GOD
WHAT IS YOUR ISSUE.
WHAT IS THE PROBLEM.
even Nate is flabbergasted and that says a lot because he's never flabbergasted
Russell either always looks insanely irritated or insanely 'head empty.' there's either pure hatred and anger going on through this boy's head or he's completely blank. completely absent. absolutely nothing. or terror, but that comes with the free Nate he got
asswipe ain't got any manners. mom of asswipe didn't teach him any manners. istg everytime i look up and see this kid's face there's a vine boom that plays throughout my head

Hello. I’m star, she/her, and welcome to the John Walker Hate Account
originally, I started this on Quotev where I’m still around, but everybody left so here I am to be Silly. I started off just hating John walker So much when tfatws came out that I made a whole account, and it extended out to the other marvel shows that came around the same time (Loki and wandavision and Hawkeye). I got in a whole bunch of fun arguments and it was a blast. I too became the biggest Sam Wilson fan account on Quotev alongside my hate for John walker.
I’ve been away from the mcu for awhile, but guess who may even make further appearances 👀 I have college though so I’m pretty busy!!! Hmu with anything silly or whatever serious opinion you stand by. I love to debate.
I've been around a long time so everything is funny to me now. Im and adult btw but that doesn't actually matter here
OBVIOUS DISCLAIMER: no I don't hate anybodies actors or genuinely get upset over stupid discourse. I respect Wyatt Russel's acting immensely because he made John Walker so fucking hatable.
Also no I dont hate ofmd I actually dont care im just old.
Peace out!?

honestly getting a lift at her age looks better than getting filler constantly over years
yeah fillers are such a scam i've never liked them, especially the way they were pushed as if they would give the result of implants or lifts. the way people said they're temporary and reversible was such a lie as well like lip filler is still showing up on MRIs years after injection, just migrated completely out of the lip line. and a lot of doctors know that and they know the damage and distortion that chronic filler use can do to the face in the long run but they do it anyway because they finally figured out how to make people pay for cosmetic enhancement on a subscription plan. people end up paying the cost of a lift over years but for a worse result. a lift is buying a house, fillers are renting the house for years and then getting kicked out.
and the thing is we know blake's no stranger to surgery like getting her nose done was a huge turning point in her career and i think she's savvy enough to go the surgery route again. it's sort of similar to how courtney love's first and second rhinoplasties boosted her career and she got a lift at 35 (blake's current age!) because goldie hawn told her it's better to do it at that age rather than later. i feel like blake either got similar advice from someone or she just knows from observing other people's careers that even though surgery is more invasive it gives more dependable results and is a better long game strategy.
she'll end up very obviously surged but in that way that people arbitrarily deem acceptable and "tasteful" and bozos who don't know shit about cosmetic surgery will say she's "ageing gracefully/naturally"
honestly i see her eventually joining the ranks of like christie brinkley or brooke shields where she'll be a real housewives level of augmented but won't have the real housewives rep. i wouldn't be too surprised if she parlays her acting career and general public goodwill into something bigger and more lucrative in the future and become some kind of mogul or like a pseudo-goop, beachier, more "down to earth/relatable" author or homewares peddler like a cross between a more tolerable/successful chrissy teigen and some kind of milf martha stewart.
she knows she and ryan can be irl ken and barbie to basic people for decades to come and i think she's smart enough to make it happen. he's the "funny" comic book hero and she's the girl next door turned bombshell and at least one of their 4 kids is gonna be a nepo baby actor in the coming decades for SURE.
hollywood is a horrific nightmare dystopia but if blake follows goldie hawn's advice, she and ryan can be goldie+kurt 2.0 only richer and more consistently famous, and one of their daughters will be kate hudson 2.0 and if they have a son he'll be wyatt russell. i can definitely see two nepo baby siblings working in hollywood with different last names.
i mean her husband's a marvel drone and she announced the birth of her 4th baby on insta on superbowl sunday. she's gonna slay this whole faux relatable, "all american" (UGH) butterscotch blonde hollywood dynasty thing. she's just darksided enough to pull it off. if anyone was actually as good, charming, nice and down to earth as they portray themselves to be they wouldn't thrive in hollywood and would either leave or get eaten alive. you have to be at least somewhat evil to make it in the way they've made it and will continue to make it. it's all very calculated and fascinating in a grotesque way.
they've bonded with hollywood like it's the T-virus and there are some very interesting mutations to come!

Z3 thoughts under the cut, because spoilers.
tl,dr - It was fun, but Z2 remains my favourite.
I think my main problem was that it felt really rushed. Like, if we'd had another half an hour on the runtime, there might have been room for all of the characters and plotlines to breathe a bit more.
They tried to do a lot of things, but it meant that most of them got wrapped up within like 10 minutes of being introduced, which took a lot of the tension out of it.
Oh no, A-spen likes Zed! Oh never mind, they've moved on already.
Oh no, Zed screwed up with the college scout! Oh never mind, he got a second chance. (They did this one twice!)
Oh no, Addison's left the planet! Oh never mind, she's back already.
Like, I get it, there's like 9 main characters now with the aliens, and only an hour and a half to tell a complete story, but it was a lot. Maybe they could have trimmed some of it down - like the whole Wyatt/Eliza plot (which other people have already dissected enough anyway) could have been dropped (as much as I'd wanted my wolfy boi to get a plotline).
Also I know Kylee Russell was pregnant, but Robo-Eliza did not do anything for me. I thought she might turn up for the final dance or something but she was still missing, so it just felt kind of weird.
They also fall into the whole 'these plots could be resolved if we just had a conversation' trap a hell of a lot without much justification.
Why can't the aliens tell everyone that they need to borrow the most precious thing?
Why can't the werewolves tell everyone that the aliens lied without it turning into a witch hunt?
Why can't Bucky just go away? Okay, that one's more on me. He was toned down a lot for this one at least, and he did have some fun parts (mindwiping himself on a loop is exactly the stupidity I'd expect from him), but he's been a stagnant character since like Z1 at this point since they never really completed his whole hating change arc, so they could have cut back on him in favour of some of the other stuff.
The songs I liked, though they do get a bit less memorable as we go along. I don't know if it's because they released Alien Invasion beforehand so I was more familiar with it, but that one seemed the most well-put-together. Ain't No Doubt About it had some neat choreo, but it's kind of flat for a song except the bit for the aliens midway through.
Exceptional Zed and the reprise were great, as was Come On Out (though the werewolves' numbers in Z2 were still better).
Nothin' But Love was nice, but it felt a bit toothless, especially compared to One For All at the end of Z2. Even Finally Me just felt like a bit of a cheap rehash of Stand from Z1.
And nothing is ever going to touch Flesh & Bone, I don't think. That song's just *chef's kiss* in terms of lyrics, message, and impact.
I will say that the Someday reprise made me tear up. I knew they were going to do it, but I didn't know how, and getting everyone involved was a great way to do it.
Maybe it's just because the message in Z2 was so strong, it makes Z3 look weaker? Or maybe it's just too scattershot to really nail anything as well as it did in the last movie.
In terms of the actual plot, I think most of us guessed how it was going to go re: Addison being an alien, and Seabrook being the Utopia that the aliens were looking for. The National Cheer Competition was alright, as were Zed's college pressures.
It still made me laugh a lot though - most of the dialogue is pretty snappy, and the callbacks and rehashes of previous jokes never get old (like Addison whalloping Zed).
I did like that they managed to give all three aliens a distinct feel to them without trying too hard, which was something they kind of failed to do with the werewolves in the last movie. Wyatt was the nice one, Willa was the focused one, and Wynter was the overeager one, whereas the three aliens felt a bit more fleshed out right off the bat. Also, RuPaul as the (call me) Mothership was perfect casting.
So yeah, it was still a fun movie. It just didn't really hit the notes the same way the second one did for me.

Okay, so all of you’ve seen me spamming gifsets about Under the Banner of Heaven and if you’re thinking about watching it...
well, incoming ramble under cut :)
Under the Banner of Heaven is based on a book by Jon Krakauer, which is based off of the real life events of Brenda and Erica Lafferty’s murders in 1984. This mini series is indeed true crime and finding the murderers of the Laffertys, but it also goes deeper into Mormonism and the LDS (Latter Day Saints) Church and the diverging of fundamentalist Mormonism from mainstream Mormonism. I myself am not one for true crime, but I was immediately hooked into this show from the very start. I had anticipated the shows as it stars one of my favorite actors (Andrew Garfield) and of course my all time favorite Seth Numrich. Right off the bat I knew this was going to be a deeply introspective and high quality piece as Andrew Garfield always takes on projects that tell a story that needs to be exposed to the world, he himself saying that he always wants his work to mean something.
As always, Andrew Garfield goes above and beyond with his acting. It is so nuanced and realistic, right down to the little quirks in his movements and the ways his eyes can say so much in one frame. He has so much passion for what he does and it bleeds into his acting and through the screen. The show is set in a predomaintly LDS, white community in Utah and it does such a good job setting up the exposition as it shows Jeb (Andrew Garfield) with his family (literally made my heart melt into goo). Fast forward a little and we start to see some flashbacks, the overall cinematography changing from dark cool tones with warm yellow tones to show the contrast of mood and time. This is where we get to see some amazing actors like Wyatt Russell (I first discovered him in the Falcon and Winter Solider Disney+ series) who is so talented (though you hate his character most of the time) and becomes integral to the plot later. And of course, Seth Numrich, who turns out to have a lot of screen time and a big part of the plot, flashbacks and present time.
The whole mood throughout is suspenseful and menacing, and you can tell there’s something going on but you just can’t put your finger on it. The performances that are delivered are insanely incredible, I cannot even put it in words how stunning and powerful they are. The way Andrew’s character is affected by this case as an unquestioning, faithful LDS Mormon himself is so nuanced and with precise yet noticeable acting. I also love the way that the suspects of this case are starting to open Jeb’s eyes about his faith, some of their circumstances relating to conflicts he’s facing in his own personal life and getting him to question ideals that he’s been following from the womb. It was also such a pleasure to watch Seth do something new on screen as he’s been working within the theatre industry more then film/tv, and it reminds me how talented and spectacular of an actor he is. He has one or two monologues which has sent shivers down my spine with this authenticity and power.  Every look and word has so much meaning behind it, and his character is so drastically different from flashbacks to present time, it’s amazing to see the difference in Seth’s portrayal, using his body language to present the un picture things his character has gone through due to time.
In terms of how the religion is handled...Well, hang in there :)
Growing up in a religious household with a family that practiced the same religion, I never saw religion in the media (film, tv, books, anything I consumed), and even though I am not Mormon, watching actors I respect pray and worship God on TV is something I never knew I needed. Personally, I feel like being religious is looked down upon in society, but in your church you’re expected to be super outwardly religious all the time. Seeing prayer and worship be so normalized on screen in every day life felt like I was being seen and that the high or uncomfortable expectations of the church was not as “weird”, and that it really surprised me since I’m not extremely religious.
The series handles the religion with reverence and so much respect, and since I knew little to nothing about Mormonism before this, it seemed to go a good job laying basic groundwork about how it works. Mormons have a complicated history dating to the late eighteenth century as they were prosecuted and hunted, and I had no idea. I researched some more and I found that ex Mormons who watched the show were shocked at how realistic and and true it was to their faith without bringing mis-concepted ideas or stereotypes. I found that even though the show is shedding light onto the bad side of Mormonism, I found that the religion isn’t portrayed just negatively. The joy in the scenes where families are harmonious and happy, sort of normalizing incorporating religion into their lives (which is what small child chlo would have loved to see). I also recognize the misogyny and the diminishing of womens’ identities, and how they are reduced to someone only to support and help their husband. It is crazy to see that some of that happened into the eighties and on even after working, independent, strong women were normalized. It also brings to mind how this is still going on all over the world and how it could be in our own backyards without knowing.
Only three episodes have been released and I’ve already fallen in love with every aspect of this series. If you’re considering watching this show, I highly encourage it is very educational with good representative with stunning performances from every single actor on screen. If you made it all the way to here, I applaud you for reading my rant and I give you a medal for actually listening to me <3
If you watch it, please please please don’t hesitate to come yell at me about it!

under the banner of heaven
i just finished the second episode of Under The Banner of Heaven and... i have a lot of feelings about it lol. i honestly don't know how to explain them or anything though. it's just a lot.
one thing i will say though is that i think i would like it better if i didn't know any of the actors. i know quite a few of them, and i love them, i really do, but i can't stop seeing them as actors or as other characters i've seen them as (like, i can't stop seeing Andrew Garfield as Andrew Garfield, or Wyatt Russell as John Walker from Marvel). i just think it would make it more realistic for me if i didn't know any of them

Goldie Hawn reveals why relationship with Kurt Russell works: 'Why should we get married?'
After 40 years together, actors Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell remain uninterested in marriage.
"Why should we get married? Isn't that a better question?" the Oscar-winning actress said last week on CNN's "Who's Talking to Chris Wallace?"
Russell, 72, and Hawn, 77, met more than 50 years ago and have been an item since the 1980s. Though they sparked marriage rumors in 1989 when Russell seemed to propose to Hawn while presenting at the Academy Awards, the two have not tied the knot.
"Because we have been married and because when it doesn't work out it ends up to be a big business. Somebody has to own something. It's always ugly," said Hawn, who had two marriages before entering her relationship with Russell, who was married once prior.
Tumblr media
"Somebody has to actually take a look and say, 'How many divorces are fun? How many divorces actually don't cost money? How many divorces make you even hate the person more than you did before? How many divorces have hurt children?'" she added.
Hawn and Russell remain together because they choose to stay together every day, she told host Chris Wallace.
"I like the idea that I can wake up in the morning and make decisions every day if I want to be here," she said. "Ultimately, staying independent with independent thinking is important. So you can hold on to yourself and you're going to actually have that feeling."
In 2016, Hawn said on the British daytime talk show "Loose Women" that she believes being together "68% of the time" is ideal.
"I would've been long divorced if I'd been married," she said.
Russell and Hawn share one son, 37-year-old actor Wyatt Russell. The two also have children from their previous marriages: Oliver, 46, and Kate Hudson, 44, who were born out of Hawn's marriage with ex-husband Bill Hudson, and Boston Russell, who is Russell's son with Season Hubley.
"About 10 years into our relationship, we asked the kids, 'Do you want us to get married?' And they went, 'No!'" Hawn said at the time. "They love it. It was perfect the way it is; they didn't want any more trouble. They wanted us to be not married."

My time to shine lmao
Black Ops Cold War Character Sexuality Headcanons
Our opinions might not match but let's all be civil to each other! We're all a big lovely family 😭🖤
NATO
Russell Adler : Bisexual, preference for men, especially after his divorce. He felt like a relationship with a woman wasn't what he truly desired.
John Baker : Closeted Homosexual. His family was most likely full of stereotypes so he tried to swallow his true desires.
Lawrence Sims : Pan. Big Pan Vibes. Probably trying to get Baker to come out as well.
Lazar Azouley : Heterosexual, huge LGBT supporter
Helen Park : Bisexual, preference for women yet Lazar's an exception.
Jason Hudson : Probably Pan but won't admit anything. He's a big mystery
Alex Mason : Bi, had no idea until Vorkuta and well, Woods later on
Frank Woods : Bi, figured it out during his early military days. Loves Alex Mason with all his heart and soul but never truly admitted it, afraid he might ruin their friendship
Grigori Weaver : Bi, loves men and women and supports everyone. Grigori my beloved
Dimitri Belikov : Probably Asexual but supports everyone with love, affection and hugs
Zeyna Ossou : Heterosexual, yet not really looking for a relationship. Loves only Formula One and other race cars. Okay, maybe Bulldozer too.
Wyatt "Bulldozer" Jones : Bi, preference to women, extremely cute and sweet to everyone.
Samantha Maxis : Not sure, I think Bisexual with a preference to women
Raptor One : Bisexual, preference to men and a certain Grigori Weaver.
Kwan Song : Heterosexual, is cute, loves everyone equally.
Jason Hunter : Heterosexual, supports everyone.
Warsaw Pact
Vikhor "Stitch" Kuzmin : Big bi energy. Had no idea the desire for men existed until his first days in rebirth but now, especially after the gulag, acknowledges and embraces it.
Kapano "Naga" Vang : Slightly asexual, probably extremely horny though. Has a crush on Stitch and isn't afraid to flirt. Kapano my beloved.
Maxim Antonov : Bisexual, no preference, definitely had a relationship with a man during his Mafia days probably avoided it during his Spetsnaz time. Likes Portnova, Stitch and Beck probably try to get them together.
Ingo Beck : Gay. Big Gay. Currently crushing on a certain guy wearing a sock in his head and a heavy British accent
Harry Stone : Bisexual, had no idea. Used to like Helen Park, now has shifted his attention to a certain German. Make me proud Harry, ily
Yirina Portnova : Heterosexual, big LGBT stan, probably Beck's wingwoman. He'd do the same for her.

April 2021 Picks
Tumblr media
And we’re back with the end to another month. April! Wow! Lots more great picks to talk about this time. Lots of new ones to the list too. So, let’s dive in!
Spoiler territory ahead!
Tumblr media
THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER
or should I say Captain America and the Winter Soldier
I just finished the finale last night, so it felt right to start off with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. I really enjoyed it and I feel the episodes got stronger as the series went on. Each one felt like a mini-movie and I was upset it was over and had to wait another week for another one. I think the finale was my favorite. Especially the reveal of Sam as Captain America. I love his suit, his speech and the montage of everyone watching him. The last part of the episode was definitely my favorite and one I can watch on repeat. I loved seeing happy Bucky and him goofing off with the kids in Louisiana. He deserves so much happiness as he has now accepted he’s no longer who he once was. Bucky and Sam’s relationship is fantastic and I can’t wait to see it more. I know there’s a possibility of a second season and they have to be in a future MCU movie. Regarding the villain, I feel I was confused for most of the show as to what their objective was. I’m curious if this is because they had to reshoot parts during the pandemic. I also am mad with Sharon. Like what happened with her? She is definitely the true villain of the show. I also don’t love that we haven’t seen the end of Walker (but Wyatt Russell did a fantastic job). I also loved Torres and I hope he becomes the next Falcon. Definitely so different vibes from Wandavision, but just as good!
Tumblr media
THE IRREGULARS
This is a show that more people need to be talking about! It was SO GOOD! I feel like I heard some buzz about it when it first came out, but not much after. It follows the teens featured about who live on the streets during Victorian London. The leader of their group, Bea gets approached by Dr. John Watson (that’s right...as in Sherlock and Watson) to take on a case that has more supernatural qualities. The story takes off from there. I think the group dynamic was fantastic. There wasn’t a character I didn’t like and each one brought something else important to the group (which they even bring up towards the end of the show). [I’ve watched a few cast interviews since finishing the finale and they seem like they get along really well in real life too.] There is a kind of love triangle, but it didn’t bother me and was over fast. I did like both combinations though. Lots of twists and turns along the journey. I have no idea if there will be another season, but there should be. It didn’t end on a major cliffhanger, but definitely ended in a way where it could continue nicely. Come on Netflix.
Tumblr media
HBO’S THE NEVERS
From one show set in Victorian times to the next. The Nevers just premiered on HBO and HBO Max earlier this month. It follows an ensemble of characters, similar to other HBO shows, ranging from characters who are called “the touched” to men in government who are against them. Being “touched” means they have a special talent or power, which can range from healing to speaking other languages, being extremely tall, or being an expectational inventor (I seriously love Penance. I just don’t know how to explain her ability). Amalia True and Penance Adair are two of the main characters and they help bring in others who are touched to a remodeled orphanage that is a safe haven for people like them. Of course there are those who are against them existing. This seems to be at least two groups as someone is abducting and experimenting on some of the touched, but we don’t know who they are...yet. I love the fusion of a historical setting with a fantasy element. I am very excited to see where the show is headed. I also love seeing so many of my favorite British actors on the screen together.
Tumblr media
ONCE UPON A TIME IN WONDERLAND
Time for a throw back. Fans of ABC’s Once Upon a Time might remember the short lived spin off following Alice in Wonderland (and some of Aladdin). It only lasted for one season of 13 episodes, but I remember loving it and I am so happy I can rewatch it on Disney Plus. It reminds me of why I enjoyed OUAT so much and I think this show deserved another season or more crossover with the original show. (Luckily the Knave got that opportunity.) I think it should have aired as a summer show or when OUAT was on hiatus, this way more fans would have tuned in. It is something I’ll believe forever.
Anyway, I’ll stop ranting now... I love Alice. I think she’s a badass and a fierce warrior. If you follow some of my posts on my other blog, Lydia-yougowith-Stiles, you’ll know that I love a warrior romance and Cyrus and Alice fit that perfectly (even if they are apart for much of the series). I also love Alice’s hair and outfits. Everything about her is cool. Her relationship with the Knave is one of my favorite friendships ever. I think they balance each other out so well and how they spend most of the journey together. Back in the day, I totally shipped them, but now I definitely don’t. (Even though I don’t love Anastasia.) This is definitely worth the watch if you’ve ever heard of Once Upon a Time or not. There is very cheesy CGI especially for 2013, but once you get pass that you’ll love it.
Tumblr media
ZOEY’S EXTRAORDINARY PLAYLIST
It was on a longer break than I expected, and I didn’t miss it as much as I thought I would (which I know doesn’t sound good for a show), but I am still loving all the episodes this season. It feels like there are more musical numbers, which I love. Mandy Moore is killing it with the choreography. There are so many amazing moments. I also was a big fan of the newest glitch episode. Everyone is so talented and I also like that we’ve started to hear from more like Jenna and Tobin. Leif has become one of my favorites. I don’t love the new neighbor next door, but I think we’re done with his storyline. I’m not loving the Zoey love triangle, but I do like her with either Simon or Max. She seems really happy with Simon now. (FYI: I haven’t watched the most recent episode yet. The glitch one was my latest.) Can’t wait for more!
Tumblr media
KUNG FU
CW’s newest show this month was Kung Fu, which I just learned was a reboot. It follows Nicky who returns after 3 years to her home in San Francisco. Her family has mixed feelings as she has had no contact with them for the last 3 years. She is now a Kung Fu master and warrior, out to avenge her mentor’s death and stop a villain from acquiring mythical weapons. The show gives me Arrow vibes every time I watch it. It has similar flashbacks each episode to an earlier time in Nicky’s life. While Nicky’s mission is different, the style just gives me early seasons of Arrow vibes, which I am not complaining about. It stars Legacies’ Alyssa Chen, who I didn’t love on Legacies, but instantly fell in love with Nicky. I think she’s a bad ass character and love how she’s fighting for the underdogs on the streets of San Fran, while also taking down a bigger evil. The love triangle is heating up and I’m definitely team Henry (even though there’s some mystery there). I think he’s great and once again we have an awesome warrior romance. They balance each other so well and it’s only been like 3 episodes. Now they’ve also been sleuthing together and it’s just amazing.

NANCY DREW
Are you sick of hearing me talk about CW’s Nancy Drew? I hope not because I’m going to fangirl again. I LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH! I can’t wait till Wednesday comes and I tune in a little after it starts, so then I can fast forward on my DVR. Then when the episode is over I basically start it all over again and watch select scenes that were awesome. (More specifically, they tend to be Nancy and Ace scenes because I love them and we’re entering so much angst I don’t know if my heart will be able to handle it!!!)
I’ll say it a thousand times: THIS CAST IS EVERYTHING! Their dynamic is amazing. You can have any match ups and it’ll be a great time. There is not one person I don’t like. I was so upset that there wasn’t a new episode last week (especially because it was my birthday). I loved the last one with the Hardy Boys and that Nace reveal! OMG! I’m so sad that Grant has left again because we barely had him, but I feel he’ll eventually come back. He has to. I loved the ending when he spoke to Thom by signing to him. (My heart!) I seriously can’t say enough great things about this show. It is not your typical CW show and deserves more love and views. So happy a third season has already been confirmed!!
LAST NOTES
Just started Shadow and Bone on Netflix and am loving it! I’m sure I’ll have an entire post dedicated to it when I’m done. (Currently going to start episode 6.) I have no background on the universe or the books (just what my sister is filling me in with as we watch). I definitely plan on reading Six of Crows after this!

So what are you enjoying? Let me know. I’m always looking for more shows to add to the list! Can never have enough.
