More people need to watch Mads Mikkelsen's Danish films.

I'm an avid film enthusiast and also very picky about the films I watch. Then hannibal happened and the rest is history...( now you'd catch me watching Ads on YouTube cause it has Mads's shadow in it lol. Karma)

Once I fell in love with Mads Mikkelsen and Hugh Dancy I decided to watch most of their existing individual projects and I started of with Mads and HOLY SHIT!?!

Now I've always known that Mads Mikkelsen is a tremendously good actor but what I didn't expect is to fall in love with Danish films :").

I've absolutely loved:

- Another Round. (I'VE NEVER SEEN A MORE BEAUTIFUL ENDING SEQUENCE OF A MOVIE. I Can't-)

-The promised land. (IT'S REALLY GOOD)

- Adam's Apple. (Unexpectedly beautiful. Personal fav)

-Flickering Lights. (Heartwarming watch)

-Men and Chicken. (ELIAS IS A BABY)

-Riders of Justice (Heartwarming watch + DADDY MADS DADDY MADS)

So far and I'm planning on watching ALL of his films eventually! He's such a versatile actor 👏! HIS DANISH FILMS DESERVE MORE RECOGNITION Y'ALL!

Only Friends Episode 10 | Sand & Ray's Fight Scene

This has got to be one of the most memorable scenes delivered by this pair in the series. It's one I come back to again and again.

Probably the single confrontation where we see Ray so utterly devastated. Even in his 'fight' with Mew, he didn't look this torn up. Khaotung manages to combine high levels of rage with incredible sadness, that his every response is laden with just how deeply hurt Ray is feeling. The first gif breaks my heart because Ray looks like a wounded child, the vulnerability in his expression simply says 'Why? How could you possibly do this to me?'

Whilst Sand (as always) tries to reign his emotions in, tries to remain as composed as he possibly can whilst Ray verbally batters him. This is also the only scene where we see Sand unravel, but he only allows himself to do so once Ray has left the room. The degree of anguish and disbelief in his face when Ray accuses him of lacking any integrity really hurts to watch.

I've said this before but when these two characters come into conflict, the dynamic is so challenging. Ray is always outwardly emotional (which requires Khaotung to be explosive), whereas Sand is mostly inwardly emotional (so First needs to be tightly wound throughout). This could very easily be misbalanced but the tension bounces between these two so well.

god torchwood was such a shitty gritty dark little show with a budget of £5 and all the sets that abandoned london underground stations had to offer but godamn theee most phenomenal cast godamn eve myles picked that show up on her shoulders and moulded this awful unlikeable brilliant character in gwen that i rooted for and hated and rooted for and wanted to fistfight like every other episode and it was brilliant and the supporting cast were so fucking phenomonal and i just. god. if only it had been better

The belief that Guillermo becoming a vampire will make the show less interesting because the dynamic between the characters will change is beyond me.

Do you really think that just because he's a vampire, their relationship will change? Laszlo still gonna be disgusted by him, Nadja still won't give a fuck, Nandor might be the only one who will change a little towards him. But fondamentally, I strongly believe that they aren't gonna suddenly start treating him with respect. He's still gonna be Gizmo for Laszlo/Nadja/Colin even if he's like them.

If anything, the fact that the relationship between them will change, but not without efforts and time is precisely what's gonna make S5 interesting.

Which is why I'm really looking forward to Guillermo making a place for himself in the household, as a fully fledged member of the team, IF the writers actually make him a vampire in S5.
