I can do this. It doesn't matter about bitchiness at work,I've been through worse, and people will always slag others off, I've been there myself so I shouldn't expect anyone else to be a paragon of virtue. As chimamanda ngozie adichi said, its not my job to be likeable its my job to be myself, someone will like me anyway. or maybe they won't, but that's not the end of the world. Soon we'll all be dead,and then I won't have to worry about this shit anymore. So I might as well enjoy where I'm at while I'm here, the bus ride,the uncertainty, the boringness of it all. It could be a lot more boring,after all. When I worked in the Post Office I wasn't concerned about customers disliking me , I should apply that same nonchalance to my colleagues' opinions of me. The post office doesn't bother me anymore, one day my current job won't bother me anymore hopefully. I'm going to go and get a coffee while I wait for my second bus I think. None of this really matters, as long as my friends and family are safe an healthy. Every moment I just have to make the best choice. I can't really control anything else. I have been through so much and my capacity for endurance only increases. Model yourself after alice walkers characters; stoic, accepting and without self hatred. What my exes say about me doesn't bother me anymore so why should what my colleagues say not be the same? None of it matters.
