I wholeheartedly agree with the power couple headcanon. You both are natural-born leaders, so it only makes sense that you are both influential in your own ways. Whenever you or Vil post anything on Magicam, it goes viral because you both increase the other’s popularity by a lot. Neige’s and Vil’s follower count are nearly equal! 

When you bring up your ‘family tradition’ of polyamorous relationships, but I don’t think he would want that. He could be convinced (if you play your cards right) to add Rook into your relationship, but that’s a big ‘could’.

He’s glad you take care of your body by working out. That being said, most of your weight is pure muscle, and your strength exceeds his by a big amount. You take your place as Vil’s bodyguard because you are aware that no one would mess with you. You are built like a tank, not even Ace would let his mouth run.

When he has the time, he will gladly join you for a few of your workouts. After all, it’s healthy to exercise. Vil supplies you both with healthy snacks and water so that you don’t pass out from hunger or dehydration.

Much like your ancestors, you have a soft side behind your ‘tough and flamboyant’ facade. Vil loves seeing this side of you, and he also loves that this side of you is only reserved for him (and maybe Rook if Vil decided to let him join the relationship).

He calls you ‘potato’ mainly to annoy you. You both have egos that are very high, so he will not call you “flamboyant god/goddess of festivals” just to make you mad. What brought you both together also is the main problem in your relationship: pride and confidence.

As for your jewelry and makeup, Vil finds it unique. He hasn’t seen anyone do their makeup like that, or wear a headband with big gems on it… but it suits you. He will be making more headbands for you to wear. Consider it a way of telling others you are his.

As for your Demon Slaying abilities, Vil finds them impressive. He knew that you were a skilled combatant, but he didn’t know how good until P.E. came up. With your abilities (i.e. Enhanced Hearing), you are like a second Rook. 

One ability that he finds the most intriguing is your poison resistance. After all, he is in the dorm based off of Snow White, where the culprit was the Evil Queen with a Poisoned Apple. He’s glad that you won’t be in too much danger if you were to eat an apple from the dorm, but he’d rather not take any chances. After all, he’s not sure if you can withstand the poison he made to become dorm leader.

Ship: UzuRen [Uzui Tengen x Rengoku Kyojuro]

Part 1: Friends to Lovers

This is my ultimate OTP, I live and die for this ship, I love both characters to death. They both live rent free in my head and I will never regret to be on this shipwreck.

In my honest opinion there is no one else better for my little sunshine than the flamboyant god of festivals and let me tell you why:

We all know how they first meet at the Hashira summit when Kyojuro is summoned by Oyakata.

I firmly believe that Tengen fell in love at first sight with Kyojuro, right there in Oyakata’s Zen Garden. At first I think he was star-struck by Kyojuro’s looks and aura, but we lost him when the flame boy confronted Sanemi with not an ounce of fear.

Tengen definitely tried to act to look cool around him, unconsciously flirting with Kyojuro, showing off his muscles and flashy breathing technique, and Kyojuro was genuinely fascinated by this, fueling Tengen’s ego even more.

“Amazing!” “As expected from the Sound Pillar!” “I have never seeing a breathing technique as beautiful as yours!”, Tengen’s chest will fill with pride every time Kyojuro praised him.

Tengen LOVES to be praised, specially by his handsome colleague. He would constantly find himself going over the edge when Kyojuro was around.

The rest of the Pillars hated when this happened, Tengen would be even more insufferable around them, cocky and presumptuous, but Kyojuro never found this annoying at all.

Kyojuro always felt admiration and respect for Tengen as he considered him his valuable superior and never realized that his “comments” about Tengen were easily interpreted as flirting.

All the Pillars knew that Tengen was down bad for Kyojuro even before Tengen realized this himself.

Tengen did not realized his feelings only after he and Kyojuro became closer acquaintances, and I like to believe that it happened when they had their first mission together.

After that, Tengen started to be really TOUCHY with Kyojuro. At first, these were subtle, accidental touches, but as Kyojuro did not seem to care, the nature of these touches intensified as to Tengen trying to pin Kyojuro against the wall, grabbing Kyojuro’s hands, breathing into the back of his neck, hugging him from behind, you name it; complete and entire invasion of the flame pillar personal space.

Tengen ADORES Kyojuro’s hair, so somehow his hands always found a way into Kyojuro’s flaming strands. Softer than what it looked like.

It was after his first mission together than Kyojuro found out about Tengen having 3 wives. He did not approved at all, as for him, a man should be completely devoted to only one persona for the rest of their life, just like his parents were.

Kyojuro tried to fool himself with the argument that Tengen already had 3 wives, so it was very unlikely that his friend had feelings for him.

It gets harder for Tengen to conceal what he really feels, he wants to get more intimate with Kyojuro and I think he is completely fine with the fact that he has fallen for a man.

Tengen confesses first because he really can’t stand to be in the “bromance zone” anymore.

Kyojuro is a bit shocked but not completely surprised at all, he is not as dense as a lot of people thinks. And also, Kyojuro is unbothered by the fact that Tengen is a man.

Kyojuro has a hard time to accept Tengen’s feeling, because in his mind, he will be committing adultery and that is something he will never approve of.

But against of all odds and his own morale, I think Kyojuro would officially start his romance with Tengen and OH BOY, ARE THEY PHYSICAL.

If Tengen was touchy before, after his confession, he is all hands over HIS MAN.

Tengen its jealous AS HELL.

He was a bit jealous when they were friends but now it’s a lot worse.

He hates when women they rescue try to get too intimate with Kyojuro, this never turns into a fight thanks to Kyojuro’s character and personality but Kyojuro is very firm to not let this to get in the way of their duty.

I also think that Tengen gets more openly jealous from some of the other Pillars and I will elaborate from whom on another post :P.

On the other hand, Kyojuro’s jealousy is shown more as bitterness for Tengen’s wives. He believes that the ladies are able to give Tengen what he will never be capable of [kids]. But he is not resentful at the girls at all, all the opposite, Kyojuro contradicts himself all the time by telling Tengen that he should be more respectful of his ladies.

As opposed to Tengen, Kyojuro never voices these insecurities to Tengen because he does not feel he has the right to do so :(

Kids are really important to Kyojuro, one of his main goals in life is to be extend the Rengoku legacy, Tengen takes a lot of importance to this as he wants to make Kyojuro happy and motivates Tengen to make important decisions. I will explain this in another post.

Tengen teaches Kyojuro the arts of love, Tengen is gentle and chivalrous, caring and compassionate, I will explain in more detail the love language of each.

Kyojuro is extremely romantic when they are alone, I think that as Kyojuro is super passionate, Tengen gets the best out of him in this aspect as Kyojuro have never loved someone before.

Tengen is Kyojuro’s first love <3.

Tengen makes Kyojuro flush in public but Kyojuro takes Tengen’s breath away in private.

Tengen IS CRAZY about this, he loves when Kyojuro gets intimate and touchy with him. Tengen wants Kyojuro to need and want him as much as he does.

I believe Kyojuro’s is the first to say: I love you.

Tengen is very vocal about needing Kyojuro, Tengen is a demanding lover, he wants all the attention and pampering that Kyojuro has to offer and at the worst time possible lol.

In the middle of a fight? Maybe. In front of other Pillars? Absolutely. In front of Shinjuro? DON’T even dare not to kiss him back.

It takes Kyojuro a bit more time to feel like he is entitled of receiving love and attention from Tengen, because he feels like a home-wrecker mistress lol. So he rarely demands any attention from Tengen.

Tengen confuses this as Kyojuro not loving him enough, or not being sure about them two being together.

Kyojuro’s guilt drives him a bit away from Tengen, again, not feeling like he is entitled to anything and it takes him a bit of time to settle this down.

Tengen certainly panics whenever Kyojuro acts distant or seems to want space in between them, this mainly due to Tengen’s insecurities and feeling like he is not good enough.

They eventually work this stuff out, and have a very healthy, sexy and loving relationship. I will elaborate this in another post.

I will also elaborate my thoughts about the Rengoku family reaction to Kyojuro’s and Tengen’s relationship.

Tengen Uzui x Reader | The Sound Pillar

Hello everyone! ^^

Here is the third oneshot. This time with the god of flashiness, Tengen Uzui.

I would like to thank you again for all the likes. I never thought that Giyu would get more likes than Kyojuro. Do not misunderstand. Giyu was my favorite first and foremost. Now it's Kyojuro/Tengen.

"You want me to be what?"

"You'll be my fourth wife!"

"But you have a bird!", you make the appropriate gesture to it. "You already have three wives. Isn't that enough for you?"

You two argue so loudly that by now every other pillar has interrupted its activity and is watching the two of you. But you do not let yourselves be disturbed.

"Yes, I have a bird, a crow to be exact!"

"Very funny, Tengen! Has the worthy gentleman hung up his job as a demon hunter and become a comedian? Or did you just have a clown for breakfast? I have a crow and so does every other pillar here. The only difference is that none of them wear such stupid headgear."

The loud laugh from the Pillar of Flame, Rengoku, rings out.

"You see, even Kyōjurō has to laugh at your comedy already."

"He's more likely to laugh at you than at me, my dear!" grinned the Pillar of Sound to himself.

"Don't call me your love!" you cross your arms in front of your chest and turn away from Tengen.

You snort once, hard, annoyed. Tengen rips your nerves to the core.

"So, what now, my dear? You won't meet a flamboyant man like me a second time.", he emphasized the word 'my love' extra hard to annoy you.

You roll your eyes. You don't understand how you can be so sure of yourself. Healthy self-confidence is good, but you can also overdo it. Just like Tengen.

"Are you deaf? No, I'm not going to be your wife! I won't today! I won't tomorrow! Not in a week let alone a month either! Never! Never in my life! Just get it out of your head!"

You are slowly but surely at the end of your rope. If you continue to argue with him, you won't have a voice tomorrow. You're more than sure of that. You would put your hand in Rengoku's fire. He is still laughing loudly about your quarrel.

Actually you get along with him brilliantly. But right now, you're so pissed off at Tengen's stubbornness that you'd love to shut Rengoku up without batting an eye if he didn't stop his stupid laugh right now.

"Then in one year, my dear!" grinned Tengen victoriously.

Confused, you turn your head in his direction.

"Huh?" you quip wittily.

"You said not today, not tomorrow, not in a week and not in a month, however you never mentioned a year. So, my dear!"

"I know what I said. Are you slow on the uptake? I said never! That goes for all time!"

You want to throw more at him, however, you know that would just be a pure and pointless waste of time. You wave him off and go your way. You need some peace and quiet and decide to go for a walk.

After a while you arrive at a flower meadow. You stop and enjoy the view. Here grow your favorite flowers, lilies. White lilies.

You pick one and turn it back and forth in your hand. White. Snow white. Like the hair from the pillar of sound. Dumbfounded, you stare at the lily. Why does it come to your mind, though you only push it away from you? Does it seem to please you against your own will? You just don't want to see it? And you tell yourself the opposite?

Let's stick to the truth. He's good-looking. He's quite tall. He's got great muscles. His eyes are captivating. And his deep voice. The only thing that bothers you about him is his stupid attitude. Who does he think he is? A god? For a shiny, flamboyant god? God of flashiness? God of festivals?

"So you like, lilies? Very interesting. I'll have to make a note of that."

You give a low shriek and in shock, the flower falls out of your hand and onto the dirty ground. With a scowl, you turn to the troublemaker.

"What do you want here?"

"I have to look after my future wife, don't I?"

"Tengen, how many times do I have to tell you...!...Oh, forget it."

He picks up the flower again and carefully puts it in your hair without breaking eye contact with you. You blush slightly on your cheeks.

"I will bring you a bouquet of white lilies every day until your house is filled with them for good."

"Tengen, no!" you interrupt him. "You must be a great man, or husband, whatever. Your wives may be lucky to have married you, too. But I can't imagine sharing a husband with other women."

"So that means if I wasn't married, you would become my wife?"

"Tengen, don't do anything stupid!"

You can already see the scene before you of the demon slayer breaking up with his wives just so you'll marry him.

"Yes or no?" he ends your head spin.

"Maybe, Tengen, maybe."

You make your way home, leaving him standing there. He doesn't mind, though. Not in the least. He has a plan and he's faster than you anyway. He'll give you a nice homecoming you'll never forget. And with a certain piece of jewelry piece.

ok tengen, giyu, rengoku, shinobu

what would their ideal date look like? tengen would def go somewhere like an amusement park for the flamboyance, giyu for sure is something like a quiet restaurant or cafe and stroll in the park, but rengoku and shinobu could probably go either way

either way i’m off to fantasize some more ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

Uzui Tengen

I 100% agree that Tengen would have his ideal date at an amusement park

But counter point

Tengen I think would have him and his date go to a festival

Extra counter point

My College AU Tengen would have an ideal date at a Musical Festival were him and his band perform

Reasons for this is he can show off his drumming skills

And festivals especially music ones let you stay for a few days so he would have a lot of time to get to know you

As well as the fact he can talk about his interest and introduce you to Makio, Suma and Hinatsuru (I am not excluding these 3 wonderful women)

He would probably want to see if you and his girls get along or not (you better hope you 4 are besties or are also dating them)

Though if Tengen did go with the Amusement Park date he would probably want the date to start in the early afternoon and end around 9 or 10 pm

I can see him wanting to be with his date for the whole day

In my head even though Tengen is a huge flirt I think he wouldn’t want to commit himself to a relationship unless he has an emotional connection with the other person

He also definitely is serious about his relationship and very committed to his lover I think he would commit murder before he even thinks about cheating

But anyway back to the main topic

I feel like Tengen wouldn’t try and put on a front of how he’s a gentleman or the perfect guy

Tengen would just act as he normally does and wouldn’t try to be what he isn’t

I feel like his worst date would be at a library or at a coffee shop

Tengen much prefers being loud and having excitement in his life

so any place that has a bunch of rules or is somewhere you need to be quiet he would probably leave the first 5 minutes in

Rengoku Kyojuro

Honestly I think Kyojuro would be fine with any type of date

I think he would prefer if the date location was chosen by the other person than himself

I just feel like he wouldn’t normally go on dates unless he thought the person was his soulmate or it was meant to be

Kyojuro probably wouldn’t care where the date was as long as he got to spend time with you

You could honestly have a date in the most badly reviewed restaurant and he would be fine with it as long as you were there

This boy would be such a gentleman as well he would pull your chair out for you, he would pay for whatever it was you two went, he would even bring an extra jacket if you got cold

Though I think once Kyojuro gets more comfortable with you he would absolutely adore at home dates

Getting your favourite junk food sitting on the couch with blankets wrapped around the both of you in your pyjamas while watching a movie

Kyojuro would definitely carry you to bed if you fell asleep as you two would then cuddle until he fell asleep

Honestly the dream right there

And if he woke up before you he would love to make breakfast in bed for you as long as you give him all the kisses he wants

I definitely feel like Kyojuro would be somewhat awkward at the beginning of the relationship but once you two are very comfortable with each other it honestly just comes naturally to him

Husband material 1000000% (I would add more 0’s but we got two more people to do!)

Tomioka Giyuu

I feel like Giyuu would be the most awkward out of everyone else so he doesn’t really get around but

I feel like his ideal date would be getting lunch and then going to an Aquarium and depending on how it’s going dinner would be added

For some reason I think Giyuu would prefer dates to be only in the afternoon it wouldn’t be to early or too late for him

I think the Aquarium because I have a sneaking suspicion that Giyuu really likes sea animals the fish, octopus and sharks are his favourite

He probably has a fish tank

Giyuu would be really quite during the date so I think he would either like someone else to do the talking or would prefer someone who also enjoys the quite with him

Even though he has no idea what he is doing he definitely unintentionally lays down some charm

Opening the door for you

While walking he probably has an arm around your shoulder or has his hand on your back

He would probably buy the both of you matching plushies (I’m thinking dolphins) and then make your plushies kiss or something cute like that

I 100% believe Giyuu is such a charmer but doesn’t know it (probably thinks the date is going terrible)

Kocho Shinobu

I feel like Shinobu’s ideal date would be a movie in the afternoon and then a nice dinner

Basic I know but

I definitely believe Shinobu rarely goes on dates so she would probably look up date ideas or do dates she’s seen in movies

She would probably be pretty stiff at the beginning but the movie would definitely help with the nerves

At the dinner she would talk about how interesting or bad the movie was and then conversation would just flow easily with her

With Shinobu not knowing how to do dates she would definitely prefer a day or two notice before the date starts so she can prepare herself

She would try and act quite and just sit there and be pretty (she already is tho) as she has no idea on what to do

I feel like she would be fine with any type of date she would probably try anything once

Once Shinobu becomes more confident with dates I think her ideal date would still be a movie but then going window shopping then dinner

Same reasons earlier for why a movie

With the window shopping if the person she’s with is serious about her she would want to know what they like and dislike

It’s also just another way to get to know her date

If she think the date isn’t going well she would probably just skip to the dinner as I think she would find it useless to know stuff about her date if she thinks she won’t go out with them

She at least remembers his preferred way to address him, which might make up for the fact that she does not recall his whole name. The man grins. “Good! You remembered your god.” “Not my god,” Kit says automatically. “I don’t worship.”  There’s something that flashes in his eyes at that. She ignores it though and thankfully he does not lean into it further. Kit doesn’t need someone flirting with her in front of her niece.  He turns to Cora. “I am Lord Uzui Tengen, God of Festivals!” “He’s one of the Hashira,” Kit says.  “Oh! The best of the best slayers, right?”  “That’s right,” the man says. “The most flamboyant of them all!” Cora giggles at the pose the man makes. Kit has a feeling he’s doing it on purpose. He moves his hands to his hips and stares at them. “Now don’t be boring,” he tells them. “I expect more flashiness when I see you again!”  “Again?”  “We still need to prove you tore a head off,” he says. “Maybe you’ll prove your worth to your god.” “You’re not my god,” Kit says. He just laughs before disappearing.  They stand in silence for a moment as they both glance around, trying to figure out where he went. “Come on,” Kit says. “Let’s get back.”

Dating Uzui Tengen Would Include…

It’s honestly a dream, a flamboyant dream.

He is extremely loving towards you BUT he is still a tease.

Moving on, when the two of you first met it was love at first sight…for him.

He had never seen someone so, quote on quote, “flamboyant.”

For you however, you were probably terrified. Seeing a 6’6 ft man repeatedly yell flamboyant isn’t something that’s exactly settling..

But your here now! Demon slayer or not, you managed to catch his eye. And that’s gotta stand for something, right?!

After giving him a chance and growing close he confessed his feelings in the most flamboyant way possible.

It was probably something along the lines of, “my love for you is like that of the diamonds on my headband. Bright and everlasting! Please be my flamboyant Queen!”

It wasn’t even a question… not that you would say no.

Dating him is wonderful. Although he may seem like the type to be overbearing, he respects your boundaries and will never do anything you are uncomfortable with.

He drinks his respect women juice! But what did you expect? He has 3 other wives!

Speaking of his wives, they love you!

Unlike the first time you met Tengen, his wives draw you in with their polite and subtle nature.

Tengen often finds himself getting jealous of the four of you, especially when you leave him out because of “girls night.” He is the self proclaimed God Of Festivals, how could you possibly shun him!

All in all, his wives love you, he loves you, but anyone else? They cannot love you!

He is the jealous type, not that he’ll ever admit that though.

For example, for your last date you and his wives were walking through the city and a shopkeeper got a little too friendly for Tengens liking. Instead of resolving the matter using his words, Tengen took it to the next level and threatened the man with Kunai.

Needless to say the date ended rather abruptly…

But he made it up to the four of you with his cuddles!

He gives the best hugs. If there was a hugging competition he would win. They are everything you want a hug to be and more.

After all, physical touch is his love language.

Speaking of love languages, words of affirmation are his favourite. Praise him, respect him, and worship the ground he walks on!

Don’t let it confuse you, as much as you may praise him, he does the same, if not more back.

Wether you’re trying on a new kimono or sweaty from training, he will always treat you as though you are the most precious thing in the world, because to him you are✨

It’s a known fact that Hina, Suma and Makio are goddesses in the kitchen. But Tengen…that’s the one thing he isn’t the god of.

He tries his best, he really does. But between the yelling, the mess and all the chaos he really doesn’t make the greatest chef.

If you can cook then that’s great because you’ll be helping the other wives in the kitchen and probably holding Makio back from scolding him. (I also believe he isn’t a picky eater so whatever you make for him he will eat.)

If you cannot cook then that’s okay to. Instead of being in the kitchen, you would be assigned the task of keeping Tengen occupied and most importantly, AWAY FROM THE KITCHEN.

On special occasions Tengen goes all out. And by all out, I mean ALL OUT. Hundreds of roses fill the house by the time you wake up. His gifts would probably range from a personally designed kimono made from the highest quality of silk, to matching jewelry.

But him being the romantic he is, he probably gives you a piece of jewelry engraved with his name. It’s surprisingly simple but nevertheless, still flamboyant✨

All in all dating Tengen would be wonderful, chaotic and everything in between!
