YEE! I finally managed to craft some half decent wool during a 6 hour Zbrush session mucking about with fibermesh and hair cards!
cept I forgot to show the bell in the Zbrush pics...FFS...oh well!
least I got a good test render! (I made the haircard texture myself!)
Rather pleased with how she's turning out despite the fact I KNOW I'm gonna hate rigging her!
My project group and I designed a new subbrand (in the name of a certain chips producer...) for our classes in corporate communications. I only changed the name of the brand for the upload on artstation for copyright reasons.
The designs were mainly created with my team mates.
When starting 3ds Max it will crash with one or more of these messages:
DLL <c:\programdata\autodesk\applicationplugins\maxtoa_202x\MaxtoA.dlr> failed to initialize.Error code 126 – The specified module could not be found.
DLL <c:\programdata\autodesk\applicationplugins\maxtoa_202x\MaxtoA_Menu.gup> failed to initialize.Error code 126 – The specified module could not be found.
“./ArnoldInstanceShape.dlu” specified in “C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\MAXtoA_20XX\PackageContents.xml” doesn’t exist.
“./ArnoldFluidUtil.dlu” specified in “C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\MAXtoA_20XX\PackageContents.xml” doesn’t exist.
“./OperatorGraphPlugin.dla” specified in “C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\MAXtoA_20XX\PackageContents.xml” doesn’t exist.
Causes:
Corruption during Arnold installation.
Solution:Uninstall and Reinstall the MaxtoA plugin:
In Windows, open the Control Panel > Programs and Features menu.
In the programs list, find the entry for the MAXtoA for 3ds Max plugin.
Right-click the MAXtoA entry > Uninstall.
Download the latest MaxtoA plugin for 3ds Max and install it again.
Note. Do not run any other programs or software during the install.
