cant sleep gonna say my thoughts.

I think what a lot of people miss about tumblr (and especially unfocused blogs that, say, aren't fandom oriented) is that it's essentially an open journal. it's a microblogging website, and all blogging micro or macro is fundamentally a web log (where the term comes from!). if it seems like I'm not talking ab something enough, it's not because I don't care at all.

It's because first and foremost, this blog is a piece of my soul that I am choosing to share. I'm not trying to be an activist on the internet, I'm not trying to sway anyone to my opinions. I'm saying the things I think and feel. If I talk ab american politics too much, that's because im american. if I'm writing frustrated posts about performative internet activism, that's because it feels exhausting to be out there doing the work (because that's what it is. Its work. Its boring and taxing and it feels like youre getting nowhere. Until you see how far youve come) and having to come to tumblr and seeing people say I didn't talk about [disaster 30000 of the past ten years] enough.

if I seem angry and upset and scared and irrational, its because i am those things. you have to understand. in spite of my rather large follower number, this blog is, first and foremost, for me. I am writing things down and allowing strangers and friends and wanderers to read it. I won't call it a privilege that can be taken away, bc its not like some of my thoughts are exactly a treat, but it is something to keep in mind.

if you ask me why I'm talking about the supreme courts recent decisions but not similar decisions in other countries, the answer comes down to "one of those directly affects me, and therefore i can fight back."

but I shouldn't have to announce where and how I'm fighting back. if for no other reason, my own fucking safety. but also bc this blog isn't any sort of guide to activism, it's not any type instruction. it is, at best, my diary that I published.

and that isn't a bad thing!! and it shouldn't be!!! that's why I harped so hard on the carrd post. that's why I'm vaguely annoyed with my reddit posts. that's why I shared my marital status and sexuality for a long time. that's why i have a rwby icon. that's why my blog title which hasn't changed since 2018 is what it is.

I understand that sometimes I have opinions people don't like. oceangate in particular has proven to be a fantastic example of that. But i am, at the most basic terminology, venting my thoughts and feelings.

that's why I'm talking ab the supreme court and their awful decisions. why I may not be talking about issues that don't directly affect me, but might affect some of you. it's not because i don't care. It's never because I don't care.

It's because my target audience is a mirror.

More DSMP Techno thoughts.

Technoblade is literally one of the most generous people on the server. Like, in fic, Niki is always the one most characterized as generous (which is still accurate), but Technoblade is GENUINELY the most generous. From Netherite Armor, to helping Connor even though he had no reason to. To going to see Dream, even knowing it was a trap because he needed to make sure he wasn't dead. His whole rational behind his Anarchism is that People over Government. Helping others until they can stand on their own. Literally the most generous on the server.

Techno's generosity is such an endearing trait of his not to mention very important in analysing him as a character since it actually ties into a lot of other aspects about him I really adore.

Firstly, there's his planning and how he never wants to be caught off guard (sometimes to the point of paranoia). Technoblade is a great fighter and some of that is his impressive raw skill - as demonstrated when fighting Quackity in the tunnel post failed execution with low gear - but he's also an amazing tactician and strategist and he knows coming prepared is half the battle (as Sun Tzu's teachings also invoke). cc!Techno found this important enough to highlight when he went over dsmp lore, how he hated it when people boiled down c!Techno to being a good fighter because he's just 'that cracked' and not because he spends so much time and effort on preparation. Techno gives very freely to his allies during Pogtopia and to those he considers on his side, because it's the smart thing to do. Being generous there is simply clever battle tactics.

Then later on we see his generosity become extremely relevant as Techno digs more into the theoretics of anarchism and how to effectively spread it on the server (cc!Techno did the research and by extension c!Techno shows the growth and changing perspective). Mutual aid is one of the main pillars of most anarchistic beliefs, with the idea that goods should be shared among people so everybody can be self-sufficient and there's no dependency on government. This also means no hoarding of resources and giving without expecting anything in return. We see this come to fruition in the Arctic commune and among the syndicate too, where people definitely own things but there's little care for going into other people's chests and taking stuff when needed. Sometimes even without asking (though often with asking because it's the polite thing to do). Techno does not seem to view his own actions as generosity but rather as self-evident.

Lastly, there's of course the fact that Gift Giving very much seems to be Techno's main love language. He clearly values gifts he gets from others, including those that have no practicality or 'worth' (ie the blue from Ghostbur he refuses to throw away). Getting the ax from Ranboo was one of the more significant shows of care and consideration anybody on the dsmp had ever given Techno and he was clearly touched by it, plus it's a turning point in their relationship. And he's prone to giving his loved ones gifts too. Tying in with the first point and with the fact that Techno is very protective of his friends, a lot of his gifts do serve a very practical use of being the kind of things that will keep them safe (armor, weapons, supplies,...). I think that's very telling for who Techno is as a person.

A last thing I want to touch on is that Techno's generosity is nicely contrasted with his disdain for people taking advantage of him (falls in the category of betrayal and 'using him' that Techno is particularly wary of). When Tommy took his gapples without asking repeatedly even while Techno told him to stop, Techno was clearly very annoyed. It was not the taking itself that bothered him as much, but the fact that Tommy refused to respect a clear boundary.

Funnily enough, he also got annoyed that one time somebody yoinked his foxes, though he was not annoyed somebody took them or even that they took them without asking.... he was annoyed because the person that took his foxes took the ones he could use to breed more. He even remarked that if they had yoinked a baby and an adult - leaving Techno with two breedable adults himself - he would not have cared. He specifically got upset because they took the foxes from him in a way that created a scarcity of resources. This is also very mutual aid/anarchy aligned and that amuses me.

I'm so fucking angry at him. The abuse itself is the main thing, but also the gall it takes to lie like that and present yourself as some kind of feminist, as some kind of ally. To make a whole series parodying the all to common experiences of harassment and misogyny women face. For him to build a fanbase of young people, mostly women who appreciated this. And for the damage he's caused. Again, not the main part of this whole situation, but big enough I felt the need to make a post. Fuck him for all the stress, grief, trauma, betrayal, guilt and shame he's now caused my friends and me. Fuck him. I love my friends here. To see them dealing with this upsets me greatly. Maybe it's the fact that I was always less involved in that circle of CCs or CCs in general versus actual DSMP lore. Maybe it's the fact that i've been drifting away from MCYT content in general outside of my own niche interests in one aspect of the DSMP. Either way, I'm hurt on behalf of my friends, on behalf of all of us who bonded and made art and friends and memories and are now having to deal with the painful realization that a part of that is forever sullied. Fuck him. I'm going to wait to see what happens before I make any decisions, but It hurts regardless. I really hope this at least marks a turning point in how this fandom- and it's ccs handle abuse. It's never confined to just one group, whether that be a friend group, SMP, hell even fandom. Things like the Bystander effect, and our culture inherently promoting things like keeping the peace or portraying abuse as one monolithic experience are systemic issues to be tackled by more than just tumblr posts.

hmmm sorry if this isnt too well worded because this kind of just popped into my mind but. I cant really hate the genloss game theory because it seems less like a genuine theory and more like something made just to get views, if that makes any sense? Like mentioning the dsmp, and calling genloss an arg are all things that would kind of gain more attention from people who watch game theory but not ranboo. I mean, theres a lot of people who probably dont know who ranboo is but know about the dream smp. And also, the theory itself seems more like trying to get as many clicks as possible instead of actually caring about the plot. After all, claiming you know who the founder is and that it was the protagonist all along would definitely get a lot of peoples attention, right? Even casual genloss fans who watched it once and promptly forgot about it would be interested when the thumbnail claims not to trust the main character. its all just buzzwords to get more views- which kind of reminds me of part of what generation one was about.

Symphony of Gods and Dreamers AU/DSMP Rewrite

🟢 DSMP (sorry for bad grammar, this was mostly just me vomiting my ideas onto the post)

My DSMP rewrite makes the world so much bigger and full of life than canon.

The arctic empire from SMP earth exists, hypixel is a whole kingdom, the bear SMP exists and that’s where Niki is from, the wreckage of tales from the SMP locations can be found in the woods, places from fanfics such as the blue valley are very important to the story. The story takes place over a much longer period of time, the L’Manberg revolution alone lasts several years! Dream is like 50! He was an adult before Wilson was even born. Tommy and Tubbo had families before being adopted by Philza, but they were killed by Dream’s armies in their quest to conquer the world. Dream stole the revival book from Kristin decades ago.

Dream is a tyrant and a cult leader with armies and followers dedicated to his mission to control as much of the world as possible. The DreamSMP is a continent that Dream has discovered and, at the beginning of the events of the server, it has small townships spread around the woods that are full of people gathering resources for colonies. The original L’Manberg members were followers of Dream who had begun to question his power.

Las Nevadas is not just one street with some restaurants and a casino! It’s a massive fucking city with hundreds of thousands of citizens, they have communities and schools and farmer’s markets, It’s the first city in the SMP with paved roads! Snowchester is a cosy little college town up north surrounded by mountains. Students from schools in Snowchester and Las Nevadas go on field trips to L’Manberg and Eret’s castle. The center of the SMP is this huge historic town kept in top condition by volunteers dedicated to preserving the history of the land.

Kinoko Kingdom was built by natives of the SMP and can be found deep within the forest. The people of the kingdom have myths and legends of a time when dragons and demons and gods roamed the earth. When Sapnap showed up, being half demon, they worshipped him and made him their ruler.

There is an entire cult that worships DreamXD! every few hundred years XD selects a member of his cult to give godhood to (Techno, Foolish, and Callahan are amongst those selected). DreamXD is older than the universe itself and has witnessed the rise and fall of countless worlds. Several SMP members were gods in their past lives and knew XD personally (some relationships were more positive than others). That’s why XD is so infatuated with George and so hateful of Bbh.

Characters like Puffy, Antfrost, and Sam are just single individuals who are members of entire original species. Ranboo was born a prince in the end but his people were driven out. The nether was accidentally discovered by cultists and legend says that’s where the demons came from.

My vision of the SMP has grown far beyond a Minecraft roleplay. I wish I could tell you everything but that would take way too long to write. For now I’m just focusing on Wilson and the other tropesonas. I can’t possibly talk about every single character and that makes me mad. Maybe in the future I will go into more detail on sbi and DreamXD.

i just finished reading your post and i completely agree

when i first got introduced into myct it was because my friends showed me an animation about and i immediately got into it and followed every cc on it, i didn’t even like minecraft, but i liked the story and their personalities, but as time went on i slowly began muting a lot of them on twitter and really only stayed for the dream team

then once the dsmp ended i pretty much only payed a attention to a few ccs outside of the dream team

and once those ccs stopped associating with dream team or had drama between them, i would drop them

i think that if i ever do stop liking dream team, i’ll be out of the myct for good, the others don’t have content that appeals to me or are just annoying

i think that the community will end up cannibalizing itself sort of like the beauty community did in 2016/2017, at least with all the dsmp related creators (i’m sure the other communities like hermitcraft and empires will continue on normally) and like the beauty community, it’ll bounce back in a few years but with fresh faces

yeah yeah. and like i am petty and a lot of ccs i stopped watching was basically bc "they were mean to dteam" but its kinda whatever. but if i were forced to leave fandom bc something truly terrible happen... some people refer to drituation as break up, a lot of people acted like they just found their significant other cheating on them. and you know what people with a broken heart tend to do? they erase every sign of this person from their lives. and it is extreme. but we saw it happening. people deactivating, promising to never "stan a real man" again, burning signs of their fandom footprint from the internet. they are leaving leaving. it doesnt matter who changed their opinion about dt, what matters is that it was changed and now they want to find something that will be less exhausting. theres no more space for casual watching of others. these people are gone not only from dteam audience but mcyt as a whole

1. Athanasia de Alger Obelia (Who Made Me A Princess)

First hyperfixation, the manhwa I saw from start to finish. Art is just absolutely beautiful and I've been attached from the very start. Her character arc surrounding her father, Claude, had me clutching my pearls and sobbing my eyes out.

2. Dazai Osamu (Bungou Stray Dogs)

Strongest hyperfixation on the series yet. There's a certain feel I get whenever I see or read content about him. Do I relate to him? Concerningly. But it's the sort of connectedness I feel when reading what Odasaku thinks of Dazai and me agreeing and being called out half of the time lol. Lastly, he's just so pretty.

3. Chuuya Nakahara (Bungou Stray Dogs)

This man's backstory has me in a chokehold. He's gone through so much shit but, compared to other characters, he remains a "good" man. Such a complex character I can't get enough of tbh. Asagiri really paired the donut man and one of the most beautiful written characters together and I love it/pos. Lastly, also very pretty. Imagining him together with Dazai, whether platonic or romantic, is also a treat.

4. Wilbur Soot (dsmp, qsmp, general yt)

His content just, helped me get through quarantine. Also his songs are just bangers, and Lovejoy is one of my top favorite bands next to The Neighborhood.

5. Kim Dokja (Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint)

One of the first Korean novels I've ever read and finished. He is just such a well-done character, and ORV as a story in general should become a literary classic (in my humble opinion). The way he seeks comfort in a story and is willing to stay until its very end, I relate to that so much, and I just feel for this tragedy-surrounded man. I wish only the best for him and his company.

6. Cale Henituse (Trash of the Count's Family)

I remember reading the novel in its early stages and waking up for school, to then eat cereal and slowly finish reading what's been published in the dim light. Haven't touched the second book yet, but the first book was just, woah. Amazing. Rollercoaster ride. Our young lord really should start looking out for his health more, everyone's so worried.

7. Han Sooyoung (Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint)

Her story arc of being an antagonist, to the third member of their trio, and [spoiler], was an absolute blast. Her character was written with such a personality she touched my heart with her spunk and gentle care towards her friends. What she's done for KDJ is absolutely what tore my heart out. She deserves so much. They all do. Speaks even more to me since I'm a writer. Love her with all my heart <3.

8. Achilles (Greek Mythos, the Song of Achilles)

He amuses me. His rage, his reactions, the slaughter he made across the battlefield, and the way he eventually died. The fact we have historical evidence from a vase that people back then saw him rolled up into a blanket burrito during his sulking period. That he sent out one of his "closest" men in his own armory and grew enraged (understatement) when he returned as a corpse. I just, love him. Words cannot explain how I hold him, and Patroclus, to a high regard in my heart.

9. Tallulah (qsmp)

Best egg child to ever exist. Second is Chayanne. The admin for this character just stole us from the very start. Deserves a thousand bamboo flutes.

10. Ayna and Ranonthean (Secret Lady)

Might be considered cheating but these two are a couple and the toxicity cannot exist without the other. The slow unfurling of how their love story that led to the actual FL and ML's current predicament (read the story it's so good) absolutely rocked my shit. Like, omfg their children. Her family. Fate itself. I wanna sock Fate in the face. They're in love, but their love cannot thrive in a place like that. At least not for long. And it shows; the chapter this image is from, side story 11, has me by the throat. Banana-nim's art just makes everything better. They're relatively good for each other, but because of the situations forced on them, shit happens. Doomed by the narrative indeed.

I think what got on my nerves was the sheer amount of people I saw calling qjaiden getting in an accident. like, okay, maybe her seeing the door while looking for secrets was accidental. but her actively trying multiple ways to get both into the rooms and into the chests very much wasn't.

I'm all for the conflict it'll bring but you cannot call someone trying multiple times to get into a hidden room, and then into the chests it holds, an accident. the only reason she couldn't get the chests was because codebreakers were disabled, but she still absolutely tried. that's not an accident.

let her claim to be silly and do things that'll hurt people and let those actions be on purpose, even if she doesnt mean harm. she did that with the intention of snooping and only stopped when she couldn't get information, and shes so much more interesting that way than if shes just Silly and it was an accident.

Oh I saw the accident claims too, I'm just not bothering with them because they're fucking stupid. She deliberately went to make everything she needed for a codebreaker, she tried using said codebreaker multiple times on the door, she left to get a bike to glitch in, she used a chorus fruit to get in. She left the chests she thought were personal to him alone, but she absolutely tried getting into several, especially the ones she could 100% tell were Federation-related, like the keycards chest. She would've tried to get into more if she understood Portuguese well enough to tell which ones were also Federation-related.

Just calling a female character "silly" and chalking every Funky thing a female does up to an accident removes the character's agency in every way fucking possible. It isn't feminist to say that your fav female character didn't mean to do the Bad Thing she 100% meant to do, or that she didn't understand that she was doing something wrong, because that's just. Misogynist. It's hard to describe, but not allowing your female characters to have any agency at all is fucking misogynist and I'm tired of this fandom pretending that it's this paragon of feminism when it constantly undermines its own favorite female characters while trying to keep itself from being as outwardly misogynist as the DSMP fandom was, and is.

Let female characters do fucked up things! Let them do them on purpose! q!Jaiden isn't some clueless idiot wandering around the server accidentally walking into locked and hidden rooms and trying to break into chests, she's someone who broke into a secret location because she was, in her own words, snooping around. Purposefully ignoring her own literally outwardly-spoken motivations just to call her "silly" and pretend she's never done anything wrong is a disservice to her character and her player.

Not only is this song, like, objectively really really good, but it's been absolutely put through the ringer in terms of fan creations.

There's a video online somewhere of a whole group of people singing it alongside the person who made it (i think its just audio which makes it hit harder tbh) and it fucks me up so bad actually. like its a whole community of people rejoicing and in its own sense that's beautiful but the fact that its this song of all things is so depressing yet unifying at the same time it gives me so many emotions

The last we ever see of Ghostbur is he, for once in a very long time crying tears of joy as he is reunited with his Friend."

Been watching Connor and the way his chat is like a synced npc or a bunch of comedians is insane, I think cause people who stay in his chat are actual twitch andys and they've been watching twitch not just for minecraft thats why everyone just spams kekw or something

Techno discovers the Skeppy cage and remembers Skeppy's claustrophobia, which leads him unable to keep his anger and disgust in check.

This series is what made me love these three dummies. Seriously, there's so much unexplored potential here.

I love how close Techno and Skeppy are, how much Techno cares for Skeppy despite how different they are, and that Skeppy is considered one of the few that have always been loyal to Techno. It's just sweet, ya know?

Adding Bad to this mix just makes it all that much better. Techno and Bad aren't very popular together, but I personally love imagining their possible interactions and how they view each other.

I loved getting Techno's pov on the Skephalo relationship as well - how Techno trusts Bad to take care of Skeppy because he's seen and been proven that they are that important to each other.

I can only wish this series gets continued at some point, or someone else picks up on the idea because I'd kill to see more of this concept.

When he has the capacity to, Bad uses higher order thinking. In those times, he is well aware that the Skeppy is as much of an individual as he is. That it presumably managed for a long time before him, that it was good at surviving, and he’d come to learn, excellent at fighting and defending itself. The Skeppy is very capable. But Bad is nothing if not flawed, and one of his flaws is that he is very eager, and very happy when he finds things to collect. So he’d sort of... Unintentionally taken the Skeppy. It wasn’t a plan, exactly. He’d carried it home that first day and assumed it wanted to stay with him.

"For a long time, Bad thought all he would ever be was a Bad. But when a Bad finds a Skeppy, suddenly a Bad becomes... A happy." If this quote doesn't make you want to read the fic, I'm not sure you're okay, I'm sorry.

This fic is literally the cutest thing, istg. I dare you to try and find me something that's more wholesome.

Bad and Skeppy are both not-quite sentient creatures - Bad is a Nether demon, Skeppy is a diamond golem - who find each other by chance and just, connect and stick together and do shenanigans.

The genius of this fic for me is the "not-quite sentient" part. They're not people, they're creatures, and it shows. They remind me a lot of the dragons from HTTYD, as in they possess a higher order of thinking than a dog or a cat, while still being somewhere lower than a human. Does that make sense?

They can't communicate with each other the traditional way - aka, through speech - and so have to find ways to get around that, which is a trope I love.

Also also, this author is amaaaaaazing at writing Happy Duo, I very very much recommend checking out any of their other works - Flickering Flame and Your voice: The Sound of your Laughter are two of my faves, but really, all of them are more than worth a read.

There's something wrong with the world around Bad, and reality isn't making any sense. No one is, and it's starting to eat away at his mind.

This series is pure pain and yearning. I'm not even trying to be funny, it simply is. Maybe it's because Bad and his "predicament" reminded me too much of a family member of mine, but this fic really just hit me like a truck out of nowhere.

I don't want to spoil much, but i love what the author did with Bad's backstory. Who he is, his connections with XD, how he got to have the life he does in the present. He's so tragic, it's painful to read all that suffering (but in a good way, because it's also beautiful??)

The way Rain cloud ended threw me for a loop a bit, but I think that might've been the point - it also made me cry actual tears, sooooo, there's that :p

But yeah, go read this right now if you feel like BBH-centric angst with lots of worried Skeppy, some functional Karlnapity, and a kind of confusing but still very envolving plot.

It's been a while since I last read this one, so I don't remember the plot too well, but I do remember I stayed up 'til 4am to finish it and I hate going to bed late, so I hope this speaks for itself on how engaging the fic is. Go read.

This was written immediately after the Egg Lore finale. It's basically my personal take on what Skeppy was up to while Bad was busy building himself a cult. It spans from his death by lava bath to him killing Bad after the Banquet.

It's sad, angsty, and full of my fave headcanons for their DSMP characters (which means lots of happy duo family). It is also my first try at writing 2nd person, so yeahhhhh, please give it a read, and feel free to yell at me in the comments.

Let’s talk Technoblade and flower symbolism!

(please note that these are the reasons that I use these specific flowers in my art for Technoblade, usually in reference to DSMP techno, so not all of the reasons are serious or symbolism-related :D)

Dandelions

Not only do the common meanings of dandelions perfectly match Techno (faithfulness, hope, growth, and healing) but societal impressions of dandelions, to me, are a perfect reflection of Techno’s character and of his arc in the DSMP. I won't go much into faithfulness and healing, but I hope that those are evident from his friendship with Philza and the healing of each member of the Syndicate.

Loyal talks about Techno collecting dandelions (Here!), discussing both the symbolism of Techno growing in an adverse environment and collecting hard-to-kill flowers and the fact that Techno uses the dandelions for stew and for his bees.

I think Techno’s use of suspicious stew is often overlooked. A suspicious stew made with dandelions increases saturation. He didn’t choose to create regeneration effects using an oxeye daisy. Technoblade, who focuses on xenia, guest friendship, the laws of hospitality, and the policy of providing food and shelter to guests; Technoblade, who chose his retirement to avoid the conflict and violence of his past and was still hunted anyways, chooses saturation. The choice to rely on dandelions was intentional. It was a declaration, perhaps just to himself, that he was retired, that he would not need regeneration, that all he would need is to be able to provide the hospitality of a filling meal and to protect himself and his friends from hunger.

Now, let's talk about society and dandelions. Dandelions are considered by many to be a weed, an unkillable plant that spreads it's roots even after they try again and again to get rid of it. Sound familiar, anyone? But, like many "weeds," the reason that dandelions are seen as undesirable has roots in colonilization, where plants that were food sources to native and impoverished peoples were derided by colonizers and the upper class. The societal perception of these flowers is rooted in their usefulness to those that the figures in power wanted to eliminate.

Other than that connection to Technoblade's anti-government perspective, why am I connecting this to our favorite anarchist pig? Consider Technoblade's role throughout the dsmp, specifically the pogtopia arc. Technoblade provides armor, food, tools and materials. Then there is a shift in power and his 'usefulness' is up, as those in power no longer align with his goals and instead try to eliminate him. This shift in being recognized for usefulness to being forceably removed is due to a shift from the group in power, despite being the same as before.

I don't want to limit this analogy to usefulness, although the tendency of Techno to provide food and hospitality does lend itself to that. No, the main reasons that I connect Technoblade to dandelions is their resilience, their potential for growth, and the hope they represent.

Technoblade retires. Technoblade is executed. Even before this, it is evident that Technoblade needs healing. He has the air of a war veteran, is referenced to as the blade, is used, betrayed, and fights for his life. He says that there is no safety except isolation. And yet, he retires and throughout it all there is his friendship with Philza, his cabin in the arctic, his suspicious stew; pieces of evidence that he never gave up hope that he could heal without violence. Pieces of that undying determination that both he and dandelions are known for. Dandelions can grow on rocks, on hard packed soil, in drought conditions, but they prefer rich soil like any other plant. Technoblade grows his hope in hard conditions, fights to keep that hope, and finds a place where it can grow. He finds a place where he can grow, and learns along the way that maybe faithfulness is not a weakness, and maybe you can live and grow with others.

8. Which character do you think is most different to c!Dream?

Oooh uh I'm not very good with superlatives. Hmm...

Lazy answer tbh but because I can't think very hard, I'd say c!Sam in a lot of ways? Which is funny particularly bc c!Dream seems to be under the impression that they're a lot more similar than they actually are until Shit Goes Down. c!Sam and his choosing c!Dream over the entire server versus c!Dream's ruthlessness being applied to everyone and absolutely not sparing himself. c!Dream's general dislike for power structures versus guy who thinks he was born to be listened to. c!Dream's ambivalence w/ morality (and his spiral into thinking of himself as pure evil, after. well. a lot of things) versus c!Sam's defining literally everything based off his batshit moral code and I Am Good isms. I think they want similar things in some ways, but unlike, say, c!Dream and c!Tommy (who I think have much more similar ideas of what a peaceful server would look like), c!Sam would make Samville The Peaceful Town Where Nothing Goes Wrong As Long As You Listen To Sam and have an underground torture bunker. God c!Sam is so batshit

(For some more answers, probably c!Sapnap in terms of conflict resolution? Uhhh c!Punz is p high up there in terms of motivation. I'm sure there's others that'll come to me eventually)

3. What's your favorite c!Dream era?

Prison arc, sorry. I'm predictable. But for eras that I think are chronically underrated, Pogtopia-c!Dream will always always always have a place in my heart. We don't talk about this man enough fr. I need to go back and just binge all c!Dream content especially pre-Vassal bc god that man breaks my heart.

25. If c!Dream had to join an existing/former DSMP country or faction, which one would you choose for him?

The Syndicate, probably! Well the Syndicate if I'm trying to be niceys otherwise I'm shoving him on Sam's island or in Las Nevadas to kick my feet as the world burns. But yeah I've always had a very soft spot for Syndicate c!Dream--my guy is so scared all the time man :[

26. What do you think is c!Dream’s greatest strength?

Hmmm...probably his intelligence? He's damn smart and he knows how to utilize it well. He's a hell of a fighter and he's a hell of an opponent even when his brain is a little twisted up in itself in fear, he knew how to play around people's perceptions of him and create an absolutely batshit plan and pull it off. The Revolution, November 16th, Staged Finale...he knows what he's doing and he sure as hell does it well.

(Thinks about how all three of those include accounts of him intentionally putting his allies in positions that would put them at the least amount of risk, between c!Dream's overcaution in the Revolution and doing the duel himself, the nonsense with the traitor/there is no traitor that kept people's eyes off Wilbur, Staged Finale being explicitly a plan to protect c!Punz...man.)

c!Dream is smart enough to cook up a plan and ruthless + determined enough to go through with it Whatever It Takes, and yet he's still honestly pretty cognizant of the risks and acts to minimize it (especially risk to those working with him). c!Dream is competent and that has always been a big part of what I like about him

30. In 3 words, how would you describe c!Dream?
