In this blog, we will provide a comprehensive overview, analysis, and future outlook of the baby personal care market, covering key aspects such as market size, share, trends, and future prospects.
Tumblr media
The baby personal care market encompasses a wide array of products specifically formulated for the delicate skin and hair of infants. These products typically include baby shampoo, soap, lotion, oil, wipes, and diaper creams. The emphasis on using gentle and natural ingredients has become a defining characteristic of the market, with many parents seeking products that are free from harsh chemicals and allergens.
Baby Personal Care Analysis
The global baby personal care market has experienced significant growth in recent years, driven by factors such as increasing disposable income, a growing population of working parents, and a heightened awareness of the importance of baby grooming. According to market research, the baby personal care market is expected to continue its upward trajectory, reaching a value of over $8 billion by 2025.
One of the key drivers of this growth is the rising demand for organic and natural baby care products. Parents are increasingly opting for products that are free from parabens, sulfates, and artificial fragrances, contributing to the expansion of the organic segment within the market.
Baby Personal Care Industry Size and Share
The baby personal care industry is characterized by a diverse range of players, including global conglomerates and niche, organic-focused brands. The market is segmented based on product type, distribution channels, and geography. In terms of market share, established brands often dominate, leveraging their reputation for safety and quality.
North America and Europe currently hold a significant share of the baby personal care market, driven by a high level of consumer awareness and purchasing power. However, emerging markets in Asia-Pacific and Latin America are expected to witness substantial growth in the coming years, propelled by increasing urbanization, a rising middle class, and a growing awareness of baby care products.
Baby Personal Care Trends
Several trends are shaping the landscape of the baby personal care market:

Tumblr media
Looking ahead, the baby personal care market future appears promising, with several factors contributing to its growth:
1. Rising Parental Concerns for Baby Health: The increasing awareness of the impact of chemical exposure on infant health will drive parents to seek safer and more natural alternatives, fostering the growth of the baby personal care market.
2. Expanding Middle Class in Emerging Markets: As the middle class expands in regions like Asia-Pacific and Latin America, more families will have the financial means to invest in premium baby care products, contributing to market growth.
3. Technological Advancements: Ongoing research and technological advancements will lead to the development of innovative baby care formulations, addressing specific skin conditions and concerns.
4. Collaborations and Partnerships: Collaborations between baby care brands and healthcare professionals or pediatricians will build trust and credibility, influencing parents’ purchasing decisions.

How To Build the Woman You Want to Be - 2
Please go through the first part before doing this. It’s imperative that you understand the basics.
Step Five:
We will use Pinterest to visualise your new life so that you can attain it faster. Create a new board “My Story” and start sourcing the following:
* 3 pictures of your ideal hair
* 3 pictures of your ideal body
* 5 pictures of ideal physical accessories (bags, shoes, nails, jewellery, sunglasses… whatever resonates with you)
* 5 ideal outfits you want to own (casual, underwear, red carpet, brunch, pyjamas)
* 3 ideal hobby pictures (ballet? Horses riding? Reading?
* 5 ideal life pictures (meditating, working out, attending events, getting make up/hair professionally done…. Your ideal lifestyle!)
* 5 free time pictures (how you and your friends would hang out; how you and your S/O would hang out; family, pets…)
* 7 ideal home pictures (what’s your aesthetic - minimal/ Woodsy, what would the bathrooms look like, house or apartment…)
* 3 work life pictures (if you want to work - where would you work, what position, etc)
* 5 pictures of your ideal partner (how they would look, where they would work, dress, etc)
* 3 pictures of how you would relax alone (go for a walk with your pet? Massages? Read alone? You get the gist)
* 7 pictures of your ideal vacation
* 4 pictures of your ideal meals (breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner)
This is your visual diary. Whenever you feel down, not motivated, lazy, go through this board. This board visualises the best version of you. This is your best self (not was, or will be - this is your best self).
If you can print everything out and stick it on your wall - even better. Nothing like seeing exactly who you’re going to be everyday and claiming it!
Step 6:
It’s analysis time. This is probably going to be the most time-consuming part of the work that you have, but also the the first actual building block towards your Ideal Woman.
- Take a look at your New Story.
- As you read it, make a note (maybe write it on a piece of paper) of all the qualities that you see. Written them as keywords as bullet points. Qualities include all things belonging to your ideal personality (respected, kind, decisive…) and ideal skill set (strategic, creative….).
Ex:
• respected
• kind
• strategic
- Then read the story again and start making a separate note (with bullet points and keywords) about your material life (body type, healthy lifestyle, being clean, attending events, brunches, travelling, your hobbies…)
Ex:
• Toned body
• Clean space
• Reading
- Now read your two lists again. Put a tick mark next to the ones you think are realistic but attainable in at least 3 months. Put a heart next to the ones you feel will take more time and levelling up.
Ex:
Qualities:
• respected ❤️
• kind ✔️
• strategic✔️
Material:
• toned body ✔️
• clean space ❤️
• reading ✔️
• attending events ✔️
- The tick marked list is the list you will start working on immediately. Choose any 2 qualities and 3 material life from the tick marked list. We won’t work on all of them at once because you need to build that habit.
Ex:
• Kind
• Strategic
• Toned body
• Reading
• attending events
- For the next 3 months, you will actively work on your 5 to-dos. With your material life - let’s say for example, a certain body type - start working out from tomorrow itself. I don’t care whether it’s YouTube workouts or gym, you’re going to work on that first step. Or if it’s things like attending events - start by attending events and conferences in your industry or what interests you. Look up online for events happening in your city and go for at least one a month. Everything begins with baby steps.
- With your qualities, let’s say you want to be a good conversationalist. Start researching on the tactics of being a good conversationalist. Also search the opposite - how to recognise a bad conversationalist. Read articles, books, journals and scholarly articles. Practice on strangers when you go grocery shopping or at work. You need to put in the work.
- Not only will you work on your 5 to-dos, but you will set monthly goals for them. You will note down everything - in a journal or your notes app or maybe by taking pictures, however you feel comfortable- you need to quantify your progress.
Ex:
This Month’s Goals:
• Kind - tell my friends that I love them and that they deserve all the love
• Strategic - play brain games like chess to improve myself - play at least 2 times a week online
• toned body- work out for 20 days this month
• attending events - go to 2 conferences this month that are happening in my city or online
• Reading - finish one book this month.
- Every month you will check yourself. Only when you’ve accomplished at least 85% of the tasks will you add a new item from the tick marked list or remove an existing item that you finished.
- Every three months you need to go back to the New Story and your Pinterest board with greater detail. How close are you to your goal? If you think you’ve achieved something, give yourself a pat on the back!
The last and final part of this series will be uploaded after two days.

Laucy 2.O
Hiiii babies and dear Anons 👋🏼🤗. I'm back with a new post. And I know, I know, I apologize again for my disappearance but I haven't been well for 3 months and also have been in the hospital again for a week 😭. I don't want to bore you with my health, but I just ask you to be patient again for future posts 😅🙏🏼.
I was answering the asks in my mail when I realized that 2 of them in particular were asking the same thing. I started writing and the more I did, the more I realized how long it was getting and I therefore decided to split it off from the Q&A post I started and which you guys will have, and make it a separate one on today's topic which you can see from the title.
Without further ado, let's go straight to the answers of those 2 asks. Enjoy 🙃.
Tumblr media
HIII to you too, my dear 👋🏼😄. You're the purple heart Anon 🙃. That's how I always mentioned you to my gf, and the fact that you always remembered to say hi to me because you know it's important to me, always distinguished you from others especially because you do it in caps every time and you always make me smile/laugh because I know it's a dig for all those Anons who don't 🤣. Of course I remember you, as you can see 🤗!
1) I'm getting better. Very slowly, but I'm getting better. I still have a lot of medical checks to do but then I hope to finish once and for all because I'm honestly tired of hospital, doctors, and being sick in general 😩. Thank you for your concern and I really hope you're well and healthy 🥰.
2) Of course I can expose them 😉. This post is dedicated to that 😜.
And yeah, I hope they don't steal again because for real then I'd stop doing big analysis like I did in the past for Laucy, for the AMA's 2018, etc. I just want people to respect my decision to not want my stuff off Tumblr and ask me first if they really wanna post anything of mine outside of here, so that we can arrange what’s good for me for them to post and what’s not. That's all.
P.S. you made me laugh with the caps part which I guess was shouted 🤣🤣.
3) Thank you for always being so kind to me, my dear 💜 Anon. I really mean it 🤗. Have a beautiful day too 🙃. My gf says hi too 😄. I love you too and take care 😘.
Tumblr media
Hello to you too, dear Anon 👋🏼😄. Greetings from my gf too 🙃.
It is a pain, and not because you asked, but because of the PR. And not even for the PR per se, but just because it's always the same shit we've seen (and will continue to see) over and over again but with different people. But anyway, let's get into it.
Oh and, small disclaimer. Sasha's pronouns are ze/her/they and I used she/her when I wrote this. I'm explaining this to you guys just to clarify that I didn't misgender her, okay? Good 😇.
Let's start with the new and improved version of Laucy. Welcome to Laucy 2.O, my dear Anon and my dear 💜 Anon, and any other of you babies who are reading.
Sasha Mallory, born on August 6, 1988 (age 35), professional dancer, and runner-up on season 8 of So You Think You Can Dance in 2011 when she was 23. She's worked in many dance companies, music videos, tours of singers such as Madonna, Adam Lambert, and Katy Perry, and done much more. Along with her family, she owns and operates the Mallory Academy of Dance (in Bakersfield California) in which she obviously also teaches.
In my opinion, chosen precisely because of her sexuality (as Laur herself said when talking about the Valentine's Day post in the People article: “Queer representation is important”) and her profession because, unlike Laur's other queer friends who were already her friends anyway and someone new was needed in her life, Sasha's in the industry and travels a lot precisely for the same reason. She ‘understands’ that life. And she certainly benefits from the money made from the contract and, more importantly, the visibility in the industry for her work.
Having explained the basics, let's get down to the facts and the not-so-subtle stages:
The beginning
-  Prelude. For those who don't know, Prelude premiered with a special global livestream via Moment House on October 14 and 15, 2021, but was officially released on November 5, 2021. It took them 6 days to make/film it. On September 11, 2021, Laur received the videos that she included by turning them almost into a documentary (with the help of Matthew Siskin of course, the co-director and co-editor along with Lo), and they started promoting the project on September 14, 2021. Before all this, however, there were the organization and the rehearsals to bring the project to life.
Lauren and Sasha met in mid-August 2021 (roughly the 13th) thanks to Coral Dolphin, the choreographer who took care of Prelude (and the tour).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
To confirm the timeline, these are Laur's very first likes on their profiles (Coral Dolphin, José Gabriel Baez, Sasha, and Triana Steward), except for Aahkilah Cornelius, who didn't even have IG at the time, and Jesse Johnson who didn't post anything in general (not even anything personal) from the time they met (not even Prelude) until 2022 (personal stuff).
- From November 20 to December 1, 2021, Tour: An Evening with Lauren Jauregui. With Laur, Coral direction and choreography, and Sasha and José dancers.
The hang out no longer just professional
- First speculations created on March 12, 2022, after the insta-stories and that post (posted two days later) with the alpacas, with contribution of the tweet to pretend to mislead, but actually start inserting the seed 🧫 into people's heads 🧠:
Tumblr media
A couple of appearances together with other friends: 1) at Banks' concert on Apr 6, 2022, along with *cough* coincidentally and not to publicize two things at the same time *cough*  the announcement of Laur's participation in The Serpentina Tour, 2) at Coachella on Apr 17, 2022, *cough* she didn't go there with Lo and her friends, she was there only because she had to perform/dance with Channel Tres with whom she was booked from Mar 18, 2022, to Dec 31, 2022 *cough*.
- Sasha danced with her and José again (for the last time so far) at the Al Sol Blume Festival on April 30, 2022 (the 3 of them rehearsed from the 27th to the 29th).
Another appearance together on a boat with all of Laur's friends on May 14, 2022.
- Rumors reinforced by the trip to Cuba for Laur's birthday in which I'll underline, there were other people, friends, with them and her brother. *let's water the seed 💧*
Tumblr media
We're just friends, people, isn't it obvious? *Please don't let it be obvious*
Tumblr media
+ denial/fake protection
- Sasha went on the New York (July 27, 2022) and Denver (Aug 2, 2022) tour dates before continuing with her gig for the Channel Tres tour, and on Aug 1st, Laur posted that tweet just to add fuel to the fire. *let's keep watering 💧*
Tumblr media
Lo wished her a happy birthday with a post on Aug 6, 2022.
- On November 29, 2022, Sasha posted a TikTok with the “Reasons Why I'm SINGLE” filter and on December 3, 2022, she replied to someone by saying that she and Lauren were just friends. Both then deleted. Did you have any doubts about it? 😑
In the meantime tho, other appearances together: on Sept 17, 2022, (Aliyah Niambi's insta-story) to celebrate an Aja Monet working achievement, on Oct 30, 2022, for Halloween, on Oct 31, 2022, for the Paramore concert, and on Dec 8, 2022, for Channel Tres tour date in L.A. where Ty was too. *👏🏼🙌🏼 a reunion with 2 PRs, yeeeey 🥳🤣🤣🤣*
“She like who she like”/The confirmation
Tumblr media
- Snow Tha Product EVERYNIGHTNIGHTS PODCAST live streamed on January 12, 2023, in which Laur publicly said for the first time that she was into a woman, specifying “a femme, a non-binary” and choking and freaking out more and more in explaining because she didn't know whether she was defining her the correct way or not. Sasha changed her bio to the one she still has now immediately after: * we're almost there 💧*
Tumblr media
- On January 18, 2023, there was the video on Lauren's Patreon Zoom as they played Uno to confirm even more who she was talking to Snow about, plus the fans' backlash and Laur's obvious reaction to 100% confirm: *has germinated 🌱*
Tumblr media
- The UnitedMasters GRAMMY party (Feb 3, 2023) before the final push, let's call it the oh-so-unpredictable boom of the definitive confirmation of the Valentine's Day post (Feb 14, 2023).
The explanation
- In the Zach Sang Show interview released on March 31, 2023, she said that they'd been together for a year, that there had been attraction from the first moment they danced Don't Wanna Say, and that however, neither of them told the other anything for a while; Sasha because Lauren was her boss and she wanted to be respectful and Laur because she didn’t think it was mutual. She explained that she was the one who made the first move by inviting her over to her house to hang out. They cooked together and only after Sasha left very early, Lo confessed everything to her via text to which Sasha replied that she felt the same way. Laur specified that it happened the night before she left to go back to Miami because she still lived there and still had 3 months of lease for the house.
End of the important stuff (for now)
Now let's talk logic, dates, and bullshit.
Let's break down piece by piece the already checked and verified facts I've listed to you, with what she said on the Zach Sang Show, and let's see what's true and what's not.
1) Taking into consideration the date I believe to be correct, Lauren and Sasha met on August 13, 2021. Attraction from the first moment they danced Don’t Wanna Say: “The chemistry was just crazy. I was like, what the fuck is this? I feel so attracted to you”.
In addition to the promo for Prelude, there was no interaction or public appearance together until the tour.
2) They went on tour from November 20 until December 1, 2021. “And then it was like super low-key. We both had like a crush on each other but didn't say anything about it for a minute”, Sasha because Lauren was her boss and she wanted to be respectful, and Laur because she didn't think it was mutual.
After the tour, again no public appearances together until March 12, 2022 (alpacas). This, this one right here, is the timespan that interests us the most.
3) The first move and the confession: “I invited her to come over to hang out with me and we made dinner together and stuff. And it was a date in my head, but she didn't know it was a date. She thought we were hanging out just casually” - small pause to look at Chantal (her manager Chantal Felice) as she did other times during bullshit - “So she ended up leaving hella early” blah, blah, blah, blah, blah “I sent her this like, really long cute ass message and she was like: what?”
4) The explanation of when it happened: “Actually, that happened right before I left back to Miami. So we were here in L.A. and it was right before I left back to Miami because I was living in Miami at the time. So I had like 3 months still of my lease in Miami. So it was like the day before I left, was when I texted her and was like ‘this is how I feel’. And she was like ‘what the fuck? I feel the same way’ and I was like ‘what?’. So yeah, we had like 3 months in between. - Now we see each other when we can”.
Okay, that day? That dinner ‘they had’ the night before going back to Miami? It never happened. And those 3 months that she wanted to make believe were in Miami? They're not correct.
No surprise there since we know it's all made-up narrative for the PR, but do you wanna know how I know? I know because unfortunately for both Camren, fans save every little thing posted on the internet that concerns them and their lives. I checked. Laur's last night in L.A. was December 18, 2021, and who did she spend it with? WITH CORAL! They had dinner IN A RESTAURANT before going to The Peppermint Club (West Hollywood). The next day (the 19th), Lo was in Miami and returned to Los Angeles on February 5, 2022.
Here you can see the screenshots I took of Laur's insta-stories. One from her last day in Miami on February 4, 2022, with Mateo, the son of her friend Alexa Ferrer, and another one from when she returned to Los Angeles on February 5, 2022, which can be compared with the post Lo published on February 25, 2022, in which she was with her friend Britt (Brittany Martinez-Hewitt):
Tumblr media
Here, however, Coral's insta-story (Dec 18) and the screenshot I took from one of Laur's insta-stories (Dec 19), specifically from the one where she was playing with Cleo:
Tumblr media
You can also compare Coral's insta-story with the post Laur published on December 21, 2021. From slides 6, 7, and 10, you can very well see both how Lo's outfit matches and how it was the same night.
You can also see from Coral's insta-story how it was night outside. It's clearly visible from the glass window behind Laur. And now tell me, is there anything about this picture that makes you think it was Lauren's house or otherwise a house in general? And does it look like Sasha was there? Maybe hidden under the small table that was clearly only for two people and that makes you understand that no one else was with them? 🤣🤣🤣 Sasha wasn't even there that night! They didn't see each other at all! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤣🤣🤣 So what dinner had and cooked at your house the night before you went to Miami are we talking about, Laur? What in the PR and the alternative universe are you talking about? 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤣🤣🤣
Debunked the dinner, let's move on to the 3 months.
The timespan between December 18, 2021 (last day in L.A.) and February 5, 2022 (return to L.A.) is 1 month and 18 days to be exact. I'm gonna abound by saying they were almost 2 months if I have to, but it's certainly not 3. They don't match the idea that by “I was living in Miami at the time. So I had like 3 months still of my lease in Miami - So yeah, we had like 3 months in between”, she meant to imply that they didn't see each other because she stayed in Miami for 3 months. Yeah, she still had 3 months of lease for the house, but that doesn't mean she stayed there for real as I've shown you. And it can't even be that she was talking about another time period because she's never stayed in Miami for 3 months since she met Sasha in August of 2021.
On the other hand, the timespan between December 18, 2021 (last day in L.A.) and March 12, 2022 (alpacas) is 2 months and 22 days. I can again abound by saying that they were almost 3 months, but only to let Lo get away with it. This does match the “we had like 3 months in between”, but it also proves another lie at the same time.
Remember how I also wrote in the initial list that Sasha was booked to perform with Channel Tres from March 18, 2022, to December 31, 2022? Well, she hadn't left yet for the first date, which was Lollapalooza in Chile (March 18, 2022). So, if Laur was back in town on February 5, 2022, what exactly was the reason they didn't see each other for precisely 1 month and seven days (February 5 to March 12) before that PUBLIC hang-out with Lauren's friends (alpacas)?
If December 18, 2021 (last day in L.A.) and March 12, 2022 (alpacas) match the almost 3 months said on the Zach Sang Show, what exactly was the reason for not seeing each other before the 12th (alpacas)? After not seeing each other since that oh-so-real dinner before Laur returned to Miami, and especially after they confessed to liking each other via texts, do they really want me to believe they waited another month since Lauren was back in town to see each other? And in the company of other people on top of that? Come on now 🤣🤣🤣. After all that waiting, they would've seen each other the moment Laur set foot back in town if it had been a real relationship.
Debunked even the 3 months, let's move on to the part of the interview in which she said they'd been together for a year.
As I said before, the Zach Sang Show interview was released on March 31, 2023. It was filmed definitely a few days prior or in any case in the same month since it was primarily done for the promo of Trust Issues (which was released on the same day as the interview) and In Between. From that, since to Zach's question “How long have you been together?” she answered “We've been together for like a year” and it was March 2023, we can establish that by March 2022 they were already together officially as a couple. Or rather, already since before February 2022 given what Laur said about the Valentine's Day post in the interview with People (May 26, 2023): “We'd been together for a year by that point”.
Neither of them has yet specified what the official date is, but still based on the date of Lo's last day in L.A. because of the so-real ‘dinner and text’ story, we can assume that December 18, 2021, is the specific date on which they officially got together. Unless we'll have anniversary posts in the future.
So, if they've already been together since December 18, 2021, then why instigate/tease Snow during her podcast about the fact that she missed the opportunity to kiss her in the Piña video? Why push her so hard and on several occasions for other things as well?
***I'd like to clarify anyway that I've taken Mila completely out of the equation also because this acting as single people of theirs is something that has been going on for them basically since the X-Factor days (they did, they do, and they have to keep doing it for appearances, or simply when they're mad at each other 😅). All this is just me proving and exposing Laucy 2.O. Okay, let's move on.***
And speaking of Piña, on September 19, 2022, Lauren and Snow did the TikTok live to promote the song by also saying that they would've made the video as soon as they were both in town (L.A.). Which happened in October. On October 5, 2022, @jakehenrythgc posted a picture together with Lo on the set of the video (in the La Cita Bar: bar/live music venue/nightclub in Downtown L.A.). Laur posted an insta-story while watching the full video for the first time on October 26, 2022, and on December 19, 2022, the video was released.

So if the video was shot on October 5 when Snow missed the opportunity to kiss her, shouldn't that date be calculated in that year with Sasha? Was it crossed off in the calendar and no one told me? If Laur had actually been in a relationship for a year, she wouldn't have insisted so much on the missed opportunity to be kissed by another person even if only professionally. Although we could see in that very podcast how important 'professionally' is to Lauren. So important, she didn't even remember doing it with a guy in the Always Love video 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣.
But back to being serious. If she'd actually been in a relationship for a year, she never would've pressed and pushed Snow's buttons in that way on different things. But no, she instigated/teased her a lot of times by even saying other things outside of Snow specifically, like the fact that she likes to provoke in general even straight girls: “I love making straight girls question who they are” – “I'm just trying to see if you're really as straight as you think you are”.
And with those 2 sentences, I want to remind you all of something she said in Becky G's podcast (the very first reason why I'm here and you guys know me https://fa-by.tumblr.com/post/648191757219250176/there-is-a-light-at-the-end-of-the-tunnel) and how these 2 sentences are yet another proof of how much bullshit she had to say that day to hide her truth:
Wasn't she the one who had an ‘issue flirting with girls’ and who felt ‘disgustingly uncomfortable’ because she felt ‘like a predator’, ‘the aggressor’, ‘the one who was like the masculine energy in the scenario’, because she was ‘always the one turning her’? Wasn't she the one who didn't want to be able to ‘potentially put off that kind of vibe onto someone or invade or like anything like that’? So, WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT? And even with straight girls no less 🤦🏻‍♀️. Please, Lauren, explain yourself? Explain to the audience 🤣. Justify the bullshit you had to say about Camila by succeeding in making a lot of CS leave. Justify the bullshit you had to say in comparison with the truth and reality you said NOW.
All the chickens come home to roost, my friends. Always 🙌🏼. It doesn't matter if years go by, but the truth always comes out 🔥.
Anyway, back to Laucy 2.O. If Lauren had actually been in a relationship for a year, she wouldn't have behaved that way with another person. She wouldn't have done any of that. She wouldn't have behaved the way an available person would. This even proves by itself that the relationship is fake. The fact that she did it during a live podcast and didn't give a damn about all the fans present, proves it even more. Tsk-tsk. In a relationship for a year, HA! Don't make me laugh 😏.
Not to mention the fact that Sasha was (and maybe still is) with Baylie Olsen. Now the engagement you mentioned in the ask, there's no trace of anything like that at all as far as I know, dear Anon. It'll be part of the various bullshit that CS and other ‘fans’ made up 🤷🏻‍♀️ as usual 🙄. What I do know and can prove is the fact that Sasha and Baylie met in early May 2019 during rehearsals for the Eurovision performance which then took place on May 18, 2019, with Madonna.
Tumblr media
They were both backup dancers throughout Madonna's Madame X era including the Madame X Tour which lasted from September 12, 2019, to March 4, 2020. And as you can see here:
Tumblr media
They started dating loooong before August 2021, which is when Lauren and Sasha met, and that they continued to do so at least publicly until April 2022, which is even after the hang-out with the alpacas (March 14, 2022).
Tumblr media
And these are not even all the pictures they commented on and liked on each other 🤣. There are many more that you can very well go see for yourselves on both of their profiles. So “My first Valentine” my ass, Sasha 🤣. Oh and by the way, Laur was obviously aware and supportive of their relationship:
Tumblr media
Going back to talking about the Valentine's Day post instead: “I kinda did it very whimsically. I didn't even tell her I was gonna post it” (Zach Sang Show) – “On Valentine's Day, I did it very impulsively. I didn't even talk with them about it first” (People). Oh yeah sure, because it's totally normal to not talk to your partner about something as unimportant as making it official to the world BEFORE actually doing it, right?
Miss I prefer to live my life off of social media and keep my private life private, Miss confidentiality, Miss privacy in all respects suddenly didn't care. Miss I keep having to pretend that I was outed in 2016 and not that it was all arranged, suddenly just didn't care about doing something like that? Seriously? Suuuure. Sure, sure, sure, Jan, right. No, for real, who believes that? Who can believe that that behavior could have been normal and not something planned/arranged?
Even this alone, does nothing but prove 2 things (again, back to my very first post and Becky G's podcast and all that fake situation they created that I talked about on several occasions): 1) It reconfirms for the umpteenth time the story of the fake coming out arm-in-arm with the PR with Lucrezia um sorry, Lucy. 2) This PR with Sasha.
Why? Because someone who claims to have been haunted by being outed when she wasn't ready, DOESN'T BEHAVE THAT WAY! Someone who claims to have been traumatized by that whole experience, someone who's not an ordinary person but a public figure and therefore double haunt and trauma, DOESN'T DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT! Tell me who, after all that, wouldn't talk to their girlfriend before officially posting something romantic-wise for the first time? Who wouldn't make sure she was okay with it first? Especially since, again, we're not talking about an ordinary person. We're talking about someone famous with 12 million followers on IG.
A person who's actually gone through that kind of trauma, would never dare to do that. It wouldn't even cross their mind because they'd have respect for the person they're with. They’d also take their partner's feelings into consideration. They’d make sure that it would be okay for them even if their partner's out and proud, because they would never want to make someone else experience the trauma they themselves experienced firsthand. And honestly, tell me, does this seem to be the case for Lauren?
What I'm seeing now, from the podcast with KITTENS actually, is that they're using the strategy of showing Lauren's change. Showing more and more how she's healed and how she's more comfortable and open with her sexuality. I'm very happy about it, don't get me wrong. It's about time she could show what she in reality is since she was 17/18 years old. And I'm not even saying it's not true that for years she'd struggled with her internalized homophobia and all the other problems. Hell, we know fully well that's true. And I also understand that she had to suppress herself and follow the narratives mostly to hide Camren, let alone if I don't understand that. I'm just saying that, what I don't like is the way they made her act. Just as it doesn't sit well with me the usual incoherent love propaganda that they've already used in the past. I'll explain myself better.
Oh and, speaking of incoherent love propaganda used before. Is it only me who noticed that since that Valentine's Day post, Lauren's started talking about Sasha in interviews in the exact same way she used to talk about Ty when she was in a PR relationship with him? I mean, no differences? No imagination for something new? No? Just copy and paste? Um, okay… I- um 🤔🤨 I'll shut up 🤐.
Tumblr media
Back to this incoherent love propaganda.
If “We're so solid, and we have such a beautiful foundation and so much trust and love between us” (People), and if “the core-” of their relationship “-is love and respect” as she said in Shannon Boodram's podcast along with other things, then where was this trust and respect when she thought (?):
Zach Sang Show: “Damn is Valentine’s Day. I’m seeing all these people post their babes, I was like, this is my baby. Like I’m in love and I don’t care. I don’t care!” --- “But like I said, Valentine’s Day came, I saw all these cute pictures and I was like, you know what? Me and baby are cute. So I’m gonna post it”.
People: “I'm in love. We'd been together for a year by that point, and I was like, ‘You know what? Fuck it’.” --- “On Valentine's Day, I did it very impulsively. I didn't even talk with them about it first. I was just seeing people post their significant others, and I was just like, ‘Dude, I'm in love. These pictures are so cute. We're so cute. People deserve to see this shit’. Queer representation is important, I think”.
So 🤔 what I grasped from both interviews is that, she did it because she didn't care and because people deserved to see that shit because queer representation is important (although I agree with that last part), but at the same time (?):
Zach Sang Show: “The layer of fame is like a whole thing. But it’s so beyond that. I think the reason I keep my private life private for the most part, is because people are so invasive and projective”. --- “Especially people who say they’re fans”. --- “There’s those other people who just are so attached to you that they feel they have ownership over you and then they just like, trash someone you love and just try to make their lives miserable or make up things about them”. --- “That part is so weird to me, so I try to keep what makes me happy away from people who want to project unhappiness onto it”.
Oh yeah, we all saw that 🤦🏻‍♀️.
I mean, I'm being sarcastic here because she was talking about Sasha's situation, which is not true. But it is the truth in reality. It's the truth that applies in her life and above all with whom? *whispered echo: 🗣️ Cameeeela*
People: “Most of my relationships, I keep under wraps, just because it's really odd to have so many strangers have an opinion about who you're choosing to love or what goes on between the two of you. But I just want to be able to love them out loud and be able to share that with people”. --- “So, people's opinions don't really don't matter. Honestly, for me, it's more so about protecting them and making sure that they don't feel attacked because fans are fans”.
Protect them/her? PROTECT HER? 🤣🤣🤣 How? By exposing her and you guys ‘relationship’ to the world without even telling her? Ahh, okay 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Exposing her for sure keeps people from attacking her precisely because she's your girlfriend, sure, undoubtedly 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣. Mh-hmm, yeah, this way of thinking would've made sooo much sense if the relationship was true 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣.
“There's other fans who call themselves fans that I don't really consider fans. People who feel very possessive over you and feel like they have a right to tell you who you should or should not be with, which is really fascinating to me because you're literally a stranger who's never met me in real life. So it's really interesting that you think about who I should or shouldn't be with. And people have prejudices. Racism is a very real thing, and I don't like when she gets attacked or people send her really crazy-ass messages or send weird messages to her family. I really wanted to avoid that, but it was kind of happening anyways because people assumed we were in a relationship. So I was just like, ‘I guess it doesn't really fully matter at this point’. We just have to ignore those kinds of people as much as we can, because sometimes they're really violent and need to be handled. But for the most part, it's really just harmless, online shit”.
Putting aside the part where I super agree that people need to stop harassing them (Camren) and the people in their lives, let's talk about “I really wanted to avoid that, but it was kind of happening anyways because people assumed we were in a relationship” and “I guess it doesn't really fully matter at this point”.
She really wanted to avoid that, but she did it anyway, because she guessed it didn't really fully matter at that point because people assumed they were in a relationship?? Really??? What kind of protection would this be????
So, wait, wait, wait. From the top.
She wanted to avoid letting people know because she wanted to protect her and make sure she and her family weren't attacked, then Valentine's Day came along and she thought fuck it. Fuck her own privacy, fuck the protection of Sasha and her family, and fuck their trust and respect because, given that she saw people posting their significant other, she whimsically and impulsively decided to do the same. She revealed their relationship to the whole world without TELLING HER ANYTHING FIRST because she didn't care, because people deserved to see that shit because queer representation is important, and because she guessed it didn't really fully matter at that point because people already assumed they were in a relationship.
I mean… WHAT?????
Tumblr media
What in the world? What in the inconsistency? What kind of contradiction is all this? No really. Was all of that more important than her own girlfriend? Seriously?? No, I'm sorry. This is yet another proof of how fake and organized all this is.
From a logical point of view, it's impossible for me to think that Lauren just didn't care. It's impossible to think that she did it by putting all of that above her girlfriend's respect and trust. It's impossible to think they didn't talk about it before posting. It's impossible period.
This is Lauren we’re talking about here! Empathetic, caring, selfless, sensitive, and with a great emotional connection Lauren! The real Lauren would never do something like this. She would never put her own needs before those of someone she cares about. To quote Alastor ‘Mad-Eye’ Moody in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire: ‘End of story. Goodbye. The end.’ Sorry but I had to 😅🤣. The conversation required a final quote 🙃.
But anyway. The bottom line of this charade: supposedly met on August 13, 2021, months without saying they had crushes on each other, non-existent dinner the night before going to Miami after which Laur texted her that she liked her and Sasha reciprocated, and therefore they got together supposedly the same night on December 18, 2021. Throughout all this, Sasha and Baylie were still together even still publicly, and Laur continued to act ‘single’ until Valentine's Day of the following year (2023).
Make it make sense! Make it make sense, seriously! But no hey, we know that a PR relationship MUST create doubts in people's heads and MUST NOT look perfect at all otherwise people would get bored and not speculate about it. Right, my bad I almost forgot 🤦🏻‍♀️.
So, this is the timeline, dear Anon. As for your question “Why would Lauren get into a relationship with someone else who is in a relationship?”, in my opinion, the better question would be ‘why did Sasha agree to do this since she was/maybe still is in a relationship?’. She was/is the one in a normal public relationship contrary to Laur who has a hidden one.
For Lauren it's business and it's convenient for many things. It's a cover for Camren and the songs, and it helps her queer image. Again “Queer representation is important”. But Sasha? Who knows. As I also said at the beginning, she benefits from both the money made from the contract and, more importantly, the visibility in the industry for her work. For the rest, I don't know how it went.
Lauren was looking for a girl for PR. Maybe Lauren was talking about it in general as friends do, and Sasha volunteered. Maybe Sasha talked about it with Baylie who, being an artist and a dancer as well and who therefore understands that lifestyle, agreed with it. Or maybe it was Lo's old management's idea after seeing them dance at the August rehearsal since we know very well how gays think, and they anticipated the reaction that inevitably happened later with the Prelude live. Or maybe it was Lauren's own idea since she has more freedom in her choices and she proposed it to her. I don't know. I don't know this. There's no proof around yet. I can only speculate.
Fact is that I don't see Lauren in a bad light here. It's not the first time she's been portrayed as a homewrecker and a traitor. They tried it before with the Lauren, Lucy, Ty, and Alycia Bella (ex of Ty) square story, and they tried again now with Sasha and Baylie. I didn't fall for it then and I don't fall for it now. You know why? Because it's all fake. I said it before and I also explained it in my PR stunt relationships - ɟ post: a PR relationship MUST create doubts in people's heads and MUST NOT look perfect at all otherwise people would get bored and not speculate about it.
So, dear Anon, the best thing to do in these cases is not to ask yourself questions like “Why would Lauren get into a relationship with someone else who is in a relationship?” since it's all fake and organized to entertain an audience, but it's to not ask yourself these kinds of questions at all precisely because it's all fake and organized to entertain an audience. But if you really have to, ask yourself questions that go arm-in-arm with reality and not Hollywood fiction 😉.
I hope I helped you understand as you hoped 🙃.

What moon signs would u consider detrimental and why
Oooooh- this is a good question to spill some tea on while I watch the first season of House.
I'm watching the episode where the ten-year-old girl has a heart attack and it's basically about the huge discrimination and weight bias in the medical industry.
And Jesse Spencer is a total cunt and unfortunately, Australian society's opinion towards weight is very cunty.
But moving back- firstly...there is no such thing as a 'bad' moon sign but there are moon signs which are more difficult to have than others.
Disclaimer: These opinions are based on astrology which isn't a scientific method of psychological analysis- don't take this seriously.
Some Difficult Moon Signs To Have & Why:
Anything Saturn related (Capricorn or Aquarius Moon) is difficult to have because Saturn represents restriction in traditional astrology-
So, this influence 'forces' a restriction in emotional range and vulnerability...typically growing up with parent/s who didn't show a lot of emotional affection or care- or might have to learn to rely on themselves for support and comfort.
One of my friends is a Capricorn Moon whose mother passed away when she was a child, she was emotionally coerced into being a substitute mother for her younger siblings and therefore was unable to be 'just a kid'.
Anything Mercurial related (Gemini or Virgo Moon) can be difficult because these are the academic/achievement babies of traditional zodiac signs- many people with this placement grew up affiliating academic and intellectual achievement with emotional care and comfort.
This girl in my university class was a Gemini Moon ( I did a random natal chart analysis on her for funsies) and she would get paid...PAID from her parents if she scored over 90% in her exams and assessments.

SO MUCH FOR STARDUST (THE TRACK) IS ABOUT MANIA [ANALYSIS]
LYRICS
“I'm in a winter mood, dreaming of spring now”: Winter as a reflection of how negative and cold Pete feels (towards himself and the industry) as a result of the reception of MANIA. He’s dreaming of a better time where he can start anew (spring as a symbol for birth/new things) away from all of the negativity MANIA generated from its poor reception. MANIA came out during Winter. So Much (for) Stardust came out during Spring.
“I'm burning myself down”: Shows how Pete felt like he had to start over after MANIA and can explain why SMFS sounds so different from MANIA. He didn’t want to make the same ‘mistakes’ (we love MANIA here this is from his POV). Can also represent his negative self talk as a result of the album flopping because he gets his worth from external validation (will he touched on in later lyrics)
“I feel like something bad has stretched out over and over again// Until I'm creased and I'm about to break down the middle// Split me right down the middle, right, right down the middle, yeah”: Here Pete reflects on the damage that has been done to him. He feels drained after having to call on his negative emotions to make art as many times as he has (over and over referring to the repetitive nature of this) and it's so bad to the point he feels like he’s going to break. He’s tired of having to write about negative stuff and so when he was creating MANIA, he was excited that a lot of the songs weren’t as serious and more fun. He was probably crushed when they weren’t received well because 1) vulnerable because he was trying something new and was already insecure 2) felt like once again he had to be like “old FOB” to be liked which has been a constant struggle of the band 3) was excited to put out an album that wasn’t so negative that wouldn’t drain him as much since he didn’t have to call on so many negative emotions to create the album “Right down the middle'' can also signify how there are two parts of him: one part of him who wants to make authentic art that’s whatever he’s feeling at the time which isn’t as angsty anymore because he’s better now and another part who wants to go with what’s popular (which is his angsty stuff) because he’s dependent on external validation. He feels pulled in two opposing directions. In general these lyrics speak on the toll his art has taken on him and can represent pre versus post hiatus which is another debate within the fanbase often about which is better.
“The stars are the same as ever”: referring to how the industry (despite changing) generally stays the same which is added pressure for FOB to not change their sound. Which I think makes sense because with FOB specifically, there’s been ongoing talk for ages about how people want them to remain the same.
“I don't have the guts to keep it together”: Pete being vulnerable and admitting the negative backlash has affected him more than he lets on. I think a lot of artists try to put on a facade like they don’t care about negative reviews, but at the end of the day it sucks when people don’t like your work. Could also refer to how sometimes he wants to resort to OG Fall Out Boy because he ‘doesn’t have the guts’ to try anything experimental again like MANIA after how it was received
“Stuck in the permafrost”: Pete feeling like he’s not allowed to change. Like he has to maintain this image of a sad emo guy forever because that’s what he was known for and that’s what essentially got him popular.
“Life is just a game, maybe// I'm stuck in a lonely loop, my baby”: Life to him in the music industry at times feels like a game to maintain popularity while also keeping authentic to himself. It feels like he’s in this loop of oscillating between those two options, while also in general feeling lonely because of MANIA’s reception. He feels like the industry that at one time loved him, rejected him during MANIA which leads to him feeling lonely
“We thought we had it all, thought we had it all”: Pete’s confidence that MANIA would be received well because of how well their other albums had been received. He thought they had it all and MANIA doing as poorly as it did shattered that illusion and threw Pete into a spiral. He didn’t want to make another album where that happened and his confidence around being able to succeed is shaken and explains why SMFS (the album) has a lot of moments of anxiety. The repetition of the phrase “thought we had it all” reflects this mental spiral. The general tone of this song sounds desperate/dramatic as well which reflects Pete’s state of feeling caught off guard, panicked, and hurt
“I need the sound of crowds or I can't fall asleep at night”: Pete's reflection on the effects of fame. He feels like he needs that validation to be at ease because he's dependent on external validation as many creatives are. It shows how he was affected by the poor reception of MANIA. Led to sleepless nights and him wanting to do better to win people back over. He needs that external validation even though he’s tried to convince himself he doesn’t
“I can't take my thoughts and I// Can't take my thoughts and I am awake”: Since he didn’t get that praise for MANIA, there are no crowds and therefore can’t fall asleep. Part of the reason he likes the crowds/praise is that it drowns out the voices in his head that say he’s a failure and that his work sucks. His negative thoughts are too overwhelming. In a way this song is almost meta because he’s using his pain that came from the poor reception of MANIA to write about how using his pain over and over in his work has damaged him and put him into a box, perhaps as an effort to break out of that cycle
“Another year of possibilities left unwrapped// Like it's the day right after Christmas past”: Possibilities to start anew after MANIA, in a way a callback to the spring line. It also calls back to FUTCT (line in Our Lawyer that says “the ribbon on my wrist says do not open before christmas”). Significant because FUTCT is often considered the best/peak FOB by a lot of people. A lot of people have said that So Much (for) Stardust sounds “the most like old FOB” so this line could be confirmation by Pete that they did try to return to their old sound for this album (which he knows will be more popular than MANIA). It can also explain the concept of 8 balls and why we’re getting the deepest cuts we have more so than past tours. They know that is what the fans want and will assure the return of crowds/popularity. It’s a way of rewarding the fans that stuck around despite the poor reception of MANIA. These 8 balls are for us. Pete was probably worried that with how negative people thought of the album, they would potentially lose their diehards too. But we stayed. Also wanna add that the backlash of MANIA probably reminds him of the reception of Folie which scared him even more when MANIA was getting shit on. Going through it twice is painful. I think choosing Folie songs for 8 balls shows them as a band reclaiming their history. Playing Folie songs as the crowd screams and cheers loudly is a way for them to reclaim their history where in the past they would get booed for doing Folie and so they didn’t want to play anything from that. The 8 balls show how far they’ve come!!! As people have said So much for tourdust in many ways is their healing tour)
“And I'm pretty positive my pain isn't cool enough, pain isn't cool enough”: Pete feeling like his pain isn't seen as cool enough anymore because he’s written about it so many times (can be a callback to Get Busy aka another reference to the old music with the opening line of “this has been said so many times that i'm not sure if it matters” and also a callback to shipped gold standard with the line “before it all becomes the same old song”). In general, FOB’s music has this recurring idea of Pete rehashing negative emotions to the point of wallowing which makes sense in the genre of emo. It could very well be a critique of the entire genre itself that becomes even more potent when he’s much older. Also can speak on the idea of how in the industry, you have to seem shiny and new so people don’t get bored while also not changing because people hate when artists change (once again tying into the paradox from earlier)
“Like a sledgehammer to a disco ball// Crushing all my low, low, low, low, ache it 'til you make it// Ache it 'til you make it”: Reinventing himself with SMFS. ‘Low low low’ refers to the poor reception of MANIA or the idea of him being a disco ball and the music industry/audience being the sledgehammer that crushed him and broke him. “Ache it till you make it” (a play on the popular phrase) speaks on Pete's experience of how he's used a lot of his misery in song writing and that's how he made it in the industry
“I think I've been going through it// And I've been putting your name to it”: Pete going through it as a result of the poor album reception and blaming the music industry and those who didn’t receive the album well. Pete feels betrayed which once again reflects in the hurt tone of the song
“In another life you were my babe// In another life you were the sunshine of my lifetime”: Pete reflecting on what MANIA could’ve been if it had been received better/released at another time (can directly link to MANIA because one of the tracks of MANIA is Sunshine Riptide)
“What would trade the pain for? I'm not sure”: Pete contemplating the price of fame and being unsure if fame is worth sacrificing his authenticity as an artist as well as having to use his vulnerabilities and painful emotions in order to succeed. Would he trade the pain of his emotions to maintain relevance? He’s not sure. Bit of a lose-lose situation
“I used to be a real go-getter// I used to think it'd all get better”: how Pete thought being dependent on external validation as well as doubtful of his capabilities as a lyricist would subside over time but realizing that no matter what, that doubt doesn’t go away. Imposter syndrome made worse by the poor reception of MANIA sent him into a spiral which is reflected in this song. Alludes to how Pete thought he could change throughout his career but he is now pigeonholed and can't express how he wants to. Because he wasn't always famous, he used to be more optimistic before fame became an aggressive cycle and he became more jaded, especially once he experienced the rejection of MANIA.
At the end of the song, there is a crowd saying “So much for stardust// We thought we had it all, thought we had it all” lyrics along with Patrick. This signifies that as a result of SMFS (the album), Pete is predicting that since they returned to something more reminiscent of their older sound, they will have won people back over (which is true… a lot of comments towards SMFS are gleeful about how happy they are that ‘old FOB is back’). The crowd goes until the sound fades, which shows that Pete is able to fall asleep again. The silence and the track ending represents him finally asleep. The thoughts are silenced. The external validation is back. But was it worth it? Was it worth the pain? Overall, this song is reflective and existential about Pete’s experience in Fall Out Boy and his creative process and the toll it's taken. Listening to this song on repeat reflects the loop line of the song and reflects the repetitive issue at the core of Fall Out Boy’s career. Over the course of their career, the issue of Fall Out Boy and their sound has been a prominent one. They’ve had to fight for their right to grow and change as a band. SMFS (the track) shows the aggressive cycle of fame/creation and how oftentimes creatives are chewed up and spit out by the same industry they give their life and livelihood to. They’re frequently caught in dilemmas of wanting to be popular while also wanting to stay true to themselves. Sometimes those two goals align, but other times they don’t and one must choose. This song is Pete’s answer to the question.

Zaylor Midnights, Part I
Okay time to actually start typing things out for my beloved Zaylor/Toë Nation
First things first, please complete your essential reading on the subject.
Second, some disclaimers:
-This is just for fun. Some of it is playfully reaching for sure. You don't have to buy into it, but please keep an open mind and come along for the ride! We'd love to have you!
-I refuse to assign a specific sexuality to any of these people due to the fact that I don't know any of them personally. All I know is I just get ✨️more than friends✨️ vibes from these two. You don't have to agree with me, but please don't waste my time by being rude about it.
-My personal fan relationship to celebrities includes freely criticizing them for things they do that I don't agree with. It's fine if that's not your style, but please don't be surprised when I call someone a spineless capitalist or nepotism baby. If the shoe fits...
-Somewhat related to the above point: I'm also an Astrology Gay. That means that I may occasionally mention astrological compatibility and things of that nature. Again, if that's not your cup of tea, that's fine! You don't have to believe in it. But my personal philosophy is to weigh all of the evidence available, and I happen to know a lot about astrology, which means some of my "evidence" may come from there. So I will likely be talking about their signs a bit. If not in this post, then in future ones.
-The main goal of this post (and other Zaylor posting I may do in the future) is to diversify the perspectives in the Gaylor community. I have nothing against Karlie Kloss or Dianna Agron, but I am bored of nearly every Gaylor analysis being linked back to one of those two. I think it's time for a Zaylor Era.
That being said, let's get into it song by song, shall we?
1. Lavender Haze
Not that this is definitely true, but there has been some speculation among Gaylors for some time that Zoë is the muse for many of the love songs on Reputation and onwards. There's not much hard evidence of this, but it's worth noting that Zoë and Taylor were first seen in public together in October of 2016 (6 years + 1 week before Midnights would be released)
Tumblr media
Taylor says this song specifically is about ignoring all the "weird" (pregnancy/engagement) rumors and just focusing on her partner of 6 years. This "partner" could be Joe. I'm not saying it's definitely not. But what if it's been Zoë this whole time?
"Staring at the ceiling with you" Zoë Kravitz, known stoner, and her boyfriend/girlfriend, baby stoner Taylor Swift:
Lavender Haze is a popular Indica strain of weed known to be very relaxing/calming but also boost creativity in regular marijuana users. Zoë is one of the officially listed writers (and backup singers) on this song. The thought of them writing a song together about being in love and also high on their favorite weed strain makes me giggle.
Tumblr media
"I've been under scrutiny... You handle it beautifully... all this shit is new to me" >>> Zoë is a nepotism baby, very much used to fame and growing up in the music industry specifically, very much Above It All (we'll come back to this later)
Taylor was just quoted in this article talking about Zoë's strong "sense of self" and "honest inner compass" idk about you, but that certainly lends itself to theories that this above-it-all muse who doesn't seem to care at all what people think could be someone who was right under our noses this whole time.
Also note: this is for GQ's "Men of the Year" series. That + this fruity ass outfit should be noted...
Tumblr media
"No deal... the 1950s shit they want from me/ I just wanna stay in that lavender haze"
Could easily be interpreted in a queer context, since the 1950s are famous for anti-gay propaganda such as the Lavender Scare, the prevalence of the Hays Code, etc.
Essentially, this could recontextualize this song as an act of rebellion against social norms of gender and sexuality through private, personal expressions of queer love. Given that the song doesn't explicitly say any of those things out loud, it's kind of a toothless act of rebellion, but I digress. Both of these women are exorbitantly rich, extremely famous, bad at taking criticism/admitting fault, and prone to escapism. Classic Sagittarius behavior tbh (/j)
Tumblr media
Oh, I'm sure.
Another note from the end of that GQ article: Zoë says this about her new relationship with Channing Tatum (rumored to be PR as they are costars in an upcoming movie):
Tumblr media
Interesting wording here.
This song is about being a Sag 4 Sag lesbian stoner couple. Moving on.
2. Maroon
This song is likely about Lily or Karlie, could have some ties to Dianna, but probably not about Zoë so all I will say is:
She for sure burns incense/owns a vinyl shelf. Look at her.
3. Anti-Hero
Not a romantic song per se, but lends to the Lover coming out theory:
"Did you hear my covert narcissism I disguise as altruism" w the visual of covering up a lavender glitter bleeding heart with a political pin... cmon
Also, Catwoman (recently played by Zoë) is an extremely famous example of an antihero. Taylor uses a lot of Batman/Catwoman callouts in this album, in the song titles specifically.
4. Snow on the Beach
"I saw flecks of what could've been but it might just have been you passing by unbeknownst to me"
Again, Toë hung out in public for the first time at the Bowery in 2016 in a big group of friends. This song describes the feeling of having a crush on someone you thought couldn't possibly be reciprocated but it turns out huh!! They like you too!! Beyond how gay that situation is already, Verified Cool Girl Zoë Kravitz absolutely could have come across particularly aloof in their first few meetings. Her name (and reputation/public image) is all about being a Cool Girl. This song could be about Taylor being shocked that someone as cool as Zoë could actually like her back.
"My flight was awful, thanks for asking, I'm unglued thanks to you" parallels with the Gold Rush line "Falling feels like flying till the bone crush". It's happened. Taylor fell for her, and feels like a mess because of the feelings this has brought up.
A note from the gospel power point:
Tumblr media
"I searched aurora borealis green, I've never seen someone lit from within, blurring out my periphery" as in. She searched for the green light. The go-ahead. In the eyes of her crush, she's desperately searching for validation that what she feels is reciprocated. She seems to find what shes looking for, and describes her love interest as glowing from within. My girl loves a Great Gatsby reference. (As an aside: this is one of my favorite lines on the whole album. It's so vivid. Gives me chills every time.)
The six-year muse is often referred to with star/shooting star motifs ("Starry eyes sparkin' up my darkest night," "Eyes full of stars," "Stars in your eyes shined brighter in Tupelo," "Do I really have to chart the constellations in his eyes," etc.) Zoë has at least 6 star tattoos in various placements on her body (not to mention at least 3 different snakes, one of which is coiled around a heart)
"Stars by the pocketful" could be a reference to the star tattoos on Zoë's hands being in Taylor's pockets as they cuddle for warmth in the snow. (I'm aware the snow in this song is likely metaphorical, but how cute is that mental image?)
5. You're On Your Own, Kid
Again, not a romantic song. Also not (particularly) gay, so we'll skip this one for now.
6. Midnight Rain
A song that could very well be about comphet and mourning for the easy life that you could have as a heterosexual. But lots of people have talked about this already and it is not particularly relevant to Toë/Zaylor, so I won't waste too much time on it.
7. Question...?
Gay. Probably not about Zoë though. This song seems very retrospective, like she lost the person she's describing. These two seem like they're still very close, so it's unlikely this song has anything to do with Zoë.
-----
That's all Tumblr mobile will let me fit into one post, so we're gonna have to take an intermission there!

Hello! I'm fairly new to the Asian BL world, and I would just like to thank you for the amazing content you have on this blog, it has really guided me to watch some great shows. However, I have been very much into queer media before this, mainly in the form of books though, so I'm not really new to that aspect of the genre. I can understand the hype around western shows like heartstopper- its queer friendly and in English so a lot of people are really impressed by it. Do you think the reason western queer shows are more widely received is just because they are in English or do you think it's because these shows are more "queer" rather than more "BL"? Idk if this makes sense but there's this show called Young Royals which I personally really enjoyed but it's in Swedish, not English. Do you think a reason why western queer media is more hyped about than asian BL is because it has better queer representation? Is there anything unique to asian BL that you think sets it apart from queer media and it makes it more interesting to watch?
Hi! Welcome to the madness.
Do I think Western gay YA romcoms do "better" because they're more queer friend or because they're in English?
Tumblr media
Never discount the basic human laziness factor which, in English speakers in particular, comes out in a remarkable resistances to reading captions.
Because, that’s just SO MUCH work. Our poor baby eyeballs are so weak.
Tumblr media
How do I explain the success of, Young Royals?
It’s on Netflix.
I mean, were are all happily hanging out here mucking about with Viki and GaGa (and...). But how many westerners do you know IRL who actually fuck with these streaming services? Only my friends who are into Kdramas know about Viki, and no one I know knows about GaGa. And I work in, ya know, the goddamn entertainment industry.
So yeah, distribution makes a HUGE difference.
Tumblr media
Do you think a reason why western queer media is more hyped about than asian BL is because it has better queer representation?
Only if you hang out in queer circles, and/or listen to the wokes of pop culture tooting their own wank horns on NPR or whateves. (said affectionately, of course i listen, it’s my business to do so, but oof those academics can get pedantic - says the most pedantic person on tumblr)
[Don’t winch at me YR fans, yes yes it’s very good, just not my thing, okay?]
Tumblr media
Mainstream hype?
Not really.
The entertainment consuming masses don’t care about rep of any kind. They just want to be entertained to their regrettable lack of standards.
So, entertained by preferably low-level reality TV bullpucky, true crime, and an apparently endless appetite for pseudo-military, savior complex, sanitized-medical-hero propaganda. (oooo my hatred of CSI and Law&Order is showing)
Ah, yes, I didn’t sleep last night. I’m salty af. Forgive me? But at least I’m honest. Right?
Tumblr media
Is there anything unique to asian BL that you think sets it apart from queer media and it makes it more interesting to watch?
Yes. And mostly that’s what I natter on about in this blog.
The wide range of settings, plots and choices in terms of things like paranormal elements, magical realism, family dynamics, households, daily life, foods, etc...
Ranging length of treatments that fall outside of the Hollywood (or BBC) standards for movies, mini-series, or series.
Varied languages and cultures (of course). And the fun side analysis that comes with trying to understand both aspects, including translation quandaries.
The predominantly happy endings and fluff (avoidance of gritty and realistic folderol) especially in the last 5 years
The uses of traditionally yaoi archetypes and tropes
The use of non-western narrative structures, mythologies, religions, and foundational elements of story
Basically I’m just naming all the things I like about Asian BL. At root this makes the whole genre, for me, that much more escapist. And that’s what I want in my entertainment, soemthing that transports me and comforts me at the same time.

About Me
Hi! I'm leaves-lilies-and-esther, this is just a random post I made to summarize the blog.
I mostly post about feminism here, though occasionally I may veer into other topics that I'm interested in. I enjoy cooking, old music, reading, and creative writing. My favorite animals are easily cats, though I can't adopt one at the moment. INFP.
In the future I want to study some combination of literature, history/social sciences, or international relations. Ideally I would love to be a published author, anthropologist, social worker, etc. Currently learning the Spanish language!
Politically left-leaning by USAmerican standards. If you disagree with me you're welcome here- I like to (respectfully) debate! I wouldn’t be considered a true radical feminist because I am not "gender critical", but I agree with their analysis on other topics.
Reblogging is not an endorsement of their entire blog
My feminist beliefs are:
The beauty industry is destructive and predatory to women and girls. An ideal situation is one in which women feel comfortable going out in public without an altered version of their faces, cosmetic surgeries, unhealthy weight-loss regimens, and perfectly hairless legs. Body neutrality is healthy and should be promoted.
The sex industry is likewise degrading. Porn tends to be very violent and misogynistic, and is associated with increased domestic violence etc. To paraphrase Catherine MacKinnon: sex work is usually neither sex nor work, but coercion.
Pro-choice is best for women's health. It is not ethical to force anyone to undergo pregnancy due to the physical and mental toll that it requires. Anti-abortion laws typically have casualties- ie, Savita Halappanavar and Olga Reyes. Most late term abortions are fetuses that were wanted (until new circumstances) or cases where women could not have access in time. Therefore, improving access is critical. Reproductive autonomy extends to procedures like getting tubes tied etc.
The government should have policies which help mothers, and women with reproductive autonomy overall. While abortion should be legal, the widespread necessity of it is symptomatic of other structural problems. Ie, we need paid parental leave, larger tax breaks to low-income families with children, crisis pregnancy centers, educational opportunities designed for teen parents, to fix our foster care and adoption systems, comprehensive sex ed, etc. Being pro-choice means that women should have the true choice to keep their baby if they wish.
We should be trans inclusive. Regardless of your beliefs about gender, trans people would probably exist either way (even if you successfully abolish gender, people will still experience dysphoria with their bodies). Transition can be the best informed decision. Statistically, trans inclusion in bathrooms etc make no difference in sexual assault rates. Denying these rights exposes trans people to assault and polices the appearance of cis women- enforcing gender even more strictly.
Traditional gender roles put women at the disadvantage. While there is inherent value in traditional "women's work", gender roles play out to put women in a position of insecurity and dependence (ie, if you want money, then you are the mercy of your husband to give it to you. And if he loses his job or dies, then you're broke). This is only one example.

Daycare apps are insecure surveillance dumpster-fires
Tumblr media
When my EFF colleague Alexis Hancock signed her baby up for daycare, she was told that she had to download a childcare management app — to monitor and specify “feedings, diaper changes, pictures, activities, and which guardian picked-up/dropped-off the child.”
https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2022/06/daycare-apps-are-dangerously-insecure
This was during the lockdown, and the app was a way to comply with social distancing and contact tracing rules, but it was also designed to help with “separation anxiety of newly enrolled children and their anxious parents.”
Alexis wasn’t the only EFFer with a newborn encountering these apps. Being a digital privacy and security expert, she and her colleagues started to pick apart these apps and seek dialogue with the companies that made them. They discovered a nightmare of bad security practices, worse privacy practice, and yawning indifference to the digital wellbeing of very small children and their parents.
First of all, there was the matter of account security. When Alexis and co started looking into these apps, they all shared a glaring defect: none of them implemented two-factor authentication, “one of the easiest ways to increase your security.”
They contacted Brightwheel, a leading childcare app vendor, who proudly announced that they were rolling out 2FA — and that this would make them the only childcare app to support it. Incredibly, this is true. As Alexis writes for Wired: this is “bullshit.”
https://www.wired.com/story/daycare-app-privacy-security/
Assessing whether an app has 2FA or whether it doesn’t is easy: you just have to poke around in the settings. But a more comprehensive look at app security requires a more sophisticated investigation. EFF undertook a static analysis and network analysis of childcare apps and turned up some disturbing results.
For example, the Android Tadpoles app exfiltrates a ton of data to Facebook’s Graph API, as well as extremely granular device info to Branch.io (neither company is mentioned in Tadpoles’ privacy policy).
Then there’s HiMama, which stores user data in Amazon’s cloud — and misleadingly labels this practice as “suited to run sensitive government applications and is used by over 300 U.S. government agencies, as well as the Navy, Treasury and NASA” (none of this activity runs on the Amazon cloud that Himama uses — it’s on the AWS Govcloud, a completely separate product).
There’s an industry-wide gap in disclosure of which data is collected and how it is used; the disclosures they do make are misleading or incomplete.
Worse, the companies have been vastly indifferent to these problems. In “‘We may share the number of diaper changes’: A Privacy and Security Analysis of Mobile Child Care Applications,” a peer-reviewed paper presented at the 2022 Privacy Enhancing Technologies Symposium, a team lays these problems out in eye-watering detail:
https://www.researchgate.net/publication/358904572_We_may_share_the_number_of_diaper_changes_A_Privacy_and_Security_Analysis_of_Mobile_Child_Care_Applications
Writing for EFF, Hancock makes a series of recommendations to the childcare app industry:
2FA for all admins and staff
Address known security vulnerabilities in mobile applications
Disclose and list any trackers and analytics and how they are used
Use hardened cloud server images. Additionally, a process in place to continuously update out-of-date technology on those servers
Lock down any public cloud buckets hosting children’s videos and photos
She also strongly recommends implementing end-to-end encryption between schools and parents: “There’s no need for the service itself to view communication being passed between schools and parents.”
The irony here is that all of this is happening in the context of apps, which were sold to us as “curated computing.” We were promised that if we ended the practice of software authors providing code to their users, and instead let Apple and Google decide what code we were allowed to run, all the evils of software would go away:
https://boingboing.net/2010/04/02/why-i-wont-buy-an-ipad-and-thi.html
In reality, apps are some of the dirtiest code we use. Muslim call-to-prayer apps harvest their users’ data and sell it to ICE and other domestic spy agencies:
https://www.latimes.com/business/technology/story/2020-11-23/muslim-pro-data-location-sales-military-contractors
Period-tracking apps share their users’ sex lives, fertility data, location and other sensitive info to all comers, and will be a bonanza for bounty-hunting forced-birth advocates seeking to turn in people who have abortions for cash rewards:
https://web.archive.org/web/20190909221027/https://www.privacyinternational.org/long-read/3196/no-bodys-business-mine-how-menstruation-apps-are-sharing-your-data
Why are apps such a consistent dumpster-fire? Well, for one thing, apps have to be built using the app stores’ specs, which are billed as imposing rigor on software authors. In reality, the overheads this imposes has driven app makers to use software development kits that sneak privacy-invading data-collection onto users.
Because apps come from “app stores” and not as standalone software, app vendors can “update” their code with new, malicious behaviors and users can’t “downgrade” to the earlier, superior versions. For example, when Audacity was taken over by dickheads who announced that the program would soon come with built-in tracking, users responded by announcing that they wouldn’t install the new versions, and the company backed down:
https://hackaday.com/2021/07/23/new-privacy-policy-gets-audacity-back-on-track/
That’s not how it works for apps. A couple years ago, a trivial app I used to specify Bluetooth priority (so my phone wouldn’t connect to my kid’s speaker when I walked past her room) was updated to include intrusive adware that popped up ads every time I unlocked the device. Eventually I figured out what was going on and uninstalled the software, but because this was from an app store, I can’t roll back to the superior, pre-adware version.
The revelations about bad data-handling in childcare apps are disturbingly predictable. These are the very same bad practices that Elizabeth Warren, Cory Booker and Ron Wyden have raised with mental health apps like Betterhelp and Talkspace:
https://www.theverge.com/2022/6/23/23179866/elizabeth-warren-betterhelp-talkspace-therapy-pandemic-app-philip-defranco
It’s hard to say which is more disturbing: privacy-invading, insecure mental health apps, or privacy-invading, insecure apps that track your toddler’s play, sleep, location and diaper changes.
Neither is acceptable.
All of this should be viewed against the backdrop of legislative and regulatory initiatives to force tech giants to give their customers more say over which apps they run, and how. In response, Big Tech companies insist that allowing software developers to directly transact with device owners will expose the public to bad privacy and security practices — insisting, against all evidence, that “mobile” is a synonym for “secure.”
One intriguing way out of this mess is by forcing the mobile platforms to fully support Web Apps, or at least to get out of the way developers who want to offer mobile tools to users to make Web Apps fully functional:
https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2022/06/facebook-says-apple-too-powerful-theyre-right
A Web App is just what it sounds like: an app that is delivered into your browser, and runs inside of it. The Web App experience could be (but isn’t) pretty much identical to installing app store apps: choose your app, click install, grant or refuse permissions, get an icon on your home screen:
https://open-web-advocacy.org/
But because Web Apps run in browsers, they can be modified by browser plugins — like ad- and tracker-blockers. And because Web Apps are defined by open standards — not by corporate fiat handed down by monopolists whose own products compete with app developers — anyone can make a Web App development toolkit:
https://www.w3.org/standards/webdesign/
Regular software can spy on users and steal their data, too, of course. But turning “programs” into “apps” didn’t solve this problem — it just limited users’ ability to defend themselves, making them reliant on two companies to decide what protections they deserve.
[Image ID: A line of kindergartners horsing around in a toddler-sized institutional bathroom, looking into the mirror. Out of the mirror is the glaring eye of HAL 9000 from 2001: A Space Odyssey. The kids' reflection is color-inverted, and their reflected, inverted faces are traced with facial recognition geometry lines.]

“Belle Roe,” 21 (USA 2009)
“Belle’s” real name is unknown because her case is reported from a medical journal. She has been given the last name Roe after the court decision that led to the deaths of so many pregnant people and babies across America.
Belle was a 21-year-old American with no health problems whatsoever. She should have been able to live a long life, but instead she was sold the abortion pill from a legal facility in 2009 and died 12 days later.
Belle took the lethal pills when she was 7 weeks pregnant. 6 days after beginning the abortion, she suffered from severe abdominal cramping, vomiting and diarrhea. On Day 7 she was brought to the hospital with dangerously low blood pressure, tachycardia, pleural effusions, ascites and massive infection. Oddly enough, she did not have a fever despite the fact that she was dying from infection. This is a phenomenon that has been documented in multiple cases as a result of the RU-486 abortion pill.
Despite emergency surgery and hospitalization, Belle died of severe sepsis, kidney failure and DIC (disseminated intravascular coagulopathy). The organs in her reproductive system were necrotizing. Analysis confirmed the presence of Clostridium sordellii infection. C. sordellii has been known to grow out of control and cause raging infections after use of the abortion pill.
Despite what the abortion industry tells the public, the abortion pill is not safe. Deaths like these are not nearly as rare as abortion corporations claim. Multiple abortion supporters have also pressured abortion pill clients to lie to ER staff and claim they are suffering a miscarriage. Despite what these abortion supporters claim, the symptoms and necessary care are NOT identical for an abortion and a miscarriage. As the study noted, doctors “should be aware of common clinical features, including abdominal pain, hypotension, tachycardia, third-space fluid accumulations, hemoconcentration, and marked leukemoid response, typically without fever. In patients with this presentation, a high index of suspicion for this syndrome and early aggressive treatment are needed.” Further study has shown that misdiagnosis of abortion side effects as miscarriage is a serious risk for medical problems requiring hospitalization. Those whose abortions were miscoded as miscarriages in the ER were more likely to be hospitalized for any reason than women whose abortions were accurately reported. ER patients whose chemical abortions were miscoded further exhibited a pattern of multiple hospitalizations in the 30 days following their abortions – the number of hospital admissions per patient was 78% higher in the miscoded group.
Pregnant people deserve better than the abortion pill, which is unsafe even when it’s legal.

It's been so funny and interesting to me getting into Taylor Swift after already having long been into Stray Kids and kpop in general, so here are some funny parallels I've noticed between the two and/or their fandoms:
Ryan Reynolds
The Vault/Chan's Laptop
Really dumb fun fandom energy. Like please, I did not expect the ship name Toe, but that is the only one I am using now. Please I am begging Stays to have this energy when skz start dating publicly
Videos appreciating them existing in cute
Taylor's cats 🤝 Minho's cats
Frothing at the mouth over good/cathartic lyrics and the analysis of such
Ed Sheeran appreciation
Being serious derps irl/online with fans
Loving how their hearts and minds work and how they convey the contents of the same
Reluctant song ranking tiktoks
Knowing exactly which era a photo was from solely based on hair and/or clothes
Knowing details about them that would sound really creepy to someone outside the fandom it's not creepy if they say it in an interview or behind the scenes I swear
TOO MANY SIGNIFICANT NUMBERS and on that note, lowkey wanna leave the list here solely for the sake of things
Learning vocabulary because of them. Seriously. Why did it take me until the last month to figure out that Miroh meant maze and that Clé means key when I've been stanning them since 2021. I'm so mad.
Songs instead of therapy but please go to therapy if you legit need it. "this is me trying" was not about using lyrics as a replacement for professional help. That's a Placebo.
"yes they can actually sing live and here's the proof"
Very involved in their songs from start to finish and it shows and we love them for it
OH SHOOT—I just realized Taylor's Versions vs SKZ 2020/2021—
ME! lol. I do mean the song but also technically me myself as well now heh
Writing love/breakup songs except it's completely made up
Extremely prolific
"so I made this song at stupid o'clock in the morning and here it is lol" and it's the freaking sparkly cd meme
We CARE care about album drops and about them making the money off of it that they deserve as artists
Wanting merch but wiping the lint off the bottom of our wallets to try to find the money
"Please let one measly concert seat be available even if it sucks"
"wait a second, they/their fandoms AREN'T hysterical like the media paints them to be?" *insert mental hurricane that eventually dies down here* "wait, am I actually considering joining them??" *narrator voice: but by then, it was already too late*
Seeing the same memes/edits but in different fandoms but it's not memes I've seen in non-music fandoms. Like literally. Just watched one.
Acronyms that look like keyboard smashes to everyone else please though Swifties you're way worse please have mercy on this baby I'm still learning—
Recycling quotes from haters into song lyrics, like please yes queen/king, continue, go off
Giant creepy creatures as tour set pieces
Taylor and Chan being parents even though they have never actually had children
And on that note, knowing everybody in their industries
Rolling out our list of reasons like a scroll every time we say we stan them and the other person so much as inhales to start a response. We could probably recite that list in our sleep at this point.
Stay Stay Stay HAHAHAHAHAHA
I seriously need to shut up or I will get nothing done today but yeah if you stan one, please give the other a chance because you're doing yourself a disservice if you don't.

Hello! Same anon here.
“It’s hard when everywhere I look in the media rich and famous (out of touch) black women are encouraging younger women without their privileges and advantages to rely on external validation (often from men) which can be extremely dangerous given our rates of victimization.”
EXACTLY! Talking about myself, I used to be very engaged in femininity rituals when I was young but due to my allergies, I couldn't keep using makeup so I just gave up. Thinking about it nowadays I am kinda grateful for that because I think if I had to give up on makeup later on, it would be very difficult for me, since I had race disphoria and I suffered my whole life with misogynoir. However, the fact that I am not engaged with femininity is often viewed by my family as a signal of me not taking care about myself properly. And it has even more weight for black women, since our skins are already seen negatively, so it is expected to us to compensate this “flaw” in other ways.
Another thing that doesn't receive much focus is how high the black female beauty standards are. And isn't it sad how when afro hair started to be more acceptable, it created a new competition around which black women have the most beautiful hair? Which black women are the hottest? The most beautiful? It makes me think about most black women not being able to keep this cruel standard(after all, femininity has a big cost and black women is payed even less than both black men and white women). The conversation around black female beauty standards often exclude fat and butch black women because as you highlighted rightfully, it's all about to serve black men.
Taking all of this into consideration, it angers me the way so many self-proclaimed black feminists are so liberal towards sex. These women point out how race deepening our oppression but instead of connecting the dots, they make it seems like the beauty industry has nothing to do with us, at all.
Have you read “Beauty and Misogyny” from Sheila Jeffreys? This book is amazing and show how much powerful beauty is as a tool to subjugate women. I wish we could see a black radical feminist analysis of beauty industry focused on black women...
"The fact that I am not engaged with femininity is often viewed by my family as a signal of me not taking care about myself properly" Feel this so fucking hard lol I know my bougie femininity loving relatives have seen me as raggedy ever since I stopped putting heat in my hair and wearing women's fashion and makeup like them. I don't care anymore but their judgment (and the greater judgement of the larger black community that it reflected) got to me for a long time.
"These women point out how race deepening our oppression but instead of connecting the dots, they make it seems like the beauty industry has nothing to do with us, at all." In my opinion this denial is just a coping mechanism. When you realize how insidious it is that we're both the unacknowledged inspiration of the industry (nonblack women stealing our trends/hairstyles/facial features without credit) as well as the so called "ugliest part of it" that has to be improved on with purchased products, yeah the easier thing to do is to just try to find a semi comfortable place of acceptance in the system rather than recognize it for how evil and pointless it is and feel that exclusion fully.
I have read "Beauty and Misogyny" but not in a few years. It's definitely solid and on my soon to re read list. One of my sorority sisters did her thesis on it and that's how I got introduced to it as a baby radfem in 2013. It's so important to see other women demystifying and taking down beauty institutions. They're really doing so much damage to our solidarity

These are the most trustworthy videos and youtubers for kpop idols plastic surgery in case someone wants to have a deep analysis, I have noticed everytime someone talks about minors debuting or how they dont like stanning minors, a bunch of teens come saying "you are just jelaous they are being idols at that age", these teens who idolize their fav idol who is around same age as them, always try to live their "teen idol/celebrity fantasy" through their fav, and will turn a blind eye to any dark side of the industry that they had to go through such as EDs, diets or plastic surgery, just because accepting it destroys this whole parasocial relationship of relatability and living through your fav as if they were an extension of you (or maybe they are just still too innocent to realize kpop is not full of positivity as it portraits) I say this because I have noticed the same pattern with New Jeans (dont accept MHJ controversy), Baby monster (font accept the criticism about Chiquita's debut) and Wonyoung (dont accpet her PS and possible ED), like their fans cant take facts, and pretend their favs' lives are full of positivity.
For the ask happilyfancyunknown has sent, i completely understand how they feel and why they don't notice the changes (we tend to get used to how other people look, especially when we interact constantly with the content of that person), and even if we don't have the same opinions they really expose their point in a really respectful way, so im really thankful for that
But you are right with some fans out there, they go around spitting the "you are jealous" as if it was candy, and i understand that we want to think these idols are safe and successful because you only see what they want you to know and you care for them, but they need to listen to the people that are exposing the dark side of the industry.
Someone has mentioned that fans (the young and delulu) don't want real relatability because real relatability is harsh and they want to escape that, and I find that so true. And the problem i find with the negation they carry is that is hurtful not only for these young kids that are debuting but to the fans that feel affected by the imposed beauty standard and other issues that have an impact on them
Kids want their dreams to come true, they are only victims in this system, i only blame the "responsible" adults that take advantage of them. When i was the age of these idols i barely knew who i was and what i wanted, so i hope they at least, they have a good support system and manage in the future to know how to be in the real world
