May I present to you Sparkly Mario and Luigi! 😍❤️✨💚✨
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
These were part of a kids show that took place this afternoon at a department store from my town. They have this massive Christmas bow decoration on top of the building, and every year they host a show for kids, along with fireworks and other surprises, and this year the kids show was about Super Mario Bros. and it was the cutest shit 💖
The story is simple: everyone in the Mushroom Kingdom is getting ready for Christmas, until Bowser steals the Christmas Star, and without it, Santa Claus won't be able to see his way and no one will get their gifts, so Mario, Luigi and their friends must stop Bowser and retrieve the star.
They eventually manage to capture Bowser, just when Santa arrives where they are. The King of the Koopas reveals that he stole the star in revenge because since he was a kid, he always waited for Santa, but the latter never arrived; this was because Bowser has always been in the Naughty List due to his actions always endangering others, but this time Santa reveals that someone sent him a letter talking nice things about Bowser, and asking Santa to give him a gift this year. So Santa gives Bowser a cute microphone because he loves singing (like in the movie, lol), so Bowser thanks him. The twist? It was Luigi! It was freakin' Luigi the one who sent Santa the letter saying all of that nice shit about Bowser! It was him who sacrificed his right to a gift so Bowser could get one of his own this Christmas! And what does Bowser do when he learns this? JUST LOOK!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
THEY HUGGED! These people knew what they were doing, hahahaha 😍😍😍🥹💚
Tumblr media
Look at how happy my boi is after his good deed 🥹💚💚💚💚💚 He deserved the world.
Oh! And this has to be my favorite picture from the show:
Tumblr media
The actor wearing the costume made sure to make Luigi extra cute for this show (and he was the one with the best dance moves too.) I also love how it looks as if Bowser is looking at Luigi with a huge smile. Everything in this picture is so cute and perfect 😍🥹💚✨💚✨💚✨
Tumblr only allows to post 10 pics at a time, and I have more of these that I couldn't post, so if you want to see them, you can DM me... Or I could just simply make another post, haha 😜

Controversial SPM Chapter 1 opinion.
I feel like this is what Lineland should've looked like;
Tumblr media
Now don't get me wrong I love the og green fields, they are cute and pretty but all the other areas in game are clearly based (not always to the same degree) on the colour of the Pure Heart you previously aquire and it so happens that the first door is red. I think it would've been charming to make the leaves red as well, like the ones on maple trees! And while at it just generally make the hue warmer overall. I'd say it makes it a little more memorable (PERSONALLY).
Tumblr media
There's even a red tree in game already, in THE SAME CHAPTER as well (!), so it's not such a far-fetched concept technically speaking. And while red would be the common leaf colour, the special palm tree could be green in turn, for example. This wouldn't really be necessary though because it's fine the way is too (since it's in a separate section of the world) It could also be a reference to Luigi being the special one here.
Tumblr media
Like I mentioned in the beginning this is just a thought that crossed my mind while thinking of area design in the game.
Thanks for coming to my ted talk before mauling me for this please form a queue.

Large Luigi, from D&D.
So. There's a LOT to unpack here.
Pros: - he is large and has thick skin, and abberation blood probably isn't even that enticing (beholders are essentially D&D's shoggoths) - His central eye emanates antimagic. Would that make the undead become temporarily dead? Would they not be able to use their powers? i have no clue - His eyestalks shoot various beams. The most helpful are probably Charm and Disintegrate - He is an accomplished chef - He literally is the supernatural - He does not need to shave
Cons: - he could not wear the crucifix, as he has no neck - he may be too much of a cinnamon roll too good for this world too pure to entertain the Rich Jerk
Excuse me
Nononono you come back here you can't just tell me there's a frickin BEHOLDER called Large Luigi who is both apparently Good aligned and an accomplished chef in... "DnD." Like. WTF. Also you are going to have to be waaaaaaay more specific there is a lot of DnD out there. Is this the day they let Eliot Spencer DM like what is happening.
I think I love him.
The question of whether vampirism is magic in the novel is a complicated one which came up with the Superman ask as well, especially by DnD mechanics. I want to say that if such a distinction exists, vampirism is a spiritual/metaphysical condition, rather than a strictly magical. Some systems draw distinction between magical effects and divine effects, although DnD kinda doesn't - Clerics use spells and things, just like Wizards. Eh? But if an anti-magic field won't automatically disanimate a zombie which I believe it will not - it's nor Free Turn Undead (I don't think??) - then it shouldn't have such an effect on Dracula either.
You know this question has an answer. There's vampires in DnD. Heck, there's Dracula in DnD. Someone go run Curse of Strahd with Large Luigi in it real quick and tell me what happens.
At the very least an anti-magic beam should disrupt Dracula's use of Scholomancy, because Dracula isn't just a vampire, he's also an Evil Wizard who majored in vampirism at Evil Wizard College.
If it came to a fight, I don't think they'd be able to do much to each other. Dracula's saving throws are pretty incredible, so he's not getting charmed or disintegrated. Without magic though, I don't think there's much Dracula can do that would have much effect on a Beholder. Gonna throw a wolf at his eye?? What???
If it comes to escape, I doubt Large Luigi can fit out the window. And the big doors are locked. On the other hand, even several inches of solid oak and iron are probably no match for a disintegration beam. If the situation becomes intolerable, he can probably break down the door and leave.
But you tell me Large Luigi is a cinnamon roll and also a chef. Dracula needs a chef, and he loves tormenting the pure of heart. (The two victims he chooses for himself in the novel are incidentally also the sweetest cinnamon rolls in the cast). Jonathan is sure he has no human servants inside the Castle ... but maybe he keeps Large Luigi and Undead Amelia Bedelia as kitchen staff. How well can Large Luigi roast a chicken? How does he feel about Evangelical vegetables?
Maybe he was there all along, he just wasn't relevant to Jonathan's journey
Anyway yeah my guess would be Large Luigi the Beholder can survive Castle Dracula. Maybe he and the monster eating Dungeon dude can be friends.

Mario loves taking Peach on scenic dates, any place with abundant flowers or lush trees or tranquil water. Now, it’s not that he’s a huge fan of nature; he can appreciate the beauty on a surface level, sure, but such dates are very much Girl Admires Scenery, Guy Admires Girl-type fare. He would love a nuclear landfill as much as a crisp summer scene if Peach saw beauty in it. That’s the only reason he particularly cares about how his surroundings look.
And it’s flattering, make no mistake. Peach finds it very romantic and loves being admired. But at the same time, she’s a little baffled at how little scenic views actually move him. He’s seen just about everything one person can see in a lifetime and he’s only now pushing thirty. When he discusses his travels, he never mentions details like sandy beaches or roaring waterfalls, the sorts of things that would enthrall anyone else. It makes her a bit sad, if she’s being honest with herself, the thought that he couldn’t care less about natural beauty, no matter how grandiose. She finds herself wondering if it makes him feel as hollow as the thought makes her, or if he even realizes what he’s missing at all.
One early morning rendezvous sees them and Luigi gathering at the bros’ house, sharing a hearty breakfast and lots of laughter as the last stars fade from the night sky. The bros tag-team the dishes (despite Peach’s insistence upon helping, darn their chivalry), and while Luigi hops in the shower to get ready for his day, Peach sits outside with Mario in the garden swing to watch the sunrise. He’s surprisingly quiet, and she suspects the combination of a full meal and an early start has made him sleepy. She half expects him to be nodding off when she looks over.
But he’s not nodding off. In fact, his attention is rapt, focused on the horizon as the sun slowly peaks over the hills, his face awash in pure awe. Serenity radiates from him like a heater radiates warmth on a cold day, and Peach is taken aback, because this is the first time she’s ever seen him regard the sights of nature with such reverence. And it’s lovely, yes, but it’s so… mundane.
And it hits her then. It’s not that no sight is grand and beautiful enough to sway Mario. This is what moves him: the sun rising over the most familiar of landscapes. The mundane, everyday sight of home.
It makes sense, she supposes. He values two things above all else: the safety of those he loves, and the notion of stability in the midst of his hectic life. When you’ve seen it all, when your adventures have taken you to every corner of the world and beyond, perhaps nothing could be more beautiful to such a person than the knowledge that your loved ones are safe nearby and the day ahead promises to be uneventful.
Peach can see the beauty in such a sight, too. But right now, nothing is more beautiful to her than the glimmer in Mario’s eyes, shining bright blue in the fledgling sunlight, and the calm smile on his face. She finds herself hoping the sunrise never ends so she can keep watching him forever.
Guy admires scenery, girl admires guy.

So. I got an idea. And as some can guess it involved our favourite little green plumber and his villain trio. No idea how to title this so feel free to drop down any ideas.
Here's the story:
King Boo is once again sitting in this damned prison after his third failure with the hotel, bored out of his mind and only listening to that insufferable professor's and Luigi's conversation since even his schemes for when he got out of here again wasn't helping him pass the time. By this point he knew he'd be free again, that old coot's days are numbered and it shows all too well with him constantly giving him the chance to escape.
Those two weren't talking about anything too interesting which led to King Boo only half-listening to what they were saying, not interested in the professor's new invention or Luigi updating Egadd on Mario's newest adventure. Until he heard this.
The professor suddenly asked Luigi about any adventures that particularly stuck with him since he had joined Mario on such adventures a couple of times and often led to a battle against Bowser and new enemies. Luigi thought about it and told him about Pi'illo Island and about the Bat King named Antasma, how he and his brother fought him in the Dream World and all the other crazy stuff that followed.
King Boo grew even more interested when the professor asked about any other, how Luigi thought about it once again and suddenly looked conflicted and tense. The professor asked if he was OK and the green plumber replied that he didn't want to talk about it but Egadd urged him, more interested than ever. With great reluctance and a much more frightened tone, Luigi said that something occurred a couple of years back and it was so awful that it couldn't even be called an adventure and the enemy that was fought was nothing but pure evil. King Boo waited in anticipation as Egadd asked for a name and with great trouble, Luigi uttered ever so quietly the name.
Dimentio.
The conversation ended right at that moment and it gave King Boo time to think again. His mind was scheming like never before. From what he heard, both of those villains were dead, most likely in the Underwhere. That was fine, he had no problem roaming around there freely and he could find a way to smuggle them out. This could possibly be it. This could be his chance to finally have his revenge on that green wretched that has humiliated him so much. He'd make him suffer and not even death would set him free him his wrath.
A wicked grin appeared on King Boo's face and a crazed shiny appeared in his eyes as the plan grew more and more detailed, more horrifying, more real.
Prepare yourself Luigi, because the ghosts of your past are coming back to haunt you once more.
----------
So, what do you guys think?

Hello, I want to say that I simply love your art and the characterization you give to the characters, it seems very beautiful to me and warms my heart, I simply love Mario, Luigi and Peach, they make me such a beautiful and united family, the three of them They love each other very much and would do anything for each other.
Mario and Peach are the cutest couple I have ever seen, they love each other too much, Peach knows that Mario will always be unconditionally there for her, Mario knows that Peach will always be there for him, no one can destroy their love that is as strong as steel.
Luigi and Peach, they are very great friends and they love each other very much and support each other Likewise, Peach will always give good advice to Luigi and motivate him to be braver and Luigi would support Peach in her saddest moments and always manage to make her feel better, with some tender words.
Mario and Luigi are the best brothers in the world and if they lost each other they would suffer intensely, being the most painful thing and their worst nightmare, as brothers, but being together is a great dream and happiness.
Anyway, it's nice to see people portraying this beautiful family.
Aww! 💕 You summed it up very well. 👏
Mario, Luigi and Peach are a perfect trio in my mind because they continually bring out the best in each other. And not only that, but each one-on-one dynamic is also incredible on its own! Mario and Luigi? Absolutely beautiful example of brotherhood, peak sibling love right there. Mario and Peach? Heart melting romance, adorably pure and earnest, the stuff of dreams and fairytales. Luigi and Peach? Fantastic bond filled with common interests and mutual regard, just an all-around superb and very healthy friendship.
I'm glad that you enjoy these characters' relationships and the way I portray them! 🥰 Thank you for the very nice comment. ✨️

Dimentio Analysis
My thoughts on this Dimentio post, recently shared with me by @iukasylvie! The post: https://altermentality.wordpress.com/2016/02/10/flair-for-the-dramatic/.
! CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR SUPER PAPER MARIO !
Okay before I address the article, I should establish my own Dimentio headcanons. I see our silly jester as a sociopath, in that he can't feel love in the same way as other people. Like Bleck, he has a void inside of him, but Dimentio fills it by feeding off of others. Basically, he likes playing around and taunting people because of how emotionally reactive they are, it's how he fills himself up. Mimi's his favorite to mess around with because she's VERY reactive. As for why he wants his own world: he wants to put on a show. The whole of existence, dedicated to entertaining him. The only characters I can liken this to are the Celestial Toymaker (DW) and the Collector (TOH).
Now first off, the article references SPM in the context of "commedia dell'arte", which was a form of theater in Italy during the Renaissance. This form of theater had three types of characters: innamorati (the star-crossed lovers), vecchi (the powerful elders of society), and zanni (the clowns). The common plot of these plays? Two young lovers, hindered by the elders, who end up turning to the zanni to reach a happy ending.
Tumblr media
Of course, Dimentio is a zanni character type. He may not help the Count reach his happy ending directly, but his actions do lead to the wedding with Tippi so, in a sense, this does fit the archetype. And of course, I don't have to tell you who the innamorati characters are. Anyone who knows a lick about Shakespeare probably already knows the love story of Blumiere and Timpani uses a pretty strong "forbidden love" trope, but it's interesting to see this somewhat supported by other forms of theater arts! To say Nintendo and Intelligent Systems had commedia dell'arte in mind when writing SPM's story would be a stretch, but it's always cool to see some elements match across different eras and types of storytelling.
Moving on, does Dimentio care about the other minions? The article eventually concludes that yes, he must, because how could you live in a castle with four other people and not grow to love them? My headcanon lines up with this pretty well--after all, Dimentio words the Count's lie about creating a new world as a "betrayal", and a betrayal facilitates caring enough to trust someone in the first place (points at Olly's entire arc with Olivia in The New Void). But Dimentio doesn't know *how* to love, and his version of "care" is different. He likes having the others around, but as players in his game, as entertainment. That's how he sees it. He fixates on them specifically for a reason he'd never care to explain.
New Void Spoilers Below.
You could say he fixates on Luigi, too, which might seem strange when they had far less time together. Shipping aside, I think canonically Dimentio fixes on Luigi because he's the key to everything, he's a highly valuable asset and Dimentio knows it. In the New Void, this isn't exactly the case. Dimentio doesn't have anything to gain by making Luigi suffer, it's just pure fun. Sure, he COULD torment some Shaydes or D-Men instead, but they're dead and they're boring. Dimentio's also been in the Underwhere for...awhile, and Luigi is a familiar face. In his own way, Dimentio's been a little lonely. It's just that, his way of acting on this feeling is to turn it into a game of psychological warfare...
New Void Spoilers End.
Overall, the strongest part of the article is the description of Dimentio's ideal world. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of darkmarxsoul's Chaos Trilogy, but this depiction of Dimentio's universe might be the best I've ever seen. “Dimentio’s goal is to maximize the amount of drama in the universe…a world with the dials of mortal anguish and despair and even joy set to maximum volume, and the banishment of the mundane. A world where he pulls all the strings to ensure this happens. The Ultimate Show.” Chilling! It's like Bill Cipher's whole Weirdmageddon deal, except rather than maximizing weirdness, DImentio would be maximizing drama, flair, and theatrics. All the world's a stage, and whatnot.
I LOVE this idea for a world of his so much that it's a wonder I haven't started writing fics centered around it already! All these new people living what they think are just ordinary lives, not knowing that it's all being orchestrated by a being that craves mere entertainment. Life as a musical, maybe a comedy tomorrow, or maybe a tragedy next week--all because Dimentio wants it to be. I mean, that's absolutely horrifying when you think about it! Enough for a brief existential crisis maybe! But it's also very cool >:)
In summary: what do we think about Dimentio? I think he's a sociopath who doesn't understand love but desperately wants to be entertained. The article's description of Dimentio's ideal world is scarily accurate and also has a LOT of fanfic potential. Dimentio himself is fun and silly, but also dangerous and probably not someone you'd want to interact with in real life.
As this is my opinion/interpretation, I'm too biased to say whether or not this aligns well with canon. But what do you think? Do you think this all fits Dimentio perfectly, or do you have other thoughts?

With the Mario movie still on my brain and that reunion scene melting my heart that I now have fallen down the rabbit hole. Do you think you could you do some headcanons with Mario and Luigi with each? Their relationship is just so pure 😭😭
Sure!! I adored the bros' relationship in the movie, and I love writing about them too 🥺 Here are a few of my headcanons about them, some are well established in my writing and others I've never really mentioned. Some will be in my upcoming WIP 👀
I like to have Mario and Luigi lean into the Italian part of their Italian-American identity, so in my head they speak with more of an Italian accent than a Brooklyn accent like they do in the movie.
That being said, Mario speaks slower than Luigi and has a little more trouble with correct grammar in English, which he's a bit insecure about. Contractions in particular are hard. But in Italian, he's a much more rapid and animated speaker. Luigi is pretty clear in both languages and is very comfortable with both.
I adore Mario calling Luigi "Lu" in the film! His nickname for Luigi in my stories is "Coniglio," which means rabbit. Italians use "rabbit" the same way that English speakers use "chicken," so it's affectionately teasing Luigi for his skittish demeanor. It's a childhood nickname that just stuck.
In the same vein, Luigi's nickname for Mario is "Capo," which means boss. It reflects how Mario is the one "in charge" between them, but also it's sort of teasing because often when Mario makes decisions on their behalf, he almost always heavily considers and goes with Luigi's preference/advice, so it's like Luigi is making the decisions anyway.
They both have high anxiety, but for different reasons. Luigi is a people pleaser by nature and will do anything to mediate and keep the peace, even if it means sacrificing his agency or energy. Mario is a giver and provider by nature, and often frets about not doing enough, so he overworks himself in trying to protect/feed/care for others and doesn't really know how to stop and let himself be taken care of.
Coming to the Mushroom Kingdom had the effect of easing Luigi's anxiety; it's a less chaotic world and a (mostly) peaceful place to call home. There are rarely emotional conflicts that he feels responsible for regulating, and it's overall better for his health. His stress went down significantly despite the occasional heightened dangers. Coming to the MK unfortunately only escalates Mario's anxiety, though; now he is thrust into this protector role with an entire Kingdom relying on him for its security.
Luigi (being the more emotionally intelligent one between the two of them) clocked the exact moment that Mario fell in love with Princess Peach. He knew it before Mario did. And though he was hesitant to fully trust her at first (being that she's a gorgeous woman in a position of great power and he doesn't want his brother to get hurt), he eventually learns her nature is truly kind and gentle, which he comes to admire her dearly for. And he figures out that Peach reciprocates Mario's feelings pretty quickly, too. He leaves it unspoken, but he teases each of them with nudges and meaningful looks when the other isn't paying attention.
Mario had no idea that Luigi was in love with Princess Daisy for a while until Luigi started showing more obvious signs of a crush, but the thought occurred to him after meeting her for the first time that she would be a wonderful partner to his brother. He came to this epiphany when Daisy was able to beat him in a competition, and he was so amazed and impressed that his immediate thought was that a tough lady like her is exactly what Luigi needs. He considered her to be like a little sister even before it was ever a possibility that she might actually become his sister-in-law. It was a conversation with him that sparked Daisy's romantic affection for Luigi, listening to Mario speak so tenderly about him.
The brothers have a very playful relationship. There's banter, teasing, and sometimes even a little roughhousing. They have inside jokes within inside jokes that no one else could possibly understand. Even times when they were very deeply hurt in the past, the other brother finds a way to reframe it so they're both able to look back and laugh at the things that hurt them. It's easier now that they're in the MK; Mario was beginning to lose some of his spark in Brooklyn.
The movie never specifies that the brothers are twins I don't think, though that's usually a pretty common understanding. I personally HC them as two years apart just so I can bring out that older/younger sibling dynamic a little bit more.
They are inseparable 🥺 Both of them will do anything to make sure the other is content. But both of them also can never shake the feeling that they can't possibly give the other everything he wants and deserves. Nothing Luigi does will ever be good enough for Mario in his own view, and Mario can never do enough to assure Luigi's peace and security in his view. They might never admit it, but on some level they know and try to compensate anyway.
Their tempers are scary. Both of them are extraordinarily patient and understanding even to the most frustrating people and situations, but there are limits. Mario's end point is more easily reached. Where his anger is often fiery and passionate like in the heat of a fight, his unhindered rage is sharp and cold. He speaks quietly, never raising his voice except to be heard. It's scariest when he's moved beyond words into dead silence. It is Luigi's pure rage that is loud and aggressive, but it is much harder and rarer for him to reach his boiling point.
Firebrand and Thunderhand!! Their powers manifest in many ways that they've adapted to their practical lives. It wasn't easy learning how to control them, but once mastered, they almost couldn't imagine their lives without them. Mario's Firebrand makes him a very comforting presence (exuding warmth 😌) and able to traverse many different climates without problem due to his ability to control his body's preservation or release of heat. Luigi's Thunderhand regularly halves the time spent on his various engineering projects, as well as being potentially medically useful.
Luigi doesn't quite have Mario's strength or control, but he is much more meticulous and observant. He's more likely to come across the secret passages or hidden objects that can be helpful on the journey. Mario's more likely to fixate on the objective (e.g. Rescue the Princess! Save the world!) and do whatever it takes to accomplish it as efficiently as possible due to his imperative to serve, even if it sometimes means missing some details.
The movie characterizes Mario as a kind of misunderstood visionary, and he's a bit like that in my stories as well. He has some big ideas, but his motivations are purely based in the comfort and safety of others. He just wants to help people. Luigi is the one who can really assist and realize Mario's ideas, and he often has several projects going on because of how fast Mario can jump from plan to plan.

Character introduction: Larissa/“Cure Jump”
~Basic info~
Name: Larissa Frausto
“Alter Ego”: Cure Jump
Age: 13
Birthday: September 22
Hair color: Brown (w/ red ombré as “Jump”)
Eye color: Brown (Blue as “Jump”)
Tumblr media
Larissa is a girl from another world who happens to visit from time to time. She holds the ability to transform into a magical girl known as “Cure Jump”. She is a side character in Project: SFA.
Larissa is a very shy and awkward person. She often is seen to be either panicking, not able to put out words or trying her best to do what is asked of her. Coming from another world, her surroundings here seem to fascinate her in a way as if she has been observing from the outside for a long time. In her free time, she seems to like to draw and play video games.
Tumblr media
Her “Alter Ego”, Cure Jump on the other hand is much different in personality. She is strong willed, brave, leader-like and overall a joy to be around… she fights with the power of fire, along with a few other new tricks up her sleeve that she learns from Mario as they protect the kingdom at times. Though… there seems to be something behind those blue eyes of hers.
For more information on Larissa & Cure Jump, including more details and voice claims, please visit the side blog @nintendoprecure for her intros there~
A Precure? What’s that?
For my non-precure fans here, it’s a magical girl franchise. If you’re familiar with the concepts Sailor Moon or Cardcaptor Sakura, it’s pretty similar. Hopefully you don’t need to know that much about the franchise to understand the concept. A lot of precure fans like to make OCs, and that is where Larissa is from. So yeah it’s another project of mine. Larissa transforms and fights for what’s good with the power of her transformation device! (Which is a 3DS aha) She pops into SFA every now and then. You don’t need to dive deep into my other project though to understand her role in SFA, so I hope she is still a fun character to SFA’s overall story and lore. Just know that she pops in every now and then, helping out the best she can!
~Relationships~
Tumblr media
Mario: “O-oh— I need to talk about Mario? U-um— he… he talks much more than I imagined… I’m so used to hearing reused voice lin— I MEAN from what I’ve heard from others!! He’s very nice!! I’m… I’m not good at socializing… at all. He seems to care about me though… I-I just feel that I’m to… incompetent to be standing by his side. He always tells be how I do such a good job as Jump but… I’m n— I mean, yeah I’m… Jump… but— sigh, never mind.”
Tumblr media
Peach: “I could cry. I gonna cry. I-I can’t just cry?… she’s everything to me… seeing her in front of me physically of course I’m going to cry!! SHE’S MY FAVORITTTEEEE…. MY QUEEN…. And she’s so nice to me too I’m crying. I-I’m sorry I’m crying. I can’t help it. Little kid me prayed for moments like this… oh my gosh—“ (the rest is incoherent, we cannot understand her through her sobbing)
Tumblr media
Sweetheart: “Finding out that Peach and Mario were married was one thing… but finding out they have a child… was something else entirely. I didn’t know how to process that information— my ship— I mean I’m very happy for them!!! Sweetheart herself is a very sweet little girl… well… she’s currently 10 but her behavior is very pure. Sometimes I think she looks up to me like an older sister which… I-I am an older sister in my family but I— I don’t feel like one. I’m cowardly, but she somehow finds the good in me when I’m around and wants to do things with me… her parents have explained the… situation with her powers, so I do have to keep an eye on her just in case anything happens.”
Tumblr media
Luigi: “… I like Luigi, he… he really understands me when I can’t really get words out of my mouth… or… or when Mario drags the two of us somewhere impulsively as we’re both worrying… it is also surreal seeing him talk in front of me… oh my good they’re real the Super Mario Bros. are real and they’re in front of my oh my god. I’m gonna explode….”
Tumblr media
Daisy: “Daisy has so much energy that she really overwhelms me— but not in a bad way! I really like her I’m just… I-I just like to take things slower and stuff. She’s a wonderful princess! She really cares about her friends and she would definitely fistfight a god for them!…”
Tumblr media
Rosalina: “Mario brought me to the Observatory once and… it felt very weird to be able to breathe in space— where I’m from you— you can’t do that you’ll die. I got to meet Rosalina and the Lumas, and I really had a nice time with her. She’s gentle and made sure I felt comfortable and safe in her home… even read me a few stories from her iconic storybook that surely the soundtrack— I mean the music that so happens to play around when she reads— has not made me cry! Not at all!—“
Tumblr media
Flame: “Flame is a new face I met upon coming here. I’ve never heard of his Kingdom at all. He seems like a nice kid who just wants to have fun with his friends. He-he’s very panicky, like me, so I— I relate a lot with him. He seems to always fight with Aqua and… I can’t blame him on that. Aqua… is… something… I just find it a bit odd how he always does what Sweetheart says?… I-I hope he’s only doing that because he wants to be a good friend…”
Tumblr media
Aqua: “… C-can I tell the truth?—I-I don’t currently like him. I hate sounding mean but— he reminds me of someone from school with his spoiled attitude and I just can’t stand how he constantly arguing with Flame… there’s still a-a lot I don’t know about him, so I am open to change my view on him. It just seems like he isn’t willing to tell anything besides what he wants us to hear… and I don’t want to pry… I won’t say it to his face though, that’s just mean… he hasn’t really DONE anything to hurt me yet so I wouldn’t talk back… not like I ever would in the first place… he’s royalty…”
Toadsworth: “Toadsworth started calling me Master Larissa after one battle and… I cannot get used to the title. I am no master at… anything. Unless it’s crying, I’m… very good at that… ahaha… ha….”
~Rumors~
“Yeah I’m… I’m not related to the Mario Bros… I-I don’t know why that’s such a popular rumor… I’m not even Italian… ahaha… w-wait who thinks I’m related to Mario—? Is it because of my brown hair?— o-or how I’m small?… I’m simply just learning alongside him… because of Ju— because I’m a magical girl!…”
And that’s it for Larissa’s intro! Next will be… well, a certain jester…

Thinking about the Mr L hero au again.
During the battles with the Sammer Kingdom before the world was destroyed, Mr L is actually kinda enjoying himself. He very much believes he needs to prove himself (though this is partially from the programming to his personality, he was given the role of ‘bright new minion of Count Bleck who wants to impress him and prove his worth to the team’) and is eager to show off for the team with his rocket boosters and ray gun.
Anyway, Mr L manages to work together with Mario incredibly. They’re extremely in sync, just like they always are. It’s a little bit of Luigi shining through despite the mocking jeers Mr L gives to their enemies.
He’s having fun. He’s getting along with the team, even if he’s still a jerk.
Then the world is destroyed. It’s nothing but emptiness.
“This is what Count Bleck plans to do to all worlds,” Peach says.
Mr L doesn’t respond.
“Is this truly what you want?”
He glares at her. “I wanted my own world.”
“What is it that you want in your perfect world, then?”
Mr L realizes he doesn’t have an answer. He was never programmed to have one, only that he wanted this ‘perfect’ world desperately enough to destroy all others to get it. Since it wasn’t something he’d ever have, what his perfect world truly consisted of was never made for him. He doesn’t know how to answer.
The team continues forward through the emptiness. There’s nothing but a ruined pure heart at the end. Nobody is there to fight them for it.
It’s just emptiness.
Mr L begins to question things.
On the walk back to the door, Mr L is lagging behind. Mario takes notice and steps back with him.
“Are you alright?”
“Shut up.”
Mario does. They walk side by side. Mr L doesn’t make any indication that he doesn’t want Mario there.
Mr L opens his mouth to talk, then stops multiple times. He doesn’t know how to say what he wants. Mario is quiet, just as Mr L told him to be.
“I was thinking about my perfect world,” he says finally.
Mario feels afraid suddenly. What if this brainwashed version of his brother thinks of something worth betraying them for?
“It doesn’t make any sense, though! Why didn’t I have one before!?” Mr L exclaims, clearly frustrated. “Why would I go into this with just a vague idea! I’m a genius! You’ve seen my brobot! I don’t go into anything without a plan!”
Mario had seen the way Mr L rushes into battle and is sure that isn’t true, but he just nods along. He doesn’t want to stop him. It seems like Mr L is coming suspiciously close to realizing that his entire identity is a lie. Whatever comes from that realization, Mario wants to be there for him.
“But the strangest part isn’t that I didn’t have a clear plan. The real strangest part is that I don’t even really think of brobot much anymore,” Mr L admits. “Isn’t that fucked up? My own brother! He got destroyed and all of a sudden I stop thinking of him. It took me way too long to remember that my perfect world was supposed to include him.”
Mario doesn’t know what to say about that. He’s almost hopeful, though.
“But I guess you think you know why this is happening, don’t you?” It comes out as an accusation, but Mr L seems just the slightest bit unsure.
Mario’s heart aches for him. Poor Luigi, confused and lost in whatever Nastasia did to his head.
There’s a silence between them. Mario realizes it’s probably his turn to speak. “I’d like to think you built your brobot to replace something you didn’t know was missing.”
And Mr L scoffs. “Of course that’s what you think.
They fall into silence again. Mario doesn’t know how to respond. He knows what Luigi would like. Luigi wants assurance, he’d want to hear what Mario has to say. He’d want to know if Mario agrees with his idea.
But Mr L is avoiding admitting the conclusion he’s come to. Usually it’s Mario who sugarcoats things, and Luigi who is more blunt. Now they’re both dancing around the topic, but Mario can’t help but worry that trying to be clear about what he thinks will push Mr L away. Mr L hates being wrong, after all.
So he does the next thing Luigi would like: he gives him a hug.
“Whether you’re my brother or not, I’ll be here for you.”
Mr L goes rigid. Just as Mario is about to let go, he relaxes ever so slightly. He hesitates, slowly moving his arms around Mario to return the hug. He doesn’t quite make contact, but it’s the closest thing to physical affection he’s gotten from Mr L so far. He’s not pushing him away.
Mr L stares out at the empty expanse of nothingness, unsure of what to think. He should be pushing Mario away, but suddenly he’s never felt safer. He’s stuck between two conflicting feelings and he doesn’t know what to do.
Finally Mario pulls away. “Are you feeling alright?” he asks softly.
“Fuck off!” Mr L snaps, shaking himself out of the stupor and running ahead. Mario doesn’t chase, just continuing to follow at a normal stroll.
It hurts, but he knows he needs to give Mr L time to process this. He can’t imagine how difficult it would be to realize your entire life is a lie. He tries to ignore the pang of hurt, and just gives his brother some space.
Mr L won’t admit to being wrong, not out loud, but he admits to himself that maybe he had built brobot to replace a brother he couldn’t remember.
And maybe, just maybe, that brother is Mario.

Stuff that happened in Super Paper Mario
Princess Peach and Bowser get married. This causes a world-destroying hole to appear in the sky
The gaang thinks it's Bowser who kidnapped peach but it was another dude entirely
Mario, Peach, and Bowser all die due to Dimentio just showing up in the middle of the heroes' headquarters and just murdering them just like that
One of the pure hearts (the powerful object the heroes need to defeat the bad guy) turns out to have been turned into an actual alive girl and she chooses to essentially die and turn back into an inanimate object
Luigi dies too due to Dimentio straight up betraying and murdering him
A whole world just dies. When you go back it's all white with a bit of wreckage. It's not the only world that dies
You actually really do feel the whole 'everything is going to die' vibe in the last world
Luigi is turned into a bad guy named Mr. L
Mimi successfully manages to trick the heroes into endless labor (essentially slavery), delay them, trick them into thinking she's the good guy more than once, and turns into a robo spider.
Mimi literally explodes. On-screen. Then she's back somehow. This is given no explanation.

Different Universes of Energy
After the multiple times of collecting energy being a goal/plot point in various Transformers media, I couldn't help but write this. A list that involves different energy sources from different fandom universes. The ones I'll be choosing are either very plentiful or have a large variety.
Marioverse
Tumblr media
Oh yeah. We're starting with the series that has a clusterfuck of magical items. Mario practically beats everything on this little list from how many alternate power sources any Transformer can gather. Cat Shines from Lake Lapcat, Shine Sprites of Del Defino, Power Stars to Grand Stars found across the stars and the latest Power Moons scattered all over the world.
I ain't forgetting about the spinoff games either which has their own flavor for powerful collectibles. These are also the easiest to attain since there are many ways to acquire them. You can find one out in the wild, purchase from a store(Power Moons), win through competitions, etc.
Team Autobots wouldn't have much trouble following these rules. In fact, it's probably a fun break from the usual hardships as scavenging in the midst of a war is difficult. Getting coins is easy since coin blocks are common to find and some bots such as Bumblebee would find the games fun.
The Decepticons would have to follow things by the Marioverse rules though. I ain't joking either as there are many ways for inhabitants to send them packing. Powerups especially the Mini Mushroom, Mega Mushroom, Giga Catbell and Super Star.
One little Mini 'Shroom is enough to shrink Megatron to the size of a guinea pig then shove his ass into a cage. A bloke can become a giant through the Mega Mushroom or gargantuan sphinx via Giga Catbell and yeet Starscream across the kingdom. Can't forget the Super Star's invinciblity as Decepticons drop like flies thanks to pure rainbow power.
Every bit of technology in this universe is more advanced but also sometimes mystical. There's literally a vacuum cleaner capable of sucking up ghosts, go-carts that can ignore the laws of gravity, actual magic, to even stars that can grant wishes.
There's also the kingdoms who won't take invaders too kindly either. Bowser definitely gonna declare war and he's got a wide array of technology to pack a nasty punch. The Koopa King is quite a threat when you look at the spinoffs such as the RPGs. Plus he has teamed up with Mario multiple times should the need arise.
Speaking of the plumber, he definitely get involved alongside his friends. The Mario and Luigi RPGs to even Mario + Rabbids shows he can do more than just jump. Latter series literally gave him a gun which later got upgraded to dual blasters.
Best play nice or get your ass kicked by someone no bigger than your little toe.
Knackverse
Tumblr media
Next up is the PS4 launch title series, Knack! There are two different types of energy sources that are very very abundant: relics and sunstones. Everything technological in this universe are powered by either one or both sources.
Sunstones are crystalized sunlight that can be found about everywhere. Caves, mountains, grass plains, and even in someone's backyard. They are often used to generate electricity whether through generators, electrical plants or even lamp posts.
Now relics are a bit harder to find. These can be found underground or in ancient structures so mining might be required. Relics produce relic energy which is often used to power vehicles, generators, weapons, etc.
Everything can be obtained without messing with the locals. Although either faction might have to go through a scrapheap to see how relics are used to generate power. They definitely be a bit confused for awhile as these ancient artifacts are essentially spun around akin to a hamster wheel.
Decepticons will have some very painful retaliation if they try to steal relics and sunstones from the populace. The Crystal Wars is proof that humans here act like space orcs but also still do. Ryder and Doctor Vargas literally threw hands with goblins the size of them. The same goes for the latter.
I don't think goblins would be too pleased with otherworldly invaders taking their resources either. Advancement in technology can also prove these aren't people to mess with. Airships are more common, vehicles don't drive on tires, there are tanks that can create forcefields and fire lasers.
Ancient goblin weaponry have been rebuilt. Every one remains a force to be reckoned with. Cannot forget about the people's protector: Knack. He has fought a lot of mechanical foes in various sizes(for both parties).
Decepticons will be fighting on his turf and that's a huge disadvantage on its own. Super Sunstones to grant temporary invinciblity, the Ultimate Move which can destroy barriers/forcefields, super moves that range from solar lightsabers to even a relic tornado. Knack is a crafty motherfucker and can pummel any Cybertronian who dares disturb the peace.
I'm pretty sure a relic haymaker to the faceplate will be hard to dent out.
JNDverse
Tumblr media
Last but not least, we have Eco from the Jak and Daxter series. The closest in comparison to Cybertron's Energon from their respective origins but also diversity. Each has different unique properties depending on the color. Their origin being from a long lost civilization/creators now cascaded in mystery.
Eco is very abundant and manifests all over the world. The main source being Eco Vents which constantly spurts it out in a gaseous form. Large liquid pools can also be found but it's highly likely that its Dark Eco, the most corruptive of all types.
Crystals are another way to gather it so mining will be required. Even various wildlife drop eco upon death but not much. There are many ways to gather the stuff without stirring a fuss.
Huge advancements in technology is very common as the most common transport are hovercraft style vehicles like zoomers. Dune buggies are utilized in the deserts with some being capable of jumping large gaps or bust down fortresses from sheer firepower. Eco can also power weaponry.
Weapons powered by this natural energy can have all sorts of abilities that depends on the color. Short range shockwaves, gravity inverters, ricocheting bullets, etc. They don't lack on firepower especially if one has a Morphgun which can use all Eco types by switching cartridges.
Now the Decepticons will face retaliation by disturbing the peace but here it varies. Some cities such as Haven have too many civilians and incompetent military forces to properly protect themselves. *Looks at all the missions alongside lack of self defending NPCs in Haven*
Areas such as Spargus will retaliate immediately since EVERYONE has been trained to fight and is armed. It makes sense because most of the city's population are people exiled to the wastelands by Haven. Can't forget about the Demolition Duo.
Jak and his companion has tackled a variety of opponents including giant robots. The latter were made with Precursor metal which is very hard to break through and probably more durable than Cybertronian metal. Both had wrecked it.
Jak has a variety of Eco cartridges for his Morphgun but can also rely on his Eco Channeling abilities. He can transform into powerful forms through Light and Dark Eco. The destructive animalistic Dark Jak or the angelic time stopping Light Jak.
It's best to be wary unless you want a Dark Eco blast through the spark chamber.
That's it for now! Until next time folks, I'll see you later! Transform and Roll Out!

omg the best scenario for me in regards to your poll of how the marios would act when it comes to their respective luigis, is a mario trying to hoard ALL of the other luigis for himself, that's his baby brother no matter what universe and i can just see the other marios trying to do the same. they fight from there so kinda like the first option of your poll of the marios fighting lol. i dont really want to see them fight but i think it's just too funny.
Haha you presented such a funny idea there 😄
Although...(if I may add my own critique), as much as Mario (no matter which one) loves his brother - he only loves the brother that is his own.
It's like what I said in my Bowser ask, the versions of the Bros are just that - different versions of themselves that have their own personalities and character based on experiences from their own worlds.
Do you think that Game Mario would feel an instant connection with Movie Luigi (despite them being similar)? Not really...
Despite how similar the two are, Movie Mario can't even begin to describe the pain and anxiety he felt of being separated from his Luigi in the warp zone, and the joy he felt of being reunited with him...
Likewise, Game Mario was separated from his Luigi when they were just infants. While he was too young to remember all the details, he can still recall the feeling of a pull from within him that helped lead him to his brother. It's not something the other Mario's have been through with their Luigi's...
And 1993 Mario - who I might add is at least two decades older than the other Mario's - would find the other Luigi's endearing I bet, but they're not his Luigi. The Luigi he raised himself. The brother who's into conspiracy theories, spends too much time playing video games, and who helped him save another dimension from an evil dictator. That's who his Luigi is 💗.
And it's not just physical and personal experiences that each Bro pair share - it's also their bone deep brotherly love. Sure they would no doubt feel love and affection towards any other version of their brother (like Paper Mario did with Luigi in Paper Jam!), but the brotherly love between each pair is unique, powerful, and pure. It can never be duplicated or replaced ❤️💚.

During the pregnancy I imagine that Peach of course sings to her baby to calm herself and the baby down. Just imagine her sitting in the garden while rubbing her own belly and singing nursery rhymes. And I am asking you, do you have any headcanons about this as well?
Oh-ho, don’t even get me started on the role singing plays in the whole ordeal. Too late! Ya got me started~
Mario’s a really good singer, but for one reason or another he just doesn’t feel comfortable singing around anybody except Luigi or Peach; even then, he doesn’t sing around them much at all. But Peach adores his voice and will occasionally attempt to cajole him into singing for her. He plays along and makes a big show of resisting before ultimately giving her that song she wants, dancing around with her and being generally overdramatic, and it’s a great deal of fun!
But on very rare occasions, he’ll sing for her without provocation. It’s always during moments of quiet intimacy, as though his heart’s just too full and it’ll burst unless he pours it out in song, or whenever she’s under strain and there’s no immediate way he can help her other than to comfort her. And those songs are soft, low, mellow, and nine times out of ten in Italian. When he sings for her like that, all feels right with the world.
Her first real bout of morning sickness sees her violently ill at four in the morning, and Mario leaves her just long enough to send a summon for the head nurse. Peach is curled up on the tiles of the darkened bathroom, and Mario returns with a blanket, sets her head in his lap, and sings softly to her as he strokes her hair. While Mario internally panics over her condition, Peach is wrapped in the warmth of his voice; she feels light and drowsy, like he’s cocooning her in pure comfort, and for a while all of her nausea falls to the wayside.
He does it again that night, laying in bed together after finding out that he’s going to be a father. She can’t understand the words, but the melody is simple and repetitive, and she quickly realizes he’s singing a lullaby. It’s enough to make her cry.
In the coming weeks, she asks him to teach her the same lullabies his mother sang to him and Luigi as children. So he does! He’ll introduce a new one every night until he runs out of lullabies he actually remembers (it HAS been a while since he was a kid). The English lullabies she of course picks up quickly; she’s particularly fond of the one with the diamond ring and looking glass, because, as Mario affectionately points out, showering a baby with expensive gifts it can’t even use is 100% something she would do. The Italian lullabies take more time, so he’ll start by translating them line-by-line (during which he realizes for the first time just how morbid some of them are…) and then singing it slowly so Peach can join in and mimic his intonation.
And since lullabies can get pretty repetitive, he’ll take regular breaks to sing different songs to her so she doesn’t go crazy. The truth is, she could never grow tired of his voice, no matter how many times he repeats the same handful of stanzas… but she certainly won’t object, because he’s sang for her more in the past month than he has in all the time she’s known him.
It feels a bit silly when she thinks about it, two grown adults singing children’s songs back and forth to each other all night. But those songs become part of their daily repertoire, and every time Mario starts sleepily murmuring one with his head on her chest and a hand on her stomach, or every time she approaches him in the middle of the day just to ask if she’s pronouncing a line correctly; every time she hears him humming about Fra’ Simon in the shower and then groaning about it being stuck in his head, and every time he tries to surprise her in the garden after their duties are complete for the day, only to find her singing the same song while rubbing soothing patterns over her belly; they both fall a little bit harder for one another.

Luigi's harem... years later/old couple (interesting option for those with a long life expectancy or immortality)
Ohh, that's actually an interesting thought! Lets see...
TW: mentions of death and fear of loss.
Daisy: I think she is the same or close to Peach's age so her age with Luigi would be pretty close. By now, they're heir would have taken over the throne of Sarasaland so all they have to do is enjoy life without the duty of serving as Emperor and Empress, though they'd stick around to support their family and people when needed. The two would want to go around the world a lot more now that they have the time, especially to spend time with Mario, Peach and their own children (which I just posted a drawing of-). They still play sports as they are still able to be active thanks to all the years of physical exercise but it won't be as intense as back then as there are limitations now. That's all I have really, simple, lovely old couple days.
Peasley: Now this will be hard to predict on Peasley's part since we don't know how long a Beanish person lives for, could be longer or shorter than the human life span. Kinda wanna go with the theory that it's a bit shorter since it's a bean and not an immortal or power and long-lasting being. Then again Peasley seems a bit younger than Luigi so it won't be that much of a problem. They would mostly settle in the BeanBean Kingdom but in a normal house where they can live peaceful and romantic lives. Peasley would continue his cheesy, romantic attitude that stills makes Luigi feel fluttered and giddy, while Luigi shows his own affection in other ways, taking care of him with extra care and tenderness. It's a way of letting each other know that they will love each other till their days end.
Dreambert: Pi'illos have a longer life span that humans so Dreambert wants to stick to Luigi as much as he can when the years starts to really pass, wanting Luigi to feel supported and loved. Luigi often calms him down when he gets a bit too worried about his health and ensures him that everything will be alright. The insomnia is pretty much gone at this point so both their dreams are sweet and pleasant, merging them every night so they can enjoy it together. The best part in their opinion is watching their son be a Pi'illo they can't be proud of, even better when their grandchildren came into the picture, Luigi ended up crying his eyes out in pure joy at being a grandpa. Dreambert actually got interested in Eldream's work and when he passed, he took over and followed in his footsteps.
Bowser: Bowser has really calmed down after all these years with Luigi and has gotten closer to the others, his kingdom forming a Peace Treaty long before he gave up his throne to Jr and even forming more healthy alliances thanks to Luigi and even Peach's help. But he had a lot to apologise and make up for, especially after being considered a world-wide threat. But it worked out in the end and things are finally peaceful. He likes to sit back and relax with his husband and children when they visit but he also likes to become useful and since he's knowledgeable in fighting and power, he offers assistance in training his own other other kingdoms' troops for better security results and how to properly use said power. Luigi really wanted to spend his days in a place with more greenery but he couldn't bare make Bowser leave his homeland like he had to so he used his old house as a vacation house that he visits often. If Luigi takes too long to come back, Bowser gets back on his kidnapping antics and "kidnaps" him back home.
King Boo: King Boo isn't too worried of how many living years Luigi has left as they will still be together as ghosts but he hates seeing his health slowly get worse and experiences the pain of seeing someone you love die. It starts to hurt but tries to make it better by remembering that they will still be together and won't have to worry about living barriers. Luigi is more than aware of his worries no matter how much he tries to hide them and spends a lot of time comforting King Boo and offering any sort of distraction to calm him down. Luigi took over E-Gadd's work when the professor passed but doesn't use the same methods, preferring to interview instead of experimenting, makes for lovely chats over tea or coffee. The two love spending time with the boos and Luigi started joining on on the smaller, more fun scares, Halloween being the best time ever, turns out Luigi knows a lot more about horror than the king guessed and it made him fall harder for him. Luigi started to get a bit self-cautious as he got older, but King Boo was quick to shut that down and show him how much he still loved him. Luckily, Mario doesn't get put in a painting anymore but he still isn't in a totally friendly relationship with the king, he just tolerates him and stays polite with him. Luigi sets his husband straight if he starts to become a prick to his brother, that's a big no-no he won't allow no matter how much King Boo whines and tries to downplay. Looks like some things never change, even after death.
Antasma: while Antasma stayed in Pi'illo Island since it's his homeland and has the food he needs most, he found he wasn't as hurt to leave it and go to the Mushroom Kingdom with Luigi, preferred it actually. It was so nice and different, aside from the grating voices of the Toads, he got as used to it as he could. There was actually a lot more food than he thought he'd find, since there weren't any other dream bats to compete against, but he stills goes back with Luigi when he wants to visit, which is where they also found their colony. Antasma doesn't worry about his age or how long he has to live as it depends on how many dreams he eats and how much power he has to keep himself alive still, but it starts to lessen the older Luigi gets so they can experience being old together. He doesn't stop eating all together, he just eats more of what Luigi cooks instead of dreams, which he happens to actually enjoy. He mostly follows Luigi's lead on how they live their old days, aside from the off chance that he wants to experience something he heard of or saw and grew interested in, the most fun he had was visiting some the museums that caught his eye. Their days together or quiet and calm, filled with naps, cuddles and a whole lot of affection for each other and their children as they grow. Antasma is really amazed at how he got to this and while he may regret the things he did, if it meant having what he had now, he'd do it all over again.
Dimentio: he doesn't grow old like Luigi and he tries his best to hide his panic at seeing Luigi's body slowly give up on him, until he has enough after a doctor's visit and desperately insists that he finds a way to give Luigi more years or to make him immortal in aspect of aging but to his devastation, Luigi obviously refuses, he wouldn't be able to bare that like Dimentio does. Dimentio is in distress at this because he knows where Luigi's soul will end up and he can't bare to loose him and never be able to see him again. Luigi can't calm him down but he does his best to give the best memories he can together and works on building a support system for Dimentio. The jester ends up slowly accepting the cycle of life for humans and spends as much time as he can with Luigi and enjoys it a lot more than he thought he would, finally seeing why Luigi loves life so much. He'll miss him but he doesn't to miss him just yet. All he has to do is enjoy the time given to them and cherish it.

Something else that I really love that the movie did was that basically sank all the discussions, the theories and talk about Luigi being jealous and resentful of Mario that fans have been memeing and joking about for literal years.
In fact, Luigi in the movie is the one who’s praising and admiring Mario the most, he knows that his brother has big dreams and has a heart of gold, he knows his brother is amazing and he loves him for that.
Does he have low self esteem? Yeah. But there is absolutely not a single bit of jealousy towards Mario, Luigi adores him far too much to ever be jealous/spiteful at Mario, Mario means the world to him.
WORD. They are each other's #1 fan and no one can tell me otherwise. 😭💖
Their sibling relationship is honestly so healthy and pure, I'm unbelievably glad that this is the direction the movie has decided to take in the portrayal of their dynamic. 🤧 The wholesomness levels are through the roof with these two and I honestly couldn't be happier for it. We need more of this in movies and media in general. 💯💫
