Lake reflection

A walk through the park and by its lake in my hometown, while the weather is sunny and not too warm, is always a good thing! May 2023.

Taken with Nikon F100 film camera and Tokina AT‍-‍X 16–‍28mm F2.8 Pro ultra-wide zoom lens, on AgfaPhoto APX 400 black and white film. Developed in Adox Adonal, 1+50 dilution at 22.25°C. Scanned with Plustek OpticFilm 8100 film scanner.

I borrowed this big, heavy, fast and seriously wide-angle zoom lens. It was designed for modern-era digital sensors, and using it on a black-and-white film was quite fun!

Was mittlerweile das Telephon und Google erledigen, habe ich schon vorher immer ganz gerne gemacht: “Wie sah es vor fünf Jahren aus?”

Erinnert sich noch jemand an die Show, die sie in den Altlast-Medien abgezogen haben, nachdem sich ein paar Demonstranten gegen die Corona-Grundrechtseinschränkungen und Gen-Zwangs-Impfungen auf die Treppen des Reichstags verirrt hatten? Wie diese bemitleidenswerten Amateur-Demonstranten da auf den Stufen rumstolperten? Wie ein paar besoffene Hühner? Und wie sofort Zusammenhänge zu rechten Verschwörungen konstruiert wurden? Um jede Kritik am Grünen Gottesgnadentum abwürgen zu können?

Dieselben, die von “Aktivisten” sprechen, wenn sich andere von der Kuppel des Reichstages (habe ich kein eigenes Bild von) oder dem Dach des Verkehrsministeriums abseilen. Wer so schweres Gerät in Reichstag und Bundesministerien zu schmuggeln vermag, der bringt auch problemlos automatische Waffen rein. Kaum vorstellbar, daß diese Institutionen nicht schon von antidemokratischen Komplizen-Seilschaften unterwandert sind. Zumindest deren Sicherheitskräfte. Anders sind solche Aktionen einfach nicht denkbar.

Wenn das keine Verächtlichmachung demokratischer Institutionen ist? Und kann es sein, daß die Dame im Vordergrund mit ihrer Aktivisten-Weste mittlerweile als Staatssekretärin arbeitet? Nee, das isse nicht. War, glaube ich, die Presse-Tante. Dann aber vielleicht demnächst.

Womit schlafe ich heute ein? Mit der erneuerten Erkenntnis, daß “Links ist das neue Rechts”.

Denn was teilen uns die Auslöschungs-Rebellen und Grün-Friedler mit? Sinngemäß? “Demokratie, ihre Prozesse und Institutionen sind alles billiger Operetten-Schmonzes. Unsere grünen Anliegen sind viel zu wichtig, um sie diesen uneinsichtigen und lahmarschigen Institutionen aus dem letzten Jahrhundert zu überlassen. Ihr könnt regieren, wie ihr wollt, so lange ihr alles tut, was wir verlangen. Wenn nicht, klettern wir Euch mindestens aufs Dach und zeigen allen, daß wir, wenn wir wollen, die Herrschaft ausüben.”

Solche Sprüch kenn ich doch, von vor neunzig Jahren. Ersetze “Klima” durch “Lebensraum”, “Virus” durch “böse fremde Gene” und Du hast hundertprozentige Vollnazis. (Kann nur wiederholen: Ich war nie in der Partei.)

Was ist so eine Aktion anderes als eine Putsch-Androhung? Erfüllt unsere Forderungen, oder unsere Sondereinsatzkommandos kommen wieder! Und dann sind unsere Stahlhelme nicht mehr knallgelb und orange, sondern oliv.

Through the city

As always, I've been walking around, and wandering through the unknown-to-me parts of the city. Also, I got a box of compact cameras in various states of decay, but some of those cameras were quite nice to use. This is one of those few.

Taken with Olympus Shoot & Go R compact film camera and its built-in 34mm lens, on AgfaPhoto APX 400 black and white film. Developed in Adox Adonal, 1+50 dilution, at 21°C. Scanned with Plustek OpticFilm 8100 film scanner.

The camera, although built in 1996 is one of those basic models, with fixed everything - the lens has no zoom, the aperture is fixed, the focus is fixed, and it relies completely on the film latitude. The Internet isn't very helpful, either, there is conflicting information, one source says it does autofocus, but I haven't seen any evidence for that claim. :D

Those are some ISO 400 shots I‘ve made in Heidelberg. Two of them are from Bismarckplatz at nearly night while it‘s been raining, the other two are of an old Tram.

I shot them on a Agfa APX400 film with my Canon AE1 📷
