Sure, everyone starts somewhere, but ush. I was debating if I should even post this. Or if I should put it under a break so that people wouldn't have to look at it help look I'm trying, okay? It's been years since I've drawn anything and even more years since I coloured anything in digitally. Think 15 years since I last painted anything digitally. And at least 5 since I last drew anything. The style is always very anime, maybe it could change, but that's what I drew as a teen until I just stopped because my friend wasn't very good at it and was getting sad seeing my garbage and I didn't want that so I stopped. Yeah. Kinda stupid, but it's the truth.

And this was... done using artweaver which is a free art tool, and it was done with nothing but intuition lol that's why it looks turbo rudimentary. I drew it by hand and scanned it because my mouse and mousepad are pretty bad (and I obviously don't have an art tablet) so I could never get firm lines by drawing directly on the PC with this trashy old mouse (it has sellotape on it). The colours are... solid. Very solid. I tried some very basic shading purely based on trial and error until I was mildly okay with the result and decided that this was the best I could do at the moment. I could go for more realistic stuff but that would require practice and dedication and time which I'm not willing to spend. The reason I'm giving drawing a shot again at all is because of that event. I will keep practising, especially poses and stuff, so that I can deliver some art if needed. Guess this is both where I'm at right now and kind of a way to show you that with practice I can eventually get somewhere. I will be looking at tutorials and stuff, see if there are helpful tips for this particular app/tool thing and maybe I'll start posting "art" going forward. I don't know. I just know that if needed, I will draw things for this event because I said I would when I say I will, I do.

Happy birthday, Cassie Clara!

I keep forgetting, but my characters do have birthdays, and I should celebrate them.

Cassie Clara's birthday is January 21. It's because she's the 21st character I made for SWAP Ensemble (the last contestant), and I fit a baseline personality to a zodiac sign.

This is a drawing from 2017. Probably done on ArtWeaver. I think that's what I used at the time.

Large multicolor finely woven textile panel decorated with seven horizontal rows of stylized seated zoomorphs having toothy mouths, long stepped tails and large eyes. Lower border band depicting six stylized human figures, each wearing a long stepped tassel type headdress, and string fringe bottom edge. Size: 35-1/2 inches L. x 25-3/4 inches W. I have opened a small shop on Weebly which i am not fully savvy on how it works, and am obviously using the free version, but I did my best to make everything as clear as possible!

(It automatically put everything on sale and I don't know what that's about, but the "sale" price is the actual price. My theory is that sites do this to make things look cheaper to seem more appealing? I don't know. But here, transparency!)

The name was based on Space which is something I like and the logo was designed by me using free pictures from Google and a free programme called Artweaver(and you can see why I'm not selling visual art pieces. Graphic design clearly is my passion!)
