Day 506 - 508 (1 year, 142 - 144 days)

Heya, how are we doing today? Hope you had a great day so far. Treat yourself. ^^

So today a new event started. Days of Nature returns and it has some gameplay added to it as well. ^^

It takes place again in Sanctuary Island. Same island as last time so it actually blends really well into the sunset event that happens around that area. I wouldn't mind if all the Days of Nature events happen in that area. :D

So what's new? One cosmetic and a small quest you can do daily.

First the quest. They added porpoises to the game! More adorable flying sea creatures! Gotta love how the devs slowly add more and more to the wildlife of the game. Always a treat to see more.

One porpoise is covered in dark plants near the nature guide. Burning the plants frees it and guides you to a vortex in the sea nearby.

There is even a boat with the Anxious Angler from Abyss season in it. On the boat is the place to start the quest. In the vortex there are a bunch of porpoises trapped in nets and garbage that was thrown into the sea. The angler is worried that the garbage might spread darkness.

So of course you are there to clean it up. Quite fun actually since the vortex does cause a small current. Not too obnoxious but just enough to be a small challenge. Cleaning up all the garbage will also reward you with some wax, so it's definitely worth just doing it if you are nearby. Especially since sunset event around that time also gives a ton of wax. :D

Anyway to the new cosmetic.

180 candles?!? For a cape? TGC please stop inflating prices so high! This is getting absurd!

So anyway I bought it. TT

It is a nice cape though. It's blue, small and mostly one sided. Also semi transparent! I like it a lot actually. Might just casually wear it for my default outfit. I just wish the devs would stop with the prices. Oh well...

Ch211 (p3), Take us to your master

Artie and Theo get Finny to the surface. Finny isn't sure why they bothered to save him, but Artie has a point: they still need him. Even if it's just instructions on what's next. Or where his master should be waiting for a report. Theo just wants Finny to conserve his energy.

Oliver helps Finny out of the water, which is quite different from how Finny pushed Oliver in. Finny thanks him, and Oliver just goes right in for a hug. For a brief moment, Finny smiles a bit.

But Theo gets right down to business. They don't have their evidence anymore, but they have a lot of information.

There's no reason to report to the police or the Yard anymore. So, Theo wants to go straight to our earl and Sebastian to make the report.

Idk if they are looking at the orphanage for a moment or if they are already walking away, but Finny notices the nearby windpump and recalls arriving there, just recently, with Snake... and it makes him cry.

One good thing about the staff waiting down there is they won't see the kids return but will assume they have drowned. They might keep someone down there (like in shifts) to wait for bodies to surface, but none will. Still, they will probably think the bodies are there and just stuck at the grating or something. No one from the orphanage will be looking for them outside... unless one of them finally discovers the busted grate.

I was hoping they would destroy the windpump and flood the underground facility, but it looks like they are focused on making a report and perhaps returning with reinforcements.

The chapter isn't over just yet. One more part to go.

Ch211 (p4), Travel-ready

Just like with Baldo's mission with Lau, we are getting a cliffhanger, so hopefully the kids make it to our earl ok....

We go back in time, yet again, to Lau's opium den. This time, it's Sebastian and our earl getting ready to leave on their mission to Brighton. Sebastian's uniform is now clean, so he dons it.

Then Ran-Mao and the other ladies who work there bring in a bunch of clothes ordered by Sebastian. I see a hat box with Lock & Co Hatters on it and several boxes from Nina Hopkins' shop.

Sebastian goes to get his master ready to leave, but our earl doesn't know how to pay the tab to Nina. Sebastian seems confident that our earl will regain his title and funds, then he can pay the bill plus a nice tip.

"Clothes reeking of opium are unbefitting of you." 🙄 😆

Sebastian goes over his master's cover story, for going to the resort hotel, while dressing him.

And emphasizes the importance of Earl Phantomhive being fashionable in bespoke clothing.

Ready for travel... and another turn at chess with his brother.

I'm wondering how on earth they will walk into the hotel controlled (ultimately) by Undertaker and real Ciel... as Earl Phantomhive and his butler. Are they not going incognito this time? A bold chess move, indeed, if they just walk in like this, even if it's run by some random person from the Aurora Society. People will recognize them; there will be talk. There's been front page news about the scandal.

Maybe that's the intention, at this point. But... can they get away with it for long enough before local police or the Yard shows up again?

🤔 Maybe they take on some disguise before they enter the hotel....
