✒️  Synopsis de LA SHILRA – Tome 2 de MERRY LEE :  

Plusieurs mois se sont écoulés depuis la tentative d’assassinat avortée des Shurapät Mayaläc. Le groupuscule semble avoir disparu. Malgré tout, Miguel Ángel – l’alpha des panthères-garous – continue d’entraîner Merry au combat comme on affûte une lame : avec une assiduité extrême. Leur amour n’en est que plus brûlant. 

De son côté, la Shilra rencontre quelques difficultés à maîtriser la magie originelle. Chacune de ses tentatives se solde par un résultat imprévisible.  Un matin, Merry découvre que son patron et meilleur ami, Dan McAlly, a embauché une sulfureuse blonde sentant bon l’océan et chantant le ressac. Contrairement à son entourage, elle ne se laisse pas charmer par cette étrange femme, persuadée qu’elle n’a pas fait irruption dans leur vie par hasard. 

Indépendamment, la journaliste doit couvrir le mariage de la petite-fille du notable le plus redouté de la côte ouest. Thomas DeGuilmore l’aborde à la cérémonie et lui propose une alliance qu’elle refuse avant même d’en connaître les particularités. Erreur. Merry se retrouve alors au cœur d’une dangereuse conspiration. Encore une fois, sa vie est en péril.
