Summary: Around 1685, Francine Blaire travels from Barbados to her aunt’s family in Wethersfield, Connecticut. Wethersfield, a Puritan, cold and strict town at the time, teaches and matures Francine’s lifestyle, also sparking her love and daring courage. Adding to the mix, confused and troubled love affairs and the start of a warm friendship that comes with daring and unpleasant consequences.
Warnings: brief mention and use of the term “slaves”, harsh words and behaviors that are appropriate for the lifestyle at the time, Christianity, false accusations of witchcraft, and until then I’m not too sure but I’ll add as the storyline progresses.

Notes: This story focuses more on this young girl, and teaching not only her but also the audience to stand up for yourself, what’s right, and to think for the better benefits when making decisions. This is an Elvis fic, but he’s more of minor character. Speaking of E.P, he’s around 19-20 here, thought I’m imagining him looking as he did in the army, especially in uniform. It suits his character I have prepped for him.
My sweet inspirations: I thank and give credit to both lovely writers, @precious-lil-scoundrel and @starryschoolgirl. Their beautiful writings and masterpieces have sparked someone in me to dig deeper into history, and prompt me to write “Buttered and Sweet Bread.”
I got my best friend to go to comic con with me!! Let’s goooooo! I’m already scheduling our celeb photo ops! Dee Bradley Baker for me and she wants to see Holly Marie Combs! This is gonna be so much fun
This looks like a poster for kdrama, but yeaaah can't wait for another healing session (also imagine Jimin being petty to watch his soulmate had a trip without him).
Lmaoooo it really does! I love it. Hey Tae, your friends are hot! (Poor Jimin lol)
genuinely stunned at the fantastic choice for Percy not to pray to his absent and unknown father—like he did in the books—but to his mother.
the show is really taking us to one of riordan’s central theses straight off the bat.
parenthood isn’t about power and legacy and the recognition of shared blood.
It’s about the incredible act of showing up for your child—again and again and a-fucking-gain. That’s how you inspire respect. That’s how you become a child’s patron and beloved god.
Being a “Fun Fact !” kind of autistic is all fun and games until you get halfway through sharing an interesting tidbit and realize that it probably wasn’t appropriate to share in polite company and now you have to deal with the consequences :(
I can’t remember what Athena’s reasoning for not liking Percy was in the books (was is that he’s Poseidon kid? or that he wasn’t good enough for annabeth??) but show Athena is gonna HATE Percy for basically corrupting her daughter and helping her go from the perfect little soldier she wanted into a an independent/free thinker
Last year I got ahold of the arcade PCB for a game called Biohazard: Gun survivor 2 Code Veronica. I’ve always wanted to play this game, so I decided to build the rest of the arcade cabinet.
It’s been a while, but I have an update!
The game runs!!! I still have to build out all the controls for the game, and a physical cabinet to house the game, but it runs!!!!!
