ok. nano in one week and i have two (2) options:

drafting the post-chosen one wip. obviously this is the choice is should do with it as it is already started, i just kind of dropped off the last couple weeks. unfortunately, i have one glaring problem, which is that the most recent chapter went off the rails and i also reached the stopping point in my plot and now idk how to move forward. i know what's theoretically going to happen later on, but i need to seriously sit down and outline to smoothly draft. will i actually do that in a week? who knows.

start my pirate wip. the option i want because it's my current obsession, but i'm also very much in the creation stages and fleshing out worldbuilding details. so it's all bare bones, and i know starting it might be fun, but i don't have a firm enough grasp on the story itself yet unless i plan like crazy over this week. again, do i have time to do that? who knows.

#.txt #nano 2023 #don't think i did nano last year?? i literally cannnnnot remember #but it would be so fun to do it again even though it is so hard with 25 hour work weeks and 15 credit semesters.#also i have two papers to write throughout the month at least...#BUT!!! i need to focus on writing so i might make a smaller goal of say 15k #500/day or something #the problem with my post-chosen one wip is that there is just so many plot threads and i need to visually plot it out #like there's the whole doomsday prophecy and then the rot returning #but also alice chasing the magician and her & kel and then alora all alone and then belen waking up & rani #and also the political layer of the white wraiths vs the govt which i need to flesh out #also alice is supposed to break some guy out of prison. that's a thing that's going to happen #then on the other hand the pirate story is sooo fun! even though i've only had it for like two weeks #i love to create worlds...actually drew a little map shockingly #and the characters are already half formed in my head i just keep adding more #but it'll probably be option one since i have been working on that story in various ways for at least three months

I was tossing up what I could share and this little snippet won. So here it is, when everything really goes to shit for Eddie 🙃 (from The Lightning Amnesia Fic)

Buck doesn’t remember.

He doesn’t remember.

Eddie’s entire world crashes down around him. He feels like his body has stopped working. He doesn’t know if he’s breathing but he’s pretty sure his heart has stopped.

Buck’s memories of them can’t be gone.

They can’t be.

What kind of fucked up twist of fate is this?

It isn’t fair.

Buck has to remember.

Eddie needs him to remember.

“Eddie? Eddie?! Shit! It’s okay Eddie, you’re having a panic attack. I’ve hit the nurses button, someone is coming. Stay with me”

A panic attack? Oh.

Someone moves him to sit down, a nurse maybe? He doesn’t know. Like Buck doesn’t know. Because Buck doesn’t remember.

“—hyperventilating, looks like a panic attack. Let’s get him set up in another room and give him a dose of Benzodiazepine”

He’s aware that people are moving him, getting him seated into a wheelchair. He thinks he hears Buck calling after him, but he’s not sure. All he can hear is the sound of his heart pounding in his ears, every beat screaming in agony, he doesn’t remember he doesn’t remember he doesn’t remember.

And then everything goes black.

Im really really hoping the theory about Wille having a birthday in s3 are true because i want Simon to give him a gift SO BADLY. I want it to be something sweet and whimsical and soft bc Wille deserves whimsy in his life. Even if it is a gag gift that Wille actually ends up keeping. I really want the stuffed animal frog like i mentioned in my unhinged s3 list bc its the opposite of the snow globe with the hard (now jagged) edges. Like a soft stuffed frog (no crown) it would be so cute :(((((( But really Simon giving Wille any kind of sweet simple gift would be so cute to me.

For this occasion I have art I took 7 hours on

AH YES SO THIS IS MY REDESIGN OF PJ'S DAYCARE.

I completely removed the whole ship kid shit. It's just weird. Instead, I thought I would be a cute idea if the papyrus's were caretakers instead! So yeah sans and pap age swap fr/hj idk just role with it. Doing this made me realize how weird the concept of the original version was lmao

And they don't just take care of little sanses. They also take care of au frisk, charas, asriels/flowers, MKs, and various other characters and AUs!

So from right to left let's give names or smt idk

First up is UF pap/ Edge- the most stern and loud of the caretakers. He is the rule enforcer of the papyrus's, but despite his rough exterior he is rather soft. He is Redz older brother

Little horror tale sans/ Chompers- the youngest of the 4 other sanses, and the most bitey. When he's not sleeping he's probably 'hunting' as he calls it. Don't let him around the frisks or charas.

Little Underswap Sans/ blue- the most energetic and hyper of the sanses here. Despite his hyperness he is very smart and passionate about everything he does.

OG papyrus/ Papyrus- the main caretaker, and the most stressed. He always keeps track of everyone in some way, and seems to know everything about all the children in the daycare, even if it's their first day. He is the older brother to Sans.

Swap papyrus/ Honey or stretch- the laziest of the 4 papyruses, he's usually the one who takes care of nap time (as well as taking a nap himself). He is the older brother to Blue

Little fell sans/ Redz- the grumpiest of the kiddos, he's always seen picking a fight when not asleep. He is around the same age as blue, and has a unlikely friendship with blue.

Og sans/ sans- the oldest of the kids by far, but also the most tired. He sleeps for a disturbing amount a day.

Horror tale papyrus/ Cookie- the daycare 's main cook! Although looking disturbing, he's quite a sweetheart. However the kids seem scared of him, so he normally stays in the kitchen. And if he's not staying in the kitchen, he usually wears his scarf over his mouth. He is Chompers older brother.
