I can't speak my first language very well anymore, it's very difficult now, and it's super important that I make sure I can maintain what I have left with my culture. I imagine that for a Yuu that comes from a family and culture they love, being away for so long you really do start losing that part of yourself the longer you're away.

In general, if Yuu never finds a way back, it must be incredibly lonely to not have someone to share that with you. Even if Twisted Wonderland has something similar, the fact of the matter is that it's not the same. It will never be the same, the accent of people speaking will always be off, the taste of your food will feel like it's missing something important. The music, the art, dancing, clothes, the way the sun touches your skin and the water splashes will be just off. And that's not even touching on the people you might leave behind: the sound of your parent's voice as they comfort you, your sibling's yells from your last squabble, the laughter shared between you and your friends. It's gone, truly.

How do you cope? How do you manage as the memories of your previous life start fading away in your mind more and more until they feel like a dream? Like a story from a book that you read? Will you be just a memory? Another number among missing people from your world? Will your family pass on with the knowledge that they never could find you and know that you're okay? The comfort of your friends and loved ones that you make in Twisted Wonderland can help, but only so much, and that really is beautifully devastating. To be loved and love the new home you've created, but feel just something is off.

Your loved ones can't even do anything to really remedy that, other than give you the assurance that they will never let you or your memory fade with them. It's never enough, but it's what will do for the time being.

eventually you just gave in, letting him lay you down on the bed, before he removed your shorts and underwear, and then grabbed some pyjama shorts and wiggled them onto you. he sat you up and took off your shirt and bra, slipping one of his old t-shirts onto you. your eyes fluttered closed as he lay you back down and within seconds, you were asleep. he just smiled, ran his knuckle over your cheek and leaned down to kiss your forehead. he then got changed himself, before getting in beside you, laying on his back and trying to get to sleep himself.

he couldn't sleep much, he just kept checking on you, making sure you were ok and still asleep. after an hour, he managed to doze off, but was woken up immediately by you turning in the bed, curling into his side.

"m'sorry.."

"s'ok, baby.. c'mere.."

he let you turn back around, before he slid up against you, pulling your back to his chest. he kissed your shoulder, and whispered in your ear, telling you to go back to sleep. you could almost cry from how gentle and protective of you he was being.

when you awoke in the morning, peter was nowhere to be seen, but there was a glass of water and some advil tablets beside it. then you saw the note.

ACTOR AU SAGE!!!

Fun fact! Actor AU is currently the only WH AU to have a version of Sage instead of Rosemary! :D

Her intro stuff is really long, so I'll put it under the cut (AAAA IM SO EXCITED TO SHARE HER)!!

So, for the Actor AU, Sage actually isn't an actor at all! She's a singer and songwriter who has pretty recently (like, within the past year or two before meeting the WH cast, maybe?) become very popular. Sage's personality and music draw a lot of inspiration from AURORA and MALINDA -- songs that tend to have a lot of deeper meaning behind them. She's eccentric and honestly a bit weird, but she's most known for being open and honest about herself and her music, and for being very caring and sweet. She's able to immediately connect to people and help them see different points of view, which is part of why she's gotten so popular with both puppet and human audiences.

Wally, of course, doesn't really trust it, considering how he thinks and what he believes. He assumes she's probably just another attention-hungry diva, thinking they're the shit, using the whole "lets all be best buds!" schtick to sell out. So he doesn't really pay attention to her or what she does too much, besides taking note of her rising popularity.

That is, of course, until he meets her.

Due to Sage's rising popularity, the show executives decide to have her come on the show as a sort of guest star. Wally doesn't really like this, but they're able to negotiate him to at least try it out for an episode and they'll decide what to do after that. Wally reluctantly agrees, but he's not too optimistic about it. He's really just expecting another one of those "rising star" types, y'know? (Which, fair enough, when you consider what all he's probably had to deal with in his time, plus the fact that all he's probably ever seen or heard of her is in interviews, and he puts on an act well enough for his, so.)

I have a whole actual comic planned detailing this that I'll hopefully finish and get out soon (sitting and writing comics is hard when you have near-zero focus QwQ) but essentially he's outside, before filming for the first day of this, just to get air before having to go back in and start directing things and getting ready and she approaches him and just starts talking with him. And he has no idea who the fuck this is??? (Honest to god, he'll never admit it now but he thought she was an intern or something at first XD) But slowly he goes from just answering her shortly to actually participating in the conversation?? And not just a "how's the weather" sort of thing, but like. Actual deep conversation, about what he's doing out there and talking through a little bit of the stress and stuff. And eventually he kinda like, comes to and realizes he's been talking way too much about way too deep stuff and he's like "hold up who tf are you again?" Which is about the same time her manager (who has been named Savannah and she's also a sweetheart) comes out looking for her and before Sage heads in she fully introduces herself to him, and he's just. Stunned. Absolutely blown away.

Here he was, expecting some diva he'd have to give the shake down to, but instead he's met with just. A girl. An honest, strange, caring girl.

This continues throughout that week of filming, Sage subverting every expectation Wally previously had of her. The whole time he's just more and more startled by Sage and who she is. Her whole team is super sweet and she obviously has very deep trust in them, and jokes with them like friends. She treats his staff with utmost respect (which, admittedly, makes him act on his best behavior every time she's around. He doesn't wanna look bad in comparison XD). She seems to genuinely enjoy her time there and what she's doing. Even more than that, Sage honestly has a very poor filter, so she talks a lot about everything lol, but it can be good! Because this is how Wally learns about her drive to create and how much she genuinely wants to bring people together. He finds out that really, the two of them have very similar visions, just for different audiences. Later, he and the executives and director and stuff are all discussing if they wanna keep doing stuff with her and her team and he's just immediately like "Yes. Absolutely. She has a similar vision to me. We either keep doing stuff with her or I'm personally helping fund her, capiche?" and they're all like "👀Got it" XD

And then, of course, there's her music. Which, after that first day of filming, he searches up as much of as he can and listens to it. And is again absolutely blown away lmao (there's another little comic idea I have for this too hehehe but its much shorter than the other one)

And thus begins Wally's journey of self-improvement, led by Sage's example /j XDDDD

These two coming back to youtube and possibly going to start posting more regularly makes me so happy so just let me rant. ;') I am SO GLAD that they didn't hire somebody to edit their gaming video for them. I was worried that they would hire somebody else to edit their video and the vibe of it would be different. The editing style, the cute moments that they chose to leave in, and their banters are just so THEM and they took me right back to my high school days. On the other note... I was rewatching BIG and Phil's Draw My Life post-coming out for the phanniversary after watching their comeback video. It gave me all the feels to say the least. I would really like to ask them where I can find my best friend forever and how to sustain such a healthy relationship? Like telling the whole fucking world that this person makes you feel safe and you are lucky to find someone you are SO compatible with? (if it isn't the best and sweetest compliment ever, i don't know what is...) Like that person allows you to take a break and explore yourself and your creative endeavors while agreeing to pause the channel that brings the biggest monetary income for 5 fucking years AND being EXTREMELY supportive along the way? Like BEING THERE for each other through the highs and lows? Like being the safe place to go back to in this world filled with craziness and chaos? Their love for each other really transcends all the normal definition of relationship. Okay so i was having this though for more than a month and today i decided to share it with you🙈 what do you think of mingyu teaching his gf slow dance? Bear in mind that she is super shy and she don’t know how to dance . Also i don’t know but i thought the situation would be something like he came to pick her up for a special occasion for example and it’s his first time seeing her wearing a dress and looking so pretty so he just suddenly started dancing and teaching her how to do it? <3

like mingyu asked you to accompany him at this event and you said yes! and so when he comes to pick you up that evening he's a bit nervous. he wore his most handsome and flattering suit and he's standing in front of your door looking so attractive. you were so nervous as well and you were kind of shy because this would be mingyu's first time seeing you in a dress and wearing like proper make up because you rarely ever do and you're mostly in jeans or pants and casual clothes.

so when you open the door and give mingyu a small smile, he looks at you and his eyes travel up and down your body as he takes you in, biting his lip as he tries to stop a grin from erupting on his face because you look stunning in his eyes.

"you look so pretty baby", he coos as he steps in and closes the door. you shyly look down and give him a smile mumbling a thank you. and he literally can't stop complimenting you, telling you how beautiful you are and how drop dead gorgeous you look and you're just a flustered shy mess 😭

and he just looks at you and takes your hand and guides to you the living room. "what are you doing? aren't we going to be late?", you ask, confused. he doesn't reply, only flashing you his playful smile as he wraps on hand around your waist and pulls you closer. "we're going to dance", he says. "now?", you ask, utterly confused. "yeah, this moment calls for a small dance don't you think", he asks.

he sways slowly he as holds your hand but you're too stiff because you're self-conscious and also have no idea how to dance. "i don't really know how to do this", you say softly looking at him. being the gentleman he is, he would slowly teach you some steps and moves and have the biggest goofiest grin on his face as you danced with him in the living room like nothing else mattered at that moment.

at the end, he'd lean in to kiss you and squeeze your hand because he just loves you so much. and the whole car ride too, he's gushing about you and you're like "mingyu stop it i get it", because you're so shy and but your heart was so happy.

have you ever like. ranked the general ST cast on how well you think they'd do in a reality competition show (either being in competition with other ST characters or as the sole competitor from that group). bc like the only show i watch in that kind of category is drag race but the whole, like, realm of it fascinates me immensely and it's melting with my ST hyperfocus in my brain (also not 2 be biased but i feel like steve could win any reality competition show like even drag race or at Least be mr fan favorite. i know it in my heart actually)

anon ..... you have no idea the gift youve given me by asking this question. this is all i have ever wanted to post about for the past several months. lets get into it here is the official How Well They Would Do On Reality TV Ranking (with additional commentary abt which shows they would excel at and who they are similar to)

steve <3 listen this is NOT just me being biased i genuinely think steve has the perfect skill sets for several reality competition series. most of these games require a combination of social prowess and athleticism, both of which steve has! i think he would slay mtv's the challenge like (crediting em here) his feeder show would've been a love island/party down south/are you the one type series where he was just pretty and flirty and got drunk all the time but then he comes onto the challenge and just Crushes it because he's got the balance of good natured and bitchy that people enjoy and find entertaining + he's got endurance for DAYS and he would think of strategies for challenges that no one else would typically see a la jordan wiseley winning a tug of war just by pretending to almost fall and then letting go of the rope. i also think steve would be good at shows like big brother and the amazing race, and he'd be a fan favorite because he'd give good DRs <3

lucas! for a lot of the same reasons as steve, and i also think lucas would be one of those players who's very loyal to their alliance and absolutely refuses to back-stab which could cost him a win for a few seasons until having one glory lap where he just crushes it competition-wise and his past record of being a good teammate helps him avoid eliminations. sorry im like only thinking abt this in terms of the challenge. i also think lucas would be really good at the amazing race! i think on both shows whenever he gets to do a stunt like sky dive or bungee jump or whatever hes always like :D because hes just happy to be there. he'd be on the level of leroy garrett or sarah rice

nancy and im shocking myself a bit by putting her this high up but think about it. nancy would do what needs to be done. she would betray her alliances to get herself ahead in the game, but she'd be careful and do it sparingly only when the time is Exactly right. i think she'd be the real leader of an alliance, but she also knows that being a leader = having a target on your back, so she lets someone else on the team be like the Speaker while she does the strategizing. and then when the time is right, she's ruthless about throwing someone in. big brother would be nancy's game to win, and she'd be like a less unhinged vanessa russo or a slightly more unhinged nicole franzel

argyle would do very well i think just solely based on his social game. people would keep him around specifically because he's funny and brings enjoyment to the filming schedule kinda like my baby kyle christie from the challenge. i think argyle's best shot would be big brother for sure, and even if he didn't win (i dont really foresee him being the best at comps, esp season memory bc his ass would not study) he would be america's favorite player for sure

max would be good at the challenge because i think max would be good At Challenges, however i do fear that she would struggle with the political game. this kinda eliminates her from big brother, where you Have to be fake, but on the challenge she could've thrived during the 2013-2017 seasons like dirty thirty, vendettas, etc where you were allowed to openly hate people and pray on their downfall. not that max would have beef with everyone, bc i do think she'd be generally well liked, but there's always some evil male on every season that she would simply Hate and potentially destroy her own game in the pursuit of getting him out. but even then, she might count that as a win <3 she'd go down in the hall of fame of famous reality tv girlies who hate their male partners like amanda garcia and ashley mitchell

robin.....alright listen. robin would get paranoid on big brother and she would be considered a layup on the challenge (sob) because she's not very coordinated and she'd get frazzled under timed pressure. BUT hear me out if robin had a partner who encouraged her and motivated her, i think she could really start to slay. she would be very clever when it comes to subtle game moves, i think, like she would be good at picking who to put in a tribunal with her based on the social standings of the game. i think she could have a really good season under the right circumstances and shock everyone like big t on the challenge double agents. and she'd be good at one or two very random very specific challenges that require some super obscure skill

dustin would do alright for himself on big brother because he would nail a lot of the puzzle/memory comps and play that lovable nerd role. howeverrrr i think dustin would be a bit...naive :( i think he wouldn’t foresee his alliance members betraying him and he would take it Very hard and play with his emotions most of the time. he would probably get backdoored on big brother despite having a really good comp win record just from being a genius like michael bruner or ian terry

now we're getting into ppl who i don't think would slay unfortunately.......el :( she is too trusting im so sorry like everyone would LOVE her but she would volunteer to go up as a pawn in big brother and her alliance would be like “okay better her than me!” and she’d get eliminated :( but she would give such good DRs and get a huge fan fav edit

will.....idk man will would not want to be on reality tv idk how he'd find himself in this situation to be honest.....he'd be well-liked but he'd be a floater 110% because he doesn't really care about the urgency of starting a good political game early on. his main goal would just be to fly under the radar, and that only works for so long

mike would be a huge bitch to people and they would target his ass so quickly im SORRY but its true. like at least mike would try, and i think he'd pull off one great tv moment by doing something unprecedented and unhinged like targeting the biggest player week 1, but his timing would be off and it would backfire so immensely. also he would get medically dq'd from the challenge im so sorry. he'd do a pole wrestle or balls in against someone bigger and just disintegrate

eddie would be too weird and off-putting. sorry. eddie would roll up at the big brother house and be like Im Here To Send A Message That Reality TV Is Vapid And Our Culture Is Crumbling From A Lack Of Real Art and people would be like boooooooooo and vote him in. he'd also refuse to work with physical threats because he'd be like tch meathead jock idiots >:( and then they'd fold him in half during a hall brawl IM SORRY ITS THE TRUTH

jonathan would not go on a reality show. he would be like cody nickson in the sense that he'd hate being there, he'd hate everyone in the house, and he would refuse to be animated and exagerrated in the DR like production would tell him to. i do think this could make him a sleeper hit among viewers because people kinda like when someone is visibly Over the game and doesn't hide that, but yeah he would not make it far. he would probably quit.
