Random thoughts: authors can go less passionate as their (usually) long fics progress. I have seen that often enough and it is of course absolutely without any judge to the authors because life is hard and it can really hamper the ignition that started the fic. But it has been years and you still care so much and have so much details in Sosken. The plot keeps thickening and there has never been a rush feeling to your story. Thousands of admiration for you, honestly.

OMG, Nony!!! Thank you so fricking much for your words. It means so much to see people like and enjoy the story, even after years since I started. I guess a big part of the reason why I still love and put a lot of care into the chapters is the Frozen fandom and how sweet you guys are. They're all really supportive and understand when I need to stop for a bit to order my ideas or rest for a while. Because it's true, life happens as we enjoy our hobby and sometimes it's difficult to find the right inspiration. But you always help me keep going.

And since you mentioned it, the last month went by faster than I ever imagined, so I couldn't post as planned. But the good thing is I'm only a month away from my holidays. I get what you mean! And to be fair, if it is stated, tagged, that the characters are exploring I'll read with that in mind ofc, the problem is when it isn't. You know when you're really excited like yeah finally a fic with x y z and then it's not quite that? It's like "heavy something" and then it's not? 😭

Yeah I get you, it’s like you get catfished in a fic cause you’re told you’re getting something and when you read it, it’s not executed the way it’s explained or expected. Like if it’s heavy degradation, make it heavy full stop, cause that’s the point of warnings and tagging lol. If you’re about it, then be about it type of deal. But there’s also levels to the degradation/humiliation in the first place and I think people get nervous about being judged for writing something that can be seen as potentially “abusive” even though it’s a scenario happening between two consenting adults that want to partake in that.

I hear you tho anon, I’ve been meaning to write a heavy/harsh degradation fic, it just takes a lot out of me and I know we’ve been seeing a lot of that content anyway but I want the humiliation (to a degree lmao). Hopefully there will be a fic out there that caters to all of your desires without the awkwardness of those check-ins!
