As in, MC has others but still feels so possessive of Mammon that even his contract with Solomon, whose whereabouts are currently unknown, bothers her—yet, the game doesn't label that as selfish, even though I think it's cruel and most definitely selfish (because, after all, MC can't have everyone—they're not objects or possessions, they have their own thoughts and feelings, and so she doesn't have the right to want them all, as it's brutally unfair to them even if they seemingly let it slide); the game just lets it be, though, and I really appreciate the dark tinge this has to it. It's a refreshing take.

I also lived in a country where being gay and/or trans is illegal before I moved to USAmerica, and I was targeted there for my gender nonconformity even though I didn't know I was trans whilst living there. Even though I live in USAmerica now, I'm not divorced from the reality of what it's like to be queer in a country where things are worse.

Actually yes I do because I am a transsexual man. Except due to being raised as a girl, I have been taught to accept dehumanization from cis men and women alike. every time i check wookieepedia for more kel dor lore I get annoyed at the bit that says the Baran Do became irrelevant after the Jedi started coming around bc like.

a) there is no way the Jedi wouldn't want to like. team up with them instead lmfao

b) the numbers also don't add up. The Jedi have like ten thousand members in Prequel times, from species across the whole galaxy. Even if you scour the wiki, there's only like three, possibly four kel dor Jedi active at that time. Even if we accept the idea that these few are the absolute most powerful force-sensitive kel dor out there, there's no fuckin way a planet/species that can support its own extensive indigenous Force tradition just abandons that tradition, just bc a literal handful of kids in every generation goes offworld to learn from a different Force tradition.

c) the Baran Do also do a slightly different thing than the Jedi - it's basically Force-aided disaster risk/resilience/management shit. The Jedi can't make them obsolete just by existing; they're filling a different need with diplomacy and averting wars and shit. Sometimes their work crosses over, but that's not enough to put them in competition.

So, my headcanon—

The Baran Do don't have the same restriction on 'must be a child to join' as the Jedi do, so they're happy to allow children who get scouted to go off and join the Jedi, on the condition that that child gets the opportunity to come back and train with the Baran Do later on if they so wish. The Jedi are perfectly happy to allow this, both in a spirit of Interfaith Cooperation and also making sure their kids get the chance to connect with their ancestral cultures. So the relationship between Baran Do and Jedi is pretty relaxed and friendly overall.

...At this point, most of the kel dor children who are given to the Jedi were actually brought to the Jedi's attention by the Baran Do, because the Force metaphorically tapped on some Sage's shoulder and went like "hey. This one would do well with the Jedi." And that Sage phoned up the Jedi Temple like "hey could u guys send someone out, there might be a baby Jedi here for u." It's treated like a celebration for both parties, there's a festival and everything. XD

Plo happened to be the Jedi sent out to collect Sha; he didn't know the kid was his niece at that point, but then the moment he stepped off the ship he was Engulfed in a surprise family reunion. His mother, Sha's grandma, is a Baran Do Sage, and she'd requested Plo directly but then kept it to herself, so the rest of the family was equally surprised and delighted lmao.

I don't really know what I was expecting except for Hot Goth Dude with a Coffin Boyfriend, and a badass punch-em-up beauty with a nasty mouth from the PV on youtube, but that's what I got and more, and I am so very pleased about it.

I was SO EXCITED ABOUT THE CROWS YOU HAVE NO IDEA. Hottie Mage whips out a spell covered arms and MY BABIES ARE BURSTING FORTH IN A MURDER OF ADORABLE!!! I might have woken up Capybara's deaf elderly neighbors in my excitement.

What I was not expecting was a giant Zom 100 Shark to show up in the middle of the city lmfao.

It's just a dude whose turned himself into a shark with magic, who immediately gets dispelled by a witch, and that THIS IS A NORMAL OCCURANCE??? People are like, oh noooo, there's a giant shark, Ione will deal with iiiiit, no worriesssss.

The implications this gives of a mixed soft/hard magic system tho.

I'm really looking forward to learning (or maybe not learning and discovering through negative space) the rules that don't get broken (which is necessary for a magic system), but also hope that they'll be playing hard and fast with what's possible. Cause seriously, wtf is this shark. Delightful, lol.

They mind games played with "Are Witches Bad or Not?" in this episode is fun, because as a viewer going in blind, we could have had some lawful good protagonists or we could have had some chaotic anti-heros, and I would have accepted either outcome. We kind of get both and that's even better!

Trying to include a speech about the morals of getting revenge with Ione as she tries to justify her actions for removing the lock on her grandmother was interesting, but I'm still not sure if her Grandma was the one to cause the fire and people 300 years ago killed her, or if her getting blamed for the fires and then killed just so happened to lock the fire away, but either way...

Along with this I'm not surprised by the coven of would-be witch's nor the attempts by them to claim that witches aren't bad, "you're just like everyone else," when you can tell from the art that the stereotypes in this world hold weight, lol.

However, I don't know WHY I was surprised by said witches getting their hands and feet removed as part of a ritual summoning of hellfire.

How... how is there not blood E V E R Y W H E R E ??!!?? Some heavy duty arteries have been cut, yo. I guess there kind of is but there should be MORE.

Ashaf finally figures out what's going on and gives in to Guideau, letting her go wild, and HELL YES I love it when we get a beast gremlin on a rampage!

The very purposeful listing of the two ways to lift a Witch's spell at the very beginning of the show, True Love's Kiss or A Change of Heart),was such a great Chekhov's Gun that I knew there was probably going to be another (secret) way to deal with it.

(Trans women usopp has stolen my heart I think just love women in general ) Usopp Robin and Nami have a nice self care day with just the girls. (Chopper is invited too, they can't say no to him.) They stay in the shower room, they fill the bath and run the showers on hot. They play relaxing music, Nami bought lavender shower steamers, Robin lit candles. Usopp gets sanji to make hors d'oeuvres and fancy drinks he leaves them at the bathroom door. No peeking!

Chopper brought a video transponder snail to watch a movie. Usopp does their hair she's been practicing her braiding. She gave Robin a nice Dutch braid and Nami a mermaid tail. She also curled copper's little tuff of fur on his head, in return robin has been researching how to do textured hair and gave her a French braid and afro puff combo.

While they were relaxing and talking Luffy showed up asking what they were doing? Nami scolds him for coming in knowing that they're all naked and asks why is he even here? and close the door he knows how fast Brooke and Sanji are.

Luffy explained he only came into the bathroom because he needed to poop (no manners whatsoever) and Zoro was using the other bathroom to meditate. Robin and Usopp are not really affected by his antics and just enjoy Nami yelling at him. Luffy being unfazed by her tongue lashing casually sits down and eats the treats Sanji made for them. He doesn't get why it's such a big deal. Like you're just naked, plus chopper is here and he's not a girl and he's seen usopp naked before (granted this was pre-transition but I guess his point still stands)

Robin invites him to join them but lock the door. You may be the exception but the others are not. Despite Nami's protests Luffy has already stripped and jumped in slashing every one ( imagine getting so far in his journey to become the king of the pirates only to die in bathwater). She sighed in defeat and just accepted that he's here, could be worse.

They continue what they were talking about. Nami is learning how to make hail and she made a tornado by accident of course and she's still trying to recreate it.

Usopp learned how to crossbreed one of her poison pop seeds and her thorny pop seats and made a new weapon. She's also trying to make a pleasant smelling corpse plant. She tried roses, lavender and even sage. But nothing works. Nami suggests that maybe she should use tangerines to cross breed.

Robin has been researching about a vase she found, made of wood and clay. Apparently it's from an island that is isolated from the rest of the world. Everything is handmade or out of scratch, their recipes, their clothing even their soaps. All of their food is homegrown and their meat is known as the best meat in the world.

Luffy didn't need any more convincing he got out and commanded Franky to change course to go to find this island. (Sanji and Brooke tackled Luffy demanding every juicy detail of what he saw in there.) Of course everyone had to get out and get to their stations ruining their whole little spa day. Nami was specifically pissed because she's the navigator.

I've always thought Nami and Robin let Usopp join their girl nights even before coming out bc they've always felt safe around her, and when she came out it wasn't really a surprise to them tbh. Their spa day looks so cozy and relaxing (until they interrupt them)!! It sounds great. They'd do this 100%. Interested in your marquis backstory thoughts because his power implies a lot but I can’t quite put it together - there’s SOMETHING that he feels the bones breaking each time and doesn’t show it but idk what. Forced to play into a role even as it causes agony? Macabre leaning? What’s goin on there

SO the first big thing about marquis's background is that i really don't think he grew up with any wealth or comfort at all—his cape persona is a performance that he's putting on to get as far as possible from his much more humble origins, imo. heathcliff stuff. obvious tension of identity there that fits with a changer power and also makes sense with his pain tolerance, which suggests he's had a lot of experience bearing through pain without any help, and the way he talks; he often sounds like he's picking his words deliberately and even trying to give off an air of sophistication, but he never actually uses any words that are especially fancy or obscure. ward messes with this a bit by making him act like an actual cartoon vampire sometimes, but i think i'm still pretty close to the mark.

at one point he mentions that his father was a doctor, but i don't think the man he's referring to there is his biological father—his wish for the brigade not to put amelia into the foster system makes me think he himself spent some time in the system and didn't enjoy it (pretty plausible, especially considering this would've been in the 70s and 80s) before he eventually ended up with the man he thinks of as his father, which is why he's hopeful that amelia will be alright if she's with a good family from the start.

if anything i think he probably grew up more like rachel than anyone else in the cast, but while rachel dealt with being treated badly by human society by forming connections with her dogs instead, marquis never totally gave up on the idea that he could prove himself to be worthy. his dedication to being a "noble" villain, to me, seems like it comes from an almost childish sense of fairness; he has to believe that if he makes himself respectable, people will recognize it and respect him, if he holds himself to a higher standard he won't just be treated as another criminal, if he chooses his words carefully enough he won't be misinterpreted, and if he trusts his daughter to the dallons they'll rise to the occasion and take care of her. it's something he notes makes it difficult for him to understand amy once they're reunited, because she lacks that same internal drive; she's already seen that no matter what she did, she was never really treated like she belonged in the dallon family, so she can't make herself care enough to try anymore. my guess is that it's different for marquis because he had a father figure he actually looked up to, who (in marquis's memories) was a self-made man who was respected on his own terms, and if his father did it right, he can, too.

in a literal sense, his power is the ability to contort himself into any shape that could possibly be wanted from him, but he has to keep breaking himself over and over again to do it—and he does! his shard doesn't even need to throw in anything to protect him from the pain, because he's already willing to do anything just to become someone who can be accepted like he wants. trying to describe the exact moment of his trigger would take more speculation (i could sketch out a timeline but i'd really just be making up the details), but i think those are the underlying issues that are already cooking in his head when it happens.

basically it's an au in which, following della's disappearance, a few things happen. Differently from canon

putting everything under the cut because it's A Lot lmfao. enjoy

the fallout is much, much worse. scrooge and donald both really lose their temper and tear into each other, and donald essentially disowns himself entirely from the mcduck clan. think stan saying "as far as i'm concerned, [the kids]'re the only family i have left." at the end of a tale of two stans. (or not, if you haven't watched gravity falls, but YOU GET THE POINT.

scrooge burns through his money bin a lot quicker in the search for della. he's desperate not only to see her again, but also as much as he hates to admit it, he fucking misses donald- but after the mess he made, neither of them are willing to admit that, much less reach out to each other again. their egos are too big for their own good. he needs a mediator to even begin to salvage whatever's left of his relationship with his nephew.

but of course the buzzards stop him eventually. he's forced to accept that della, wherever she is, is either dead or never coming back. and that's when he snaps: he invests so much time, effort, and money into this so-called family of his and this is what becomes of it? he's had ENOUGH (this is a lie, he loves his family deeply and misses them like anything. this is just the point where he starts denying it, suppressing it even "for his own good").

speaking of the buzzards i imagine fowl probably kills off duckworth within that timespan as well to further isolate scrooge, which only fucks with him more. only instead of just isolating him and turning him depressed it kind of backfires. i mean. it definitely does both of those things but he's also incredibly Angry. he's sick and tired of losing people

and what does he do with this feeling of rage? he decides to embrace a life of villainy. he doesn't have to set an example for anyone anymore, and public opinion matters little to him anyways. it's time to put his own spin on things. and as always, he's going to do it all on his own. he's scrooge mcduck, after all, he can do whatever he wants if he works hard enough at it. so he sets to hatching his very first evil plan...and soon discovers he is. absolutely No Fucking Good at hatching evil plans! he's never done this before. he doesn't know head or tail of where to begin. it's almost embarrassing for him, which is silly, after all he isn't even sharing these ideas with anyone...

...until he is! he eventually cracks and approaches his rival, flintheart glomgold. he knows nobody else who's been villain-ing for as long as he has, nobody else who pours so much care into their evil schemes as him (magica does NOT COUNT!!!!!!!1). he reckons he could pick up a thing or two from ol' flinty before getting back to his whole... working alone thing. and of course, glomgold agrees, because who would he be to pass up an opportunity to FINALLY be better at something than scrooge is?

their relationship is rocky at best. they argue a lot! unsurprisingly! glomgold takes every opportunity to rub it in that he's in a position of power here, and scrooge is just... so eager to be done with this all and go back to scheming on his own. but soon he finds out just how much there is to learn. you have to establish a whole new public personality when you reinvent yourself as a villain, it turns out. your own special scheming style! your own obnoxious catchphrase! there's so much he doesn't know. he can't find it in him to leave just yet, because he'll always be haunted by that extra information he never bothered to learn.

that and he doesn't want to admit that they both do grow on each other after awhile. it's a weird sort of rivals to found family situation (not "found family" as in "traditional family structure", not at all, more like a "they're the closest thing they have to family at this point" lollll) if that makes sense??? which, of course, is ironic considering how scrooge swore off the idea of family earlier on... but surely it doesn't count if it's glomgold, he's only here to learn from him, after all. the fact that they proceeded to spiral into dysfunctional codependency doesn't mean anything. Surely. SURELY.

anyway yeah this au seems very serious and angsty and. on one hand YES. IT KIND OF IS. scrooge is going through the HORRORS because let's face it, every au i make has to make the sad tortured old men Even More sad and tortured. but it's also just a nice little excuse for me to put scrooge and glomgold into Situations together and be a little lame and edgy about it. take for example this scenario which i've been thinking about for at least a week but never got to draw because i've been busy with exams

Ok so imagine Saint and Osiris's first date ever. Osiris obviously asks first because he's overconfident as fuck and would totally make the first move.

Saint is flabbergasted and absolutely blushing however an Exo would blush. He accepts without hesitation.

Osiris nods and tells him good, they'll meet here tomorrow evening and go to his favorite restaurant together. The place serves the most wonderful and well made dishes in the entire Last City.

The next evening when the two meet up, Osiris reaches and grabs Saint's hand, causing the Exo to be super elated and giddy. Osiris guides him through alleyways and between buildings, through to a dingy district that's pretty run down, and up to a small, decrepit structure. Calling it a building would be... an insult to architecture everywhere. Osiris leads Saint past the bar guarding the entrance, and the place is... lights are dim and flickering rapidly, some are out, the wall paint is peeling, and there are two tables and a back counter where a VERY tired person stands. She looks up wearily.

"Ah. Osiris. Back for more cheese fries?" she asks.

"The biggest helping you can make!" Osiris replies proudly. "And Saint, what would you like? Hot dogs? Onion rings? Chicken wings? But don't go for the pizza, it tastes like cardboard."

With how this place looks, Saint is surprised the pizza isn't made with cardboard. Awkwardly, he politely orders some onion rings. He and Osiris sit down at a table together.

Minutes later, the tired worker comes out with two GINORMOUS takeout containers, one with cheese fries, and the other with onion rings. There is enough of each to last for at least a week of dinners.

Saint has no idea what to do with this many onion rings. He goes ahead and grabs just one, eating it.

However, Osiris shoves his entire right hand into his helping of fries, scoops out as much as he can, and bites into it directly, filling his mouth until both cheeks are puffed outward. With a mouthful of food, he asks, "So how are the onions?"

"........ Good......." Saint hesitantly replies.

Within the hour, Osiris has consumed his entire container, including scraping the cheese clean with his fingers and licking it off.

However... Saint has barely made a dent in his food, it seems, even though he swears he ate at least half the container.

Osiris sees this and shrugs. "Well! Leftovers for a while, right?" And with that, he helps shove the massive container of onion rings shut, and hands it to Saint. "Next time you can choose the place!! I'm excited to see if it'll match this food!!"

He's dead serious, Saint realizes. Osiris truly believes this is fantastic food in every sense.

Saint makes a personal note to find a place with cheese fries for their next date.

michael as a teenager is pretty standard teenage angst. he's rebellious, outspoken, doesn't like being told what to do, etc. ever since his siblings were born he feels like he's neglected by his mom and dad which is why he takes out his anger on his brother and causes the bite to happen. which kind of makes things even worse cause william starts straight up giving him the cold shoulder (i wont talk about william's thoughts here or else this might become a william-centric post LMFAO). post-bite michael kind of mellows out but there's a lot of respressed anger in him still, and also the trauma of killing his brother never really gets addressed. so he's pretty cynical, still rebellious but less outwardly so. putting the rest under the cut again

so in my AU, the crying child's name is evan. and not just because it's commonly accepted by fandom but also because elizabeth's name also starts with an E, so the two of them have E names but michael's starts with an M. to me it signifies that michael is the outlier out of the afton kids, the one that william favors the least (particularly notable after the bite)

evan haunts fredbear! i haven't thought too much on it so it's subject to change, but i think i like the two souls sharing fredbear theory. so he's also haunting the suit with cassidy too.

as for the five missing kids, so far i've got the strongest ideas for bonnie (jeremy!). my idea is that he's actually brothers with jeremy fitzgerald, and fitzgerald is the bonnie bully in the fnaf 4 cutscene (in my mind). you see where i'm going with this. i think william specifically targeted this kid because of that and sees it as an act of revenge. (i'll probably rename him so it isn't so confusing lmao)

still working on backgrounds for the other missing kids but chica (susie) already kind of has one in canon. her dog is dead (i hc william hit it while drunk driving lol) and william tells her that her dog is Alive, actually, to lead her to the back room. actually i think she has a family in one of the fazbear frights stories but i haven't read it so i can't comment on it

i can try to give a quick rundown of what i think their personalities were! gabriel (freddy): i actually picture him being kind of like henry. quiet and reserved but very capable of being in a leadership role and strong-willed. jeremy (bonnie): bit harder to think of this one's personality. for now i'll go with sassy(?) but also kind of a jokester. likes to make people laugh. quick-witted and smart susie (chica): bubbly and cheerful, likes to make friends with everyone. somewhat naive fritz (foxy): adventurous, carefree, excitable. enjoys rushing headfirst into potentially dangerous situations cassidy (golden freddy/fredbear): the type of kid who's not afraid to challenge authority and ask questions. gets along great with other kids and often the preferred leader. very smart, also retained more of her personality than the other kids post-possession of the animatronics.

Kazuha watched as his captain, Beidou approached the well dressed man with a smile on her face. He chuckled as he watched the woman jokingly punch the man who was also chuckling to the female's antics. [Y/n] [L/n] gave a presence of authoritive yet approachable. Kazuha thought that [L/n] was an attractive man, he even looked the same age as him.

He watched as the two approached him.

"And this is Kazuha, you might've heard about him from Ningguang" Beidou says as he crosses her arms, [Y/n] turned to look at him and gave him a small bow and offered his hand for a shake.

Which Kazuha returned, Kazuha chuckled as he can't help but notice how soft the other man's hands are compared to his scarred one, "All good things I've hoped."

The business man just softly laugh.

"Ah, I've heard about him. Truly respectable man. To be able to block the infamous Mosou No Hitotachi is quite a respectable feat and to be able to assist the resistance. It's an honor to meet you."

"It wasn't much." He softly chuckles, which prompts the other male to jokingly roll his eyes.

"Please, don't say that." [Y/n] says while chuckling, "It is indeed a remarkable feat."

Beidou just chuckled as she slowly walked away from the two men as they talked, patting herself in the back for doing a good job playing cupid.

All throughout the journey towards Inazuma, the two men spent their free time talking and getting to know each other.

Kazuha found out that [L/n] was attending a meeting at the Kamisato Estate.

"You know Mr. Kamisato Ayato?" [L/n] asked as leaned against the walls of the Crux, the ship swaying ever so gently against the waves.

Kazuha nodded, "Yes, I am great friends with the Kamisato siblings, in fact, they've helped me escape Inazuma when I became a wanted criminal." [L/n] just looked at him in awe.

Kazuha is not ashamed of his past, what happened to him during the vision hunt decree no longer mattered. He is comfortable of sharing what happened, which made the other man felt bad and offered comfort and in which he just accepted the hug. It was warm, the scent of vanilla perfume filling his sense of smell.

Kazuha just chuckled at the other man's expression.

The day the Crux finally arrived in Inazuma, Kazuha remembered how good-byes are painful.

"Well, this is my stop. Thank you for the wonderful company Kazuha." The [h/c] haired man bowed with a smile on his face.

Kazuha just gently nodded, he too had a smile on his face.

[L/n] thought that Kazuha's smile was pretty.

"Likewise."

The words that left the business man's mouth made the wandering samurai's heart skip a beat.

[L/n] grinned, "I'm going to miss you Kazuha."

"I'm going to miss you too." Kazuha smiled, the tips of his ears turning a soft shade of pink, which the other male noticed. [Y/n] giggled.

"How about we'll send each other letters? I'll send my letters for you at Lady Ningguang's or Beidou's addresses."

"That would be lovely."

"I'll see you soon."

"Goodbye Kazuha."

"Goodbye [Y/n]."

Kazuha watched as the silhouette of Inazuma slowly getting smaller and smaller as they sailed back to Liyue

Good-byes aren't usually this painful, it seems that he accidentally left his heart in Inazuma.

His ruby eyes staring longingly at the distance of where Inazuma was, the sound of waves crashing against the ship filled his ears, the smell of the ocean. He didn't expect to long for that certain vanilla scent.

Beidou saw the Inazuman boy moping, his ahoge limping as if it's depressed. She deadpanned before eventually approached the boy, she slapped the boy's shoulder making him flinch.

"Whatcha have on your mind? Love problems?" She teasingly ask which made the samurai blush.

Kazuha jokingly rolled his eyes, "It's nothing..." He says, avoiding eye contact with Beidou.

"Uh oh, somebody's inloveee" Beidou laughed and Kazuha jokingly scoff, "Yeah right. I just think [L/n] is nice and amazing. It's not like I'm going to lay awake at night thinking about him."

Beidou rolled her eyes, "Whatever you say loverboy. Come on, lunch is ready."

It's quiet, Kazuha can hear the gentle sound of waves hitting the ship, the floor boards creaking. There, Kazuha in his room with bloodshot eyes—he doesn't know how long he was awake.

Everytime he closes his eyes for just one second, his mind is immediately filled with thoughts and poems about a certain business man he just met.

"Uh oh..." He softly muttered.

I genuinely and truly believe it's a blessing I'm aroace, romance-averse and sex-repulsed.

Why? Because I have sensory issues (for my sense of touch), OCD (yes, professionally diagnosed) and multiple phobias including germaphobia (extreme fear of germs) and haphephobia (extreme fear of being touched- not just in a sexual manner. it's a fear of being touched at all).

It would be impossible for me to find a partner. It'd be hard enough being a sex-repulsed asexual and a romance-averse aromantic but not even being able to touch my hypothetical partner most of the time? See, this is why I'm not worried about my parents trying to set me up with someone to marry once I grow up. Because who the hell is gonna want to deal with that?

I actually see that as one of the few perks of my issues, not having to worry about my parents setting me up with someone when I'm older because they'll never find anyone LMFAO

And having kids? How the hell would I be able to touch them? Look, babies are very cute (annoying half the time too /lh) but touching bare skin (let alone SMOOTH bare skin) and cleaning up gross shit is literal torture for me. No exaggeration. And the way they squirm and can do anything so unexpectedly really takes a toll on my OCD fear of losing control of a situation. Like they're so cute but in person, they're kinda terrifying because of the way they just move so fast and unexpectedly and you'd have no idea of knowing what they'll do next! It just doesn't feel safe. I feel the same way about animals, hence why I also have zoophobia lol.

Anyways, I think I actually really lucked out being aromantic and asexual. I didn't always accept myself but now I do and I'm really proud of who I am, flaws and all. I can't say I'm glad or proud I have really bad OCD and SPD but I am glad and proud I'm aroace! 🧡💛🤍💙

as a Pedro writer, I’m so confused as to why you blocked me because I don’t even write age gap 💀 how are you gonna complain about “lack of creativity” when you’ve blocked half the people who are providing you with fics lmfao

How can I explain? I think that, I'm a bit confused, I'm twenty-eight years old, almost twenty-nine years old, I still read fanfics with age differences, because I still can't see myself experiencing or seeing myself as a forty-something years old falling in love with a character from Pedro. If I'm going to read fanfics with no age difference, I'm going to see the same things, like Narcos fanfics, the reader being a DEA agent in the field, could some writer think that, the person who's going to read it wants to be a DEA agent in fields? There were so many ways to work at the Embassy. Or The Last of Us fanfics, the ones I like to read the most, girls need to understand that not everyone their age, in their twenties, will want to read the same things as them, like being the daughter of Joel's best friend or Joel's son's girlfriend or brother's, or Joel's student (my friend wrote a story like that, I read it, because she's my friend) or who has a daddy fetish. Or worse, being friends with Sarah. I blocked most of them, because even, if they write fanfics that I like... Or you guys ask us to give feedback or if we ask something about a story, you guys ignore what we say, some people may not even have time to respond, but some seem to thinks they thinks they are too big for having a big blog to respond to someone who apparently has a small blog. And I don't want to see certain blogs either, have you ever thought like that? It's not, because I like Pedro that I have to love everyone in his fandom. Rethinking these last few days, I blocked the person I thought I was friends with, I just continued following people who like Pedro and make me feel comfortable. In Pedro's fandom, it's so hypocritical, you guys say you're open-minded or accept people as they are, but that's a pure lie. I think it's funny, how young women and older women treat each other, I don't know who is more immature, the twenty-somethings or the forty-somethings? Are they in high school or in Mean Girls to judge each other? And there are few people in Pedro's fandom, who will try to understand or understand what you need, they won't always think that what you're talking about is about them, but something that the person wants to understand. American women, especially white women, seem to have such a big ego, always thinking it's about them. I definitely left Pedro's fandom, I thought I would feel bad, but I don't, because as always it's a fandom full of toxic people, unlike Pedro. I'm going to keep loving Pedro and reblogging or talking about his characters and him, but I don't feel comfortable saying that I'm in the fandom, because it's almost 95% of the things you guys say, think or do that I don't agree with... I'm confused, can't I block people, who write fanfics in Pedro's fandom? You guys have an ego that I really wish I had.

For people who don't find fanfics on my blog, as I said in the tags, I wish I had the courage to write and post fanfics, but I'm not that confident, and I seem to have a block of ideas when trying to write.

But I'm going to leave anonymous ask inactive, because there will always be people, who are easily offended, and will want to say what they think, but don't have the courage to show their face or are blocked for some reason that, I THOUGHT it was right to block.

I'm tired (taking from @whiskeyncoke-redux, one of the sweetest people in Pedro's fandom) from people who post paparazzi photos, Instagram photos of Pedro's family or friends, or Pedro's fans who take photos with him, and may not know that their photos are on another social network. Who talk about his sexuality or talk about his clothes. People who talk about our ethnicity as if it wasn't racism. And especially from people who think they are bigger than they are and don't like interacting with small blogs.

I hope I've made it less confusing now.

Thoughts on ml movie below the cut (not really looking for any response, just to drop my thoughts somewhere, but y'know standard spoiler warning too)

Really mixed bag? Like genuinely and truly. There were parts of it that made me laugh! The humor was genuinely fun and I loved the use of cuts! There were parts that were really great! And the visuals are unquestionably stunning.

I'll abstain from an opinion on the musical numbers since that isn't really my cup of tea and I can't judge em

And I'm willing to let rest that this is a retelling, and it's a cool take on the story in terms of what got brought back (mime guy from the pv??? Amazing so glad that got given a proper use) and even the characterizations are fine in my book, especially given limited runtime.

But I think that this movie (and this seems like a common problem in the show too, at least to the point through s3 where I had stopped watching) (and the marketing too tbh) is that it tries to do too much with too little substance. It spreads itself too thin. What even IS the theme here? Is it the love over death thing? Is it self-acceptance? So much was stuffed in that it was all tell and almost no show.

It pays lip service to the original idea of trying to put another Real Girl Superhero into the spotlight and simply by virtue of the mechanism that the agreste family plays in the story, aka them as the driving force of the plot, it's hard to handle it and have Marinette still be clearly the main character. In retrospect, there's almost a bitter irony to Adrien cockily proclaiming that he's the main hero and Marinette is the sidekick. I think if Marinette had really had her growth focused clearly in one direction it wouldn't have been so bad, but the multiple themes really eat away at forming a cohesive picture about her and her growth and cementing for the audience that she's the star. I guess the "she-hero" bit just bugs me an exceeding amount.

As a result of the allotment of character complexity, it almost feels like Gabriel is the most compelling character, even though he's still sort of flattened into a two-dimensional version of himself. He's an asshole to Adrien at the beginning, like pretty blatantly, and then explains away everything at the end and boosh suddenly everything is ok. I didn't even pick up that he had any sort of atonement or one-on-one time with the French judicial system, outside of the implication of him going to jail by trusting Nathalie with the secret of Emilie. So like. I guess the things that make Gabriel most compelling are his longer hair when he was younger and his absolute scuzzy gutter dad look lmfao.

(side note, part of me lived in fear of being spoiled of the parts of the show I haven't watched, but I guess if there were such spoilers I missed em. It just surprised me that they were willing to play their hand on Gabriel=Hawkmoth with so little fanfare, but then again maybe I shouldn't be asking so much when it was already all spread so thin)

It didn't necessarily have me staring raptly at the screen, but most of my gripes are of the same flavor that I have for the show anyway.
