And you’re forgetting the fifth friend, which is Ariel, which is lame.” “Hey,” Davey says, because he’d rather fight about their nephew than talk about…anything else. Les shrugs him off, ducking under a passing awning. “I love Ariel, but he’s six. He’s not exactly gonna land you a life partner, David.”

Truck:

Tuesday arrives and Davey finds himself at the pharmacy with his mom, trailing behind her like a bored kid as she goes poking for a new hairbrush and then more diapers because Sarah really doesn’t have enough stocked up, and look there’s a truck does Davey think Ariel would like that?

Orange:

He spends all afternoon with Jack, hanging out while Jack sketches and curses and forgets to eat a thing. Jack is strange and lovely when he’s lost in his own head, and Davey watches for hours as something new emerges on to the canvas. The whole thing is blocked out by the time Davey finishes his homework and trudges back to his dark apartment to eat some frozen pizza for dinner. The following day he goes back, and Jack starts slashing color around, oranges and reds and golds, and Davey finishes writing his paper and instead of going home to eat pickles, he stays and helps make stir fry.

💖 What do you like most about your own writing?

Oh god lmao such a struggle because I roast my writing on the regular haha. I would say probably that it's cinematic in a way? I'm not sure if I'm just biased on that because I studied film, so I tend to imagine scenarios that way and try to translate it into words as best as I can. I try to think "if this was happening in one of the episodes of this show, how would it play out/be filmed/etc?" I'm not really sure if I'm very successful at it but that's what I would say!!

I hope it isn't a cop out answer to say whatever my newest one is!! Other than that I'd say I really love getting comments on Pranked because it's a little ego boost for me since it was extremely self-indulgent :D

💭 What is a headcanon you have about your own work?

Ooooh interesting question! I definitely have a lot of headcanons for each fic I write! This is a bit of a spoiler since I'm planning on writing this, but for one of my first ever fics (cringe lmao) Flowers, though it's heavily implied you have sex at the end, you don't. That will be coming in chapter two :p

Hmmm... well, there's definitely a lot of WIPs I haven't finished, but I always hope/intend to finish them, so I don't think that I wouldn't intentionally let them see the light of day.

I have a lot of headcanons about the dark!reader/Jamie fic I wrote! Like I've thought of so many things about the reader's backstory and why she's so obsessively in love with Jamie. I'll give you one little idea I had: she fell in love with Jamie originally when she just happened to come upon one of the videos he made for Layla.

nova HATED the smell of weed which is kind of funny for her bc she's like a classic punk and like everyone she knew smoked and most of all her roommate but post-apocalypse she's sort of nostalgic for it and would kill for that sense of normalcy again she'd KILL to be annoyed at her roommate one last time

she also hates the smell of sweat and metal which like. sucks for u queen. this is a zombie apocalypse.... get well soon ❤️

ANNOYINGGGGGG SO ANNOYING but also integral bc they're the first one to risk their life and the first one to throw herself at danger and the glue that binds everyone together with their stupid jokes and ideas like when she and barbie went on a supply run to a department store and returned with the lamest matching sunglasses for the whole gang <3 it's kinda like she's such a rat and everyone knows it but where would anyone be without her

🍰 what's something your oc counts as unforgivable?

messing w the squad 😩 nova doesn't value herself highly so she can forgive any mistreatment of herself but the gang is a whole other story. not at first too !! in fact they were one of the more quick-to-trust survivors of the bunch initially, but after this whole thing went down with a bunch of cops it 1) solidified everyone as inseparable and 2) jaded everyone and made them especially wary of strangers.

for nova her family never treated her like they should have and she blamed herself for it so here she gets this second chance at family and she would do anything to keep it and after seeing the fucked up shit humans are capable after one strike ur OUT forgiveness is off the table !!

🍻 what's your oc's favourite comfort ritual? how do they calm themselves down after a rough day?

pre-apocalypse they'd rollerskate at the skate park with their stupid headphones on trying to look really really cool or maybe go to like an arcade. getting out, though, that was the key.

post-apocalypse i wouldn't say they have any specific rituals, but when they're more anxious they throw it into something productive for the group to keep their mind off things. checking defenses, making pipe bombs, working on the cars, etc. they do fuck around a lot too they just don't stop moving !! knife tricks and flipping lighters and such--anything with their hands.

🌽 how does this oc feel about acts of affection? what's their favourite act of affection, physical or emotional?

they eat it up, especially when it comes from someone who isn't touchy, like andrew. neither of them are affectionate and there's such a tense unspoken thing between them where there's all this trust and loyalty and confidence but any sort of touch would send either of them into a coma bc it’s like an acknowledgment u know?? too much TOOOO much

she's fond of unexpected hugs. she never knows what to do with her hands but it makes her feel loved and needed bc growing up mommy didn't hug her enough 😢 jsdfjndshdjfjhd amalia once ran up to her and gave her a huge hug and kiss on the cheek after pulling a really stupid really brave stunt and it rewired her brain. like 😳 omfg ppl care about me?? no fucking way.......

🍰: What’s something your OC counts as unforgivable?

One of the most unforgivable things in Ariel's eyes is the abuse of others. No matter what the subject is or the type of abuse, Ariel has no tolerance for that shit and is ready to kick your ass.

Angel

🍫: Where does your OC go to think?

Angel has two places to go to when she wants to think. One is her room at Prosperity, which she's decorated with her few remaining personal items and any notes she's collected throughout her travels of Hope County. Second is the flooded remains of Joseph's old Church, there is an odd sense of quiet and calmness there that allows her to think clearly.

🍕: How does an OC spend a lazy day?

Ariel spends her lazy days at home with Angel, doing whatever they want, even if its just laying in her bed and sleeping. She also likes to read.

Angel spends her lazy days just exploring the land. She likes to take photos of anything the sparks her interests. Just like Ariel, she'll sometimes just hang out in her room, away from the outside world, and just lay in her bed. It reminds her of the old days with her mother.
