"Oh, wow! So you're the one who has helped turn the tides of the town.. and you aren't even a monster! How fascinating!"

I made a render of the new self-insert I mentioned a couple of days ago, now that I've finally designed and constructed a reference model for her! This is Fioritura, or just Fiori for short - she's a siren inhabiting the waters around the town of Crop Haven, specifically being sighted near to the castle, for some reason. That "some reason" may or may not be a certain human servant who arrives there in the second year.. who knows?~

This render was quite tricky to get right, to the point that I actually had to try it twice with a different set of effects - but I was quite happy with how it turned out in the end. I hope it's therefore alright to use my tag list for this, even though it isn't explicitly a selfship render!

I also made a little mockup character reference for Fiori in the style of the ones on the wiki for the actual in-game characters, which is here under the readmore:

(Fiori doesn't like being gifted fish because.. she lives underwater. She can already get fish by herself. Conversely, things she can't get by herself that are from above the water are things that she finds much more interesting!)

What are your favorite cow breeds?

SO i've answered this question before BUT i want to answer it again but my opinion have slightly changed i love literally all bovines. they're such a neat type of animal that come in sooo so many shapes and sizes with the connecting factor being incredibly cute and big all across the board. thhhat being said, i'd say that jersey / holstein cows are still pretty close to the top of my list in faves. jerseys are just. gonjus. pretty pretty shades of brown / orange and decently docile temperaments. also very common around where i live so bonus points for being a type of cow i've interacted with

holstiens are your Average Black and White cow ! equally pretty and make up about 90% of cow breeds in the US. they've been around for almost 2,000 years and i can not stress ENOUGH how much of a weak spot i have for animals that have cute pink noses. big big babies ;u; also a cow i have Experience With because i'm in da midwest, so i can drive about 20 mins in any direction and come upon these guys

(also only partially related; don't cows just have such kind eyes?? such a warm and soulful animal everytime i look at pics like this i want to kiss them on the tall forehead.) so, those answers are the same as last time. BUT. but. i want to take this post to direct everyone's attention to zebu cattle. because they're absolutely beautiful and interesting and underrated imo. Feast your eyes on this Beast

Thinking about how Jessica pulling Sam into a kiss, and him immediately holding her face. The two holding each other closely, where the world seemingly fades away for both of them. She's everything to Sam, it's obvious and beautiful. And it was taken away all to soon, all too sudden.

Heyo 👋 (Hiatus Update)

Hey! I'm still on my hiatus and probably won't be back for another week or so- no real dates or promises but more a vibe-but I wanted to pop in and give y'all a little update since my hiatus post.

I'm better, though not great- but I'm getting there. To be honest, it's kinda difficult to make this little update, and I'm not even going into details about anything, hehe.

The biggest thing I wanted to say is a huge, huge thank you to everyone. Your condolences and messages really helped me get through this, and while I'm still processing it all, I'm beyond grateful to y'all. My heart goes out to those who've lost someone beloved as well; be it a pet or a person- my heart goes out to you and your loved ones through these difficult times.

(God, and I thought 2020 was bad! /hj)

I think I'm gonna try coming back sometime in September/October? No promises but I think I'll be okay enough to return around then. How I feel upon posting this will be my deciding factor lols. I did finish the last few days of Tickletober (yay! :D) so that's something to look forward to, and I updated my Fluffy Forecast (even if I'm not on, I'll still update it for y'all- it gives me something to do, you know?)

Writing wise is still...hesitant. Some fandoms like Spy x Family and Buddy Daddies might be on the backburner due to recent events (that said, please don't be afraid to send prompts/requests in for them; I just likely won't be touching them for a hot minute), but besides that I'm slowly getting back into writing and creating again. My dad wouldn't want me to give up on my passions and life in his passing; he raised me to be strong, and I'm gonna do that for him.
