Happy 9 3/4 Day!

And I say ‘Happy 9 3/4 day’ with all the respect to TXT, the unproblematic version of Harry Potter, and with no respect to Ms Rowling.

But leaving that aside, let’s talk about TXT!!!!

I think my concerns about HYBE have been true - as BTS leave to go to the military, HYBE seem to have been taking better care (I hesitantly say as I look at ENHYPEN) of their other groups. Although the timing may have been coincidental, this was really shown through The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION and it’s success and impact on the industry - especially compared to Minisode 2. 

As a little celebration let’s have a look at the first picture of TXT I actually saw!

Casper’s celebrations of TXT becoming relevant again!

I mean, Minisode 2 was great, but MOAs and the wider kpop community had no clue how and why it was great, and memed it to death

Psychologically accurate representations of trauma

MMA 2022 and the rebirth (pun intended) of the dead Yeonjun motif

It was an interesting year - it started off being really good, then went to being so bad that I almost lost hope, and then became good again - not quite to the same degree, but enough to make me happy.

So I have a lot of faith for the coming year and for the future of the group and The Name Chapter. If HYBE can get their act together, TXT can reach their full potential.
