Hey guys! Today I feel particularly happy, I don't understand why, but I guess I woke up on the right foot, which is undoubtedly good, so, as a demonstration of my immense happiness, I managed to finish a drawing in a single day, here's a Cool P for you <]

It's a simple thing, but I don't mind, since it brings back memories of being something I did at a good time, and I think I got too excited that I didn't notice some mistakes 😬

FIRSTLY (ohhh no man, no she talking about this again 😭) The pants look good, everything is good, everything is pretty and cheerful...but...why is it so high up? It's like...why? 🤨, honestly hadn't thought about it while I was outlining it...and you know what else I wasn't thinking? Correct! THE DESIGN OF THE LINES ON THE LEFT LEG IS DAMN BACKWARDS!, I just realized it when I was painting the pants 😭

Other than that I liked it a lot, I know my drawings aren't perfect but I still love them just the way they are, I do it for the simple fact that I know I try (not like the last three years when I suffered a horrible art block that I thought I would never get out of ☠️) and I apologize that in the last posts it is almost just me highlighting everything that I saw wrong later, I guess it's a rare way in which I appreciate what I do, because it genuinely amuses me and entertains me to see the things I did wrong, and not to make fun of myself, it's more like...laugh along with me...strange analogy I know, but you get the point, I will just say that as a recent artist in this beautiful community I am grateful to have the opportunity to see such great artists here, since they inspire me to want to be just as great, now I will leave the sentimental talk here because otherwise I could last hour and hours talking and I know that many don't really come to see the ramblings of an ordinary girl, so I will try not to write too many things in my next posts, although I don't promise much since I tend to be a parakeet when they give me free rein, and even more so in a space where no one tells me to stop (at least they haven't done it yet and I hope I don't feel the shame of it 🥹) so I say goodbye once and for all, I'll see you around, stay safe 🫶

guess who couldn't hear her alarm again 😙 thank god its only trial week so I don't think attendance matters yet. the courses yesterday were a bit,,, not it but i have a full day of cinema and photography ahead! 💖

I also got accepted into the homestay program and im going to meet a family soon!! <3

I also managed to get a hold of a suica card! basically they are tokyo's transportation card BUT they are currently mega hard to find because of a chip shortage. and let's say I was going crazy over the tokyo metro every single time I had to buy a ticket. its sooo complicated. and i always made everybody wait :( it got delivered super fast and the seller even put a small origami inside the package <3

wednesday was also a nice lovely day <3 after we were all done with lessons (one of which was absolutely bonkers, but at least i met a. again) me f. & k. went to eat out at ikebukuro and I had great sushi!!! I'm also glad we got to hang out with k. in a smaller setting because I'm kind of having a hard time understanding if he wants to be friends lol but seems so!!! (he made me try a station vending machine exclusive type of water that literally turns into jelly lol it was fun!!)

I also attended my one and only literature course and the professor seems very nice and part of the exam is just making a playlist for one of the short stories we're going to read and how cool is that!!! (italy could neverrr)

ive been super busy during trial week (basically you get to attend every course you want to check them out but then you have to decide and register officially, so ive been attending so many classes) so ive been eating lunch outside. im trying some konbini stuff and surprisingly their egg sandwiches are DIVINE i thought i would like them the least!!!

I also had some more awesome cinema related classes <3<3<3<3 i have a course thats called japanese film in comparative perspective but the professor essentially made it a socialising class where japanese students and international students can mingle and the exam is just making an ACTUAL movie together!!! and then at the end we will be hosting a uni academy ceremony (how FUN and CUTE is that!!!!)

It was also very funny because f. came to attend this one film class with me despite it really not being his thing and he was soooo uncomfortable with it all, he so wanted to run and he actually did at the first chance lmao

The movie class i had right after was also soooooo interesting...... im like overwhelmed by the amount of classes i want to take lol

we finally settled on the okinawa trip!!!!!!!! 💖💖💖 im so happy the guys were supportive of my idea, it has been on my bucket list FOREVER and I still haven't processed that I'll actually be in naha!!!!!!!!!!!! it's me, f. & j. so far (my bestiesss <3) but we could potentially invite two more people and we are,,, pondering 👀 id really be fine with just them, because the only other person I feel would not ruin the vibes is k. but hes settled on going north all on his own. maybe e. would be fun but I haven't spoken to him much!!! and f. and. j. both really like h. but he literally doesn't talk to me lmao we'll see 👀

we also finally ate takoyaki from the food truck outside campus and it was DELICIOUS <3<3<3

I have a super busy day ahead pray for me!!! I'll also have to explain to the japanese teacher that im still jet lagged and I couldn't go yesterday so I can't hand in my homework today sigh sigh sigh but I'll live 🙏🏻 and then I have all the photography course!!!

how is everyone doing?

i decided to take myself out today and, in lieu of flickering lights or passing comets, take stock of the year, its become a bit of a tradition for me ☺️

and upon doing so, i was just overcome with a sense of gratitude to all of you this year. i came off of last year very chipper but also craving something new.. i wanted to make something? carve something out for myself? its hard to explain.. maybe it was just nesting instinct 😂 but upon reflection, i made this year about being true to myself in new ways by challenging old habits. i established new routines in my daily life like vitamins and a skincare routine and routine tidying and tea drinking! woohoo!! and i pressed where i usually acquiesce! and i kept myself accountable in fun ways on here, and fundamentally changed the way that i blog. thank you for indulging me on this journey 🙈

the landscape changed so much. this year i had my inbox open to anonymous asks, and i treated it different than i did way back four years ago when i first tried it but gave it up. there were so many asks that i did not get to, but i learned to be decisive and focused with where i put my time and not to get stressed by or consumed with what to say. and i tried to hold back less when i found things that brought out the passion in me. i was worried how this new version of me might be received but i have never felt more happy or at ease. ive met so many new people and seen an increase in activity and hustle and bustle for us all that i had thought we might never witness again. but here we are. many thanks to all of my friends out there near and far who made me laugh and smile and spiral throughout the year with your insight and humor and companionship.

never in my wildest dreams did i imagine we would get a whole new album and era, nor was i able to predict how blessed we would all be with the easter eggs and thoughts and feelings and happenings that would reveal themselves every step of the way. i am still floored by midnights. floored!! augh!! the layers!! the sounds!! the visuals!! how it fits!! how it again, against all odds, fills out the big picture! i cry!! tears of happiness!! and to think! this time last year! we were all deep in the evermore woods and going through it!! damn!! but it made the milky way all the more beautiful 💜

midnights era and eras.. era is just around the corner and with it will come a myriad of exciting moments and gifts to pick up and marvel at. and, should you have me, i cannot wait to celebrate every second of it with all of you. here’s to a breezy and chill 2023, fam 🥂 love you all to pieces 😙

Ik RTD wanted to bring in that goofiness but it came across more as cheesy bc of the pacing and music and it would’ve been better to have the scene be of tension and confusion - like why did this face come back? Why are the timelines converging? This could be a massive problem. They should’ve started the episode with 14 stepping out of the tardis in London, getting his bearings, and running into Donna [cue title sequence] and then getting into the silliness of it a la S4e1. That pacing would’ve been much punchier imo

Bro needs to commit to buttoning that vest or not ffs!! Donna was right even if she was rude abt it 💅🏽

Establishing the tension from the start also would’ve made the sudden arrival of the spaceship more fitting, less out of place - like heightening the danger rather than splatting it in (yes that’s a word bc I say so)

So, you're a math teacher, huh? You clever girl. That's amazing! I've always been the worst at Maths, I don't hate them, I respect them but they're so difficult! I mean, I know it's just practice and logic but sometimes my brain frozes at the sight of many numbers hahaha:( So, how you do it? Have you always liked Maths? I'm interested! ☺️

It's amazing to know that our birthdays are close to each other. My birthday is in July and it's also when the springs ends and summer begins. I'm a summer baby!! 🌞 What season do you like more? I used to love summer but where I live it's really really hot, it's unbearable but when it's winter it's too freaking cold, so I prefer autumn, always.

helloooooo! omg santa, you’re so sweet! please don’t worry abt the messages, i was too happy that i got two yesterday that i didn’t worry much abt getting one today, please don’t stress abt it! hopefully you’re not too stressed? if you even feel too tired just send an emoji and i’ll know, okay? no need to say more <3 but yes, i still missed you.

i’m good, today was eventful really except for some disciplinary matters that i had to deal with my students but nothing big. after worked i came home and watched a match from the world cup, then i read a fic and took a nap. do you like football? fics? naps? hehe. how was your day?

i’ve always been interested in maths and i think part of me being a teacher comes from the times i used to help my classmates with their exercises. i think we’re all good at math bc they’re literally everywhere. you don’t have to solve a quadratic equation to be good at maths, so i’m sure you’re excellent!

i’m so happy to know we both like pink and, what was the number we coincide on? it’s crazy but maybe it’s just something telling us that we’ll get along just fine!

oh, a summer baby! i think we’re in the same hemisphere then hehe. i think i always say fall is my fave season but where i live it’s always hot so there isn’t really a difference between seasons. i like the ~aesthetic though.

you can write and talk as much as you want to, please feel free! i love reading your thoughts. :) and to answer your questions; i’m definitely an introvert even if i talk a lot, but it takes some time for me to be totally comfortable sharing my thoughts hehe. i like both, but i lean towards cats bc i have one! he’s my most precious thing in the world! and a song that i remember listening and singing when i was a toddler was “what’s up?” by 4 non blondes. every time i listen to it, i get flashbacks. it’s not my fave song but i wouldn’t know how to pick one. do you have a fave song?

G's Productivity Challenge

Hello amores!

So, I've decided to start a productivity challenge.

Since I've always focused on self care along with academics, my challenge is going to be a balanced mix of both too.

Duration :

25th January'22 to 31st January'22. (initially i'm starting with a week. I'll definitely be extending it.)

1st February'22 to 28th February'22

Whenever anyone sees this post and wants to do this challenge, start with a week initially :)

Tasks :

Meditate and manifest for 10 minutes daily.

2. Study for at least 8 hours everyday.

- I prefer doing pomodoros (50/10 with long break after 4 sessions) usually but if I'm feeling exceptionally tired or distracted I do (27/3 with long break after 8 sessions.)

- Since I have to do three major subjects everyday I like to divide my study time into three blocks; chemistry -> biology -> physics.

If you're doing this challenge feel free to use your own study techniques; whatever you're more comfortable doing and keeps you productive.

3. Do a 10-30 minutes workout daily.

4. Eat at least one healthy meal once a day.

I've been on a diet for a couple of months. Speaking from my personal experience I feel so light and since I have to sit and study the whole day it is very helpful.

Honestly healthy meals are tasty asf ngl. They make you feel 😙.

Also I like cooking for myself so I make sure to atleast make one meal a day for myself. It is a stress buster for me. ( Make sure to clean the kitchen later tho lol. )

5. Do anyone thing that makes you extremely happy daily.

- It could be listening to songs, painting, talking to your friends or family, going out for a stroll, literally anything.

Before going to bed you must reflect on your whole day and ask yourself the following questions :

1. Am I satisfied with how I spent my day today?

2. Do I feel happy in this moment?

3. Where did I waste my time, if I did? How can I stop the leakage?

4. Is there something I could've done differently to make my day better, feel happier?

5. What are my goals for the next day?
