Dupree De Vil (Husband of Mallory "Malevola" De Vil and father of Cruella, Divus, Cyrus, Cotton, and Cecil De Vil. Uncle of P.H. De Vil. A fashion business man who fell in love with the wrong woman and did his best to be a good father, even if he was a tad neglectful. He was more involved in the kids' lives than his wife was. He suffered from depression in his later life and slowly began to resent his wife but never divorced her-- which is why he's known while other spouses that married/had kids with the de vils aren't known. His kids were his pride and joy and on his death bed he admitted he regretted not leaving his wife. Causing Mallory to hate their kids even more) aesthetic.

Philip Herbert "P.H" De Vil (Mad scientist cousin of Cruella, Cecil, Cyrus, Cotton, and Divus. He's a food connoisseur who owns an ice cream factory and a Mad scientist/investor who experiments on animals. He's a bit nutty and one of Cruella's closest friends, though he's saner than her. He has never met his mother and hasn't had any kids. That's all there is to say, especially since he hasn't had any pets since he was a kid-- other than Pinky that is. He's older than Cruella by 6 years) aesthetic.

Divus "Devious" De Vil (He is Cruella de vil's twin brother and the only living de vil to not be sent to the isle. He has the family fashion sense but is alot more sane and has more empathy than everyone other than perhaps Cecil. He's also the only one who hasn't gotten in serious trouble with the law. He is a science and potions teacher and a bit of an alcoholic. He and Carlos would get along swimmingly. He has no pets that I know of and is single because he doesn't believe his generation of the family can have a happy ending. He's also just as obsessed with cars as his siblings are) aesthetic.

Cyrus De Vil (Father of Charles De Vil and Grandfather of Hunter de vil. Sibling of Cruella, Cotton, Cecil, and Divus De Vil. He has no pets. He's a botanist, gardener, and farmer who ran away from home not long after Charles was born. His girlfriend died in childbirth) aesthetic.

Melione Olympian (Daughter of Hades. Goddess of necromancy, ghosts, Nightmares, and funeral rites. Also known as the first de vil. Gave up her God Hood for a human and had children, and lived a long life with them all. She's the reason their last name is De Vil and one of their oldest ancestors) aesthetic.

Cotton "Firebug" De Vil (Youngest child of Mallory "Malevola" De Vil and Dupree De Vil, brother of Cruella, Divus, and Cyrus De Vil, and single father of Ivana "Ivy" De Vil. He's a pyro noir-like detective who died when Ivy was 3 in a freak accident involving fire. Ivy's mother was woman named 'Carmen Sandiego' who her father had an... interesting relationship... with as a detective. Carmen has no idea where her daughter is after Cotten dies) aesthetic.

Charles/Charlie "Archer" De Vil (Son of Cyrus De Vil, cousin of Carlos and Ivy De Vil, and father of Hunter De Vil. He is an artist who dabbles in many art forms and an archer. He was an archery teacher before he died and he, unlike his dad, wasn't a teen father. Hunter's mother was Charles' ex, Helga Sinclair, who would later go onto bare Harry Badun. That's right, Harry/Harold Badun, and Hunter De Vil are half-siblings. Deal with it. I like it, this is my fanfic verse, and that's just how it is. He had a pet lobster that he named Goose) aesthetic.

Divus Crewel's Character & Personality

Crewel is a thirty-two-year-old man who's a professor at Night Raven College. There, he teaches the school's science curriculum, including Potionology. Crewel feels strongly about fashion and refuses to compromise what he wears. Thus, he always carries around his signature pointer. Crewel collects classic cars as a hobby. Crowley’s Special Lesson Themes Analysis

HELPPPPPPPP OMGGGGGGG WTF

Okay okay okay, first of all, I’m really flattered when some of y’all say I’m perceptive and such due to my theories, but tell me why I literally JUST realized that the lesson theme changes when Crowley drops in for a Special Lesson?!?!? 😭😭😭😭 L Kallisto moment. -100 perception.

Im not kidding I was literally so focused on Crowley’s chibi form that I never noticed that the music changed when Special Lessons were activated 💀 Self-roasting aside, I immediately went to search up the OSTs for Special Lessons. A huge thank you to this user on YouTube. I compiled the three videos just for my personal reference, but I highly recommend to listen to these songs they’re such a bop!!! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️

I find it really fascinating that the “Dire Crowley” theme (the song that plays when you first open the game) is very foreboding, but the Special Lesson songs are rather flamboyant. Maybe I’m just hearing it wrong, but I like how a ringing bell-like sound can be heard in the Special Lessons songs. It seems like the passage of time through bells is a shared motif in Crowley’s songs? It could also be a reference to school bells.

I have a theory that these Special Lesson theme songs represent Crowley’s relationship and dynamic with each of the staff members. I separated each song into their different section to talk about, including their bpm/tempo, just because I think the details put into these songs as amazing! Note, I don’t know much about music and instruments haha, so please correct or feel free to elaborate on any information ∑(ﾟДﾟ)

Alchemy Special Lesson BGM (Crewel)

-100 bpm, Allegretto, and in D minor. Allegretto is lively, but it must be executed with a sense of restraint, elegance, and precision. It is not like Allegro, which tends to be happy and upbeat. Allegretto is quite literally “less than Allegro,” so it’s restrained. D minor is a key that is often related to feelings of desperation or distress, which is fitting for Crewel’s students. Although don’t take anything I say about the keys too literally (*ﾟ∀ﾟ*) “Major=Happy, Minor=Sad” is a gross oversimplification of keys, and a song can represent any emotion regardless the key it’s in. However, I think it’s worth mentioning because keys are still chosen purposefully to guide the listener to an interpretation of the music! ♪(๑ᴖ◡ᴖ๑)♪

-This is honestly one of my favorite songs from the game. I am LIVING for the doublebass in the background. It’s so jaunty and lively despite its deceptively simple sound. It keeps the tempo very well, I love it

-I relistened to the “Cruella De Vil” song that Roger sings in 101 Dalmatians, and it’s what gave me the idea that Crowley combines his theme with the individual teachers. This song has a elegant yet foreboding vibe to it, much like Roger says about Cruella: “she’s like a spider waiting for the kill.” If you listen to instrumental versions of this song, I feel like the vibe is there

-The Alchemy song feels a bit tense, especially near the end, where is feels like the instruments are fighting for attention and overlapping each other. Although Crowley and Crewel are both (SEEMINGLY) classy and get along surprisingly well in canon, both of their “teacher modes” are very intense. E.g Crewel with the whole pup thing, and Crowley just being unreasonable over all haha. Perhaps it is why Crewel and Crowley very rarely are on screen together? For both Crewel and Crowley to be present in a Special Lesson must be very stressful for the students, with Crewel being strict and demanding and Crowley just being nosy haha.

-Their relationship fascinates me, as they both seem to respect each other a lot. For Crowley, it makes sense, as he generally speaks favorably of the other staff members. But Crewel is rather critical of both Vargas and Trein, so why is he so tolerant of Crowley’s rather unreasonable behavior? Crewel seems to respect him and consider him to be kind, even though it’s obvious Crowley is not. And like I said, they don’t interact a lot in canon, and they mostly do when the other staff members are there too, so there’s very little time of them talking to each other specifically. But then it made me think how crows/ravens and wolves have a mutually beneficial relationship in the wild, with crows leading wolves to possible prey, and the crows feeding on the carcass once the wolves make the kill and eat their portion of the prey. Research has even discovered that ravens have close bonds with specific wolves in a pack, and often play tug-a-war with wolf puppies with sticks. Thus, ravens are often referred to as “wolf birds.” Due to this, some crows and ravens get along with bigger dogs too, as crows/ravens tend to like canines. So perhaps Crowley and Crewel’s positive relationship is a reference to this, and how they may just instinctually like each other? 🤔 Because I cannot think of a reference from the 101 Dalmatians, Snow White, or Sleeping Beauty to be made here with these two characters.

-So going back to how the instruments seem to be fighting each other in the end, perhaps it represents how differing Crowley and Crewel’s personalities and teaching methods are. Crowley is strict when necessary, but he’s far more tolerant with student antics and often acts even more immature than the students sometimes and allows fights/conflicts for the students “personal growth,” whereas Crewel has this intensity and energy with the students at all times, never wanting them to be out of line in any matter at all. Like the clash of their hands-off and hands-on methods, but at the end of the day, they’re both rather strict and it’s unfortunate when the students have to deal with them at the same time haha! In their Alchemy Special Lesson voice lines, both Jack and Rook express how intense the room gets, and Room saying HE feels like the prey now. Several other students say how they feel a chill in the air during Alchemy special lessons, with even Floyd saying he gets the “heebie-jeebies.”

History Special Lesson BGM (Trein)

-100 bpm, Allegretto, and in F major. Allegretto is a common tempo in classical music, alongside Allegro and Adante, so it’s fitting that Alchemy and History follow suit. Ernst Pauer describes F major to express peace and joy, but to have an underlying passing regret and melancholy. I could think of few possible “passing regrets,” with Trein in particular with the passing of his wife, whom he remembers fondly and has many habits in her memory. And of course, History in general causes many regrets.

-After listening to this one, I immediately went to go listen to the BGMs from Briar Valley in Book 7 lmaooo…I find it interesting how prominent wind instruments are shared between these songs, but I need to analyze further before I can say something more definitive 🏃‍♂️ It is interesting how the History Special Leason theme has this whimsical and fantastical feel to it- it’s very fitting.

-On this note, the middle-ish section of the song reminds me a bit of a marching band! Which is. Interesting considering it’s military origins 👀but maybe I have to admit that this is a stretch haha…something to think about though when I analyze Book 7’s music in the future.

-I’m really in love with the “call and response” theme they have with the woodwind instruments (clarinet and piccolo?? I’m apologize if that’s inaccurate, I don’t know much about woodwind instruments 😭 I listened to samples and just made my best guess,,,) clarinet plays a melody and a piccolo responds and repeats the same sound. Not to be dramatic af, but it lowkey sounds like a pair of songbirds who are courting each other, which makes me sad because I’m not normal over my silly Crowley theories🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️ When courting, a songbird “sings”so the other bird they are courting can respond. If the courting is successful, the pair duets the same tune, which is exactly what the piccolo and flute are doing. Crowley x Trein is real… (I’m kidding HELP). It goes to show that even though Trein scolds Crowley a lot, they clearly have some faith in each other, especially in Book 6 when Crowley assigns Trein as temporary Headmage. This “call and response” is a representation of this faith, with one calling, and the other responding when it’s necessary.

-Or if you’re ridiculous like me, it’s sad in context because Crowley is an isolated character, despite all the pairs of raven statues around the school haha!

-Interestingly enough, this is the one song out of the Alchemy and Flight themes that does not have a the “ringing bell” I was talking about. Interesting this is missing in the History class, as if time is not relevant/time has stopped. Or perhaps how sense it’s history, we are not at the “present” time.

-Overall, this song feels far more harmonious than the Alchemy song. I think it goes to show how genuinely dedicated Trein is about the study of History, given he’s done fieldwork in the past. Trein is able to keep Crowley relatively in line just like the students, so the song flows smoothly.

Flight Special Lesson BGM (Vargas)

-140 bpm, Vivace, and in A minor. Vivace means brisk, lively, which signals to the musicians to play with spirit and energy. This tempo is AMAZING, because Crewel and Trein’s were both at 100 bpm, right? But this song is at 140 bpm. It gives a dynamic sense of movement and vigor to the song. At this beat, it’s known that it may make some listeners feel restless, due to the beat being faster than a resting heartbeat range. It was an incredible choice for the Flight lessons with Vargas, as it is a gym/workout class! 140 bpm falls comfortably in aerobic exercises heart rate range, especially since where referring to teenage boys. Haha this may be obvious in music theory/composition, but I thought it was cool! (*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)

-I was surprised by this one, for how prominent the electric guitar is instead of the orchestra at the start of the song! Crewel and Trein go along with the orchestral theme rather well, making it a strong highlight of their respective songs. Compared to the other themes, the guitar feels overbearing. It’s very fitting for Vargas’ personality, for as we see in the special voice lines, Vargas is a bit much even for Crowley

-However, strangely enough it works, as the ending portion combines everything quite well. Vargas is one the staff members who I think has the most positive opinion about Crowley. Although Vargas is overbearing, he and Crowley get along really well. In events like Beanfest, they share an equally concerning enthusiasm of the sport of it all. They seem to have a lot together sharing their predictions and ideas for Beanfest, and Spelldrive is also a shared interest of theirs. Funnily enough, I think Vargas of all people is able to take Crowley’s antics more in stride than the other staff members, and vice versa.

-This song ends in a particularly exuberant manner. It goes to show how excitable both Crowley and Vargas be, and how they have high hopes for their students. Yes, they’re a bit much, but there’s a genuine liveliness they both share. Crowley even plays along with Vargas’ strange ideas, like how in an Unified Exam voice line, Crowley thinks that Vargas’ idea of making the student uniforms with heavier fabric to “build muscles” is a genius idea and he wants to look into it more.

-So perhaps this song deviates a little bit more from the classical themes to represent the antics these two have compared with the other teachers?

Did I overthink these theme songs WAY too much? YES LMAO 😭😭😭 But I am so genuinely surprised at how the different Special Lesson themes were made for each class. You would think that the song would be the same, since Special Lessons are rare and last for a short amount of time. It is why I have these little notes about each song, because if the time was spent to craft unique songs, I feel like there is a purpose and thought put behind it? Hmm, I’d like to study more about music to articulate my thoughts better, because I am very interested in Twisted Wonderland’s songs, and I know very little about music!

Edit: the brilliant and lovely @snakevsnis (💞) also sent me a brilliant interpretation that Crowley may also just be the type to “mimic” the personalities of the people around him, especially based on their habits to blend in. I love this idea! It makes me think how Crowley’s immaturity becomes far more rampant when he’s around the students. He’s even a character with a generous voice range, e.g his deep, serious voice in the opening prologue, versus any other time when he’s silly. It’s to the point where his “true” personality is currently ambiguous, as it tends to shift quite a bit. So yeah, I think these BGMs could be representation of this!!

Anyway if the Alchemy special lesson theme song doesn’t get played at my wedding, what’s even the point anymore. L spouse, L wedding, I’m ditching it immediately and running away into the night, taking all the gifts and money with me so I can finally buy a Crowley plushie (things perfectly sane people say)

??? Is this where I drop by to share my headcanons about House of Mouse Yuu? Tumblr is so confusing. Anyway, back on track.

It’s a newer idea of mine but I am kicking and screaming about the idea of a Detective! Yuu!

She starts to get suspicious of things after Leona’s overblot. Things are WAY too convenient to be mere coincidences. She at first brushed off Riddle’s overblot as a one time thing. It was clear that Riddle was long overdue for his damn to break.

But Leona, a man of great intelligence as well as physical strength that can beat ten men like he’s squishing a cockroach overblotting during the biggest, most important events for him? Plotting against Diasomnia’s team was clearly only the first layer. The time and place was way too convenient. If Yuu hadn’t been there to find out his secret plan and fool him, it’s likely Leona would have succeeded. What Yuu thought was just a petty ploy for revenge against people who always saw Leona as lesser turns into a game of follow the strings.

Don’t even get me started on book three. Illegal scamming and forced labor? Suspicious. Yuu finds it way too odd that she had the perfect team to beat the overblot after she foils another housewarden’s scheme. Any why so soon after Leona’s overblot? A few months between each blot fight might seem large to some but three overblots in the span of a school year? Each one perfectly linking the first to the next? It doesn’t seem plausible that THREE students secretly decided to act out plans of demise only to overblot afterwards?

Yuu knew they all had sob backstories but GEEZE. (Even Idia found it suspicious about the amount of overblots)

And now, how this all plays out into the House of Mouse.

Yuu goes about her work like a normal person, except she’s incredibly talented at solving puzzles or word games. If there’s an accident in the kitchen while no one is there watching, Yuu puts together clues and finds the answers in record time.

Patrons like Roger (from 101 Dalmatians)might bring a newspaper to the club one night to have some fun with the word cross only to get befuddled when suddenly Yuu pops up behind him and gives him the answers to the hardest ones because she knows it’s rude to ruin people’s fun. Yuu gives Roger a pat on the back and continues on with serving the villains’ food and drinks.

Yuu just knowing oddly specific information about things the crew like Donald or Mickey might not know. For example knowing exactly what Goofy had for breakfast despite being in Twisted Wonderland all morning or where Donald left that one CD in his house boat that he could never seem to find. Or if Minnie and the others can’t remember a code for a work computer or something like that, Yuu walks in when she hears about it and simply types in the entire 20 digit code from memory and then walks out again like it was nothing. Even when Minnie is very sure she never told Yuu the code to that specific device. And that no one had told Yuu, either. (I don’t know why they wouldn’t tell her-maybe for security/safety reasons? Y’know, with Pete{is that his name? I haven’t watched HoM lately} always trying to destroy the HoM?)

Omg—I didn’t realize how much I was rambling until I scrolled?! So I’ll leave you with these last few bits!

•Grim wearing a beige trenchcoat and fedora during the second book while they try to figure out what Leona is hiding and Yuu not having the heart to tell him that’s not actually how detectives/investigators actually dress

•Yuu having multiple impossible to solve rubiks cubes and hand written what-if scenario essays scattered inside her dressing room to pass the time

•Yuu having AT LEAST three makeup items like lipstick or a compact mirror that is actually gadgets like a mini sleep-dart gun or just simply using the mirror to spy on people behind her

•Yuu playing video games like ‘bomb diffuser simulator’ or murder mystery board games like Clue when Ace, Deuce, and others come over

•Yuu ironically/purposefully using a cork board and red string when solving cases just because it’s fun

Okay so when you first said Detective!Yuu, my first thought went to The Great Mouse Detective. Like imagine Yuu and Basil of Baker Street being mystery solving besties (with Basil sitting on her shoulder or breast pocket). I feel like detective!Yuu would remind Basil of Sherlock Holmes (especially in that one scene in the Savanaclaw manga where Grim wears the classic deerstalker and is holding a smoking pipe)

Meanwhile Professor Ratigan is sulking because he was supposed to be besties with her.

I remember there was this one Goofy cartoon which was 'How To Be A Detective' and Yuu is just in the sidelines shaking her head and laughing at all of his antics.

Since Yuu is just a teenager I reckon that she wouldn't be an actual detective but would be more like the Hardy Boys or Nancy Drew or the characters in the Enid Blyton books, 'Famous Five' or 'The Five Find-Outers and Dog.

I bet that she even goes head on with Professor Von Drake for a battle of the minds when he gets too full of himself (and then beats him, much to Mickey's amusement).

101 Dalmatians: The Series is amazing because you start out with episodes like "Lucky learns that winning competitions isn't everything", "the puppies break into Cruella's mansion to recover a floppy disk that belongs to Roger", and "the puppies decide to use their imaginations to come up with their own ideas for a Thunderbolt episode's ending when the show is interrupted", then you get "Cadpig develops white savior complex over a pet lobster she thought was in captivity but refuses to listen to him" and "Lucky runs for 'mayor' of the farm but can't keep any of his political promises", and THEN you get "Lucky and Cruella get zapped inside Roger's video game", "Roger, Anita, Cruella, and the pups end up in a cursed village that only appears every 100 years and is run by Cruella's ancestor", and "Anita unwillingly ends up in an alien-obsessed cult out in the desert".

I love to listen to music, if you can't tell. I am especially fans of nu metal, black metal, heavy metal, glam metal/hair bands, hard rock, alternative rock, punk rock, and classic rock! Iron Maiden, Korn, Metallica, Rob Zombie, Murderdolls, Nine Inch Nails, and Slipknot are my current favorites!

I also love to play my guitar, it's an Epiphone SG Special, cherry red color. I love to play and it's one of my few hobbies!

I'm super into learning about and collecting photos of my favorite bands/band members, I especially am into Joey Jordison as of right now. I have over 100 photos of him and I think my favorite pictures of him are ones taken during his time in Murderdolls.

I'm also an artist, more of a cartoonist. Digital art is my thing, I am shit when it comes to painting, sculpting, sewing, using charcoal, and anything else like that. Cartooning has been my thing since I was 12 and I plan to continue with it since I haven't stopped. I also have characters and write stories and lore for them, I plan to work on a comic when I get my art style down and have the time. I also do requests!! rules for requests:

Nothing 18+ (nudity and sexual) this includes any fetish or kink material, I probably won't draw heavy gore for requests just because it might make me a little uncomfortable to draw that for someone else, I also won't draw animals/pets/"feral" characters (I just don't have the skills for that yet).

But I can draw characters from a show, your ocs, honestly anything.

I also love playing video games, specifically Minecraft, Fallout 4, Skyrim, Gmod, and TF2. I also have Pesterquest + Hiveswap which I read sometimes.

I like Breaking Bad, a lot actually, I also like Homestuck (Pesterquest and the canon comic), Fallout 4, old Disney Movies (Aristocats, Lady and the Tramp, 101 Dalmatians, Bambi, etc), Suicide Squad, Evil, Beavis and Butthead, Rick and Morty, Family Guy, American Dad, Futurama, Bojack Horseman, Beastars, Q*bert, Disenchantment, and others. Sollux is literally me IRL, idk how some asshole stole my identity and turned it into a character but they did and somehow got away with it.

Disney VHS Minutiae: 1992 Stuff

If you're my age, and are American, you likely saw these warnings before Disney films when popping in the VHS of a movie, show, cartoon compilation or some kind of half-hour program...

Where and when did they first debut?

There's been some light debate around that within Disney VHS collecting circles, and deeper depths than that...

The conventional wisdom in those circles has held that these warning screens first appeared sometime in fall 1991.

Specifically, on later pressings of ROBIN HOOD's July 1991 VHS release...

However, over the years, I haven't seen one of those tapes containing the green warnings (as opposed to the equally iconic red-orange warnings that Disney had been using prior to that, for a good 7 years) that was printed any earlier than spring 1992...

So, for now, I rule that those ROBIN HOOD pressings with the green warnings started popping up around early 1992. Around the time 101 DALMATIANS came to VHS. And I'm specifically talking about the prints that have the green warnings and the cut-short 1989 Walt Disney Classics logo. Not the more common set of pressings that use the gradient 1988 Walt Disney Classics logo. I've got that one, mine's printed in September 1993.

So... Not ROBIN HOOD... Where else?

The Walt Disney Studio Film Collection...

A showcase collection of the studio's most-known live-action classics that came in cardboard slipcover cases, it's often been suggested that this collection first hit stores in September 1991... So that means the green warnings came out in fall 1991, right?

The montage of films that appears the beginning of each VHS ieven copyrighted "1991", so that's proof, eh?

But upon digging, the line of videocassettes hit the store shelves on January 24, 1992...

Funny thing is, sometimes the copyright dates on things don't refer to release years. It's merely the year the thing is copyrighted.

For some Disney examples, the '80s VHS releases of CINDERELLA and SLEEPING BEAUTY carry - in Roman numerals - the copyright years. CINDERELLA is copyrighted 1949, and SLEEPING BEAUTY 1958. CINDERELLA was theatrically released in February 1950, BEAUTY in January 1959. So, they were copyrighted at the end of their respective completion years. The Pixar film ONWARD, a March 2020 release, carries a 2019 copyright at the end of the credits.

And so on and so forth, there's plenty of examples elsewhere. Off the top of my head, video games' copyright dates don't always align w/ release year. MS. PAC-MAN in pretty much every iteration is copyrighted 1981, but the game actually hit arcades in February 1982.

So yeah... It appears that those green warning screens appeared on January 24, 1992... They may have been created in late 1991, printed onto VHS and Betamax tapes in late 1991, but they first appeared on television screens in late January of 1992.

1992 was like this aesthetic reset for Walt Disney Home Video.

The tapes now had all-new FBI/anti-piracy warnings, we went from red-orange with a Golden Age of Hollywood-looking font to green and more basic sans-serif fonts. We now had an all-new Feature Presentation logo:

There's also a weird bit of history concerning when that one first appeared... There's been an anecdote going around for what seems to be two decades, that has long claimed that this self-writing bumper actually first appeared in late 1991 on specific pressings of RESCUERS DOWN UNDER... But I have yet to find any evidence of those existing. For my non-existent money, it first appeared on 101 DALMATIANS' debut VHS in April 1992. Second set of pressings, to be exact. The 1st pressings of DALMATIANS had no previews whatsoever.

Even some title cards using the same lilac background and Laser font to match, as seen on the VHS releases of 101 DALMATIANS and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST.

Even the Walt Disney Classics logo - ya know, the one with Sorcerer's Apprentice Mickey - saw a minor update, in that it looked a lot more saturated and blue than before.

Subtle differences, but they're there!

Those who made the title cards/bumpers really liked the Laser font, too.

Even the French-Canadians got one:

An all-new Walt Disney Home Video logo appears to have debuted in early 1992 as well... Sometimes in black, sometimes in blue:

It actually first appeared in late 1991... But on commercials only. Not the full 5-second logo, but just the second-long shine with an announcer speaking, and the music corresponding with the movie trailer:

That ad for RESCUERS DOWN UNDER above might just be the first-ever appearance, at that...

It seems the full logo debuted on the 1992 VHS release of NEWSIES, and - in bumper form with additional text - 2nd pressings of THE ROCKETEER that same year. Otherwise, it was elsewhere throughout 1992: Commercials, promo tapes, etc.

And that was, to date, their biggest year anyways due to the success of both 101 DALMATIANS (which moved over 11-14m units) and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST (which broke the record back then, with over 20m units sold).
