Giro creativo: la tensión de los hechos se contrarresta con unos subtítulos caracterizados por su humor absurdo y, lo que es más importante a efectos de la campaña, presentados a un tamaño con el que una persona con visión normal debería leerlos sin problema.

"Hey, listen to the donut song Uncle Max just made up!"
(See the spot here: https://www.shootonline.com/video/leo-burnett-director-henry-alex-rubin-beacon-street-studios-unbox%C2%A0-holidays-dunkin)
This commercial was released in early November, but I just now saw it.
Visually, it's a basic vignette spot. And we've even seen the camera looking up out of a box in a holiday ad before.
But the song – THE SONG. What a great song!
Jingles are a proven way to strengthen your message and make an emotional connection, yet I think they're underused these days.
And this jingle is wonderfully charming.
The world's got you feeling glazed over
Sprinkle some love all around
Just climb your way up outta that hole
And you'll be the taste of the town
Grab the one thing that everyone's lovin'
And as it happens they come by the dozen
Everybody loves a donut
But what makes the song especially charming to me is the performance. A simple piano and an unpolished, old-sounding voice – as if your great uncle was messing around on the upright in the family room. Not Michael Bublé and a big band. Not someone from the the top of this week's Hip Hop charts.
Dunkin', I'll give you some free advice:
Run this song on radio and streaming audio. A lot.
Make a 3-minute version and post it on Spotify for free
Don't wait ’til next Christmas to do this again. Do versions for different seasons of the year. Keep the same voice and piano.
You're welcome.

Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Baby Driver) dirigió esta publicidad de McDonald's diseñada por Leo Burnett. El spot nunca muestra la comida. ¿Quizás conscientes de que ese ya no es un atributo de venta? (vía The Drum).
New McDonald’s ad doesn’t show its restaurants or any of its food.
