even as c!tommy tries to show him kindness. murder and instant revival again to prove a point. pausing at a sense of understanding he’d have been furious for anyone else having. “i don’t want to be alone” as an explanation for tearing someone’s life apart. dying hand in hand the only way to end the cycle, and it starting up anew regardless.

I don't have a problem with Sunbeam's chapter. It's fine. Still a bit boring, but fine.

Also I hope Rowankit dies because I don't like him because I'm still mad they wouldn't let him be a grey she-cat (ik some people hc him as trans and that's fine and cool but I just find it so boring that they're a Rowanstar clone now). Yes Tigerstar and Dovewing are one of my favourite canon ships. Yes I think it's extremely cute that they had a second litter. But YES I am mad about Rowankit.

Nightheart's chapter is... Weird. I'm glad he's happy with his name, but everyone else is SO pissed and for what? Finchlight literally stood up for him when he wanted to change his name. She encouraged it. And now she's acting like it's some sort of big betrayal he went behind her back about? I mean, what?! I really get what people mean when they say he's trans coded now, though. Myrtlebloom telling him he can 'still change his mind' is. Yikes!

I LIKE Nightheart and his unreliable narration. I like him thinking every problem he has is huge and that his life is SO hard, I like him going 'I'm not spoiled! I've never been spoiled in my life!' But when it comes to his name he is actually so right. I am a Nightheart apologist. I know a lot of people don't like it but I actually kind of enjoy the direction they've been taking with Mothwing's character lately. She's older now, she's lost so much, and she's hardened. Sometimes I think she's afraid to get close to new people now, she's lost everyone she was close with. Tadpole, Sasha, Hawkfrost... Just recently, Leafpool died, Willowshine died, Mistystar died, all in a row, and even Jayfeather has kind of turned against her- all cats she was very good friends with. And she's become more sharp around the edges, more gruff, far less friendly. I do wonder if she's just trying to avoid getting hurt again.

THAT SAID Mothwing is my #1 favourite warrior cat and I know that she's stressed but her going 'You just watched your mother die in front of you and you're depressed as fuck but I'm getting sick of organising patrols so you have to stop being depressed' Is so AAAAKAJDJKSJDJD. MOTHWING I'm going to punch you in the face.

Quick side note, why did she jump straight to Willowshine instead of mentioning that she lost her brother? Is it because she has mixed feelings over Hawkfrost's death? Or is it because Willowshine is more fresh in her mind? Surely she'd say Mistystar instead if that were the case. Does Frostpaw just remind her of Willowshine?

A few predictions:

Frecklewish dies. Literally everyone is coming to SkyClan for catmint. Fidgetflake doesn't know what to do and gets caught in the middle of all the clans fighting over catmint.

Bramblestar handles the greencough situation poorly and gets overthrown

Just like every other greencough plot ever, everyone is like 'omg this greencough is so devastating what are we going to do!!' then only like 5 cats in total die of greencough and everyone goes 'wow that greencough outbreak was so bad, what a tragedy, so many cats died!'

The writers have forgotten that Frostpaw has something weird going on and just give her a normal connection to StarClan. They also make the green-eyed cat Willowshine

sukuna is definitely cat coded so biting as a love language all the way!! and he slightly pushes his head against yuuji’s hand when he’s running his fingers through his hair. yuuji wants to tease him for acting so much like a cat but he just can’t because sukuna looks super at peace when his hair is being pet.

appreciating each other’s scars is one of my favorite things ever with any ship that i like so i can’t thank you enough for putting that idea in my head. he would kiss them all the time! you’d think that he’s kissing yuuji on the corner of his mouth but sike he’s actually kissing his scar. also he definitely kisses his knuckles because they’re so powerful yet so gentle + in general think it’s a part of the body that sukuna values a lot so kissing him there holds a lot of meaning

and well the last one is simply canon. yuuji being a good cook and sukuna’s main interest being eating? literally made for each other. sukuna would crack an eye open and peek at menus displayed outside restaurants while yuuji is out shopping with his friends then he’d later tell yuuji about the dishes that piqued his interest and yuuji would take him there. he would feed him and ask him to be discreet but then a waiter would make a friendly comment about yuuji eating by himself and sukuna’s mouth would pop out again saying “oi he’s on a date with me!” scaring the guy away ahzhahshs sorry but everything is funnier with kuna being inside of yuuji. also this prompt reminds me of a fic i read (i just spent half an hour trying to find it again with no success T_T) where yuuji bakes sukuna’s favorite cake for his birthday but everyone who passes by the kitchen steals a slice so at the end yuuji is left with only one slice and he eats it with sukuna in his room. i like to think that yuuji would want to recreate sukuna’s favorite dishes so he can taste them again + it’s yuuji’s love language!

sorry for the super long answer but one last thing before i shut up: i like the idea of them influencing each other to the point that it sticks with them forever, even after they part. like sukuna recognizing any sign that yuuji is feeling something, like maybe he starts cracking his knuckles when he’s nervous and sukuna notices both when he’s inside him (and is quick to talk to him to relax him) and when he no longer is, like yuuji is standing in front of him and his eyes automatically dart to his hands and notices. or yuuji finding himself using sukuna’s ancient and peculiar ways of talking like megumi says he has a plan and yuuji goes “enlighten me” and megumi looks at him like “??? you don’t speak like this” and yuuji is like “ah sorry. sukuna’s fault” stupid examples sorry lol but yeah i love them so much. again thank you so much for this ask <3 healthy sukuita i love u

008. ⸻ Please be aware that my portrayal of MK1!Bi-Han is not 100% canon-accurate. While I tried to make as little changes to the character's personality and backstory as possible, some aspects of him will be based on my own headcanons. The writing for him in MK1 is annoyingly inconsistent, contradicts itself on multiple occasions and sometimes even makes no sense at all, so I won't be adopting much of it into my portrayal. Do not expect me to write Bi-Han as a one-dimensional joke villain just because ❛ it's canon ❜ in the current timeline. If that's the portrayal you're looking for, you might want to look for someone else to write with. That said, this blog will feature different versions of Bi-Han from different timelines, so please do specify the timeline you'd prefer for the plot to be set in. For now I only write Bi-Han as Sub-Zero and I haven't decided on whether or not Noob Saibot will become a secondary muse on this blog yet, but it's well within the realm of possibilities.

I. GENERAL.     this multi muse rp blog features characters from a variety of animanga & video games that all have their own share of mature themes & content , all of which will be tagged accordingly. as some of these series are ongoing, i will tag spoilers ! i am unaffiliated with all fandoms. common decency is expected as well as basic roleplay etiquette. please do not godmod which includes my muses’ actions, thoughts, likes/dislikes, and reactions ( assumptions that your muse makes about mine is fine ). i’ve had issues with this in the past and would rather not run into it again. i don't send in passwords or anything about reading rules, it's a common courtesy so please be assured that i read everyone's rules before following / following back!

II. SHIPPING.     i am open to all kinds of relationships. feel free to come and  discuss it with me. all relationships will happen in their own separate verse. i practice ship exclusivity, meaning that i will be shipping with one portrayal of a certain muse if there’s chemistry. i expect the same etiquette in return. please do not ship with a muse of mine and ship with another person who writes the same muse as me, it makes me uncomfy.  let me know if you click better with someone else, i won’t take it personally.

IV. V. PORTRAYAL.     it might be helpful to read the muse about and verse pages to understand my interpretation, portrayal, and headcanons for each particular muse (when i get to updating them ahem). for now, feel free to ask questions until i get those pages up hehehe...  there will be times where i am most definitely canon divergent as i don’t agree with everything that happens in canon. this may also pertain to relationships in canon that i might not agree with as well.

VI. Arasol <3 - 5/10

I used to be a strong Arasol shipper actually! I always thought they were super cute and I liked the thought of her dragging his ass out of his hive for ADVENTURE! Although I think Aradia is too... free. Shes a wildcard, a free fairy, she doesn't wait on anyone. I just think she needs someone who can better tie her down, or be able to keep up with her rather then be dragged along. How I enjoy this ship is very situational, I think it would work better flush then pale because of the nature of the two quads, but I mostly see them as close friends, or ex-lovers who just become really good friends

Mitula <3 - 9/10

These two are GOOFY AS HELL BRO!!! In my top ratings charts for sure! What more is there to say? Imagining she can let her guard down with him more easily then some others, they both get GOOFY with it! She handles any outbursts or breakdowns of his pretty well, and they are both just SUPER comfortable and protective of each other! (Latula more so then him, she did threaten Damara in Open Bound over Mituna afterall). 100% that couple who would tell the other they have a crush on someone else, and the other would be in full support like "YEAH!! GET IT BABE!!!" and are probably publicly affectionate because they are Too Cool to care. Overall love these two <3

Meowrails <> - 10/10

THE SILLIES EVER!! SOOOO SILLY GOOFY!!! A top ship 100%, I could dedicate entire posts on why they are SO good and yummy. I know I have in fact wrote entire paragraphs on them already after all (Mod Jade has gotten a taste of these rambles before.) To keep it simple though, they are the two autistic moirails who compliment each other and actually *see* each other for more then "Weird Sweaty Horse Boy" and "Weird Roleplaying Shipper Cat Girl". They help support each other, care about each other, and help the other grow in their own ways too. We were DEPRIVED of more amazing content of these two being pale.

I think I can understand where this one comes from, but personally it isn't my cup of tea! Eridan might be grouchy sometimes and yeah he can get on Feferi's nerves, but I never really saw it more then Feferi sorta being like that? As well as I can't really see Eridan having too huge of pitch feelings for Feferi, that's like one of his childhood besties! Ex-moirails sure, but they used to be SUCH goofy friends! Just a low rating because I can't see it happening in really... any quadrant, but even LESS so in the pitch one. I think even if they ended up *disliking* each other, it would be hard for that to turn pitch, based on how Fef was already disinterested in being in a relationship with him. Also, I just don't think Eridan could really... be pitch for her. Again, silly goofy friends.

Karezi <3 - 5/10

I remember while reading Homestuck, I sorta liked this ship, but it never really piqued my interest very much. I think it could be silly and cute, mostly based off of their goofy interactions that they have had in canon. Karkat had a HUGE crush on her after all, and she liked him too. It was super fun in the comic, and I don't really hate it, but I don't really care for it either? It sorta lands middle ground for me. Personally I prefer them as just good ol friends! (With maybe some past romantic issues, like ex's or smthing along those lines)

Johnrezi <3< - 8/10

I LOVE Johnrezi, it was one of my big time ships for a while! These two pitch idiots WILL prank you and you will be pointed and laughed at. Although I could see Terezi taking it a bit too far and that frustrating John, which just adds to that pitch flavor. Brain isn't braining, but I think they bring out more of the chaos in each other and it is VERY fun to see.

🧠Kuina is his sole confidant. Chishiya will tell her all of his plans without a shadow of a doubt that she would betray him. Deep down he knows that’s not how she operates and he values her opinion on his ideas above everything else.

🧠On his travels through Borderland, you bet Chishiya will stop off at abandoned shops to scavenge little gifts to bring back to Kuina. He’ll pay close attention to the makeup brands she likes, taking mental notes of the names and grabbing whatever he can from the stores in order to surprise her whenever the occasion calls for it.

🧠Whenever Kuina is upset at him or feeling down in general, Chishiya will put his crafting skills to work and make her little pieces of jewellery as a peace offering. From necklaces to bracelets, he’ll use her favourite coloured beads to make it more appealing to her. With all of their past arguments, it’s safe to say that she has quite a few.

🧠Chishiya will happily lend Kuina his gadgets whenever she’s going off to a game without him. From his taser to little bombs he’s made, he’ll make sure that she’s well prepared even though she’s a weapon in herself. The words ‘come back to me in one piece’ are always exchanged before she leaves, along with a kiss to her cheek for good luck.

Aww thanks anon! :D I just think the idea has so much potential for drama - and the fact that Claire and Marie are both around the same age, both introduced in series 10, and both canonically spent time in care means it makes so much sense. I think they probably wouldn't get on just at first - partly because they're so different, and of course the little detail of Marie being a Supernatural fangirl, while Claire is fully aware that the characters are very real and basically ruined her life. I also love the idea of them being forced to be roommates (if you've watched Wednesday, I could totally see them having sort of a Wednesday/Enid type dynamic 🤣), and Marie is super friendly at first bc she's always wanted a sister! While Claire is straight-up mean to her at first, because she wants her own space to brood and be a moody teenager, and NOT some fangirl who keeps infodumping about Supernatural, and telling her how much she reminds her of Dean Winchester. And the worst thing is, she can't tell Marie how much her treating it like a fun story triggers her - because that would mean having to admit it was all real, and who would believe that?!

But maybe despite everything, they begrudgingly begin to bond. Because Marie is a very loyal friend - and maybe she tells Claire about some of her own trauma, why she's in care, and they start to realise they're not that different, and Claire just finds it nice to meet someone else who understands what it's like to not have a family, to have been abandoned by everyone you care about. Maybe she even stands up for Marie a few times, when the other kids make fun of her for infodumping about the Supernatural books all the time - I also love the idea of neurodivergent Marie, bc honestly why not! And that's another thing - Marie understands what it's like to be different, to not fit in to society, and maybe she's even the first person who Claire comes out to - and who accepts Claire for who she is.

Then one day, Claire finally lets Marie lend her one of the Supernatural books - just because she's curious. How can the fictional men Marie idolises so much be based on the monsters who took away her dad?! (Also it gives her a sort of petty satisfaction to see how badly the books are written, how dumb the front covers make Sam & Dean look!) And she starts to see the full context behind everything that happened to her and her dad - why they all did what they did. And it doesn't exactly make her feel better, but it does make her realise that not everything's black and white, that not everyone's a hero or a villain. And it's sort of nice to know that losing her dad wasn't completely for nothing.

For a while, she thinks about telling Marie the truth - doesn't she owe it to her, now that they trust each other with so much? But she sees how much the fictional world means to Marie - how important the escapism is to her. And Marie's had so much else taken away from her - how can Claire take this away too? So in the end she just lets it go, even though it does sometimes still sting to hear Marie talk about Sam, Dean and Cas so enthusiastically, as if they're nothing but a story.

In the end, it's Marie moving to another foster home that sort of makes Claire go properly off the rails. She's pleased for Marie of course - the new home is much more suitable for her, with no cruel kids to tease her, and she sounds so happy when she messages Claire about all the new friends she's made, people who truly accept her for who she is. But also... it hurts. Marie doesn't need Claire anymore. Claire's the one who's been left behind, as usual. And she's got nothing left to lose.

In a version of season 10 where Claire takes on Cole's role (another concept I love!), I like to think that Marie's Supernatural musical is the trigger. Because when she finds out it's all real! Meets Sam and Dean even! of COURSE Claire is the first person she tells. And by this time, Claire is bitter enough to want revenge again - and now she's suddenly got a very good idea of where they are.

I do think Claire and Marie keep in touch, though - and once Claire goes to live with Jody and the girls, I definitely think Marie comes to visit once or twice. I can definitely see her getting on with Patience, and maybe Jack and Cas if they're visiting too! (Maybe Kristen can come along, so she can have her Casgirl moment & meet her idol!) And I like the idea of Claire and Marie joining forces to gang up on Dean, just a bit :)

basically i saw this pretty relatable post about mental health from tiktok saying “realizing as a child that if you anticipate and fulfill everyone’s needs around you, and abandon your own, then they’ll rely on you and you can pretend its love and affection”

steve or eddie much? im saying steve, bc it reminds me of your steve and canon steve. hes known as more of a babysitter or ex bf than an actual friend to anyone but dustin and robin (it feels/seems that way to him) so he makes sure he can do everything in his power to make ppl happy because one they deserve it. two, it means hes good for something in their minds. he’s always had to prove himself but due to learning disabilities hes unable to live up to some of those expectations, but what he can do is take care of people, make them laugh, and love on them. part of him really loves the reliance ppl have on him and the thanks he gets because yeah that is something for once other than harsh words and touches. its really only the love and affection he gets besides some robin friendly affection and dustins hugs and pats.

it isnt until eddie that no one notices. eddie notices because maybe he knew someone that way (i imagine his mom but whatever fits for you if you decide to add this hc to something) he notices how steve does a bunch of stuff the kids needs but fails to take care of himself. once summer is around its worse. steve only does the bare minimum, but he forgets to eat and sometimes even fix his hair up. hes too busy driving the kids around, making sure max is feed and has other things she needs, holding little get togethers at his house, etc. for some reason he’s memorized everything about other ppl. one day eddie asks what he likes and he just forgets. he doesn’t know himself all too well, because if he does stop and think about himself he’s afraid he’ll hate himself more or lose focus on others.

anyway, eddie makes a mission to start doing things for steve instead and to give him as much love and affection as possible. he is more touchy, says a lot of praises and affirmations, makes sure he gets himself his favorite foods, comes over to do hair/skin/body care, and everything else steve may need. he makes sure steve knows he’s loved by kissing him on the face and holding him where ever they are. steve just eats it up.

And of course, it's not like the Hpyno-shade program would be framed or pitched to Camila as a Bad Thing either. They'll help her focus and remind her what's really important. She'll be trained around other "troubled" individuals, etc., etc. The other option was They take Luz anyway.

Besides, it's not like Camila doesn't love Luz. She does! Genuinely truly loves her daughter. But she is a single widowed mother trying to provide for a kid who does HAVE Problems and Camila makes mistakes like everyone else.

I think there was a misconception in the fandom as a whole that I might make a separate post about later but the gist of it is, I think people see Camila as either this horrible inattentive mother who didn't understand her daughter...or as a paragon of motherly kindness who does her best...which, honestly? The truth is probably she's somewhere on the upper middle end of a good mother there, the two probably have a disconnect and don't communicate. It's because we saw so little interaction between Luz and her mother throughout the series. I'm excited to see what happens in season 3.

Now, there are two separate ways I can answer the folk song part of the ask. Disregarding the fact that all the "mainstream" Octoling music artists are DJs, the first way I could answer is probably the most lore-friendly to splatoon. Looking at how Octavio is presented to us throughout the game, what with his kabuto helmet and what I believe is a kimono in the sunken scroll and one of the octarian bosses being The "Octo Samurai", it's safe to assume that the octarians are coded as Japanese inspired which...has interesting...err...connotations. That we are definitely not talking about now.

Which means that octarian Folk songs are probably Japanese Folk Songs. Which, I'll admit I am not...terribly familiar with. Because that's a HUGE selection of songs and history that I'm just not familiar with.

However, this is an AU and I am more familiar (slightly) with Spanish folk songs. There is a fairly good record of Mexican folk songs by Alfonso Cruz Jimenez which has the kinda soft sound I can see singing in the quiet. But if you want specifics specifics, I can absolutely see Camilia singing Tú Eres Mi Sol as a lullaby for Luz.

Now! If we really want to pull from their Dominican roots and have more fun with it because come on, of course, we do. There is the Merengue genre which is this really fast dancing style that I would describe as high energy, it feels like it's constantly in Cut Time for any music nerds out there. Luz would like something fast and fun and be goofy too while the two danced and sang along. An example would be La Dueña Del Swing by Los Hermanos Rosario or basically anything by Joseito Mateo but I personally like Éxitos En Vivo.

Fairly certain that the last paragraph could be applied to headcanons for canon Owl House. Course they would also probably have fun singing just about anything as long as it was together. Camila seems to be, to me at least, the type of person who would sing while cooking? Luz as well now that I think of it.

Anyway, that one escaped from me haha. I think I am physically incapable of short posts! I would love to hear what people think they should listen to. Both in canon and in the Squid House AU. Haha, Luz probably has some really interesting music tastes in canon. Good Ask by the way!

Gonna document my dream while it's still fresh in my mind, nyooooom-

For those who are only interested in the part with Sun, skip to the part below the cut. 👍

It started with me in a Minecraft world... except literally everything looked hyperrealistic & not blocky at all. It kinda looked like game graphics, but also real-life.

I remember being in broad daylight, floating in a large body of water (probably an ocean) & looking at a range of tall mountains. Was I swimming, or was I in a small wooden boat?... I 'unno. :/

Time skip, don't know how I got here, but now I'm underground in a large, spooky cave system with lots of unknown light sources. It all looked like Minecraft torch light, & the bumpy, chunky stone walls were that same gray color as in Minecraft too.

I'm walking around, exploring, when I soon come across these two random people who spoke & behaved as though they're important side characters in a movie. I'm guessing they were young (possibly tween) scouts who were out & about looking for stuff for their group or whatever. They were kinda like... in between annoyed (not at me) & friendly. They spoke to me casually.

While we chatted, we moved up onto this kinda short, chunky, rocky platform that was mostly formed naturally out of the ground & rock wall. Looking at it, on my right side, there were stairs carved into it. They were wide, uneven, & a little dusty (reminds me of that one place in Arkansas). Past the platform's stairs was a passageway leading to more caves with less light. When on top of the platform, I looked both ways of the skinny underground ravine we were in. We weren't terribly high above the ground. Oh yeah, some people are afraid of heights... Anyways-

The two scouts asked me a few questions & talked about occasionally seeing other people mining down there. They seemed to find it strange that seemingly everyone has found at least a few diamonds each. I then proceeded to ramble about how to find diamonds, where the best underground level to look for them is at, something about lava pits, blah blah. I even handed them a small, mostly clear bluish-white diamond for them to hold & look at (maybe even keep). The whole time I rambled, I felt like I was explaining this stuff to them in the same voice I use for customers (currently a cashier irl, yippie~).

I, of course, mentioned my bro (he's better than me at Minecraft) who conveniently showed up & found us after that. I gave him context, & then he & the other two started chatting. He told 'em all about the stuff he finds when mining & gave 'em tips & stuff, then he moved on to explore those darker caves I mentioned earlier.

I continue to chat a little more with them as I move down the stoney stairs, absentmindedly taking note of the fact that I'm stepping into a dimly-lit... party aisle? The same one at the store I work at?... Okay, yeah, sure. Dream-logic, amirite? The conversation ended there before I stepped in there. When I turn around, I see another dimly-lit aisle across from the one I'm in, this one looking like the... crackers & chips aisle... Yeah, the same one at th-... Okay. Everything else surrounding these aisles looked like I was still in the underground ravine of a cave system.

Those same two scouts were now chatting with a new p- SUN?!?!

He looked like... a mix between his canon design &... some random fan artist's design of him. It was like... his canon appearance was tweaked & made a little less "creepy" in a non-horror future canon game?... I... I don't know how else to explain it at the moment. Just... He looked nice. Modestly pretty, I guess you could say. 🤔

I couldn't help but just... stand there & stare, dumbfounded, watching as he playfully snuck around & kept ducking in & out of the snacks & chips aisle while chatting with the scouts.

I was conflicted: I love Sun, & I was actually excited & happy to see him there... but I was also surprised &... Aw, what's the word? Something a bit negative... I felt something negative... Stressed? Worried? I dunno, I just didn't wanna be an annoying fan bothering hi-

He suddenly turned around & was STEPPING TOWARDS ME-

"Did you say something?" He asked in a completely unbothered, happy, friendly tone of voice.

...

WELL THEN. 9u9

At the same time, he had stepped towards me so suddenly & so close to me that I was very startled; so startled that I fell backwards. I managed to keep my head from hitting the floor during the fall, unable to break eye contact & staring at him with shocked, wide eyes. He was leaning forward & towering over me with his hands held behind his back respectfully, eagerly waiting for me to say something. "Well?" he asked encouragingly.

As happy as I was to see him, I was determined to not bother him & get in his way... or whatever. Still not breaking eye contact, I stubbornly stick out my free hand (I was using the other to prop myself up from the floor) & do the "shooing away" motion. I kept flapping my hand until he started leaving.

"Oh, Okay! Okay, I'm going!" Sun said as he raised his hands & backed away, then turned to walk away. It was like he was thinking, 'Oh, is this what we're doing? Okay, I can do that, no problem!' He kept walking until I couldn't see him anymore. Finally... I was so worried about that interaction, y'all. Golly...

The dream ended about there... except it... didn't?

I dunno, bro, this last part felt so surreal & strange-

I was suddenly in this... white void of sorts, & I found this nearby geometric lookin' white table thingy with a small, thin booklet thingy on it. There were some papers & stuff too, but not an overwhelming amount. Everything was so dang pale with super light pastel colors.

What were the booklet & papers about?

It was like I had just left a simulation & was asked about my experience, but the simulation was literally a dream... & now I'm in another dream being asked about the dream I just had inside this dream? Huh?

I swear I thought I was awake with my eyes closed at first, but halfway through this part, I realized I was still asleep. I did not conjure up this white void survey scenario thing willingly.

I remember skimming through a few pages of the booklet as well as some of those papers, thinking "Did I sign up for a program that monitors & studies the dreams of people looking to understand their own dreams or learn how to lucid dream? Am I in some program that promises to give its clients better dreams or something?"

The details here are fuzzy, but there may have been a few dozen people in there spread far apart in the void. A few or... maybe all of them might've had their own tables with booklets & papers & in the same boat as me. Also, I can't remember for sure, but there might've been a calm voice (probably female) "pre-recorded" & talking to us (reminds me of self-checkout machines at stores).

The whole time, I couldn't stop thinking about the previous scenario with Sun... It was a dream...
