One day a writer is going to remember that the All Caste exists and use it in one of the most batshit ways possible. Batman is going to have to chase away like fifty magic users a day who are like “the sole survivor of the All-Caste is here. I need to find them, the fate of the world is at stake.” And Batman just does all sorts of research on it but he can’t FIND anything but he needs to find SOMETHING because then he can finally chase the magicians and wizards and whatnot out of Gotham for Real this time. And the world isn’t doomed anymore or whatever. But mostly so he doesn’t have to deal with magic anymore.

Meanwhile Jason Todd, wielder of the All-Blades, the Last of the All-Caste, professional at flying under the magic radar and not doing his All-Caste duties, watching Batman get greyer by the second looking for him technically: All-Caste? Sounds like a French play.

There’s a little bit of rambling in this but here was my thought process:

The All-Caste teaching is Time related? (past/present/future) --> Clockwork? With his observation of All of Time.

Clockwork has given Ducra teachings to be able to understand (or is Ducra Clockwork?) Time so if the threat of Pariah Dark (evil king) reaches earth, he'd be slain by use of the All-Blade (same mystic energy as Clockwork's staff?), if the Ancients failed in sealing Pariah in the Sarcophagus of Forever Sleep.

In an alternative timeline, during the world-wide destruction of Dan would Jason (after his successful teaching of the All-Caste) be able to end Dan by using the All-Blade?

If Pariah Dark would be a Fire Core, and if the All-Blade represents that. Danny taking the throne, would change the representation to be the current king's Ice Core.

Jason has noticed the energy of the All-Blade has shifted from its normal fire color to a blue.

Danny upon taking the throne as king feels a pulling sensation and decides to follow it. He finds Jason with the All-Blade.

Finding out what the All-Blade is meant for and (maybe) the All-Caste's teachings, Danny understands that if he turned evil (again) someone with power needs to take his life. So, he blesses the All-Blade, so if he ever does turn into another Pariah Dark, Jason will have the opportunity to complete what has to be done.

Consider:

Jason learning how to do summonings/making golems. I'm talking about starting really small with like...rock/pebble golems (ex. see KaypeaCreation's little rock guys and mushroom).

Very small, not incredibly smart, just little guys. Not sure what to do with them, he just puts them in a private rooftop garden with like...a little faerie garden and some birdhouses to hide in. And just slowly works his way up to bigger summoning and such and away from tiny helper golems.

Live theater in the His Dark Materials universe must be wild. Surely an actor's daemon also has lines to recite, so their daemon's form probably also factors into casting decisions. Maybe some plays have vague character descriptions for daemons, but I bet other plays have really specific or central daemon characters. And sure, big-budget theaters can afford to hire a separate actor with a particular daemon to stand backstage while their daemon plays its part onstage, but community theaters don't have those kinds of resources.

Like if you're casting for Julius Caesar, surely the real historical Caesar had a pretty iconic daemon, right? Are you going to cast an actor with a pigeon daemon as Caesar and just have everyone suspend their disbelief that it's Caesar's lioness, ἁμαρτία?

I need...more all-caste content...I need more magic Jason content. Please...feed me... Please also consider Jason learning how to manipulate his soul with the All-Caste as his primary source of magic. Able to infuse his attacks and such with his soul, but you know at the risk of serious injury to himself. Kinda like how using the all-blades drains his life force through his soul he can do the same but doesn't need to use the All-Blades. So like...minor healing via extending his soul and channeling the life force into the wound to heal it or something. Or I don't know, making a shield with it? I'm not sure the full thought process, maybe something similar to how the lanterns can construct things with their rings but I think soul manipulation would be incredibly limited no matter how powerful you are just because of what overextending yourself could cause. So like...he could shield himself from a blow that could kill him and whoever but it will leave a lasting mark on his energy until his soul has healed/replenished. Doing those jumps in Gotham Knights seems like something that would cost...not a lot. I'm thinking of this in a mana-like situation, where jumping wouldn't drain too much as there is plenty of air time in between each one and it acts as a short-lived bounce pad.

I don't know, those are my tired thoughts
