things i noticed: after seeing bullet train four times!

spoilers? (probably)

tangerines cuff links are little gold chains.

the prince’s ‘makeup bag’ shown on the table is a momon pouch.

tangerine has a west ham (football club) sticker on his phone case.

^^ during the flashback to the twins as kids they’re watching a west ham match, their club song is ‘im forever blowing bubbles’.

^^ which is why it plays during the count of the seventeen body’s they killed before getting on the train.

^^ im also pretty sure one of the tattoos tangerine has on his forearms is the west ham clubs initials and something above it that is significant to their team (considering im from england you’d expect me to know abt stuff like this, i don’t)

ladybug is wearing three necklaces, one has big diamond beads on it :]

maria, ladybugs handler, calls him ‘little ladybug’ when she first assigns the nickname.

ladybugs socks are white with little yellow stripes.

in the book, the briefcase is actually a suitcase, in the movie, when lemon confronts prince about the case he says something along the lines of, “most people would assume it’s a suitcase with the train being overnight.”

the momon plush tangerine uses to silence his gun when he shoots the door is then used by one of the men with the white death to try and suffocate yuichi, he then kills the same man using the plush.

ladybug has his wasabi pees in a little glass bowl before the fight with hornet.

the only time tangerine seems threatened is when lemon talks back to him.

the marks on yuichis neck are visible from when prince tased him.

ladybugs hair starts to go curly after getting wet from wrestling the snake into the toilet (i thought it was cute okay im sorry).

im pretty sure the prince had another bag on the train, a bigger bag. you can see it in one of the luggage cubbies (im not sure if it’s when tangerine gets kicked out of the train or not but it might be that scene) it has a hot pink pompom keychain attached to it.

ladybug wears a big silver ring on his right (might be left, you never know these days with mirror imaging and stuff) ring finger.

ladybug does a little wiggle when he’s trying to fix the wires on the train.

and for all my fellow tangbug shippers

when ladybug finds tangerine and prince, tangerine immediately says ladybugs name.

at the end of the film, after prince gets hit by the truck, yuichi throws a tangerine to ladybug and ladybug smiles.

it was said in an interview that they experimented with a sea urchin but didn’t keep it in, you can see it on the counter during the ladybug and tangerine fight scene, when tangerine goes to grab the chopsticks (i assume this means tangerine was going to be the one to use it on ladybug)

when tangerine pays for ladybugs water his money is in an envelope not a wallet.

lemon shouts at kimura about the prince being “kiera knightly!” (i thought it was funny because aaron is in a movie with her!!)

at the end of the film when the prince is still alive, ladybug recommends a book on “surviving borderline personality disorder.” insinuating he also has bpd.

One Piece x Overlord AU

Momonga is sent into the One Piece although without Nazerick and makes friends with Luffy while he’s a kid and he goes on a few journeys in East Blue and meets up with Luffy and Logue Town and becomes part of the crew. He wears a mask and gloves (I’d say he’s wearing that outfit he wore at the coliseum he just added a hood to it) so only Luffy knows he’s a skeleton. How would this change the story of One Piece?

-First of all- Brook would be offended- there’s only room enough for one talking skeleton thank you very much, lol.

-In all seriousness though, Momonga could easily decimate any opponent he came across, from other pirates who wanted his wealth and bragging rights, marines who were after him for his bounty, as he had unintentionally got a very powerful one, after he woke up in this world, on the ship of a Celestial Dragon Family, and killed all of their guards, after they attacked him first and killed all three of the Celestial Dragons.

-He was initially exasperated with himself after he learned this, learning about who he attacked, but he didn’t feel bad, especially after he learned how they treated others.

-Luffy was the first person to see him without his hood, and instead of attacking him, Luffy was like a child, sparkly-eyed with a huge smile, “You look so cool!!”

-Luffy was odd, especially with his monstrous appetite and Devil Fruit abilities, being able to stretch to inhuman lengths, but Momonga couldn’t help but like Luffy- he was so free, so cheerful, but also so loyal- he was a good friend.

-The two parted after some shenanigans, Momonga growing his reputation and bounty and helping Luffy get his first bounty, but they promised to meet again.

-It wasn’t until the New World, after Momonga had become a Yonko himself, being the only one who didn’t have a crew- as he could handle anything by himself, which made the government nervous, plus he didn’t care if you were a Celestial Dragon or not- if anything that made him more of a target, when he and Luffy reunited.

-Monoga wouldn’t fight by himself, per say, as he would summon his Death Knights to fight for him, allowing them to weaken his enemies and even kill them if they were weak enough.

-The Straw Hats were locked in a fierce battle, a marine ship on their side, with powerful warriors, vice admirals on both, when the sky suddenly went dark as the wind picked up.

-Nami could tell that this wasn’t natural, and they all heard a voice, “Seems like you could use a hand, Luffy.”

-Luffy looked up, a bright smile on his face, “Momonga!!” all gazes went up, seeing the fifth Yonko hovering high above the three ships, a mask over his face and a long robe covering him, hiding him from the views of all.

-The marines were immediately panicking, as they had been able to hold their own against Luffy’s crew, for the most part, but to see Momonga there as well, they were quickly at a disadvantage.

-Luffy’s crew were shocked, seeing that he knew another Yonko as he leapt up, hugging him with a loud cheer, which did make him chuckle softly.

-Moments later, the marines were gone, their ships sunk and Luffy was introducing him, but Momonga needed no introductions.

-When he pulled his mask off, revealing himself, Brook was shocked, collapsing to his knees, surrounded by gloom, “I’m being replaced!” Luffy just laughed, assuring him that he was not being replaced, and that he was like this naturally, not due to a Devil Fruit, which did raise some questions.

-Momonga remained with them for a while, getting to know his friend’s crew, and while freaked out at first, they were all quick to warm up to him, making him feel welcome.

-When a newspaper, one that shook the world arrived, Momonga couldn’t help but laugh loudly, seeing the headline, seeing that he had supposedly joined the Straw Hats and people were freaking the freak out!!

-Luffy just puffed his chest with pride, a bright grin, “It’s official then! I’m now your captain!!” if it had been anyone else, Momonga probably would have laughed at them, but he didn’t mind, the attention and panic was very amusing.

-Luffy would very easily become the Pirate King- as Momonga knows he could beat Luffy, but he doesn’t want to, he likes seeing his young friend so happy. With Momonga’s help, there would be nobody who could stand up to the Straw Hats, not even all the admirals working together would be able to do a thing to two Yonko, Luffy and Momonga working together.

-Pirates would easily take over the world, but Luffy would keep everyone in check, as that was his dream, to create a world where everyone could have as much of whatever they wanted, so they never had to want for anything!

-Momonga had to respect that, and he had no issues disciplining or destroying those who would challenge or offend his friend and his crew, but there weren’t many who were foolish enough to even think about challenging the strongest in the world, not if they wanted to walk away.

Ainz Ooal Gown - Overlord

This is one of my favorite anime, I really like the designs and story of Overlord.

Lord Momonga (whose name would later change to Ainz Ooal Gown), is the leader of a guild within a virtual game. When the server ends, Momonga is transported to another world. But he does not arrive alone, many of the characters created by his former friends travel with him. Which begin to have their own consciousness.

Momonga sets out to discover this world and conquer it so he can find his old friends (if they also ended up in this world). I love the opening and ending endings of the series, as well as the beautiful images that accompany the songs.

Sometimes I like to watch the series again because it has its funny moments. And I am on a mission to read the novel to find out more details.

"Lord Momonga, how would you like today's tea?" A maid asked, the tall figure of (Name) right beside her, looking at the strong skeleton with a happy face.

《In YGGDRASIL, even skeletons could 'eat' and 'drink', (while the food falls between their bones, it fades away and gives the character MP, or even helps heal them when their HP is too low, and the drinks are helpful for when they use drink based potions, i.e. Healing potions or invisibility potions.)》

The both of them had inhuman heads, the maid having the head of a dog, while the butler had the head of a jackle, however, both still havimg the same functions as humans, just more intense.

"Hm..? Oh- I would like to try something new today..." The overlord said, trailing off in an attempt to be confident.

'Can I even drink tea? Wouldn't it just fall through my bones? How does that work?' The skeleton thought, bringing one of his hands up to his chin as he did, finally thinking about how different things could be in this new world, not noticing how the tall butler and the shorter maid looked at each other panicked, silently conversing with their eyes.

"O-oh... How would you like it? Sweet? Or not? Bland or elegant? Mature or kiddish?" The maid asked, asking all of the questions that made both of them panic.

"O-oh... Just surprise me."

'SURPRISE?? What does he mean 'surprise him'?!'

"Lord Momonga! It's time for tea. Rest assured, we intend to 'surprise' you!" The maid said, bowing her head with the butler, looking at each other uncertainly as they pushed a cart in...

Full of tea cups, full of different types and flavors of tea, some sugary, some minty, some even spicy, and some bland.

'A SURPRISE?! I DON'T THINK I'D EVEN BE ABLE TO FINISH THAT!'

"O-oh... Ahem, thank you, please just set it right by my desk..." The overlord said, acting confident again, while the pair of servants smiled, pushing it by the desk happily before they stood by, wanting to watch him drink the tea.

'... They aren't moving... Are they like children..?' The skeleton thought, invisibly sweating at the intense eyes of the pair of servants.

'Should I..? I don't even think that I'd be able to drink it... Let's just try...' He thought, grabbing the handle of one cup, bringing it up to his slightly opened jaw, letting it fall inside...

Before it spilled onto his chair.

'I thought it would...' The supreme skeleton thought, glancing at his now wet garments with a dark cloud around his head.

'HUH? IT FELL? IT SPILLED? BUT LORD AINZ CAN DRINK TEA? HUH?' The two servants thought, ears going straight up and mouths opening with shock, eyes widened at the looked at the overlord.

"Sorry, you two... Turns out that the surprise was pointless after all..." The skeleton said, slowly getting up to teleport to his room, intending to change his robes, not noticing the gloomy aura the two had, ears going back sadly and eyes hidden in a shadow.

"The tea... All the tea... I'm sorry, Lord Momonga..." The maid said, speaking for the two as the butler slowly turned around, facing the wall with shame.

"O-oh... No worries, Pestonya... Is... Is (Name) alright? He seems quite... Depressed." Ainz asked, looking at the quiet butler, still sulking at the wall.

"Of course! Please, wait a moment!" Pestonya said, nodding quickly before grabbing the cart, pushing it to (Name), telling him to bring it back to the kitchen, to which he nodded, his ears still down with sorrow, pushing the cart out slowly which Pestonya and Ainz watched until he finally left the room.

"Lord Momonga... Could you perhaps... Talk to (Name)? Ever since Supreme Being Ankoro Mocchi Mochi has left us... I fear that (Name) believes that he could have stopped Lord Ankoro from leaving. I believe only you can talk some sense into him." Pestonya began, talking to Ainz as she bowed her head and explained sadly, the skeleton staring back at her blankly, his glowing red eyes(?) Almost staring into her soul, making her sweat nervously.

"... Ankoro... Hm... Alright. Please, call (Name) back once he puts the cart back." Ainz said, dismissing the maid who nodded, exiting before she messaged (Name), whose ears perked up as the chime of the message, bringing a hand up to his ears as he answered.

"(Name), Lord Momonga would like to speak with you. Please meet with him after you place the cart back."

"Hm."

"(Name), please, take a seat. I'd like to speak to you." Momonga said, gesturing to the chair in front of his desk calmly, (Name) almost sweating in anxiety as he rapidly thought about what he did to be called in by the Supreme Being.

"..." Slowly, he sat down calmly, looking at Momonga quickly before averting his gaze elsewhere, still not talking.

"Now... I understand that you've been wondering about your creator, Ankoro Mocchi Mochi." The skeleton said, making the butler sweat more nervously, gripping his purple suit pants tightly, almost tearing into it.

"..." Still not talking, he just looks down dejectedly.

"It's not your fault. Ankoro decided to leave on her own. She loved you, one of her dear creations. But she had problems of her own... Slowly it became too much and she decided to leave. No one could have stopped her, not even I." Momonga explained gently, telling the butler a bit about his creator, making him slowly lose his grip, ears dipping down lightly in sadness. Momonga watched sadly, his red eyes almost tearing into the butlers soul, examining how he reacted, slowly getting up and walking to him to see him eye-to-eye.

"..." The butler still sat there quietly, sadness so evident in his eyes as he thought about Ankoro, how he continuously thought about what he could have done better, how he could have helped her stay, how he could have behaved to make her stay for them.

"Don't blame yourself for the inevitable. Ankoro would have still left, it was only a matter of time. But you still have your sisters. The guild of Ainz Ooal Gown is your family. As long as I am here, I swear, you will never have to feel like that ever again." Momonga said, looking over the butler before gently placing his boney hand on his shoulder, offering him some comfort as he began to tear up.

"... Thank you..." He finally said, voice rough and scratchy from how long he hadn't spoken.

"Do not thank me, (Name). It is my duty as the Guild Leader to make sure my subjects are happy. All of you are dear to me, as if you were my children... Please, let me be your comfort in these times."
