Reposted from @good.great.god To help us determine which kind of woman we are, we’re going to look at two lists. 👀 One is a list of women the world deems outstanding, and the other list is the characteristics of a godly woman from various scriptures, i.e. a woman of the Word. Worldly women have to work fastidiously to get to where they are and maintain it. Life is all about them. Any woman who chooses to chase after fame, money, and possessions is worldly. Based on the Bible’s definition, a woman of the word is holy, temperate, and loving. She is a discreet woman who is faithful. A woman of the word is a virtuous woman-Proverbs 31:10-31. She fears the Lord and walks in wisdom. The Bible says that men look on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart (1Samuel 16:7). A woman of the word focuses on having a clean heart, a sober mind, a submissive spirit, and a surrendered will. 👉🏻 Read, study, and apply the Bible to become a woman of the word👈🏻 The more time we spend with Jesus, who is the Word made flesh, the more the Bible soaks down into our souls. When it’s in us, God’s word will naturally pour out of us. That is how we are transformed from women of the world to women of the word. We learn the word of God and live it out!🕊 1 John 2:15 “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. What are you believing God for in 2020?

I’m believing for God spiritual awakenings, revival & for Him to use His children to save the lost, the outcasts, those that society ignores, LGBTQ+ community, homeless, orphans, widows, immigrants, etc. why? Because they’re God’s creation too. And they’re precious. And it’s time to stop judging because:

1. That’s not our job to judge. 🗣 We’re in no place to judge. That’s God’s doing, and He’s loving, righteous and Just and perfect.

2. We were once lost, mistreated and overlooked. We need to love on another. Who are we to judge? In the Bible, it talks about how We love because God loved us first. Also that we love God and others. Those are the greatest commandments.

Let’s get off of our butts and share the love and light that God gives us to others who are lost and hungry for a savior they don’t even know they need yet. Amen 🙏🏼

Ephesians 1:4 NIV The world is full of visions and purposes. Your job wants you to perform a role. You are taught through media to seek purpose in romantic relationships and partners. You try to win the approval of your communities and rise to the top. We are always fighting to be chosen by the best company, sexiest spouse and for popularity. But, the reality is that we have already been chosen by the greatest of them all... God God designed you with purpose and intention. God designed you to bring light and life into the world. Every time you choose to follow His voice, you step into that calling and when we sin, you deviate from the God who chose you Being chosen is an honor, but it is also a responsibility. When you are chosen for a job, there are expectations for you to live up to and the same is true of God choosing you Why live for God? What if He tells you to do something you don't want to do? Because, the greatest life, joy and peace is found in God's calling. You work for a company. How much greater is it to work for the God of the universe? Why trust your heart to another person who will at some point let you down, when you can trust your heart to God, who wants what is best for you and will never leave you? You are chosen.
