That CUPE poster is fake. I don't know why someone would try to frame a Canadian workers union like that, but that is NOT the kind of thing they post, ever. They are in support of minorities and deal with Canadian issues and working conditions, not international conflict. And they would absolutely NEVER make a horrific poster like that. See for yourself: instagram . com/cupeontario/ and instagram . com/cupe_scfp/ and they're on Twitter and stuff too. The pixelatedness of that poster speaks to how fake it is too, none of their other material looks anything like that. And while Fred Hahn has posted/retweeted some stuff about the conflict on his twitter, he has never posted anything inflammatory like that and the reply of his that is in the screenshot is replying to something completely different.

Here's the post in question, showing a poster with the photo of Shani Lock's stripped, raped and murdered body being kidnapped into Gaza. The poster has CUPE's logo, as well as a text that legitimizes the Oct 7 massacre. CUPE, as mentioned above, is a Candian workers union.
Here are the links to the two IG accounts of CUPE from the first ask. To fthe first anon, you're right that the poster in question does not currently appear on either, you're wrong that they don't touch upon international conflict, they def weighed in on this one (more on that later in my reply).
The poster does use the pink filter and the CUPE logo with the right font, but it's true that someone skilled enough with photoshop can fake that. At the same time, if that person was good enough to be able to copy that well CUPE's visuals, I doubt they would be "exposed" through pixelation, so rather than proof of photoshopping, the pixelation seems to be a result of zooming in on the poster to show just a part of Shani's body along with the text. That would make the pic appear pixelated, and then a screenshot was taken that way.
So far, I would say nothing's conclusive one way or another. The poster isn't on the IG accounts, but it could have been there and deleted, or could have been posted on another social media site to begin with, the visuals being the right ones doesn't prove anything, and neither does the pixelation. BUT since I noticed the dialogue about the poster seemed to have taken place on Twitter, I went to have a look there.
I found the post where someone quote retweeted Fred Hahn, asking him about that Oct 7 poster, along with Hahn's reply that CUPE had nothing to do with it, and then he added the false accusation of genocide, telling people to "focus" (because apparently Jewish pain is never the main focus, not even when we talk about the Holocaust, which is the term for the genocide of the Jews at the hands of the Nazis... there's a reason I mention this, I'll get back to it later). I will keep my mouth shut about how many ignorant, antisemitic, anti-Israel tweets I had to see as I was scrolling in order to get to the relevant one, I'll just say that workers unions that want to be safe for Jewish workers as well should do better than that, including when the heads of these unions post on their "personal" accounts (since they're not posting as a private person, they're posting as the head of said union). Apparently, CUPE has local branches, with numbers, and each has their own Twitter account, so I went to CUPE 3906, and went all the way back to their tweets around Oct 7. Needless to say, this official account is full of anti-Israel, antisemitic propaganda, too. Now around the relevant date, what does their timeline look like? There's one last pre-war tweet on Oct 6, a general anti-colonial one re-tweeted on Oct 7 (even though the timing makes the context obvious, the wording doesn't explicitly mention either Israel or Gaza), and then the next, VERY interesting tweet is on Oct 11. Here's the relevant segment (obviously the tweets appear with the latest at the top, older below):

Here is that Oct 11 tweet, which is a statement made in response to backlash they got for a tweet that they say was "made in solidarity with Palestinians."

Only the first paragraph is truly relevant, but the last one is also telling. "As the death toll rises," they said, just a day after Israel's counter action started, and while Israel was still counting its dead from the deadliest day in the history of this conflict, and the biggest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust. Still, the more important part is that if there had been nothing wrong with the tweet they refer to in the 1st paragraph, it should have still been up on their account, but it's not. Something was there and deleted, because there's now NO TWEET between Oct 6 and this statement, that could explain getting backlash... Deleting the tweet indicates they KNOW something was wrong with it, and they no longer wish to be publicly associated with it. But what was it? Have a look at this tweet, replying to CUPE 3906 on Oct 11:

It explicitly mentions rape. If the above poster was a fake, photoshopped and shared online in February 2024, how did someone posting in October 2023 know to mention rape specifically, and not just CUPE 3906's general justification of the massacre?
I can't prove anything one way or another regarding a deleted tweet, and with the progress of fake images, no one else can either. But I feel like the general progression of events indicates to me that it's more likely the poster is real, CUPE 3906 realized they won't get away with it, deleted it, and then they all closed ranks, claiming the screenshot is fake. Again, whatever they posted in the deleted tweet had to be real bad for even people as one-sided as they are (with all of the anti-Israel and antisemitic stuff they do proudly still have up on their accounts), that they were compelled to delete it. And justifying not just the massacre, but the rape specifically, might just do that.
Now let me get back to the IG accounts that the first ask pointed to, because even though they post less frequently than the multiple Twitter CUPE accounts, they're still very clear regarding this union's bias, and I'll also get back to that Holocaust mention, as promised.
I did not find a single post of solidarity with or compassion for Jews on either IG account following the Hamas massacre. I did find, on the Ontario account (and cross posted to Twitter, too) shared on Oct 10 a post that states they stand with the colonized over the colonizer, while the image (as well as their anti-Israel tweets) makes it clear they're erasing Jewish history and native rights in the Land of Isral and Jerusalem. The image could have been inclusive, show both mosques and the Western Wall, but nope. Jews are excluded from this image of our holy city and historical capital.

I also found a post about Holocaust Remembrance Day, which presents the Holocaust as including Jews. To make it clear, as someone who works in the field of studying this: "The Holocaust" is a term which is meant to reflect the Nazi intention to fully annihilate the Jews, something that didn't characterize their policy with other minorities. This is why we distinguish the Holocaust, the genocide of the Jews, from the persecution of other minorities by the Nazis. BOTH matter, and we talk about and educate against both, but they do have different characteristics, and so these are events, which are related, but CANNOT be reduced into one framing term. It is so problematic, talking about an event that was specifically about the Jews, as 'including Jews.' But let's say maybe that was ignorance, a lot of people don't get this distinction. CUPE's text doesn't mention antisemitism once, in a post about the most extreme antisemitic event in history, at a time when antisemitism is reaching its peak since WWII. When CUPE posted nothing else about this rise in Jew hatred, this text is just NOT good enough.

And what makes it even more obvious that CUPE is not treating Jews as it does other minorities, is that the same account DOES include posts that are specific to other communities, and does center the term for their hatred and persecution. They shared a post about a mosque attack that occurred in 2017, and in the text, they don't hesitate standing in solidarity specifically with Muslims, and against Islamophobia. So, to CUPE, 6 murdered Muslims are worthy of centering in the post about them (rightly so), but at least 6 million murdered Jews are not. Worse, the post then goes on to repeat the false claim about a genocide in Gaza. It also mentions the rise in Islamophobia following the war, even though they posted NOTHING, on NONE of the accounts I looked at, which recognizes the much greater rise in antisemitism we've seen over the same period of time, and which was launched by an attack on Jews.

The bilingual account, which I guess is a national one, didn't even mention Holocaust Remembrance Day. But on the very same date (Jan 27), it did mention the 2017 mosque attack, as well as Islamophobia, anti-Palestinians, but not a word on antisemitism.

All of this together is so upsetting, shows such a deep lack of concern for the well being of Jews, such a strong bias against the Jewish state and Jewish identity, that I honestly wonder whether that one poster is truly an issue. If it was posted by CUPE 3906, as I tend to believe by all signs I've seen, it seems to be a continuation of everything CUPE is completely unashamed of. And if they didn't share that poster, well... I guess there's a certain amount of poetic justice about being accused of something you didn't do, and no one listening to you protesting against the lie, eh CUPE?

its time to explain my persona lol
my persona is an eldritch god that can travel through universes and draw things into existence (ik its mary sue but LET ME HAVE THIS)
okay lemme explain a little. persona (i'll just call them that bcus im lazy) was made up of the code and pixels of a secret joke boss in a video game (the boss having said powers of my persona). but they never made it into the game, but combined with raw, human emotional chaos (idk why that was there) somwhere in the universe
eventually, they mushed into my persona! me, basically. nuke (the tiger) is my familiar that i summon with my tablet pen that turns into my battle axe. if my pen runs out of battery, nuke starts fading into lower frame rates and eventually disappears (he runs out of animation frames, those frames are powered by the pen)
my persona has been spotted in many worlds( my hyperfixation's worlds), they consider the characters to be part of the story, watching them for their own interest. they usually don't help out unless they're motivated by unknown reasons (me crying bcs THAT CHARACTER DID NOT DESERVE THAT) or to make the story more interesting
they can make worlds or humans/things if they wanted to. they like to tell stories and like talking to people
right now, this is how my persona is involved with my hyperfixations:
SCP : they're an scp that the O-5 council finds troublesome. humanoid scp that gets special rights because they can end the world (did i mention they can do that?). they know a lot about everyone in the foundation (bcus i read the files) they escape whenever there's already a containment breach happening and they mostly use the time to explore the facility without restriction. so far, they've had a therapy session with Dr Glass (ended with more questions and them eating the recording tape, but went well), pissed off Dr Clef and eaten one of Dr Kondraki's butterflies. they have a lot of knowledge of classified stuff. 423 mentions them being a fun story partner.
hetalia : ITS THE REAL WORLD THEY'RE ME LIVING NORMALLY
genshin : random traveler (not THE traveler) that runs around being weird (everyone hates them) stealing shit and making the archons pissed (they're a god that survived the archon war by sleeping through it in a cave, they didn't even realise the war happened lol)
ddlc : they're a background random classmate that sleeps in the back of the literature club classroom (they never interact with anyone and monika doesn't delete them) in the ending, you can't find their character file. if you ask the other club members about them here are their responses : natsuki "Oh them? they just snooze here like a lazy bum! ...but they like manga too, which is nice." yuri "...I think I take english class with them. I didn't notice they slept here afterschool. I wonder what kinds of dreams they're having." monika "you mean the student sleeping in the back? they're not important." sayori "oh, I never noticed them before! aren't they cold? we should bring a blanket for them next time!"
Demon Slayer : they're a background slayer. apparently they didn't even join the corps. they just walked out of the final selection forest and stole a kasugai crow. their weapon is a battle axe. it's unknown if it's made from nichirin or not. a lot of the corp members think they're a demon. muzan mentions them as a pest and a hinderance (they saw the blue spider flowers and went munch munch just when muzan showed up) at the end of the final battle, you can see them chilling on a boat (presumably headed back to china????) they don't speak, and they write their name in chinese.
apothecary diaries : they're in the background of all the cases maomao solves. maomao feels like there's someone watching her, but not with malicious intent. they're not a servant and dress in more northern fashion (like from ancient beijing) and they wear shorts. their silhouette can be seen in scenes with windows. it's mentioned that they visited the lotus house and visited the three princesses (but they didn't do anything and just talked a lot the entire time while talking to the princesses) granny thought they were a weirdo, looking too young to visit a brothel, but accepted it cuz they were paying a lot.
PJO : weirdo demigod that dionysus seems to find sus. participated in all of the battles (group ones with the entire camps). the rest of the camp theorises about what they are (they don't live in any of the cabins) no one know's their name. chiron doesn't know about them. during the battle for manhattan they can be seen in the background stealing things from shops. percy notices them at every one of his schools, but they don't go to classes and no one else shows recognition of their prescence.
MASHLE : a bg character that eats cream puffs. nothing else. no mentions other than always being at the cream puff bakery
inside job : everywhere, never talks, always watching
spiderverse : a rando in the spiderverse. no one know's how they got here. they seem to be pissed at miguel for some reason. they don't have a watch. they're in the chase scene but they just slowly walk as they watch everything (while eating a miguel burger).
HAZBIN : they sleep in one of the hotel's rooms. somehow, no one has noticed. they're in every group scene, usually peeking out from behind something.
helluva : they're at the doctor in s2, ep 4. just napping on one of the chairs.
harry potter : they're sleeping in the chamber of secrets. and in the room of requirement. and at the train station in the last book where dumbledore is. and flashbacks. just sleepin.

I've rewatched some of Goldbox's videos for pure nostalgia and to just enjoy the animations like I used to before I knew he was a terrible person. But rewatching his animations now...
Listen... As someone who is learning animation and genuinely wants to figure out how to animate and be considered as an animator... and I understand everyone learns over time but... I cannot STAND someone of the animation he does. They feel rather lazy or just plain stupid. Out of ALL of the videos he has made my favorite would rather have to be his deleted It's Been so long remastared video. Because it was actually good. I don't know what it is but his videos don't even seem like animations. They seem like animatics with very minimum movement. Some scenes go way too fast or are over-used or just don't make any sense in the slightest. Plus the transitions rather kill me. I understand with their old ones with MS Paint and stuff but like, with them making FNAF animations since 2014 or 2015, you'd think they'd finally start to improve and become better right. Nope. Some yeah good videos but I'm sorry. Some of it is crap. I'd say their worst animation/s were do you even and how to pretend (which okay maybe I can kind of excuse because they said they cancelled it or whatever), and also purple wedding and afton family.
I'm not saying people can't improve and that he isn't trying but, his animations have had times when they have annoyed me to the point I kept telling myself "does this even count as animation..." Because it kind of doesn't to me I'm sorry.
I'm sorry if this comes off as really harsh and rather rude. Just, some of his animations are off. I'd say some of his good ones are daisy bell, death of purple guy, it's been so long remastared, glitchtrap voice and nowhere to run. That's it. Okay bye.

EDIT 3. Since I felt peeved that someone was asking me to delete an old piece i actually did reach out to one of the artists (cannot currently figure out a way to contact the other). Permission was granted to keep it up.
I'm going to use this as an informal address of the issue if you do not mind. And i may delete it later.
Firstly i want it all to slide. I'm not a person who handles drama very well and I think I've already been made out to be some villain for some folks. I think there's already too much stink in the air but I'm here only to defend myself up to a line. This is long because I want to try and leave no stone unturned and cover all spots.

I do art for enjoyment. I enjoy when I learn. A crucial step for me has been learning from other artists. When I enjoy an artist or heavily reference their work I will call them out, credit them to the best of my ability. This is a track record you can observe. When I do not it's often because the reference is not exact, there reference was some generic pinterest pose/stock image esque/magazine esque photo, reverse image search and saucenao returned no hits (usually this means I am forced to link the pinterest instead).
I don't believe pose theft, pallette theft, concept theft is a thing, I think it's a form of gatekeeping and elitism but I will concede it can be a courtesy to call it out at will. Yet there are people who literally draw mannequin poses for share. If it inspires it inspires. I will not heavily debate this as I understand every artist feels differently about it but anyone in art understands implicitly the value of studying other art. Which is why I found that artist to be acting rather maliciously (*).
I know everything I've said thus far gets bungled when I start selling pieces and suddenly it appears I have a monetary incentive. Art does not pay my bills. The store is more so people who kept asking for those prints can get them. And I feel silly admitting this, but I only use the store promos on twitter to promo my piece (like on the timeline). It's a tactic I saw other artists using and i was like oh don't mind if i do too. It hurts my pride to admit. I do not make as much as anyone thinks I make and many Many prints do not sell. Inprnt takes half the earnings.
I personally upload almost every single piece so that I may purchase them or give them to friends. You will notice I do not have every single piece for public sale on store. There was an incident where a piece i did not intend to sell publicly was not rearchived and I failed to notice. I have a number of pieces up. The color schemes in a couple are very similar. Things get overlooked when you are not deliberately looking. Only two copies were sold during this time and if I had the option of knowing who bought it and how to issue a refund I would. I don't. I am sorry. This should not happen again.
HERE(*) I now want to address the way that artist framed their post and follow up discussions. First i take tremendous issue with the "big g*jo artist" lingo. My numbers do not dictate where i am as an artist and it is Absurdly infantile to think that bigger numbers means more mature, more seasoned, peak performance artist. I have worked years to get to where i am, and I am still working. I've complained about this. I've talked about this at length here on tumblr, how I get frustrated when I find myself stagnating skill wise, regressing. I don't understand how the thread could be so lost that this artist thinks I have made myself as an artist solely on a select few referenced pieces and that my goal is purely socmed growth.
Next, there's an impression that I blocked the artist on first contact. I did not. There was a full discussion where I brought up many similar arguments and when it reached the point where I no longer felt like any meaningful discussion could be had i made it clear I would be blocking but no hard feelings. It became clear at the end that the artist was truly just pressuring me to delete a couple Old pieces for what I assume was their own pleasure and to satisfy their righteous indignation. I did not and do not want to play that game.
Now the credit issue. There is a belief that I chose to issue credit on two pieces using a burner acct because i did not want that credit to be seen. As I mentioned these posts were old, specifically by 2 months. I post a lot. I have grown a lot in that time. There's a belief I don't feel shame for doing a poor credit job. I do. I feel tremendous guilt. I did not want those Pieces Themselves to be seen even if I refuse to delete (out of spite) If I had used my main art acct to reply there would be no doubt that those pieces would have be replaced onto the timeline and seen new traction, which would very much Not be the desired outcome. Was this the perfect solution, No. The perfect solution would be for me to have gotten the credit right the first time or update my standards for crediting to include the exceptions i listed at the start. The first part which I suspect is what is really being asked, is simply not possible though.
I apologize for those who may feel hurt re those two pieces. I mentioned this in my conversation with the artist that it was Not my intention to discredit, profit or hurt anyone. Obviously they left this out when they plainly said I blocked them and then liked a follow up comment that called me a coward.
This has been long. Thank you if you read all this. I will work to ensure nothing like this happens again.

Hello everyone, it has come to my attention that @wowsybobowsy on tumblr has come out with a post defending @chumburber, I’ve seen some contradictory and guilt tripping within both a post and comments she has left on the original call out post of her stealing designs from @pexterambles; for context she had stolen designs for her LOS(Legion Of Stationery/Stationary) from Pex, she had deleted her original blog, made a new blog and then proceed to make comments on the call out post and then had made a full blown post that described the actions as ‘bitchy’, when I pointed out that she not only blocked @Lokistarcorner when they tried to reach out to them to understand why she stole their friends designs she had then blocked me. This is a post not based on anyone's opinions, this is based on actions,

(I want to say that when showing photos of comments from the call out post, the comments are posted newest to oldest, meaning that you must read it bottom to top)
I'll start off with the first highlighted section ‘You don't need to go out of your way to possibly make someone’s day or life worse.’ this is pointing towards the possibility that the post has made her feel horrible, I mean this in the kindest way when I say that we are not responsible for your actions or how you responded to that post, the posts purpose was to make sure people knew of this action and to make sure people are safe and dont have their designs stolen, this was also meant to help you in pointing out your behavior so that you had the choice to correct it.
The second highlighted section ‘who don't know any better.’ This is referencing that she and many other people who have been called out didn't know any better, but I can confirm that for this situation that she is both a fully grown person as she had stated on her old blog that she was 18, I would also like to mention that the designs are public on tumblr. No matter what social media platform you could go on whether it be Tumblr, Instagram, or Twitter, anyone can see the original owner of the post. Meaning that if someone were to copy the designs, they will know they’re coping the designs, meaning that you were fully aware of what you were doing.
The third and final part ‘I think you, as an artist, would understand that NOTHING is perfect when you start out, but with a little practice, you can go a long way.’ You’re putting the blame on the original poster, saying that someone should understand something because of something that they are(IE: Saying someone should know how much a dog weighs based on geometric formulas because they’re good at math.) is saying that they should've known better, she was dropping the blame on them framing them as if they dont understand whats going on. I would also like to note that before anyone says that I’m contradicting myself with my reasoning for the second highlighted section, I have to say that that claim is incorrect. In saying someone should know better because they did something without knowledge is putting the blame on them without understanding what they did wrong. But I said that if Chumburber were to have copied the designs of Pex on a different social media platform, she would know that it was theirs without a doubt even if it was reblogged; tumblr has a symbol with the user name of the original poster to the right of the person who reblogged it,

I pointed out how she had blocked Loki after they contacted her trying to understand why she stole the designs and that she blocked them, she in turn commented that she had no idea what I was talking about(I am sorry to say that you can't find the comments as they’ve been turned off), if this were true though Void wouldn't have posted this comment.

In the first section ‘Making a whole post with peoples usernames attached to the traced art, calling them out for all to see, is a really BITCHY move!!’ She frames the post as if Chum was under a spotlight she was not ready for, victimizing her as if she did nothing wrong without knowing. 
The second section ‘Don't beat them down and degrade them! Dredging them and calling them out will only make them quit art in general.’ I’ll state it again, the call out post was meant to inform Chum about her behavior but also other people so that they can be safe and not have her steal their designs, we never controlled how she’d react to the post, it was her decision to delete her blog. It's like saying a person can control the weather and that if it rains, it is their fault that it rained.
The third and final section ‘The human race isn't perfect! And I'm sorry that not everyone has breathtaking, cutest-eutsey anime drawing abilities!!! You're not a hero if you only defend one side. That's called being a villain. You either defend all, or defend none.’ Let's start off with the first part, about the art style. Wowsy tries to diverge it, framing the call out as if it had something to do with her artstyle. As if it had some factor into Loki’s thinking, that maybe if she had better art there wouldn't be a call out post on her in the first place. Now onto the second part, everyone has differing morals and ideals, its their own decision to defend people who think they’re on the right side, and being a villain and hero is all up to people's interpretation because of their morals and beliefs, there's always one person that will see you as a villain. Defending all is not even possible, if you were to defend all it would be like saying that you support PETA but think that using gore and violence to try and get people on your side is a scare tactic that doesn't work.

As most people can see, Wowsy describes Loki’s post as ‘a bitchy move ngl.’ she then went further into the post to say that she doesn't mean to be mean. This of course is controversial, saying that you are trying to be kind and respectful to someone while also throwing insults at them when critique them and trying to communicate your issues with them is(of course) very disrespectful and contradicting yourself at the same time.

In this screenshot Wowsy tries, not once, but twice to diverge the original idea of the call out post; first framing it as the reason why Loki called out Chum was because her art skills and that she didn't have enough practice, she then tried again with the same reason. Stating that the call out was made because her art wasn't ‘cute’ or ‘perfect’. This has nothing to do with her art, her art style, how many years of practice she has, or anything to do with her art of actions in general. The call out was made because of her decision to copy the designs of Pex.

Look at how he frames it. Young voters and their disapproval of a genocide, not the Democrats doubling down and refusing to call for a ceasefire is what is going push America over the cliff.
I guess we have reached the stage of late capitalism where we simply acknowledge that this country's dominance is maintained by being as ultra violent as possible. Get in line and accept it, you're either with us or against us.
So back to the impending election, Biden's entire platform is, I'm a better choice than Trump. This is where the vote blue no matter who really fucks you. Trump is the boundary line. As long as Biden doesn't cross those lines, he can always say he's better than Trump. But as we are witnessing, he and company will get as close as they possibly can with out crossing. That way they'll always be the better choice. Not by much, but enough to say they are.
The further the Republicans go right, the further the Democrats can push right along with them, they just can't overtake them.
And that is the situation we are in. Yelling at voters for the failures of their government. Who are you voting for, Genocide Joe or Trump? Third party? Don't throw your vote away!
I said it in 2020, and I will say it again. The ONLY reason liberal whites flock to Joe Biden as their savior is because Trump made them feel like niggers in America. Four years of Trump gave you a taste of what the rest of us have been dealing with, regardless of which party is in control, and y'all said by whatever means we will get Trump out of here. We will vote blue no matter who.

I know who follows this blog, so most of you already know what I'm talking about, but I need everyone to take a step back and look.
The lesser of two evils is giving unlimited funding, ammo and no red lines to a state that is committing genocide.
That's the "safe" option to vote for.

This is already too long, but I've been wanting to talk about this and just haven't. Living in Trump country, means I interact with his fans on a daily basis. A lot of my coworkers are either outwardly or quietly supporters. Every time Trump supporters get mentioned on here it's always to highlight how stupid they are. Yes there are some glaring holes in their logic, but there is a method to the madness. They're also all very nice white people who would never consider themselves racist.
Many of them rightly realize this country's government is working against them. They may not know what the term class conscience means, but they have an understanding through life experience. Many vote for Trump because they see him as a wrench in the system. A revolt against the liberalism of Obama, Pelosi and Clinton, and the system that rewards people like them. It makes sense. The problem is that Trump is a fascist, and sells snake oil to desperate people. That's how fascists market themselves to voters. The person with the plan, and a cure for all their problems.
Voters will vote for anyone in order to have a better life. Even a racist, sexist, genocidal maniac. Wait a minute, are we still talking about conservatives and Trump?

Do you think they cut Jiara scenes from the finale? One episode they are all over the place and have so much scenes and in the next episode they act as if we're back to first season dynamic
well, i think that there was definitely a scene with luke that got cut. it's the one i'm hundred percent sure of. as for others, there's a rumour circulating that jj and kie talked about surf trip when they arrived to south america, but i'm not sure that's true, so let's leave it like that. also, i'm almost sure that there was a scene with them before or after cleope's kiss. i watched so many teen dramas and i know when creators use parallel narration for couples, so i'm pretty sure that there was a scene with them talking. there had to be! if we are talking about the scenes that should've been in the episode, i think simple implementation of jj and kie having romantic feelings would be enough. i don't think that the conversation to define their relationship could've happened because of how action-packed the finale was, but simple hand hold or hug or even smile would be enough. i really thought that when the group was standing on a cliff after ward's death, there would be a frame of kie and jj holding hands. what can i say? clowning myself is my way of coping. and i saw so many people saying that jj called her girlfriend when they were in the bus, and i want to believe that he did, but i'm not so sure cause rudy's mumbling is something i can never understand. hope that we will get some deleted scenes. netflix releases them for some shows, so let's hope that obx is their favourite child now!
i agree that after the episode that had so many jiara moments we get nothing, but i wouldn't call it first season dynamic. let's focus on positive thing which is jiara being canon now!

I was truly scared to ask this because it might come off as rude but I had wanted to ask this because it’s been bothering me for weeks. I was really contemplating whether to ask this and share my thoughts because I don’t want you to think that I am a hater or something. Omg I’m so scared don’t hate me please 🙏😭
Does Kakashi see Sakura as a replacement for Rin? Did he had any secret romantic feelings for Rin? I am asking because his thoughts of Rin in Chapter 27 is eerily similar to whenever he thinks about Sakura? 
For Example: 
“She’d been his reason to live; his own light in the darkness when Kakashi had felt hopeless and lost.” is so similar to: “I guess you could say... she’s my lifeline. I hold onto my thoughts of her whenever I feel like I’m drowning.” 
Without context, I would have thought he was thinking about the same person. In reality, he was talking about two people. In the former statement, he was talking about Rin at Chapter 27. In the latter statement, he was talking about Sakura at Chapter 31. There are many more examples in the fic but this ask would too long.
I hope I don’t sound rude. I am just asking here. But please be straight with me, does Kakashi view Sakura as a replacement for Rin? Personally, I just don’t want Sakura to be some kind of replacement for Rin as it would be unfair to her. It would only signify that Kakashi only has feelings for Sakura because he sees Rin so much in her and that’s really concerning for Sakura’s sake. 
Also the fact that you wrote “He blinked at the sight of Rin standing before him, but when he blinked again it was Sakura instead.” is concerning and can be seen as further proof that Kakashi only has feelings for Sakura because he sees Rin and not actually Sakura herself. 
My god my hands are shaking. Please don’t see this as hate. I am only asking. Btw I am excited for the next chapter! 
To be honest, I think the next chapter would be the perfect answer to your question. Of course it's been postponed now but I hope it gives you a clear picture of how Kakashi sees Sakura and Rin.
Also I know I sound very intimidating lately but this is just me putting my foot down after having to put up with so much crap from haters and trolls for exactly 10 months now.
I've just been deleting the worst of the hate and disrespect for the past 10 months to spare you guys, but it got tiring for me and the new spam attack was the straw that broke the camel's back for me. So that's why I'm putting my foot down and being serious now.
Also don't be afraid to ask. Simply asking is not rude. What I mean by "asking rudely" is when there's attitude involved or it's framed in a disparaging way.
I'm going to give you a few examples of real comments I got recently that I found rude:
"So Sakura's going to be r*ped for her first time? That's real shitty" (this reader was misconstruing)
"How can you say with a straight face that you're excited to write KakaSaku smut when you've written all this conflict between them?! I seriously have no idea how it's possible for Kakashi and Sakura to get together in your story at this point!"
"Can't you at least have the decency to put up trigger warnings for people who don't like to read non-KakaSaku scenes?"
Can't you just tell us if you're going to write more X?! I know you have a no-spoiler policy but I hate X
You say X happened but when in the world did X ever happen?! I see Y happening instead!
Why are you lying? How can you say X has or will happen when it looks like it's all about Y?!
So are you saying X is going to happen? Ugh, great (this reader was also misconstruing)
Here's a few examples of real comments I got that I found polite:
"Did the boys target Sakura or were they getting their revenge on her for punching the guy?"
"Do you take requests?"
"Can you explain if Mizuki was planning to drug Sakura in his office in X scene?
Is X character going to return? Just curious but if you can't answer for spoiler sake then it's ok!
As everyone can hopefully see, it takes more effort to ask rudely than it does to ask nicely.

Alright I'm doing it I'm trauma dumping.
Below is the account of the toxic boss, or as much as i care to write. Most of it I've blocked out buttttt I think writing always helped my mental health. So who cares, I'm doing it. Might delete later.
She's not getting named. She doesn't deserve to immortalized as anyone. She is just She.
There were warning signs in that first week.
She trains me, hypes up the job as so much work. So hard. I'm going to work evenings, eventually. She has me read the manual and... I don't recall much other training that first week beyond that/the basics.
I think she had warned me before that my second week on the job (the first week of spring semester) she was having necessary surgery and was going to be out. I feel like she did. But it's been 7 years. I don't know for sure.
That solo week she's gone she calls to check in once. I dont call her. Shes in recovery: and honestly that first week was more than enough training to cover everything. She didn't hoist anything major on me and we have good student workers that cover my dumb ass. Shes surprised I get on so well without her (Disappointed? Unnerved? Honestly no idea what the vibe was. I was just trying to be reliable and you know not fucking bother her after major surgery). Other departments fill in for me to cover the library at night so I don't stay the whole day. I think someone even covered my lunch but that bit is foggy.
Note: later at times it was just me and her, she never had anyone else cover me. (and there were many, she could never seem to keep another library coworker for more than a year- wonder why) IThat was never arranged beyond that first week without her. Maybe I did too good a job at being reliable, maybe it was just her covering her tracks, who knows.
The rest of the flags creep in slowly. The way she talks about the person who was in my position before feel... weird? Like that girl, I'll call her Diane, was like her best friend. They got on so well. Diane could do all this graphic design stuff to make marketing materials (read: I should learn how to do it just as perfect) but oh, I needn't force myself to learn what she knew (reality: I did, if only to import her work into a program that wasn't unweldly, laggy, and was compatible with everyone else had on campus). Diane had this fantastic whirlwind romance with an Austrialian and moved there to live out her dreams (foreshadowing: some weird poking into my romantic life with my future husband would ensue later).
Then there was the way she treated the other people working in the building. She insisted that the circulation desk was not a water cooler. That she worked hard to make it not a "water cooler". That talking to other employees would discourage patrons from coming to talk to us.
Note: This would later apply harshest to me and my future library coworkers. We weren't allowed to talk to each other for more than a minute before she'd come stomping out of her office to check on us. She positioned us at the desk where she could see at least one of us at all times through her window at the far corner of the library. I barely knew either of my two direct coworkers because of this.
She'd openly say things that were negative about other employees too: but in this subtle sly way that framed it around her view of the library. "So and so thinks he can run a library without a degree." "So and so is trying to do this to the building." She also had these expressions of disapproval whenever I joked with someone. Or talked normally in a way she didn't like. Or people said hi to me.
And then there were her reactions if anyone higher up in the food chain talked to me without her knowing about it first.
One time, maybe a few months into my tenure, maybe longer, the head of IT called me directly when shs and I were discussing something. She gave me this glare. This "you fucked up and now hell will reign down on you" glare. Turns out, the IT director was just wanting to have a laugh with me. My dad happens to work for a big IT service that colleges use, we were switching over to said service. Normally my dad would've been one of their direct contacts but had to give it to his coworker because, ya know, me working there is a conflict of interest for him. IT director thought it was hilarious. I probably would've too. But the whole time She was glaring at me. I could feel her anger. How dare I have this chat while we were having a conversation. How dare I interrupt her? How dare I have a little laugh. She was more important. No one called her about this. Reader; this set me into a full blow panic attack as I tried to scramble to end the call politely and quickly to get back to whatever the fuck She was currently pissed at me for. Now whenever this story of how my dad works for big IT service I have recurring panic and want to throw up.
Then there was her philosophy on proper Library behavior. While shushing wasn't something she did: she was sensitive to any volume above a whisper. She insisted thst any noise that echoed into the area must be stopped. Didn't matter from who or from where. This library has terrible acoustics and i was expected (and actually did once because she was watching) to talk to other employees about thier noise level if it carried from the north side (not the library) to the library in anyway. Me and my library coworker/ student worker were supposed to walk the floor every thirty minutes to stop noise before the collective volume of students got above a murmur. And not just one of us had to walk per thirty minute interval. Oh no. We were each supposed to walk independently of each other within the same thirty minute block, regardless of what we were working on; amount of students; when the floor was last walked. Yes, she checked
Note: This task was the first big clue she had control issues. My first coworker and I tried to do a system of asking the other when we walked last, so we could keep doing our tasks while also doing this busy work in the time frame she wanted. And it was busy work, as 80 percent of the time there would be a grand total of 10 people in the library. Walking the floor was really only necessary when study hall was in the building. These huge groups of teams constantly forget we are a library and needed the supervision. But the moment She caught wind of our developing system she crushed it. Insisted we both needed to be walking as often as possible. Didn't matter when the last time was. All the time was best. Her checking began in earnest after that.
Little things start to add up. I notice how while I'm being told one thing, I'm expected to do another. Be creative but only build off what others are doing/have done. Reach out to other departments, but send me your communication first because I can’t trust you to do it yourself. Tell me your opinions but if they don't align with mine they don't matter. Do this task, but I'll only give you expectations after you're already "doing it wrong". Come talk to me, but when you do ill give you the cold shoulder and act annoyed. Deligate to student workers but I will hoard tasks like a goblin and not explain my logic to why only I can do this minor thing.
I notice how she expects me to be exact with timing on everything. I'm supposed to do everything within her time frame, not mine, not the actual time of year, not taking into account outside knowledge or practices. It has to be done in her way or not at all. If I don't do exactly three posts a week on Facebook then I'm a failure. If I don't make an event every month and have it be different and unique and special Im a failure. If I schedule things months in advance at HER request and life things come up on the same day (like buying my fucking wedding dress) then how dare I exist outside of this library, failure.
Note: The Facebook thing really pissed me off for a number of other reasons. I started in 2016. No student was using Facebook. She insisted on searching up every potential student worker on Facebook before she'd talk to them. She got annoyed when she couldn't find them (because duh) or the kids had it private. I tried to get us on anything else, but she refused to do anything. I could see the PR people using other stuff but she was just ignorant. Literally the only people that looked at our Facebook then were staff, which was NOT who Facebook was for, according to her. Like I'm just supposed to make our students use this outdated platform and then our followers out of thin air for her.
I notice how I'm supposed to have all the answers for things outside of my power to control. No I don't know why that social media is pretending to have an account for us, I didn't make it. No, I don't know why this link isn't working today it was yesterday and that's the link you gave me. No, I can't just stop the students from downloading new apps on our IPads or saving documents on our PCs. When the pandemic hit she literally expected me to check every link on our website was working everyday and make a document, which she never read, and got mad when I told her which sites weren't working even though that's what she WANTED ME TO DO. Everyday for two months that's all I did. No not joking.
One on one meetings last an hour minimum. It's here her control issues are most obvious. She literally corrects the marketing materials i make with a red pen, marking tiny printing errors literally no one else would notice. Im talking periods not lining up exactly with the sentence above. Font sizes looking different to her eyes and refusing . Rarely it has to do with the actual wording of content.
The first time she disciplines me for something, its a minor mistake. I don't even remember for what. She later says she's surprised I didn't cry in that meeting. Which ???? Who even says that.
By this time I have a lovely coworker, Molly. Molly is much more independent and strong willed than I am. Molly also takes none of Her shit
Molly and I are given a rare opportunity to be alone together after a particularly nasty incident with her. She, oblivious to how a normal job and wardrobe function, critizes me for wearing the same pair of pants twice in a row. Thst this will make a bad impressikn on the library and therefore her. Or that I can't take care of myself. I am driving Molly home after this, quietly fuming, because Molly's car is having trouble. Some point in the drive, she turns to me.
"Hey, I don't think the way She's treating us is normal."
I chase that relief of that moment for the next four years in therapy.
My next coworker after Molly fled for greener pastures doesn't come until nearly a full year after she leaves. It's a guy this time, Josh.
Josh did not know how to deal with her shit.
Josh makes the grave mistake of "having a life outside of the Library" and makes friends in the theater department and joins the school play. She fumes whenever he leaves on time to go to rehearsal. She fumes whenever someone comes to talk to him about theater. I quietly cry a little, because even though she said I could have opportunity outside the library when I started. Reality is after 2pm I'm chained to the desk and don't go outside the building. I can't trust the student workers to be alone. And she can't watch the desk, she's got important director things to do.
Note: Her important director tasks that cab only be done in her office are easily done at the main desk by my current director regularly and often.
Josh is fired near the end of 2020. I don't know why, and that's fine. I do not have a coworker beside her for the remainder of her tenure.
It is here in the timeline where I learn a little of why boss is the way she is. I will not divulge it. That is not for me to say. I will say that in context I made a LOT of sense. But she let the effects of that drip onto me and everyone around her. That wasn't ok. It's not ok for anyone to regurgitate their trauma into abuse of others. That's what she did.
At the beginning of 2021 I am done with her bullshit. Therapy cannot go forward while she is my boss. I'm stalled. I do little rebellions. I mouth her barbs back at her from beneath my mask. I make small friendships with coworkers from other departments. Now that I'm not marketing, she can't control as much of me as she did. She threatens to take away tasks from me and I laugh. Then she'd need to do them herself.
The meetings between her and I turn into interrogations and daggers thrown at me. She forgets there's an office down from her and that someone else can hear her words. Her treatment of me flutters back to my bosses boss. I know nothing of this. No one comes to comfort me. No one asks how I'm doing. No one openly supports me. That's what I hate worst of all.
I can't tell you how elated I was when she told me she was leaving. I cried my way home.
This is only the surface. I've been writing this for three hours and it's still. NOT. ENOUGH.

I really don’t like how things are going here, there’s just been this big rush of people coming here, not even liking Loki and joining the Sylki crowd. It feels like they’re trolling, it doesn’t really feel like all of the ‘Loki is always a coward’ posts are serious. Why is there suddenly a massive amount of people here putting Loki down and talking about how superior Sylvie is? It feels so fake.
I don’t actually believe this stuff is being posted by actual Loki fans, I know they have a thing about not being named ‘real’ fans but that’s what they convey with their posts, they put Loki down and insult him in favour of Sylvie …but still want to be named a Loki fan? ..what?
It just feels like they’re all in on it or trying to make a big joke, insulting ‘real’ fans to the brink of deleting posts and laughing about it in private. They don’t listen to the points people make and the Loki tags are caked full of Sylki / Sylvie content, they scream ist/phobic/ism at anyone who’s ‘against’ them… is it all satire? ..is their entire existence a joke against fans?

From what I've seen in other sites many of the fans who loved the series weren't fans of Loki to begin with and since the framing was so insistent that he's a loser and she's the bestest girl in the MCU universe then they find it easy to hate on him.
Then those who consider themselves fans but hate on him are the weirdest of them all to me. Sometimes it feels like they think you can only like a character if you agree with the haters (so that you won't be vulnerable for saying you like someone), and there are those who know Loki's fanbase is mostly comprised by women so liking him is "cringe" and so they want to sound like they're "not like other fans".
Also there are many fans who are not even 'character fans', they're 'canon fans'. These people don't really care about characterization or plots, arcs... they just want more content and will defend it to death even if it retcons previous installments or has the characters betraying their own narrative. This type of fans usually get pretty angry whenever they see any criticism.
I guess most people would say to just ignore all that and stop browsing the tags but it sucks that we have to leave spaces that are supposed to be about our favourite characters just because some people are stupid and don't tolerate disagreement. They're all bullies, there's really no other word for them - lots of people love Sylvie and they don't go around hating on other fans or telling them they're wrong or accusing them or misogyny, biphobia, etc, they engage in fandom like any other sane person does. It's the bullies the ones making it hard for others.
So yeah, I wish a had a solution. All I can say is that I understand the frustration and it all sucks way more than it should. My inbox is always here in case you want to vent though 😉

A well-known rapper recently switched his IG pronouns to they/them. He hasn't made a statement yet, but people are swooning over this and talking about how he's "bringing gender diversity to hip-hop" and is "so brave," etc.
Oh, did I mention he was convicted of assaulting his girlfriend and threatening her with a firearm earlier this year? I bet this is totally unrelated.
Male abusers come out as non-binary now and the public immediately forgives them - if people even cared about their violence in the first place. Gender ideology is a great way for men to avoid social consequences.

It’s amazing how many normie women will agree with the basic concepts of radical feminism if you don’t frame them as Radical Feminism(tm). Things like porn culture, sex vs gender, male violence, are all observable and radfem conclusions are logical. It’s just when you start bringing out the theory of why it’s like this that women get skittish. Which is understandable—fully understanding the breadth and depth of misogyny is scary, and for a lot of women, it’s too much, and they will disengage.
But some women won’t, and while they might not read Dworkin or call themselves radfems, they’ll be more aware of how to protect and love themselves and other women, and might become politically active if they weren’t already. That’s the end goal for me—I don’t really care what women call themselves, I’m just happy they’re striving for female solidarity and class consciousness, even if they don’t use those words.

You know what, I really do think social media, maybe the internet in general, is rotting people's brains. Like "terminally online" and "brain worms" are not half-ironic jokes. It's destroying our attention spans and ability to interact with each other or form bonds, it's putting us in a social panopticon with no opportunity for privacy or ability to think for ourselves without fearing the judgment of our peers. People's boundaries are being eroded by the twin pressures/desires of fitting in and going viral. Sexual harassment is getting worse and worse, partially because of those two pressures. Corporations know more about us than we know about ourselves. Kindergartners arrive at school without the motor skills to hold pencils or the spatial awareness to play with Lego bc they were raised with tablets. Our eyesight is getting worse; our rates of depression and anxiety are skyrocketing; in fact, our physical and mental health are both plummeting. We are polarized, afraid, subject to groupthink, slowly being subsumed.
And you know, this is all linked to capitalism, bc who is benefiting from this? Who wants a tame and distractible populace? This particular analysis has been done by ppl better equipped than me, but the total ignorance/avoidance of this fact is simply playing into the hands of the capitalists. It scares me, honestly. I worry it's not going to get better.

Alright so this is an interesting question, friend, and I don't know if I can be super helpful, but I'm gonna try my best for you.
I have a very frameless writing style. Which is cool, I know what works for me, but what you gotta know is that tailoring your writing style to your own comfort, is the best thing you can do to start. I know what works for my own brain, and what works for you may be very different, just know that there is no "correct" or "incorrect" way to plan a fic or any writing project for that matter.
But, since you asked, I'll answer.
When I say "frameless" I really do mean that to start, I really don't have much of a process at all. I will often start when I'm drawing, and I want to just create a character that can exist in a universe. For this, I'll just use Least Sane Moments as an example, because I know you read it, and it's probably the best example of how my writing process works.
I first started by drawing Mita. I went through a few drafts of the drawing, knowing the kind of character I wanted, and I started eliminating aspects of her character I didn't want, and adding ones I wanted. I knew I wanted an Arcane OC who was some kind of bounty assassin, I wanted her to be very stone cold, and I knew I wanted her to be skilled to the point that it definitely seems like she's got some skeletons in her closet. (You don't have to be an artist, it's fine to just do like some kind of character sheet from a role play discord server or something).
When I have a character, I just sort of figure out what kind of situations I want to put them in. This is usually accomplished through vigorous daydreaming. A lot of times this can also look like me speaking lines out loud, while I try to capture specifics of the characterization. This was how I figured out how I wanted Mita to get her points across in as few words as possible.
Interactions like:
"If you're waiting for someone, I doubt they're gonna show. You've been here for hours, and I'm the only one to even approach your booth here."
"If you're lucky, he'll be a no-show." She stated with finality.
"And if he does?"
"Then I'm the lucky one." The voice modifier glitched as though she gave a small chuckle.
Went through many verbal walk-throughs before I ever managed to write them down. Speaking lines (especially with Mita) is my way of capturing the character in as lifelike a way as opposed to just writing a scene and editing it down. I do edit down my scenes a lot, I just save a lot more time and effort by speaking lines before I try writing them into a fic.
Now, a lot of these scenes are thought of, out of context, and without any consideration to an overarching plot. For example: Mita first showing her face to Vander over drinks while they talk about poisons, as well as Mita and Grayson's meeting were both going through this verbal process at the same time. I just liked both of these scenes, and I wasn't even really thinking of being able to put them in the same fic.
So, by this point, I have the main characters I wanna focus on, and a few scenes I have in mind. From there, it's just a matter of finding a starting point. With Least Sane Moments, I just found a scene that I had already thought of, that didn't need any context and could easily be framed/edited into being a meeting point.
I didn't have to do this with Least Sane Moments Part 1, because I knew to start where the story starts. Vander meets Mita, and hijinks ensue. But when I don't have a good starting point, I just find a place I like, and I start writing interactions from there. If I don't like the first 300 words or so, I'll delete the first starting spot, and I continue writing as though that's the new start.
You may have noticed that I haven't mentioned any sort of plot outline yet. So, funny story, I don't usually know what my plot is until I've already written a few chapters. I didn't even know what Mita was investigating until I already had finished Part 2. I have Mystique keeping it a secret from Mita, because she was keeping it secret from me, as the author. I didn't even know I wanted there to be another creature until I had finished Part 2.
This happens a lot from Part to Part. For example, in the version I posted, Part 2 of Least Sane Moments starts with Mita watching a target, and having to chase him. Part 2 originally started with Mita leaving the Last Drop and going to Mystique for information. I decided I didn't like that beginning, so I deleted what I had and started from her watching the target, so I could introduce Mystique at a different point where I liked the interaction more. You can do this from any starting point, including the fic's opening scene.
I discover my stories as I write them, and that's why I don't post Part 1 of a fic until I already have Part 2, and about half of Part 3, written. So when I decide to add something, I can go back and add a little bit of foreshadowing in a previous part without disrupting what my readers already know.
But as I created and added parts, and characters, and OCs from other stories into Least Sane Moments, a narrative began to construct itself. I know if I want Devoan to be in Least Sane Moments, I have to have a clear connection to the conflict.
(Prepare for a real time example of me using this process in writing here)
My biggest issue right now that I'm trying to work with, is that I know I need Mita to get some kind of information, but I don't want it to just fall into her lap. I can't decide whether to demonstrate her intelligence, or show another character's kindness. The issue with showing another character's kindness, is that I would need it to be a character I've already introduced, or alluded to in other parts of the story, because I have certain parts already published.
Either Mita is just smart, or I need, Vi or Mylo to be the one to collect and give her this information.
And as I wrote this out, I actually just decided that it should be Mylo. It's already established in the show that Mylo is an eavesdropper, and I already have a scene I've verbally played through, where Mita discovers she wants to teach Mylo to be the one she passes down her swords to. So it's likely that Mylo has heard Mita telling Vander what's going on, and he would likely be the one to over hear some kind of transaction happening somewhere in the undercity, and it makes sense that he'd blab about it to Mita, just because we know he can't keep his mouth shut.
Interesting how this process works out for me. And from there, I know how to develop Mita's growing attachment to not only Vander, but life settling down with him and the kids at the Last Drop. Suddenly it makes sense why she would choose to make this job her last, when she now has people to keep safe, and she knows someone that may want to take up her mantle and use the skills she teaches for good. She can't do that while she's intentionally putting herself in harm's way with the most dangerous people in the city.
From here, I can tie this to the rest of the scenes I've played through, and bring the story to a good conclusion, that leaves plenty of room for all of my other fics that I've placed in this universe.
Finding your starting point is not as important as figuring out what you want to write, and reverse engineering a start point from what you know you want later in your story. It's ok to spend time figuring out what you want before even beginning to write stuff down. For the most part, I just start writing from whatever point feels right, and editing it into a real story.
I know this process isn't for everyone, but I constructed this process because everyone else said I had to write an outline and know my entire story before I even started writing. I knew that process didn't work for me. Writing down bullet points for every part of my story sucked all the life out of my scenes, because suddenly, my characters were just points on a list. I liked being able to speak their lines, and explore their stories in my imagination before I started writing, and most of the time I just start writing an interaction down before I even have a point.
Whatever way you decide to explore your story, is perfect. Don't let anyone tell you that you're disorganized or unintelligent for doing something a certain way. If it works for your brain, it's the right way.

I'm kinda scared of the answer but how many drafts to you have?
I wasn't sure whether you meant Tumblr drafts or just fic drafts so I'll answer for both.
In terms of fics that have reached the drafting stage (so not counting the ones I've just got plans for but the ones I've actually started writing and I'm also not counting chapter 2 of The Prince because that's really just waiting on the very final edits), if we're counting stuff that's a bit old but I still plan to get around to eventually, then it's eight I think.

Now, some things that are important to note, yes some of these are asks that I've started answering but not gotten around to finishing for one reason or another (OTL), but I also have a lot nonsense in there, including some meta things on my fics that I've typed up as I've written them but not bothered to actually post. There are also some posts where I've started to write them and then gone, wait no, I don't think anyone actually cares but I don't quite have the heart to delete them so they end up in my drafts (seriously these have been collected over the five+ years I've had this blog).
My askbox is similarly a bit of a mess at the moment. I'm slowly but surely working my way through those five line ask games when I have time. When it comes to the lore I asks I have, however, at the moment I'm on a bit of a fic writing kick so I'm putting more of my energy into that side of the blog.
Given the lack of new content, now when it comes to lore asks, I just find myself double checking the same source material over and over again and I'm honestly a little burned out from it. That's not to say I won't answer them, I do hope to once I'm a bit more in the mood for lore discussion, but answering lore questions can be quite draining because I answer one and then I get three more and it just sort of repeats and it sometimes feels a bit like I'm simply posting into the void.
I do want you guys to enjoy this blog, but it's also important that I enjoy working on it, otherwise I end up in a bit of a slump and disappear for a month or so (as has happened in the past). As I said at the moment I have a lot of creative energy, hence the selkie scenarios that I posted spontaneously last night, but I also respect that my strange little AUs are not for everyone so today I have seriously been considering making another side blog so I can burn a bit of this energy on JJK and spare you guys fics and scenarios that you didn't ask for.

TL;DR I have an extremely large number of things to do, a fair portion of which are self-inflicted, but real life limits what I can actually achieve in a certain time frame.

Spring Update 2: Revised Animatic and Animation has Started.
After showing the initial animatic at a critique and to a couple of friends and professors, the common consensus was that it dragged on too long. This is the third version of the animatic, the second version had the montage scene replaced with a 3-hours-later card, and the golden tape scene was removed. From the critique a lot of people didn't get the golden tape scene, what I intended with it was that people would project their own worst memory into it instead of me trying to make it my worst memory, which is the marco polo game in the script. They also thought I should get rid of the montage scene which I personally liked but I tried it out just to see how things worked out. It still seemed a bit choppy and dragged on until I emailed the first draft to last semester's capstone professor and she had a lot of critiques about the basketball scene. That's when a lightbulb went off in my mind, "What if instead of trying to fix it I just remove it". And oh my god the animatic worked so much better and thank god because that scene had a lot of moving parts and complicated backgrounds that I didn't even know if it would be possible to animate at my skill level. Don't get me wrong it did hurt a little to delete a week's worth of work but that's how it is when producing an animation.

Highly recommend reading this book for your observational research during the fall semester. I was an idiot and started reading it in the spring so I barely got halfway through it before I had to start the actual animation process but what I did read was very useful. The main reason why I didn't read it beforehand was because I hate reading books, I feel that video tutorials are way more efficient and easy to understand than reading 400 pages but this book has a lot of pictures and the author's personality really shines through which makes it fun to read. However, you should be highlighting and writing notes on the side of the pages rather than just reading the pages. The more active you are in your research the more you will retain.

Also as the page from the book suggests you should record/time actions you want to animate by performing them yourself. I was really struggling with the last scene where Dillon goes back to bed. By recording myself I was able to see so many small details of my arm and leg placement as I changed positions. I tried this a couple of times with my first attempt being very slow and in this version, I did it a lot faster.

Similar to how my first animation test for the animatic was the walk cycle for Brain Cell 2, so was my Toon Boom Harmony test. I thought this would be the perfect thing to work on first cause this walk cycle requires a lot of different aspects of digital and traditional animation to make it happen and then once I know where everything is I can try and master it by working on the simpler cuts.

First, and probably simplest, is how do I even draw on this thing. I was having a lot of problems with Toon Boom in the beginning because it didn't like the size of my laptop's monitor so I checked out one of the monitors from the Fablab. I then set up my own animation station in the back of the bunker. This was a bit of an annoying aspect working with Toon Boom because if I had some downtime throughout the day, especially at the Fablab, I couldn't work on it because my screen wasn't acceptable and I needed space for the tablet. At the very least what this setup did for me, psychologically, I had a place where I could associate my stress with instead of keeping everything in my room. Until my other roommate let me borrow a monitor he wasn't using, then most of the animating I did at home cause I like having a place with sunlight.

From animating this one walk cycle I learned how to draw, color, make new frames for a layer, create symbols for the eyes and mouth which is useful for when characters are talking, how to insert spines/rigs into certain body parts or drawn pieces such as the legs so that I don't have to draw them frame by frame, how to rotate, resize, and move a drawing using pegs, and how to parent objects. Sometimes I would also get happy accidents such as the legs moving a bit before the body, this goes to a classic principle in animation which is anticipation. I was also really happy with how I was closely able to match the timing of the animation to the animatic, the bag still feels like it has a heavy weight to it.

I would also keep a notebook next to me and write down anything new I would learn so that I was more actively researching when clicking through Toon Boom tutorials on YouTube.

Once the walk cycle was finished and I was happy with how it looked I split up the animatic into 9 different scenes and then tried fully animating Scene 2 since that and Scene 6 is where that specific walk appears. However, that proved to be quite difficult because of how many different camera angles are in Scene 2, such as close-up shots of Bran Cell 1 on the couch, wide shots of Bran Cell 1 & 2, and then that one still with the door. There were simply too many moving parts to animate this on one file so then I thought "What if I split them even further to the cuts that make up each scene".

Now it's difficult to constitute what is considered the ending of a scene but I personally considered a scene done whenever there was a huge change in setting/background or if it felt like there was a new topic being discussed. So scene 1 is Dillon going to bed so we are in and rotating about his bedroom but once we enter inside his brain I call that scene 2 because the backgrounds are completely different for a good length of time. Then when Brain Cell 2 inserts the tape into the VHS player I called that scene 3 since they are not trying to figure out what the VHS tapes might be or how they work anymore but instead the focus is shifted toward the presentation memory even though they are still in the brain room and 2 cuts are in Dillon's bedroom. Some scenes like scene 5 flip back and forth between the brain room and the bedroom and quite honestly scene 6, which is the one where they drag in the new bag and ends when Cell 2 reaches in for another tape, could be argued to be a part of scene 5, especially since scene 3 has both the Brain room and Dillon's bedroom, but you really have to go off your personal feelings as to what will help you best in breaking down your animatic to simple parts.

Unlike scenes, cuts are very easy to define. A cut is whenever the camera angle of the scene is moved. If you think of it in a live-action sense if I wanted to get a different camera angle of my actors I would yell "CUT" and they would take a break while I set up my camera in a new position. Some scenes, like scenes 1 and 6, had only 2 cuts while scene 2 had 20 cuts, in total Bedtime had 80 cuts which includes stills and repeat shots. This made it a lot easier to work out the math as to how much time I had left to make the animation and which scenes and cuts required more priority if I wanted to make a good finished product. Scene 4, which is the montage scene, could be cut out completely if I really was stressed for time while scene 2, the dragging of the first VHS tapes bag, was not easily avoidable since that created the whole setup of the plot.

This can take up a lot of space on your hard drive and it can get annoying to transfer the assets/layers from one Toon Boom file to another so I would combine the cuts that had the exact same camera angles to make life a bit easier for me. I'm not 100% sure this is how people in the industry organize their files but to some degree, they definitely have to do it this way. Remember that you have several teams of people working on an animated project and the way people get paid, at least in Japan, is by the amount of cuts you do per episode.

Now that everything was nicely organized and I knew that my goal was to reach 80 cuts before the beginning of April I had a feasible plan of action. From February 28th to April 8th, I had to do at the very least 2 cuts a day in order to have the animation part done before the day of the exhibition. Obviously, I wasn't just going to do 2 cuts a day because I would be working up to the wire and that's not factoring in the time it takes to make the backgrounds and sounds for the animation so I definitely hoped that during spring break I could do at least 4 a day or get the harder cuts out of the way. If I wasn't able to complete 2 cuts then at the very least I had to start working on 2 cuts and then hopefully the next day I could do 3 or 4 to make up for lost time. Also, it's best to break this up into smaller pieces as well, so instead of "I need to finish 80 cuts as fast as possible" I would say to myself "I need to finish 14 cuts this week as fast as possible" which is why there is a number on the side with how many cuts I still had left to do. This way I can give myself some leisure time or work on other aspects of the capstone or school work and not stress myself out because I still have 43 cuts left. And if I got ahead of schedule by finishing my 14 cuts I felt more motivated to keep working at a steady pace.

Originally I was going to hire somebody to do the backgrounds for me but I ended up doing them myself in Toon Boom because I couldn't really find anybody cheap and even if I did I wouldn't know how to describe what type of backgrounds I wanted cause I needed to do some on my own regardless. I needed 27 backgrounds maximum, some were reusable so it was probably close to 20 but even then that would be way too expensive to make somebody else do for me so might as well do them all myself. That way they are all the same quality and I can save some money that can be allocated somewhere else such as voice actors. If you know some people who are good at digital painting and you have a good idea of what you want I would definitely suggest hiring someone to do the backgrounds. In the industry, everybody is a specialist in only one field, so one person does all the backgrounds while a different person makes the character designs and then a third person is the actual animator. But because Stevens' budget is so limiting for a project like this you have to really pick your battles.

Also highly recommend exporting your cuts as TIF Image Sequences and compositing them in After Effects, the one on the left is a TIF Sequence. When I export into a video format through Toon Boom the colors get a little bit whitewashed. This will however eat up a lot of your hard drive space especially since some cuts will need every layer to be its own separate image sequence. If it's just a still or a single stationary layer then just export it as one image and then extend it. If you're gonna go crazy with compositing in After Effects then you should definitely invest in an external hard drive to make life easier for yourself and it's just a good way to keep your capstone stuff out of harm's way, you never know what may happen to your laptop.
What I want you to take away from this specific post is that ORGANIZATION IS KEY TO A FINISHED ANIMATION. You cannot work on it every day for every second of the spring semester cause you'll get burned out like I did in April. If you can mathematically prove to yourself that you're in a good spot and can afford to give yourself breaks once in a while then your project will come out amazing. If you constantly keep yourself under stress then you'll start taking shortcuts where they don't need to be taken and your animation will suffer because of it.

Just a continuation of the Scumbag post because I reached the limit of photos I could attach to that post. Starting to think the tweets he made on the @whoknowsbitch1 about not having any friends was about himself, seeing as how he's stalked so many of mine.
*Image that's marked as 2* These are all the times he's tweeted about games HE has been actually playing. In the chat with Phil on messenger (I can provide screenshots if needed) around this time frame he talks to Phil about a couple of the games like God Of War, they had a lengthy discussion about that because Phil was basically helping him with how to defeat some areas and facts about the game. They also talk about Assassins Creed at some point, and he told Phil about him getting Jedi Fallen Order the last Xmas they ever spoke on messenger. Not to mention he always talks about Spiderman, he talked alot about Animal Crossing & the Pokemon games. This info is all on the accounts I came across AND his last Reddit account I found is a username dedicated to Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (CrimsonGuardianXCII) also Stacey plays The Sims game, she dedicated accounts to her playing the games and the characters she made.
*Image marked 3* Its super creepy a grown man is using a fake birth date, to follow women, (the one girl he follows and communicated with January 14th 2020 was 15!!!) his birth year is 1992. But its the fact he's targeted my friends to follow making himself seem younger than what he is. Super gross. Another thing is me & Phil whenever we're sus of an account we check back on it after a few days to see if Liam reacts, so what I mean by reacts is does he delete the account, which he's done a couple times, deletes posts, which he's done in the past before or changed the username. So as we predicted, even though we sent him no links to my tumblr, Phil blocked him and he must've gone to stalk Phils account or saw the link on my Reddit account. He's got rid of followers and some people he follows, he's deleted posts such as: Asking about putting Viagra in his luggage, tweets about Spotify and the Animal Crossing picture he used that was Stacey's character and the switch game. And his likes have gone down. This is a typical reaction once he's been found out, giving himself away even more.
*Image marked 4* This is YouTubes way of blocking a channel, if he left a comment, I won't see it, it essentially goes into a void. But anyway, I blocked both the ones that I know Liam has, Phil showed me the first one (they uploaded Uni projects on there, that's how Phil knew about it) when we realised Liam & Stacey were stalking. Phil wanted me to block as many accounts as possible so that I had no interaction with him, the second one was on his Twitch, that I blocked (which I found when blocking his twitter related to his Twitch) I have never interacted with Liam on there, I have never messaged him on there. I'm guessing the "Hi Kirsty👍🏻" is when he was stalking and realised I had blocked his account and him getting angry, that is how he exposes himself. But on his fake Twitter where he's pretending to be a female with a fake name, fake birth year and interacting with 15 year old girls, he's talking about ANOTHER youtube channel (none of the accounts I've blocked have numbers in the name) So this shows the extent that whatever platform he is on, he has made numerous accounts. What is this obsession with me? Because the latest findings with that Twitter account truly shows he is a crazy freak, not to mention the many questions as to why a 27 year old man (at the time) was interacting with a 15 year old. Its gross.

I think its safe to say, I've provided enough evidence (don't worry there's lots more still to come) but from the evidence provided, the only person here who's been actively watching is Liam. From the fake Reddit accounts, fake twitter accounts, fake YouTube accounts, fake Instagram accounts and possibly he has fake Facebook accounts, the extent he has gone to constantly have an eye on what me or my husband Phil is doing is borderline crazy. I think he wanted to stay relevant because truthfully he's a loner, I think he's miserable with his own life, so therefore stalking his former mates wife and when he's caught out he likes to think he's the one that's being stalked. When in reality he's blocked and that's that. He's pretended to be a female twice, all whilst stalking my friends, which is so creepy. A 32 year Old man pretending to be younger than 30 to stalk women, it sounds as crazy as he is. The whole thing of "I'm a man no one believes me" is simply because he is full of shit. The only thing he's got screenshots of is stalking our accounts AFTER we've blocked his main account and even then it was us retweeting cheating quotes and narcissist posts, meaning he's using fake accounts. I've never followed his friends, I have mutual friends of his yes, but I never followed them first. They added me on Facebook, followed me on Instagram/Twitter first. He thinks he's someone special when really he's a nobody. It took us to June 2020 to realise he was doing anything because we didn't care about him. That's how much we cared about him, as soon as he was blocked, we didn't give a flying fuck about his existence. But this person who's boasted about his shit sex life, needing viagra, not cleaning his arse properly, bad mouthed his wife numerous times and has endless health issues, wanted to stay relevant, he wanted us to give him attention because its what he craved. The great thing is, if he's gone chatting crap to anyone and they approach me, I can simply send them the link to this tumblr which will reveal everything. If they looked at my Facebook, they'll see evidence and the link on my Facebook. The great thing is, him being so miserable is karma. He will be found out eventually by all those around him, and that will be karma, for providing so much evidence, for not moving on with his life when he was first blocked and for ever thinking he was smart enough to pull this off.
