most of my post-canon DSMP thoughts revolve around c!skephalo because they’re my world. BUT NOT ALL . to me it’s basically like my egg wins AU but altered a bit. the egg didn’t actually “hatch”, it actually just BLOSSOMED into a big flower cuz guess what it’s been a plant the whole time it was never an egg . and all the characters who were killed in the egg finale (CPK, hannah, eryn, ponk, sam, ant, bad, and also puffy too, she counts) become the new eggpire … they’re all so fucked up in the head and stuff. the egg’s completely taking over and shit and people are getting corrupted to the point where they can’t fight back against it . and c!skeppy is like the badass video game protagonist running around slicing off bloodvines while carrying his lil baby son on his back . cuz I think he deserves to be badass . I have a lot of this thought out in my brain space okay and it would have the happiest most joyful uplifting ending in the world I promise that’s the neon promise

listen, its pure vibes, i dont really have an explanation for it. i liked him just generally for a while, but i watched a video where he talked about american gun control and it just came off super uck to me. like, a lot of british lefties have this weird thing where they will assume americans are all stupid just for kicks when we've actually been indoctrinated to think the way we do. i guess i just dont like seeing brits have political takes that are just pure "america needs to get its shit together" cause yeah bro we know, focus on whatever the fuck is up with ur government please. I feel like if i talked politics with wilbur soot he would be condescending as shit and basically explain to me what socialism is or whatever when its like, dude,, please. british lefties think they know more than the average young american, which is most of the time not true, or not something to insult someone over. (this is also because he reminds me of a shitty ex friend who was in the states for AMERICAN STUDIES but would just talk on and on and on about how dumb americans were -___-)

and its more than that, i never get idolization of people, like, online people. the closest ive come to it was technoblade maybe? gtws is pretty awesome too, bbh is low level idolization maybe. so it weirds me out when people are just in awe over him, makes my instincts go wild. im really not accusing him of anything, i know this is just the silly brain reacting silly. it just weirds me out. his fans do not know him, nobody's fans know the person, and yet they act like they do, and like he's gods gift to leftism and queerness when he is,, a cishet maybe-aro upperclass man from britain. nothing against him really.

oh, and his fans tick me off because theyre ALWAYS inserting him into things and just. listen, i dont like having to scroll through tons of wilbur fics in the qsmp tag when im just trying to get to some badboyhalo or etoiles centric fics. the man has been on the qsmp for like less than a week of playtime and he's the fourth most tagged character on the qsmp ao3 tag.

not to mention he gets dragged into other plots like "what if this actually happened to wilbur!" or "yeah but what if wilbur was there!" or my most hated "cant wait till this character meets wilbur because i cannot enjoy this media (which is about finding and enjoying a bunch of ccs) if it doesnt have my guy in it!" like i get it, you have a hyperfix or a special interest, ive been there, but maybe then go watch stuff he's actually in, instead of forcing him into a plot he really isnt that big a part of anymore.

people also praised his dsmp writing when it was,, average at best. honestly i think bbh's and the eggpire's writing did way more for the dsmp because they actually tried to include other people in the plot as much as possible, instead of just writing for you and a few of your friends. imo, c!wilbur was an ok character, like, nothing bad, but nothing extraordinary for me. utah is death, ok buddy got it, wow, insane. yeah yeah we've all been to the soul sucking pit of utah, haha i get it. << this is just pure salt ignore that lmao

oh and lovejoy didnt fuckin invent political indie rock, people need to get over themselves on that one.

so yeah, its just a thing of, i cant really bring myself to like him. the brain goes wonky when he's around. kinda wish i didnt like, get angry when he's on screen but idk i cant really stop myself. nothing againstt you if you like him, ill usually tag anyy wilbur neg with #wilbur crit so if you wanna mute that tag. i dont post it too often tho.

The Syndicate felt hopeless as they saw the Crimson Vines that took over Dream’s cell. Tommy was silent for the moment, their only other hope of defeating the Egg was now gone.

“Maybe we still have time, this is Dream we're talking about. He wouldn’t go down without a fight and he sure as hell would not just bow down to an overgrown egg…” Phil spoke as he put a hand on Tommy’s shoulder to guide him with the others as they all followed Sam back through the hallways and back to the entrance of the Prison.

All of them avoided the red vines they noticed were now growing throughout the prison as if now that they found the reason for the building gone, they are free to show them the reason for the prisoner’s disappearance.

Dream grunted as another vine tightened painfully around his torso, his legs completely numb from kneeling for so long. The voices still whispering and occasionally screeching in his head, tempting offers and his desires that slowly ate away at his resistance.

He never noticed as Bad stepped up behind him until he was grabbed by his hair and forced to put his head against the Egg, his mask clacking loudly as it connected with the hard surface and the edges dug into his skin at the edges.

Dream tensed as the voices increased in both volume and intensity, his body started to go cold. Gritting his teeth as the corrupting magic of the red abomination started to once more seep into his code.

He didn’t know how much longer his shielding would hold before the influence of the Egg broke through and took him over. He just prayed that someone…anyone would notice his disappearance and come looking for him. Although he knew chances of that happening were next to none.

Moments later he felt something inside him crack and a scream ripped itself free and the sound echoed throughout the Chambers of the Eggpire and could faintly be heard by the guards outside the Spider Spawn.

The Eggpireans smiled as the Egg thrummed through them all, letting them feel its contentment as it continued its assault on the Nightmare of the SMP.

Techno waited impatiently on the other side of the Nether portal for his companions to return. He silently cursed the citizens of the Greater Dream SMP for labeling him as a wanted criminal, sinc that was the main reason he could not join the Syndicate or Tommy when they went to retrieve Dream from the Vault and head to stop the Egg.

He wouldn’t admit it out loud to anyone except maybe Phil, but he misses hanging out with the homeless teletubby and sparring with him was fun since they both didn’t really know what to expect when they traded blows, but he was the only one he could actually spar with that could keep up. He was his rival for Blood God’s sake.

Sapnap felt something inside him twinge, causing his movement to stutter as his sword missed a cow he was about to slaughter. He looked off toward the direction of the Badlands, something inside him was missing and he didn’t like the feel of it.

In a cottage far from the Greater SMP, a certain Goggled man let out a gasp, his consciousness nearly coming up to the surface before a white gloved hand touched his forehead and he was once more pulled back into the land of dreams.

The figure that hovered over the sleeping man straightened himself, his body flickering and red vines appearing on him before they too disappeared with the next flicker. The X on the mask it wore slowly started to change colors.

The way Eret talks about the lore discord working behind the scenes is NOT normal or particularly helpful! She said back in last November that the discord has a lore channel that goes inactive most of the time because people plan lore exclusively in DMs and don't share it, that canon is decided largely by SBI, Discduo, Bench Trio, and anyone who tops 100k viewers on a stream even if smaller ccs have established lore they've done for longer that contradicts how things work. Like yes getting 40 people to do the things without issues is like wrangling cats but FUCK man a 40 person RP where people just add other people's characters into backstory without their knowledge let alone consent is NOT cool and Dream was! The server owner! And the guy with the biggest audience! And what he did was NOT management at ALL since that never rlly seemed to resolve???

like yes, the finale happened but we can still criticize dreams' ability to fuck up stuff. I hate the fact that smaller ccs will try to build up good lore but no one takes it seriously bc they don’t have a big enough audience. Other ccs will straight up ignore them, contradict them, ruin their storylines, etc for fun or bc they simply don’t care enough to ask. 

Like Ponk, Hannah, Eret, etc. Or like the egg stuff! The Eggpire arc was genuinely so cool but bigger ccs just didn’t participate in it much.   You could argue that at the start, stuff wasn’t scripted so it would’ve been hard to adapt to that for dream, especially with the number of people on the smp. But like guess what! He’s the one that added that many people, it’s his fault. If he couldn’t handle it he should’ve not added more people to the smp every time he felt like it was dying or when he got himself into another controversy to distract the stans.

As the admin, as the owner of the server, as the owner of the discord server as well, he is responsible for that stuff. He could’ve asked for help and asked if others had more experience with stuff like this. He could have discussed this with the members of the smp to see what kind of system would work the best. Hell, he could’ve fucking, dmed people like Grian or MumboJumbo and asked them how they plan lore in the smps they are in. 

But he didn’t. He brought himself into that situation, he could’ve easily asked for help, and it was an easy thing to fix. Whether it’s an ego thing, an anxiety thing, or if he just could not be bothered to put in the effort, idk. What I do know is that pushing the blame on the smaller ccs that have been ignored by others is just weird.

Dream isn’t an uwu perfect cinnamon roll and he is a grown-ass man that should own up to his own mistakes sometimes. He does not need to be babied and he deserves the criticism he gets.

I mean, not only did he nearly kill her, he destroyed her home and most of her belongings, was not at all remorseful, and continued harassing her AFTER all that. Kill that bastard. 🧚‍♀️ - is c!sam’s attitude towards c!hannah warranted? It's one thing to be upset and have trauma regarding someone you thought you could trust, it's another thing- while knowing they were incapable of doing anything else because they were mind controlled, to demean them and intimidate them. No. 🗡 - are the eggpire responsible for their actions under the egg’s control? It depends because we don't really know how much autonomy the eggpire had on like, a day to day basis. Early SMP: alien boy. he doesn’t know what he’s doing he is simply fucking around and finding out adopting a dog and gathering resources. just living life having a funky fresh time

he and tommyinnit fucking HATE each other they chased each other around and murdered each other for like over and hour fundy broke into his house and stole his shit he bargained with Tommy for his own stuff for like 10 minutes and went to court but just snuck out the back (??? idk he’s wild)

fundy built the socializing club to resolve their arguments and purpled booby trapped it and stole everyone’s shit cause he’s just like that

L’Manberg War(s): he dabbled in lmanberg shit my guy had no idea what the fuck was going on all the god damn time he was so confused bro was literally just standing there one time he say ccrimeboys (who were exiled from lmanberg and were absolutely not supposed to be there) and he (a member of lmanberg) decided to just ignore them cause he can’t be bothered to give a shit he literally allowed Technoblade to causally boat home after he massacred everyone at the festival and murdered Tubbo he has zero fucks to give

✨intermission✨: he disappeared for several months and no one knew what was up with that

the following is not in chronological order cause I forgor

but Bad hired him to kidnap/kill Puffy and he was basically like “yeah sure fuck it” and I think he did the thing?? I don’t remember anyways he was kinda working for the Eggpire for a bit and then Quackity was like hey wanna work for me instead to betray them (he attracted his attention by threatening to blow up his UFO talk about foreshadowing) and purpled once again went yeah sure fuck it and betrayed the Eggpire for the money and Quackity did his whole “wait don’t go in yet let the shark guy die” and then they saved everyone and yadda yadda yadda “you’re a hero purpled” “I try my best”

Aftermath: we all know this part purpled is like okay bitch boy pay up and Quackity makes small talk gives him his money and then destroys his entire life right in front of him good times they yell at each other for a bit and Purpled storms off in silence to go be sad

He goes back to his stupid little cottage and is even sadder for a while and then Mr Charlie Slimecicle gaslights him for 30 minutes and he decides to join las nevadas (he’s lying about wanting to be there)

he hangs around lying to people for a bit and then sets up his overdramatic lava trap and yells at Quackity some more and then kills his bf for revenge cause that’s what they do on this server I fucking guess

he kidnaps slimes dead body and holds it captive in a cave purely just to kill him again and then Punz shows up and manipulates him a bit and Dream is there also

they show up gaslight slime bulky Quackity blow shit up purpled and Quackity yell at each other some more and then slime reveals HE was gaslighting everyone the whole time and fucking kills purpled (L + ratio)

then there’s the whole “you’re not a good person” but idc about that sorry quackcicle enjoyers

and then that’s kinda it man idk the whole ass smp ended

Random ramblings: purpled is a petty bastard and I hate him that bitch is full of improperly processed trauma (thank you icarus appollosboyfriend for that quote) and he hates everyone and he only kills people for the money cause he just wants money and power (and friends he just wants to go home) but he only accepts jobs from people he trusts and he’s a stupid bitch and he’s mean and absolutely will insult your mother but your honor he’s just a silly little guy simply a funky little lad and he just lies to people constantly he’s so funny and every time I think about him I go insane
