Before you could have called her a marine biologist, maybe a lover of nature. She was once a carefree doe, but even with all her graceful freedom, she couldn’t out run a bullet.

Neither could a hunter.

A hunter, fisher, and tracker by trade Hydie guts the things she once spent so much time admiring and studying. However, she’s after something more elusive than manatee, dolphins or whales: she wants a siren. A very specific siren.

Sirens are considered myths and fairytales in some waters, but not the ones she is navigating. Hydie used to have dreams of meeting one, maybe even having the pleasure of studying it up close.

Presently, she can count on one hand how many she has studied with the edge of her blade. Though her notes are scarce, there is one thing she breaths as she shatters their bones.

“It’s not real”

Sirens have the ability to wear the face of lost loved ones. Though their appearance is often a mockery, like a half finished clay mask, their voices rang true and clear. So, really, after the first couple times she should have gotten used hearing him scream. At least they could never replicate the sound from…

She’ll follow Motti on her quest. Foolish. Loyal. The red head needed a crew, and Hydie needed to sail dangerous waters. Maybe they will both find what they are looking for.

Perhaps, when it was finished, her captain will still have the same fire in her eyes. All Hydie can do is hope Motti is prepared for the kind of sea the ‘Black Fiend’ was sailing on.

Lex was right. Everyone had a past they were running from…

…but if Lex could stop putting hers down (booze bottles) on her notes that would be great. Hydie’s papers now had little condensation rings.

BOY, was Hastings having a gay panic or something??

I ship him with Poirot. Proudly and hardly. An OTP. Yesterday I was rewatching this episode and I found this dialog. The episode is “Double Sin” from Season 2, Chapter 6.

- “Why can’t you leave me alone?? Don’t you know what is like to love a man??”

(SHE was telling to Hastings. DIRECTLY. And Hastings’s doubting about his answer was simply, GAY PANIC)

- “Well, Ahh… No… Not exactly…” [points the car] “Sargent…”

I HAVE TO SAY Hastings’s response was a clearly doubt. The voice tone, the expression… EVERYTHING. I can’t stop thinking if he was thinking in Poirot at that moment. We all know here that Hastings is a true gentleman (Cause’ he actually is heheheh)

I was going to make a voice post so you could all hear the pain that I’m feeling right now, but I’m just going to post about it normally because I don’t want to expend that much energy on this horrible thing I just found on EBay (I don’t even want to link the listing, no one should purchase this).

Look at how terrible this figurine is of Mojo. Just… look.

“Bug,” you say, “This… he’s not that bad looking. This isn’t the worst Mojo Jojo figurine that’s ever been made. He doesn’t even have the elf ears! You hate those elf ears!” I thought the same things, friend. I thought, yeah, okay, he’s kind of gross looking, and the grey belt buckle was a sure sign that this is clearly based off of the 2016 reboot design. Awful, yes, but surely this isn’t the worst it could get. Surely they couldn’t make him uglier.

They did.

Every day as a Powerpuff Girls fan is… a struggle. Retailers hit the mark on these products SO rarely. This is ugly. Awful. Absolutely unpleasant to look at. In every way. The font in the top right is also atrocious. My bones feel broken. All of my cells are screaming. What fan would buy this? Would you buy this?

It is truly bad. It is a work of evil. They don’t even give him a gun as a prop. How could you not give him a gun? Maybe I’ve been looking at this the wrong way. Perhaps this is actually on-brand? Maybe they were trying to make something truly villainous? They succeeded. It hurts my heart. Congratulations toy company, if that was your intent all along.

There’s just something about them together that’s so intriguing and interesting to me. Cause they’re both characters who take care of others, often before themselves, and I kinda like the idea of them taking care of one another.

I also think they’d bump heads from time to time bc they’re so different but in the end they’d always come together.

Well as of last night I’ve finished my first dark urge run…. And I already miss my tav. 🥺

Like, I know I can just head canon and write fanfic about post campaign stuff but I’m still sad that their game is finished. (I mean, yes, I could start their game over but I’m trying not to do that.
