Relationships Headcanon in the Ark & Nemesis

- Ratchet, Velocity, First Aid, and Minerva bitch about everybody after a long day. They have a group chat called Tired Medics

-Bumblebee, Rodimus, and Windblade act like siblings.

- Jazz and Blaster are best friends and they have a very strong friendship, very supportive of each other’s relationships with Prowl and Soundwave respectively… despite sometimes worrying about each other’s happiness.

- Bumblebee, Jazz, Blaster, Blurr, and Mirage are also hang out a lot as their jobs connect together and they are often giggling together.

- Rodimus, Springer, Blurr, and Arcee are conjoined together and have their own little friend group.

- Perceptor, Nautica, Brainstorm, Wheeljack, Greenlight, Lancer, and Skyfire are a chaotic bunch and you should run if they are in the lab together… especially when it’s Brainstorm and Wheeljack.

- Ratchet and Wheeljack are amiable exes who raised Dino bots together.

- Blaster, Windblade, Bumblebee, Sandstorm, Blurr, Cosmos, and Lightbright sigh over the fact that the love of their lives are the enemies… Soundwave, Starscream, Blitzwing, Octane, Swindle, Blast Off, and Sparkstalker think of them often.

- Same group of cons are glaring daggers at Breakdown and Knockout whenever the couple are canoodling.

- Cyclonus and Thundercracker bailed and are living their life with Tailgate and Marissa. Misfire and The Scavengers bailed too and Misfire canoodles with Swerve.

-The triple changers from both sides go drinking together.

- Don’t let Tracks, Powerglide, Blurr, Sunstreaker, Slingshot, and Mirage work together at Once… nothing can be achieved.

- Drift and Ratchet, Prowl and Jazz, Soundwave and Blaster, Hound and Mirage, Breakdown and Knockout, BW Silverbolt and Blackarachnia, Tracks and Raoul, Starscream and Windblade, Blitzwing and Bumblebee, Swindle and Blurr, Arcee and Greenlight, Dinobot and Optimus Primal, AND SHOCKINGLY Ultra Magnus and Rodimus are all the “PLEASE GET A ROOM” Couple.

- “Shameless but Cute” couples are Blast Off and Cosmos, Sparkstalker and Lightbright, Dust Up and Jumpstream, Powerglide and Astoria, Cyclonus and Tailgate, Road Rage and Náutica, Roadhandler and Cecelia, Skids and Charlene, Seaspray and Alana, Crankcase and Cons4Eva, Misfire and Swerve, Thundercracker and Marissa, Afterburner and Lightspeed, Octane and Sandstorm, and Tigatron and Airazor.

- First Aid has feelings for Springer and gets all flustered when he is around while Firestar stumbles and crushes hard on Velocity. Slingshot yearns for Silverbolt while there is a love triangle between Red Alert, Inferno, and Smokescreen as the two long for Inferno but Inferno loves Red Alert.

- Couples that are mostly “on the downlow and fuck like rabbits behind close doors” are BW Megatron and BW Inferno, Megaempress and Flowspade, Loudpedal and Exhaust, Perceptor and Brainstorm (but it seems mostly one sided… or is it?)

- Need “love advice”? Ask the sexiest not there is… KUP.

-Seaspray, Beachcomber, Hound, and Skids talk nature together and they with Alana and Charlene go on nature expeditions. Mirage would come but he doesn’t like getting dirty.

- Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, and Bluestreak are a chaotic bunch and are up to any antics.

- Swindle and Smokescreen drunkly gambled together… once… no one knew what happened that night afterward.

- Onslaught is just tired, Vortex and Brawl share a brain cell but Blast Off holds it in tight custody.

- Grimlock enjoys spending time with the Scavengers and could be seen napping together.

- Prowl and Jazz spar a lot together. Jazz being the better fighter as Prowl can’t help but feel… drawn to it. His conjunx finds it adorable.

-Ratchet and Drift are conjunx and they practically had a los Vegas wedding, Ratchet finds it amusing and cute that Drift laments on giving him the ‘proper’ wedding,

- Rewind has bad taste in men.

- Mirage and Sunstreaker don’t like each other.

- Mirage likes to get dirty… with Hound. Poor Cliffjumper walks in on them a lot.

- Ratchet does the same with Rodimus and Ultra Magnus, Blaster with Jazz and Prowl, and Wheeljack with Ratchet and Drift. The Stunticons with Knocoout and Breakdown. Nautica HEARD Perceptor and Brainstorm but that’s it.

- Bumblebee and Windblade once asks Optimus about dating the enemy (regarding about Blitzwing and Starscream) and Optimus sighs thinks of Megatron.

- Ironhide would fuck Optimus in a heart beat. Chromia would gladly sleep with Elita One.

- Thunderclash has a crush on Rodimus but it’s one sided… my poor man.

- Rodimus thinks it’s a bit funny, adorable, and amusing Springer’s sheer obliviousness but tells him to keep his eyes out for potential lovers… you’d be surprise who you might fall in love. *nudges First Aid*.

-Fort Max and Cerebros comfort Red Alert and try to figure put how to help him woo Inferno.

- Mirage has an amusing relationship with Sideswipe… a good one though.

- Arcee and Lancer don’t get along. Greenlight is sighing heavily in the back as her conjunx and ex glare daggers at each other.

- Hardhead, Brainstorm, and Highbrow are estranged and talk trash about each other behind each other’s backs.

- Tracks, Road Rage, Loud Pedal, and Needlenose talk trash about each other too while Raoul and Nautica stare nervously at Exhaust and Horri Bull as they glance suspiciously at each other.

- Raoul, Astoria, Marissa, Cecelia, and Charlene are all beside Alana and Cons4Eva and sighing heavily at the chaos.

TFA Oppy breeding anon.

Ratchet knowing the bitties Optimus is carrying will be huge, even bigger than the Dinobot bitties, so deciding that someone else needs to stay at base at all times to make sure those Cons don’t try and take Oppy again. He also makes sure only Prowl, Bee, and Swoop mate with Optimus since they’re the smallest out of all them and they cannot let the bitties get any bigger. Snarl is a bit upset he can’t help with the fluid, but Grimlock puts him in his place. Grimlock might not like it, but he understands the situation they’re in.

The bitties see that mama is happy so are also happy, but can tell something is upsetting their sires, so all six of them decide to try and cheer them up. It doesn’t fix the problem, but the six bitties being adorable does lift their spirits.

During the carrying, when only Snarl and Bee where at base with Oppy (Snarl as a guard and Bee giving him fluid), Blitzwing tried to yoink Optimus, but almost got his wing ripped off by rage-furled Snarl. Meanwhile Optimus felt one of the sires of this litter nearby, but couldn’t move because Bee’s now very confident when fucking Oppy and keeping his attention on him.

Blitzwing goes back in a huff and tells Megatron, and the Decepticon leader decides that will not do. They keep a watch, finding out who is breeding Oppy and who is just a guard, then deciding to strike when the guard is Bulkhead and the chosen fluid donator is Swoop. Blitzwing and Lugnut are the ones distracting the others and Megatron heads to Optimus.

Luckily for Megatron, it’s still a good bit before the bitties are due. He easily wrecks Bulkhead before he can alert the others and defeats and knocks out Swoop in even less time. Megatron nearly stops this plan when he hears one of the bitties nearby, but he manages to shoo them off back to berth by telling that mama Oppy needs fluid from sire and that these mecha tried to keep him from the carrier. The bitty accepts that and goes back to the nest while Megatron carefully takes Optimus, whose valve is in full display while some transfluid dribble down.

He licks that open valve, making sure to clean it if any of Swoop’s transfluid before stuffing his spike in. Optimus is so blissed out and he can’t complain, valve trying to milk that massive spike for the fluid it craves. Like, he can tell that the spike isn’t one of his teammate’s or the dinobot’s, but he’s happy and blissed out and he can feel this is one of this litter’s sires so why should he complain?

The crew and dinobots manage to defeat Lugnut and Blitzwing, but when the duo try to contact Megatron, he doesn’t answer and they both know that the Bots will not like that at all. Lugnut sends a message anyways, warning his lord, and they go back to their base.

However, when the bots get back to the plant, they see Bulkhead knocked out and they rush to see Optimus while Ratchet looks over him and curses. When they get to the room Optimus is kept in, Swoop is knocked out in a corner and it’s very clear Megatron just finished up with Oppy. The Decepticon lord grins at them while putting the carrier back down, gives them some choice words, then bolts out of there like a bat out of hell.

Once they wake up, Bulkhead is so upset at himself and Swoop is acting like a wilted flower. Ratchet is checking Oppy’s health while the rest of the crew comforts them. The medic finds out that Megatron’s… donation sped along the timeline due to the transfluid coming from one of the proper sires and the birth will be sooner than they expected.

And Ratchet knows he’ll have to remove the bitties via surgery due to how big they are. He also knows that Optimus will be in so much pain and he’ll need all the help he can get. Maybe, just maybe, Ratchet has to bite the bullet and contact Swindke to get the pain blockers he needs for the upcoming surgery, because he does not Oppy in that much pain while it happens and he just doesn’t have that kind of medicine available on this mud ball of a planet.

the thought of Optimus being almost completely undisturbed by all of this… his pregnancy kink does turn him a little stupid, you have to admit. When Megatron finally slips his giant spike into his poor valve, Optimus is just so overcome. With everything. Finally, the sire of the sparklings is here and he’s going to give him compatible transfluid. He’s grinding back against him, shuddering when Megatron rubs his fat, pregnant belly.

It’s a pity the babies will have to be removed surgically… it’s a big litter, though, Optimus really should have given more thought to who he allows to breed him, though you know the rest of the team doesn’t blame him for what the decepticons have done to him. It’s really Optimus’ longest recovery so far, his gestation tank was cut into and needed time to heal, so he was mostly on bed-rest once the bitties were out, and the others had to help his sparklings into the bed if he wished to see them…

It’s only a matter of time before the ’Cons decide they want the sparklings they’ve sired for themselves. They’re not letting those wonderful, strong little warframes get raised by a rag-tag group of autobots and some primitive beastformers! They probably start off with attacking the autobots and demanding the young be sent to them. Optimus probably feels terrible. He’s still got some post-surgery pains, his bitlets are distressed without their sires, but he knows he can’t just let Megatron have them. His carrier’s instincts are going haywire and the entire time he feels guilty for being unable to control his breeding kink :(

On a lighter note, cue the weirdest custody battle anyone had ever seen. It’s actually just the Decepticons and Autobots kidnapping the bitlets back and forth. They do spend a little more time with the ’Cons since the Autobots still have several other sparklings to keep an eye on and you can’t blame them for miscounting them every now and then.

I hope Optimus heals quickly <3 his breeding protocols are for sure gonna kick in hard and fast.

(RiD2015) Bee angst cause why not, if it's ok at least.

So like, what if Bee almost kills a con because of a PTSD attack?

There was the good days, for Bee Team.

Days where they could take down a Con with ease, where they didn't need back up, didn't need to worry about old wounds being opened.

Had this been one of those days, they wouldn't have had to see what they did that day.

Another of Steeljaw's rogues had been on the rampage, and it was getting on Bee's nerves, especially with how Sides and Strongarm refused to work together, because of yet another argument they brought back with them onto the field.

And then, to make it worse, Grimlock was hurt.

Actually hurt. And it took a lot to down a Dinobot, and that had Bee on edge. And the straw that broke the camels back, was that Russell, who had snuck with Sides, wanting to help, was now the target of this Con.

He was sprinting to Russell, when the Con, who had some form of electric control, sent a current through the air, that struck both Bee and Russell as he tried to shield him. And he opened his eyes to seeing the boy unconscious, and pale.

And suddenly, all Bee could see wasn't Russell.

He saw Raf. He was back in that moment, when Dark Energon struck them both, when Megatron nearly killed the 12 year old, who Russell sometimes reminded him of.

His breathing grew heavier, and suddenly, all Bumblebee could see, was red.

Placing Russell away danger, he shouted orders, without a hint of the playful, tired but caring tone he had.

That mask slid into place, and the weapons he held in his hands were dropped, as he lunged for the Con. It pained him, but he forced his old war mods out, and he flew on instinct.

Energon blast after blast, moving faster than the Con could react.

His team watched, both in awe, and in horror. This was not their Bee.

This was a warrior. Someone who had fought the war and survived.

And every blast, every punch, every hit, it sunk in more, that Bee was not stopping.

It took Grimlock tackling him, and using his entire bodyweight, though it pained him after the fight he'd had, to hold Bee down, as the red, war filled rage began to fade, slowly, from Bee's eyes.

But it was just a peek at what the old Bee was like.

The one they were lucky, they hadn't been the target of.

The one that survived Megatron, multiple times.

The one that died, and came back.

And they were now afraid. Realizing that there were still things they'd yet to know about their leader.

How is the Dino Optimus Timeline changed now that Zeke is captured? Do Riener and Bertholdt even try to escape after witnessing Zeke's ass getting roasted and Megatron appearing out of nowhere?

What if Optimus was able to transform into a Dinobot

Honestly, this was also meant as one of the gag stories, but I can try to continue this.

Of course, Reiner and Bertholdt are backed into a corner. First there was Optimus Prime, then it turns out that Optimus has some secret dinosaur form that is just full of rage and anger and can breathe fire! With nearly killed Zeke! Oh and to top it all off, Megatron is here! So that's just icing on the cake!

But based on Zeke's appearance and the amount of titan they saw in Wall Rose, they have to assume that Marley is here somehow. If they learn that Zeke is gone, they could start an invasion. The problem is, they don't know the location of the Jaws or even the Founding Titan.

The good news is that even though the Survey Corps have been suspicious of them for a while, they are completely distracted by the newcomer and Optimus' new titan form. However, Zeke is heavily guarded, and they can't pull him out. Zeke is still interrogated about his origins and how he brought titans within the walls. And he doesn't crack...until Megatron shows up and does his shit. Because he's angry Optimus isn't telling him anything about the whole Dinobot situation and RescueBots, so he needs to take it out on someone!

Megatron: The titans are humans.

The Survey Corps:....

Eren:....

Hanji: Well, I think I'm depressed.

Meanwhile, the Marleyans and Pieck are wondering what happened to Zeke. He hasn't met at the rendezvous. Pieck is ordered to investigate the situation, so she poses as someone who was scrambling to find a way to Wall Sina but couldn't reach it. Pieck is able to sneak in, and she learns that damning information that Reiner and Bertholdt are learning. She knew that she needed to find them and get them out. The mission was clearly lost, and if there were two new titans, one that was able to incapacitate Zeke, Marley needed to cut their losses.

Pieck is able to locate the titan shifters, and demands to know what's going on. They explain what happened, and Pieck is stunned. Three of the titans are either gone or captured?! She knew that this mission was bound to fail. It was a testament to Marley's foolishness, but Annie was captured and Marcel was gone! Pieck makes the decision for them: they needed to go now! Reiner and Bertholdt plead with Pieck to at least try to get Annie back, and there is an extreme amount of pushback, but Pieck says if they can do it without tipping anyone off, then fine.

However after some digging, they realize that Annie's been taken...by the ruler of the Walls. So has Eren. So now, it's a race against the clock between Survey Corps and Warriors to see who will get to Annie and/or Eren first.

(There are a few other notes that I want to develop for this Coup, so I need to wait a little bit before writing it down. Because I have a few interesting ideas.)

Hello, I have more Earthspark theories and observations! Spoilers for episodes 11-18 and welcome under the cut!

Observation about Grimlock!

I noticed that despite being controlled by Mandroid's device, he was holding back against Bumblebee! It's especially noticeable when you see him more actively chasing and firing at Terrans (he doesn't know them, makes sense) or how controlled Hashtag was acting!

In fact, we can see Grimlock shaking and hesitating to attack when Bee was talking to him. Even after he bit Bee's arm, he still didn't even aiming at Bee with fire, even tho Bumblebee was right in front of him!

( Note: idk why, but I suddenly remember the moment from Norse mythology, when Fenrir bites Tyr's hand! Sure gods wanted to chain him, but Tyr was the one who raised him. Bee must be really good with dinobots, maybe one of few friends they have and Grimlock was forced to hurt him. Gosh I can't wait for new episodes to see all the drama!)

No wonder Grim went into rage mode after the device was removed from him. To express all this shit he went through while being controlled. He needs a hug!

A little theory about Bee and GHOST.

I keep thinking about how it's so strange that Schloder was on Bumblebee's trail. Bee was supposed to be dead to GHOST, and even with energon suppressor, they still were after him! Did someone among bots spilled the beans about Bee?

Or Schloder really saw a yellow car appearing in races ( which tbh is still very far-fetched bc yellow cars aren't rarity ahah) and he decided to catch Bee in all costs during all 15 years? Schloder, as silly as he is, was pretty angry at Bumblebee for "deserting Autobots" and he was talking about Bee like he's some kind-of-evil mastermind who takes advantage of good people like Maltos?

What happened? Did Bee accidentally did something to upset Schloder? Or his sister told him some gross lies about Bumblebee being dangerous to humans? So intriguing!

Another thing that bothers me, that yeah, Optimus is absent right now, which is already sus. The only thing we saw is him sending Bumblebee to find Grimlock according to Bee. And Bee said that Optimus got a tip... from who exactly?

Also, why Optimus would send Bumblebee, who's primary role is scouting and espionage, into basically fight-to-death gladiator matches??? Cmon, there are plenty bots who are stronger and more fit to this mission in hiding I'm sure, so why Bee?

Of course, it can be that Bee was tasked to find Grim, and like Bee he is, decided to prove himself and enter the brawls. And sure, he can fight and even win despite being weak he is. Anways, very curious too!

(UPD: Actually to think about it, I won't surprised if Bee went to brawls himself instead of calling for help bc he might feeling guilty for blowing his cover? So risking his life would be his way to make thing right in a way ( like in old comics when blamed himself for letting Ravage escape on his watch and de decided to capture him solo while Optimus is sulking with self-doubt... only to fall into Decepticon trap. Because he didn't see how exactly Bee is doing yet, only knowing he's sad he can't go home.)

I'm getting the impression that GHOST is after Bee, either to catch him, or even get him killed. But why? During trailer I thought that maybe it was to do with AllSpark bc he was carrying it, but we saw Bee quickly passed it to Op and Megs and it was send back to Cybertron. Yet it feels like Croft has some agenda against Bee in particular. Very curious!

Can't wait for new episodes!

(UPD: maybe Croft got a wind that Optimus wants to make a third cybertronian faction outside of her influence ( which the end of ep 10 gave this idea), and I guess they seen that Bee, while inexperienced, still have some leadership traits and she def doesn't want that. esp if Bee is good with humans as well. this will suck for her… unless she get rid of Bee first)

The resolution and tragedy of Depth Charge’s arc is so fucked up and sexy, actually… There’s the argument to be made that despite his efforts and attempts to let go of his hatred, to remember the others he fights for, Depth Charge ultimately still succumbs to his revenge in the end; Choosing to prioritize killing Rampage, even at the cost of his own life. How Depth Charge starts the battle explicitly trying to dismiss his arch-nemesis to focus on the greater good of stopping the Nemesis, to culminate his growth and maturity by simply letting go. Openly acknowledging he has greater priorities and little time.

But it just takes a few taunts from Rampage to rile him up, and suddenly Depth Charge forgets the Maximal mission in favor of his own, killing the bastard. You see how he goes from composed and professionally focused, to angrily falling apart with a flustered and thoughtless “Shut up!!!” towards Rampage’s jeers, unable to think of a cool-headed retort. All of that progress undone after he worked so hard, from just one interaction that fed back into his bad habits and reawakened them. Depth Charge was finally beginning to distance himself from Rampage and find others to interact with, even other enemies... Only to relapse badly.

Depth Charge’s final words are the most profane, spiteful curse you’ve ever heard, and it doesn’t even use ‘actual’ curse words. He clearly guesses that going in for the kill, instead of ditching Rampage when he’s knocked down and no longer fighting back, will kill him and allow the Nemesis to fly. But Depth Charge goes for it anyway, because what else does he have to live for? When so many have died because of his failure? And Rampage’s laughing triumph, it’s not just for the release of death. It’s the celebration that he’s corrupted his foe, this ‘hero’ seeking justice, and they both die hateful monsters together. Rampage won.

And, not that he cared much for Megatron’s actions afterwards; But getting him and Depth Charge killed allowed Megatron to reactivate the Nemesis, and destroy Tigerhawk too! As well as Inferno and Quickstrike, and the ship’s later explosion also wiped out Dinobot’s clone. So that’s four, arguably five, more people Rampage took down with him, by appealing to Depth Charge’s rage. Amazing.

The final cherry on top is the irony of Optimus thinking that explosion, the intimate death of Depth Charge and Rampage, is a sign that Depth Charge won. Not only that he stopped the Nemesis, but that he died a hero, and that his death wasn’t in vain. But in reality, not only is the Nemesis fully active, but all Depth Charge achieved was a pyrrhic victory, dying in hatred that prioritizes itself over others. His ultimate failure, both himself AND Rampage.

At worst Optimus assumes Depth Charge tried his best and didn’t succeed, but in actuality... They took that secret last fall with each other to the grave. This shit is Shakespearean and not just because Dinobot’s clone was technically involved. Speaking of, you could argue that Depth Charge killing Rampage and freeing him was the right thing to do.

But you could also argue that Depth Charge should’ve focused on his mission and saved killing Rampage for less pressing circumstances, that wouldn’t have endangered Dinobot 2.0 (or Tigerhawk), since he died anyway. Rampage truly saw Depth Charge and said “I can make him worse” and totally succeeded, even got Depth Charge to get others killed, just like he would!

Dear Vector Prime, does Magmatron exist in the Viron cluster?

Dear Dinosaur Denominator,

Not to my knowledge, but there is one individual to whom he bears a very strong resemblance. Like Magmatron, he possessed a tripartite spark which could be split across three separate beast modes, each embodying a different facet of his personality: Overkill, the Gigantosaurus; Divebomb, the Quetzalcoatlus; and Splashdown, the Elasmosaurus. As a combiner, they could merge to form a monstrous beast mode referred to as the “Dinosaurer”, in addition to their robot mode combination. He was named Trypticon—after the monstrous beast from Cybertronian legend.

Trypticon was eternally loyal to the Predacon Council, and was the first leader of the cel that came to be known as the “Dinobots”, named for their prehistoric alternate modes. In fact, Trypticon considered it his right to command all saurian Predacons, using intimidation to recruit even experienced veterans like Reachout, and he demanded viciousness from all of his warriors.

For much of the Cybertronian Civil War, Trypticon's domineering and cruelty went uncontested, but eventually the other Dinobots had enough, and a number of them conspired to bring about his downfall. They prevailed by isolating Trypticon's three components and preying on their individual weaknesses. Overkill was provoked into a berserker rage by Sludge, Snarl and Terrorsaur, who put him down once his mind became consumed by blind anger. For Divebomb, Terranotron and Grimlock took advantage of his pride, luring him high into the sky until he was within firing range of the team's ship, the Megalosaur. As for Splashdown, it was simply a matter of isolating him on dry land, where he was vulnerable to Slapper’s earthquakes and Triceradon’s flame breath.

With Trypticon gone, the power vacuum he left behind drew the Dinobots into infighting. While they shared a sense of relief, some were angry over having been excluded from the scheme, and some took the chance to transfer to new positions within the Predacons. The remaining Dinobots, those who had taken part in the plot, disagreed over who was the team’s rightful leader, and squabbled fiercely until Grimlock was eventually accepted in the role. But once they began dealing with the Predacon Council directly, they had their worst fears confirmed, as it became apparent that the brutal methods they had attributed to Trypticon’s ideology were in fact endemic throughout the faction—and with it seeming increasingly likely that an errant ex-Dinobot would tip off the Council as to what had transpired, they begrudgingly made the decision to defect to the Autobot side. For this, they would pay a steep price, when Terrorsaur was slain by a Predacon bounty hunter… but it was their pursuit of revenge which ultimately united the team, and gave them a righteous purpose.

Across Space and Prime (TFA Optimus, Sentinel, and Blackarachnia in TFP)

Ever since Optimus first onlined on this little planet called Earth, the mech has had more bad days on this planet than he ever had in his entire function.

Every week was something new; he's fought Decepticons, stopped major devastating disasters, was forced to face the mistakes of his past, and even off-lined!

Off-lined then brought back straight from the Well.

So yes, Optimus has had less than a stellar time since coming to this unassuming organic world.

Tonight was another unfortunate incident to add to the list.

Sure, having to deal with Sentinel was usually a chore in itself but it wasn't the reason why this night turned out so bitterly.

It was a mix of him having to chase an innocent but volatile minibot all night, having to deal with Sentinel, the Dinobots making an unexpected appearance, having to chase after Sentinel, having to revisit the horror factory that was the former Prometheus Black lab, and yes having to deal with Sentinel.

But what really ruined this night apart, that set it to a pitfall, was the fact that Sentinel had met Blackarachnia.

Had learned what had become of their dearest lost friend Elita-1.

Optimus will fully admit that he should have told Sentinel about Elita all those lunar-cycles ago, when he and the rest of the Elite Guard had first arrived on Earth. He could state that so much had happened, that he was so distracted from the post-fight with Megatron and his lieutenants, the rebuilding of the city, and the recovery of the All-spark shards that it slipped his mind to take his once close friend to the side and tell his what happened.

But really, he hadn't forgotten....

Half the time that Sentinel was here on Earth the Prime thought about telling him the horrible truth, but honestly, he-he didn't know how.

Didn't know how to tell him without fearing of the explosive rage that Sentinel would no doubt erupt into.

Not that he didn't deserve it, but he couldn't stand the thought of any of that heat or disgust being thrown the femmes way.

Despite what she had become, despite the fact she was a member of the enemy faction.

Blackarachnia was still Elita-1 deep down and Optimus still hopes for the day where he could help her.

Yes, he was aware of her possible crimes and potential devastating things she done under the Decepticons.

But he couldn't help but think if he had simply been there for her, she wouldn't have strayed to such a dark path.

Even if she's never return to her organic form, he just wanted to be there to support her. Share her pain and perhaps help her live a fruitful life despite all the pain she'd gone through.

Do what he didn't due then, held onto his friend and never let her go.

Thats probably what fueled one of his more foolish decisions that night.

As the transwarp energy built to critical mass inside of unstable Waspinator, Blackarachnia had ordered everyone to get away from the upcoming blast.

"This time were not leaving without you"! Optimus insisted

But defiantly the femme shouted back "This time I am"!

Fearlessly she stood face to face with her creation, the recently mutated Wasp, she proceeded to produce webbing from all sides of her in order to cocoon the containment.

An action that would have resulted in her possible termination...and something he couldn't allow.

A big part of Optimus thought of his team, but in the further reaches of his spark he urged himself not to repeat the same mistake as before.

"Blackarachnia"!!!

I won't let you go again, he thought.

Thats why Optimus Prime rushed towards the light of the cocoon, hoping beyond hope to save his old friend.

The last thing he saw before the light completely engulfed him was the outline of the femme in a vortex of green.

He barely felt the light grip on his back and everything went black.

When he next woke up, the Prime cringed at the static that coursed through his processor.

As his optics finally onlined he was shocked to see how dark it was, his digits pressed against a rocky surface as he tentatively lifted himself up.

A sound behind him made him jump and he found himself lighting his shoulder beams.

He gasped as he saw who was besides him.

"Sentinel"!

The navy and orange bot groaned once more, opening his optics at the sound of his voice.

Immediately the other rushed to his fellow Primes side gaging his form for any injuries.

"Sentinel" Optimus said, gently lifting him up by the shoulder for the second time that day "Can you answer me? Are you alright"?

The Prime coughed before pushing him away annoyed "I'm fine" he muttered "Just lay off would you"?!

Optimus simply rolled his eyes at his old friends' attitude.

"Where-where are we"? Sentinel asked finally realizing they weren't outside anymore.

"I'm not sure" Optimus answered honestly

There's a good chance that the blast might have blown them back inside Meltdowns underground laboratory, and if so it was a wonder they were in one piece from the blast.

At the same time everything felt so strange, he had been unfortunate enough to have visited Meltdowns lab before Blackarachnia fully commandeered it. The place had been underground, but it had a uniformed aesthetic to it. Built from the stone exterior of the island's mountain but with metal hallways and smoothed corridors.

Everything just seemed to...rough...as if the cavity they were currently standing in was naturally made.

He didn't have time to dwell on it as he heard a hiss of pain from up ahead, he rushed forward ignoring Sentinels started squawk.

He shone his flashlight around till he caught the shape of a figure crouching from two large stalagmites.

"Blackarachnia"! he shouted relieved and reaching towards her.

Only for the femme to bare her fangs and swipe at his servo.

"Just couldn't let me offline on my own, could you" she spat getting to her pedes.

Unfortunately, Sentinel choose that time to side up to Optimus.

His face immediately turning to disgust as he saw who Optimus had just found "Uh, your here"?

Blackarachnia smiled nastily at that "Aw, you sound disappointed"~

Sentinel growled and immediately drew out his lance "You stay the slag away from me"!

"Oh"~ responded the spider-bot "Scared my techno-organic germs will get all over you"?

Sensing that tension was about to go high Optimus immediately placed himself in between the bots.

"Okay, let's all just calm down" he urged

"Calm down"! said Sentinel outraged pointing to the femme with his lance "She kidnapped Wasp and mutated him! She tried to offline us! And now she's the reason where in this mess"!

The femme simply crossed her arms.

"And fighting one another is what's best at the moment"? stressed Optimus, stretching an arm to gesture to the narrow cavern "Look around Sentinel, would you call this a safe place to engage in anything"?

His friend was silent for a moment before scoffing and thankfully lowering his weapon.

Venting the Prime spoke once more "Now, let's just focus on getting out of here" he said "We needed to figure out a way outside were hopefully our team will meet us"

All of a sudden Blackarachnia began to laugh hysterically.

Noticing Optimus and Sentinel staring she snidely said "Me? Follow you boys down a darkened cave system"? she asked "Correct me if I'm wrong but the last time that happened it didn't turn out so well, for me at least"!

"That wasn't on me! It was Optimus idea"! Sentinel shouted

"Keep telling yourself that sweetspark, because as far as I'm concerned your both at fault"!

Aggravated Optimus shouted "We don't have time to argue about this"! He gave an imploring look to both bots "I understand that none of us have the best history but right now is not the place to hash it out! I don't know where we currently are! Or if it's safe for us! What we need to concentrate on is finding a way out of here"! The prime stared at both of them "Can we please agree to be civil till then"?

Both the femme and the Mech didn't give each other friendly looks. But surprisingly it was Blackarachnia who gestured to what looked like the rest of the cave, if with sarcastic roll of her servo.

"After you my brave mechs"!

Sentinel scoffed before turning his on beams on high and leading the group forward. Optimus stayed in the middle to add as a buffer between the two. As for Blackarachnia she stayed at the tail end, distancing herself between the two mechs. Ether out of distaste for the both of them or as a means to make a quick escape if things turned.... unpleasant while in the cave.

The group stayed silent for the awhile, just following the lights of Sentinel and Optimus bright beams.

From the corner of his optic he could see Blackarachnia creeping behind him, something he also took note of was the way she slightly gripped her chassis.

"Are you alright"? he whispered to her.

The femme rolled her optics annoyed.

"Mind your own, business lover bot"

Optimus figured it wise not to push her but made a point to keep her in his sights.

They all continued on but unfortunately Sentinel was soon crying out in frustration after fiddling with his audials.

"Yeah," Optimus commented "I believe the blast may have fried our comms or maybe the cave is jabbing our signal"

" Why is this taking so long"?! shouted Sentinel "I feel like we've been walking for megacycles"!

Optimus tried to calm his friend down, but then he noticed something up ahead.

"Sentinel-"

"We should have been out by now-"!

"Sentinel, look-"

"-and the others should have found us by now-"

"Sentinel, Look Up Ahead"! Optimus finally snapped

The Prime stopped and finally looked up what was ahead of him.

"Wha-what is this"?

The group had just stepped into a bigger part of the cavern and all around them giant crystals formed out of the rock that glowed an ethereal blue lighting up the cavern. The glow of the rocks was so strong that both Primes turned off their high beams as they inspected the cavern closer.

Optimus tried to run his scanner but is was still glitching like the rest of his opinion, which was a shame since he would have like to try to identify the crystal but if he had to take a good guess it might have been

Crunch.

"Yup, " said Sentinel with a small chunk of the blue crystal in his servo and the other half in his mouth "Its Energon"

Optimus gaped at him.

"Are you serious"! he scolded

"What"? his fellow Prime said defensively

"For someone who disinfects his servo after touching an organic, you seem more than willing to just eat something that's just stuck to the wall of a cave"

Sentinel looked speechless but recovered saying "Well, uh, crystals aren't organic"! before adding "And its Energon, anyone could see that, don't tell me you don't feel like fueling up after everything tonight"?!

"Well I wouldn't go around eating random crystals, even if it was Energon" stated Optimus "And what kind of Energon is blue"?

"Boys are you going to fight all day"? asked Blackarachnia, stepping past them "Or are we going to keep going"?

The two Primes glared at each other before trailing after the femme, but Optimus happen to spot that the other Prime had pocketed the crystal he had been munching on in his hub space.

As the cavern went on Optimus noticed how the crystals along the wall got fewer and the walls were looking more cylindrical, as if they had been made like that with some sort of machinery.

Just the Blackarachnia stopped and ducked behind a large crystal protrusion.

"Hey, what's the holdup-" started Sentinel

But the femme hissed at him to quiet.

Getting concerned Optimus carefully peered over the femme and what he saw made his optics widen.

The cavern ahead was much more illuminated, but not just because of the blue Energon crystals, but of the machinery and the mechs using it. All around the cavern slivery and purple painted Cybertronians with almost featureless characteristics used different tools that screeched and sparked as they harvested the blue Energon around them. Carting them back and forth, transferring them inside large steel crates. Optimus didn't have a good feeling about these mechs, there presence alone made them suspicious, but their coloring and small red visors didn't signal a warm welcome if his group was spotted.

"What is this"? whispered Sentinel

"Heck if I knew" muttered Blackarachnia

"You don't know, you were living here"! said Sentinel outraged

"Use your processor"! snapped the femme "Do you really think were still on the island"?

"Huh"?! Sentinel said confused.

"Hey"!

Optimus cursed silently, it seemed they had been spotted.

With the one mechs call several more of the featureless bots came forward, there servos turning to literal blasters.

"Intruders"! one of them announced drawing closer "We know your there, surrender now or else"!

Optimus was stuck with what to do as Sentinel gave a small distressed sound, actually summoning his shield and making like he was going to charge at the armed bots.

The Prime laid his hand in front of his friend.

"There's too many Sentinel" said Optimus "We have no chance of fighting them all right now"

"So, you expected us to just give up"? asked Sentinel outraged.

"No, I'm asking that we all take a second to strategizes a plan, and quickly" responded Optimus taking note how close the foot steps were coming.

"I said come out now"! called the mech from before, the blaster on his and his comrades arms lighting a sinister red "I won't ask again"!

Blackarachnia at the moment made a humming sound before saying "Well, it was nice knowing you boys"~

Before taking off down the cavern they had just come from.

"Blackarachnia"! Optimus called after her.

Sentinel snorted a humorless laugh "What? Did you really expect her to stay"?

Optimus wished he could rebut Sentinel's statement but there was no arguing, especially now.

Instead he brought out his axe, readying himself alongside his fellow Prime to defend themselves.

But that’s when Blackarachnia made an appearance again, only this time she was slowly walking out of the tunnel hands up and facing something only she could see.

Before Optimus could ask her what was wrong a gruff voice called out to all of them.

"DUCK DOWN"!

Instinctively Optimus and Blackarachnia kneeled low, with the former pulling his fellow Prime down with him despite his squawk of protest.

At that moment from the mouth of the cavern shots of blue laser blast that fired upon the approaching mechs.

Suddenly from out of the cavern entrance a hulking green figured rushed forward along with slightly smaller yellow bot, both hands were transformed into blue energy cannons.

"Hurry and get behind us" growled the large green bot as the opposing side began to fire back with opposing red-hot bolts of plasma.

With his weapon and his size, Optimus could have mistaken him for a war-frame, but his blue optics showed he was obviously an Autobot.

Along with that...there was something else familiar about him.....

Optimus thought to try and offer his help, but thought better of it, what good was his axe and grapplers against a full on shoot out.

Surprisingly it was Sentinel who not to gently pulled Optimus behind the firing mechs and out of the line of fire, the Prime also noticed that a certain spider-bot was lightly stepping behind them.

"Over here"! called a feminine voice.

Walking further into the tunnel Optimus could make out the green glow of a Vortex that the Prime swore wasn't there before.

Illuminated in this light was a lithe blue femme.

She glared as they approached and before Optimus could question her the femme had her own blaster up in the air.

"You have 10 milliseconds to tell me who you are and why we shouldn't just leave you here"?

Sentinel was immediately offended "Who do you think your pointing that weapon at?! I'm-"

"Were Autobots"! Optimus said quickly, pointing at the familiar black symbol that was etched into the femme's back wing and then to his own that was placed on his shoulder "Just like you"!

It was fortunate he was able to make out the femme's mark despite the cave's shadows and hopefully it was enough to gain some trust from the female bot.

"Well most of us anyway" muttered Sentinel, nodding to the Blackarachnia who lingered to the back.

Of course, the other Prime would pettily comment to make things more complicated.

The glare of the female Autobot stayed harden and she only steadied her weapon at them.

That is till another set of food steps came down the tunnel.

<Arcee, we need to leave>

Optimus blinked realizing the bot that just arrived didn't speak but was using binary code to communicate.

"I get that Bee" snapped the female bot, Arcee "But are we seriously thinking of bringing in some random bots we found in the middle of a Decepticon mine"!

Optimus audials peeked as he took note at the name of the other bot that was coincidentally sounded close to his own teammates name and who was colored just as similarly.

The mech, Bee, stared between his teammate and the three new bots.

<We can't just leave them> the yellow bot insisted <I don't know who they are, but they don’t seem like Decepticons>

More steps could be heard, bigger and heavier, and soon the large green bot appeared.

"Bad news, guys" he said venting heavily "Cons figured out they've been made and are calling reinforcements! Held off as many as I could but its clear there more coming! If there's any time to leave its now"!

Arcee looked conflicted before transforming her weapon back into a servo.

Pressing the side of her helm it was clear she was comming someone.

"Ratchet, were coming through for the last time" she stated, then adding critically "And be ready....we have company with us"

Optimus blinked.

She then looked to her comrades "Bulk, Bumblebee get ready" she then sent a stern look to Optimus and his group "When I give the word drive"

Bee....Ratchet....Bulk....

"Bulkhead"! he said out-loud looking at the green bot who turned to him confused.

Before he could try to say more Blackarachnia spoke.

"And if some of us aren't fortunate enough to have a vehicle mode"?

The three new bots looked at her confused and a bit surprised, seemingly finally taking in her strange form in the light of the vortex.

Optimus blocked their view of her before turning over his shoulder and saying to the spider bot in a reassuring tone.

"Just climb onto me".

Blackarachnia glared with her many red eyes, the disgusted gag from Sentinel didn't help.

"You need to really start thinking of yourself, Optimus" she muttered, turning behind herself as if contemplating leaving back down the tunnel. But the chorus of a marching troop approaching obviously left her doubtful she could get out of the situation unscathed.

Optimus turned fully to her.

"Please...." he begged.

Arcee finally spoke.

"DRIVE"! shouted Arcee, transforming into a two-wheeler and going down right into the vortex

Bulkhead and the other yellow bot followed suit, turning into their respective vehicle modes and driving ahead.

Sentinel hesitated before changing and following the bots.

Optimus sent Blackarachnia one last look before turning back around changing into his own truck mode.

He waited for a second, hoping, then relieved when he felt a weight climb on top of him.

Not taking anymore time he drove maximum over drive into the vortex.

From his outer scanners he could make out a scene a scene of green and bluish light around the bots as the traveled down this new passage. The way it swirled around made Optimus think of the inside of a twister, like a wind tunnel.

And at the end a bright light.

When they finally rushed the white threshold and transforming down, he found himself and the group in a whole other place. It looked like some old underground human mine or shelter or of some kind. The walls looked carved out of rock, with cement platforms, and complete with rusty staircases and decks small enough for humans.

In a way it reminded Optimus of his own base.

But what was the most eye-catching was one other robot that was also there.

One was a white and red-orange bot that once again struck a sharp notion of familiarity in Optimus, who was looking at several very large green monitors, one of the few appliances in the room that seemed made for Cybertronian size.

. "Finally, you all returned" huffed out before his blue optics scanned over to the new arrivals "Now who are they and why did you insist on bringing them to our base"?

His voice sounded suspicious and accusing.

"Found these bots poking around the new Energon mine the Cons had set up" said Arcee "Apparently they claim they're Autobots"

"Claim"! shouted Sentinel "We are Autobots, your looking at someone whose a member of the Elite Guard....well most of us"

Optimus remembered Blackarachnia and looked behind to check on her, the female spider-bot was standing but oddly rubbing her arms as if she was trying to chase off a chill. But her stare remained guarded as she distant herself from the bots around her.

"Now I'm claiming my right as a Prime of Cybertron! My name is Sentinel Prime and I demand you show me to the nearest communication hub "!

Instead of complying with his demands the bots around Sentinel looked at him like he was mad, there face growing more vexed and irritated as his volume grew.

"Are you clog-heads listening?!! I told you to show me your communications systems, I need to get in contact with the Steelhaven and the rest of my team"!

"Calm yourself, fellow Autobot" a voice gently rumbled

Thundering footsteps echoed from off a side hallway and the floor began to quake slightly, Optimus and the rest turned to see a near titanic bot entering the room. This new mech was easily as big as Ultra Magnus, as Megatron in fact. With his upper body a mostly red with silver metal making up the rest of his limbs, joints, and face as blue paint covered his large pedes.

Looking at the mechs coloring and helm shape, Optimus subconsciously put his hand on his shoulder taking note of his own paint job and how it nearly mirrored the other bots.

Optimus would have taken it as a mere coincidence, it wasn't so uncommon that two bots could have a similar paint job, but far too many mere "coincidences" have just happened to not mean anything significant.

Sentinel was mostly speechless at the arrival of the new bot, mouth hanging agape and leaving him sputtering for a good few seconds before quieting down.

Then the large bot spoke again.

"From what I'm understanding, you and your compatriots are in need of some assistance"?

When he spoke it was in a voice that sounded ancient, authoritative, negotiative, kind of like Ultra Magnus's.

The only difference was the almost gentle tone that came with his words.

"Yes, um, exactly"! confirmed Sentinel, standing straight up "Now may I ask who I am addressing"?

Surprisingly some of the bots made a confused noise looking at Sentinel startled.

The large red and blue mech didn't portray any dramatic emotions, but ever so slightly he arched his expressive optics in a confused way. He looked at the white and reddish bot, someone who Optimus was sure he knew the name of, but the mech just gave the same befuddled expression as the rest of the group.

All the same the titanic bot answered.

"Forgive me, allow me to introduce myself" he stated stretching out his dark servo in a peaceful motion "I am Optimus Prime"
